The kingdom of Hyrule has ushered in a long golden age of prosperity ever since Link had exposed Ganondorf's plans of stealing their sacred relic, the Triforce. It was paused during the unforeseen Twilight invasion, but it quickly resumed shortly after and continued ever since.
"Do you got that my princess?"
The young woman with blonde hair had woken up from her nap and is confused about what her teacher has been saying. "I'm sorry, what do you just say my teacher?" She said tiredly.
"Zelda my dear, you have got to stop taking naps during my lectures. If this happens again, I'm gonna have to talk to your mother about this." He said sternly.
Zelda got up for her table and chair "I'm so sorry mister, I swear that it won't happen again" she declared as she leaves the room.
"You better keep that promise my princess." the teacher said as he organizes his papers and books
Zelda has been very lonely ever since her father died suddenly when she is little and has trouble finding friends outside of her bodyguard, Impa that are not hired or are a child of one of the castle staff. Her mother, the queen is very well aware of this for quite some time and she comes up with a plan to change that
While Zelda is walking to her bedroom, a maid came up to her with some news, "Your mother wants to talk to you, your highness". "Really?" Zelda replied, "where she's at?". The maid guides her to the room that the queen of Hyrule is currently in which is the meeting room.
The queen sits at one of the chairs in the room and she appears in a royal garb that she typically wears which is pink and gold and on her head lies an old crown that's been passed down in the royal family for generations along with a string with three jewels. Her blonde hair is bundled up in a low bun with a net to hold it.
"Zelda my dear, how's your day going?" She asks her daughter "fine I suppose" Zelda responds, still having her memory with her teacher today fresh in her mind
"I see, but I want to talk to you about my plan." Said the queen as she pulls a chair for her daughter to sit on. She then said to the maid, "you may now have a break for the rest of the day"
"Yes, your majesty." The maid replied and then leaves the room leaving the two royals alone.
Zelda went over to the meeting room and sits down on the chair that her mother pulls for her "I know your problem with making friends for quite some time and I have a plan to change that." The queen said to her
"What do you mean by that?" Zelda questioned while she's doodling in one of the papers at the table
"There's gonna be a trade meeting here this weekend with various kingdoms and I've been thinking of also inviting the ruler's kids as well as an opportunity for you to make some new friends" the queen explained to her daughter.
"Really mom?" Zelda said confused.
"Yes, really my dear" the queen responded as she lays her hand on Zelda's shoulder
Zelda then hugs her mom and said "Okay then mom, perhaps I'll give it a shot!"
"That's the spirit, Zelda!" The queen said "now you may go to your room"
Zelda got up from her chair and leaves for her bedroom excited for the weekend to come.
But little does she know that the meeting will kickstart an adventure with an unlikely friend

In the forest south of Hyrule lies a small village known as Hateno. It is near the Tarm ruins right at the border of the nearby kingdom of Holodrom and unlike their next-door neighbor, Ordon, they specialize in medicine and herbs while their religion is quite different from the rest of the world.
Within the village is a particular boy I'm sure a lot of you might know about because of his ancestors
"Wake up Link!" A little girl cried out "The mayor wants to talk to you about something important!"
Annoyed by the shouting, Link wakes up and clumsily got up from his bed, "Alright alright Aryll.." he said tiredly as he looks at his sister from his window "But I'm gonna wake up my fairy companion before I'll go to the mayor, okay sis?" He continued
"Okay, Link! I'll see you later!" Aryll respond and then she goes off to play with her friends in the village for the day
As Link got his attire on for the day, he opens up a small door in his bedroom. "Wake up Trixa, the mayor wants to talk to me today," he said to the sleeping fairy
Trixa is Link's companion ever since he found her in the Tarm ruins and nurse her back to health when he was little. She's quite a spunky soul who's got somewhat of a crush on the pink-haired boy.
"Mmm, alright Link just give me a few minutes to get ready and I'll meet you there" she tiredly said as she got up from her bed and goes to her clothes drawer in her room
"If you say so." Link said as he leaves the room to go to the mayor
He got out of the house to go to the mayor's house where she's currently talking to a few villagers with the carts.
"Oh Link my boy, you're just in time!" She said happily to the boy. "Did your sister wake you up again?" She teased
Link puts a hand to his face in embarrassment "ugh.." he groaned
"Cheer up Link, I've got something to tell you," she said as she calms Link down. "A couple of villagers are gonna be going to the Gerudo desert for trade with the people there"
"Really?" Link respond "but what do you want me for?"
"I've got a letter yesterday from the Gerudo chief that saids in our next trade with them, they need you to come with us because he wants to talk to you." The mayor told Link
"I've never been outside of the village that much so this could be interesting," Link said interested "when's the trade taking place?"
"This weekend" the mayor replied "so you got plenty of time to prepare for that trip"
"Alright mayor Jolene, I'm looking forward to that" Link said happily since this is gonna be the first time that he's gonna see the world outside of the village he is born and raised in. Link then leaves the scene to do his daily routine for the rest of the day
But little does he know that the person who wanted him to meet at the trade port at Gerudo desert wants to end the curse that they're mysteriously linked with a particular princess of Hyrule
