London, England

The car stopped down the road from the gate while Margaret, Louisa, Jessie, Connor and Murphy looked at the armed guards moving by the gate and Connor leaned on the top of the front seat.

"What's with th'guards?" he asked.

"I have no idea," Margaret said. She steered the car closer to the gate as the guards pointed their rifles at the car and Margaret stopped the car. The guard walked to the car while he pointed the gun at the car and Margaret pushed the button to lower the window. "Lower your weapon."

"Miss Stone?!" the guard asked with wide eyes, but he didn't lower the gun.

"Yes, it's me. Now, I will not ask again. Lower your weapon."

"I'm sorry, Miss Stone, but I can't," he said they he looked at the other guards. "Contact Captain Fitzroy! It's Miss Stone!"

A guard ran into the guard tower as the guard looked at Margaret and she arched an eyebrow.

"What is going on?" Margaret asked, but the guard didn't answer. Sighing, Margaret reached to pushed the button, but the guard barely shook his head.

"Why do I have a feelin' they think this is a trap?" Murphy whispered to Connor.

"I'm feelin' th'same thing," Connor whispered.

"Why would they think that?" Louisa whispered.

"Maybe they think Maggie's been kidnapped an' she's bein' forced t'do this."

"That's ridiculous," Margaret whispered and the guard tried to look into the car to see who she was talking to. "Mind moving back?"

"Who are you talking to?!" the guard demanded and his finger barely moved over the trigger.

"I am speaking with my husband," Margaret said with a cold tone while the guard led Captain Fitzroy and several guards to the car and she noticed they were all wearing battle armor.

"Move away from the car!" Angus ordered and the guard moved away from the car. Margaret noticed the look on his face while the guards pointed their weapons at the car and Murphy pulled Louisa closer. His left hand was on the door handle and Louisa felt him holding her a little tighter.

"What are you doing?" Louisa whispered.

"If they open fire, I am openin' this door an' we're makin' a run fer it," Murphy whispered. He locked eyes with Connor as they had a silent conversation and Connor nodded. Murphy looked at Jessie as she nodded and Connor and Jessie held onto the door handles.

"No one is making a run for it," Margaret said as she opened the car door, got out of the car and she walked to front of the car. Fitzroy looked at her as Margaret slowly reached her hands up and Connor's eyes widened as he watched his wife undress. She stood naked in front of the car as she slowly spun around to show she had nothing to hide and she gave Connor a wink.

"Christ," Connor whispered.

"Lord's name," Murphy warned then they broke out laughing.

"Satisfied?!" Margaret asked while she looked at Fitzroy and several of the guards grinned as they nodded their heads. She picked up her clothes and her high heels as she walked to Fitzroy and she tried not to smile at how crimson his face looked. "Now, will you please tell me what is going on?!"

"Uh…. Well…. Um….," Angus stuttered and the car doors opened. Murphy, Connor, Louisa and Jessie exited the car and Connor strolled over to Margaret. He slid his arms around her as she backed into him and he kissed her bare left shoulder.

"Mind stop gawkin' at my wife?!" Connor asked with a growl and the guards lowered their heads. Margaret glared at Fitzroy as he motioned with his hand for the guards to move back and Connor led her to the car. He helped her get dressed then he kissed her lips and Connor, Murphy, Margaret, Jessