AN: Sorry this chapter took so long to come. I was busy with the specialist for my hip. A little chapter but a little fun with the love lives of those involved. Finally Bell stops running. Just wanted to tell everyone, there was no way Bell was going to be kissing or lickng Goliath's ass. That was just a tease. He'd never make the Hall of Heroes if he did that or if he did make it, he'd have the worst title, like King of Ass or something. I couldn't do that to the poor bloke. At least now the papers can read that 'Bell Lit A Fire Under Goliath's Ass!" A much more fitting title.

AzureKaiser:- ? Credit card?

Onishin Tsukitenshi:- There will be plans for the Amazons but that will come in the Port Melen Arc.

Knight8, casablanca1317 and ghost777:- Don't worry, I couldn't do that to Bell. It was just a tease. Serenity will have a lecture prepared for him about it though.

Phantom Thief of Hearts:- Yep that's the Shirou I like, UBW FTW! Also Bell stopped running now… or Archer will force a dog leash on him. Also Hans is Assisstant Editor of the Orario Times so yeah, of the kids he's the most adult but I still like to play with his kid status sometimes, just for laughs. Yep Fou can teleport himself and others. Lucky he's only a baby right now. And I agree, I'd have to be careful using Chloe to keep this fic M rated instead of H (for Hentai) rated with her 'Kissing Demon' skill. Plus with Crane Wing Three Realm or Triple Linked Crane Wing, which ever name you prefer, and Archer around I didn't want to tie the fic up too heavily on Shirou and give my other cards some screentime.

DungeonMaster:- Hestia didn't want a mountain, she wouldn't know what to do with it. But a certain evil genius wanted one and convinced Hestia it was important they got one. It will come out. Also with Finn, that's a reason for Hestia to fight for Age of Consent laws!

Chapter 37 - Resting

Bete Loga, the werewolf of Loki familia grit his teeth. His mind rolled back to the vision of a mere level two almost single-handedly taking down a Goliath. It was chaotic, it was crazy, it was messy but most of all it was awe-inspiring. Something inside him was lit up and it made him fidgety and restless. He paced the grounds listlessly kicking at imaginary stones and tufts of grass. He felt the need to hit something.

Tione sat on the grass, back to a tree. Her hands resting behind her head she thought back to the battle she had just witnessed. Tiona was swinging her Urga around as she paced back and forth on the grass, replaying the battle between Bell and the Goliath in her mind. It had its queasy moments but it was an epic battle never the less. The amazon's blood both boiled. After witnessing something like that, they felt the urge for battle and the desire to push themselves, just like how a mere level two pushed himself to fight what should have been the impossible for him.

"It was pretty impressive I must say." Gareth Landrock the dwarf commented to Finn, "Although some parts of it were a bit… squeamish."

"Yes." Finn grimaced. "Hestia familia is so… I don't know. They're either stupidly strong, or stupidly crazy."

"I vote for both." Gareth thumbed the edge of his axe, looking for nicks.

Lefiya sat by the edge of a lake lost in her own thoughts. Thoughts about a certain Archer and her vice-captain Riveria as she wondered what she should do now. Riveria sat by the base of a big tree overlooking a cliff as she too, thought upon a handsome young man as she curiously wondered what it would be like to share someone with five others. They both shook their heads at the same time. They were too busy for such idle thoughts, they were on an expedition. They got up and promptly shook out the tiredness in their legs from siting down for so long. They were going to stay in Rivira tonight, in town itself. Finn had decided it had been a long day and had just wanted to rest.

When Archer had finally found Bell on the eighteenth floor, he gripped the boy firmly by the shoulders and lectured him. "No more running away Bell. It's time you learned to face up to your fears."

"But… but…" Bell didn't have time to protest as Archer led him by the shoulders to a nearby lake.

Bell looked to the edge of the lake and standing there at the edge, was the beauty he both feared and admired. She was staring right back at him. He felt the urge to run but Archer's firm hand clamped down on his shoulder preventing him from going anywhere. "Be a man… no, a hero you were meant to be." Motioning with his head to Ais Wallenstein he said, "Face her. Talk to her and settle things honorably."

The look he placed on Bell, chilled the boy to his bones. Weakly, he nodded. When Archer and Bell finally reached her, Archer gave her a polite nod and spoke, "Miss Wallenstein, I do believe you have some things you wish to discuss with young Bell here. You two should work things out peacefully between the two of you."

"Yes." Ais answered in her usual monotone.

Archer led Bell to Ais and sat Bell down beside Ais who had also sat down beside him. "No more running away understood Bell. If you run away again I will put a dog collar on you and give Miss Wallenstein the leash." Bell nodded weakly.

"Please… Call me Ais." Ais instructed as Bell again nodded his head.

"Well then. I'll be off while you kids sort out your problems." Archer waved them goodbye and leaped away leaving the two on their own.

Bell fidgeted on the grass in uncomfortable silence. It was Ais who spoke up first. "I'm sorry for scaring you."

Bell blushed as he turned to look at Ais. Up close she was even more gorgeous to him. Her long golden hair seemed to capture the light from the crystals in the ceiling and scatter them giving her an aura, like a diamond. "I'm sorry… for kissing you."

Ais shook her head. "I'm sorry. I must have scared you."

Bell nodded in agreement. "Y… You just surprised me. That's all."

Ais looked downcast for a moment before looking seriously at Bell. "I just wanted to talk to you."

"Talk to me? About what?" Bell was surprised the famous 'Sword Princess' had wanted to talk to a nobody like him.

"Alien abductions."

Bell cocked his head at her wondering what she meant. She seemed a little nervous now as she continued. "I was wondering if you have gaps in your memory. Days unexplainably lost?"

Now that she mentioned it, Bell did recall an incident when his goddess had said he had disappeared for three days but he had no recollections of what had happened. "I… I think something like that might have happened."

Ais was silent for a moment before she began her recounting her experience and what she remembered to Bell, even admitting she had seen him when they were being probed.

"You saw me naked?!" Bell was half embarrassed and half horrified.

"Yes."

An uncomfortable silence fell between them. Ais decided to change the topic. "You're very strong for level two to fight Goliath like that."

"Um… Thanks." Bell scratched at his head shyly. "It's thanks to my masters that trained me I guess."

Masters? Training? Was this the secret to how he leveled up so fast? Ais wanted to get stronger but for the past three years, it seemed she had hit a roadblock and was stuck at level five. "Your fighting technique is very…. Brutal." She settled on.

"Ahaha!" Bell nervously chuckled. "Assassin taught me so…"

Assassin? Was he some sort of hired killer? Was that why he was adept at using poison? Thinking about poisons, she unconsciously touched her lower lip. Even with her abnormal resistance, she was unable to stand up to his poison. She wondered how he had done it. "Your… poison, is it a skill?"

Bell's face turned a strawberry colour as he remembered the incident. "Um.. Yeah. It's an acquired skill my master taught me."

'Acquired?' Ais wondered if she could acquire such a skill as well. It could only help her get stronger and strength is what she sought. She couldn't wait for a hero so she had to become her own hero. "Could you teach me?"

Shocked Bell fumbled over his words, "It… It's… umm… really hard to learn… and… um… need lotsa antidotes…"

"I have antidotes on me." Bell stared at Ais as she nonchalantly answered him, "Riveria always makes us carry spares just in case."

"But… but… but…" Bell's nose bled a little at the thought. "But the training involves kissing?"

Ais considered his words and her goals. She wanted to get stronger no matter what. Here in front of her was a level two adventurer who had managed to defeat her, a level five adventurer simply because he had the right skill. A skill that could be taught and acquired. Weighing up the pros and cons she faced him seriously. "Then please, kiss me."

Riveria Ljos Alf was annoyed at herself. She couldn't believe she had just spent the past hour sitting on the edge of a cliff thinking about the same man over and over again. When the man of her thoughts appeared suddenly on the cliff edge she was shocked out of her thoughts. He seemed to be peering off into the distance at the scenery. She spoke before she thought.

"What are you doing here?" There was more heat in her voice than necessary.

He turned to her and wryly smiled, "Supervising Bell."

She felt a flutter in her chest when she looked at him but she beat it down, reminding herself that she was angry at him. "Why did you not tell me you had a lover? Or five of them for that matter?"

Archer seemed annoyed at this line of questioning, "You never asked and I didn't think it was any of your business."

He was blunt but accurate. It really wasn't any of her business. However, that didn't stop her from feeling indignant. "Philanerer! Playboy! How could you… No… How dare you play with a maiden's heart like that!"

"Look," Archer intended to end this conversation, "No one's cheating on anyone. We're all in it together. We are all happy together. It's no one's fault that they all fell in love with me or that I love all of them as well."

Riveria clenched her fist and growled at him, "How is that even fair or possible."

"I'll admit, it has its challenges." Archer merely shrugged, "We love each other and I love them all equally so there's nothing wrong with it."

"You love them all equally?" Riveria was astonished. "No one is treated better than the other? And they are fine wih that?"

"Look, in the end, we're all consenting adults. We all decided together that love was enough for us and that we could all share that love, instead of forcing someone to miss out."

Riveria was quietly stunned. She knew that love was a powerful force, but for it to be shared like this felt wrong to her. She thought back to his words and shocked herself. 'We love each other', 'We're all in it together'…. Lewd images played in her mind, a scene of one man and five women, a tangle of bodies and exposed flesh, each enjoying each other, man or woman….

She blushed as her nose exploded in blood. She had to hide her face in her hands as she couldn't even look at Archer in the eye anymore… Not without those thoughts surfacing anyway.

Lefiya Viridis sighed her hundredth sigh. Her mind kept drifting to a certain white-haired male. He was a taken man, he already had a lover. That she always knew. She was willing to compete and try to snatch him for her own. But then he revealed that he didn't have one, but five lovers and that there could possibly be a sixth. She wondered if it came down to it, would she be willing to be the sixth? Could she share him with five others?

Picking up a small stone she threw it into the lake as she got up in a huff. She decided she would find her friend and idol, Ais Wallenstein to talk things through with. After all, Riveria obviously had ulterior motives so her advice was now suspect. As she rounded the lake's edge, she quickly ducked back behind a nearby tree. Her heartbeat was pounding as her eyes wrinkled and watered with tears.

Fearfully, she slowly poked her head out the side of the tree to confirm if what she thought she saw was true. By the lakeside, Ais Wallenstein was kneeling before the boy that fought the Goliath, Bell Cranel, the 'Little Rookie'. Their faces were joined together in a deep kiss. What was more was that it was Ais herself who had her arms around the boy's neck as she drew him deeper into the kiss. There was obviously a lot of spit swapping going on.

Lefiya ducked beack behind the tree. She had mixed feelings but the biggest feeling she had was righteous anger. If everyone around her was finding their happiness, she was going to make sure she got some of her own. All thoughts about being taken, all thoughts about sharing left her mind. She no longer cared. She'd fight for him, she'd share him if needed, she just decided she would grab him with her own two hands and she would make Archer, hers.

Finn sat beside one of the wagons in the camp as he slowly went through a mental checklist of what they needed to do once they started trekking down to the nineteenth floor. Gareth was standing beside him carefully inspecting the edge of axe. The sudden arrival of Bete snapped them out of their musings as the werewolf looked flustered. He had obviously ran a long way.

"Finn, Gareth. There's been a murder in Rivira."
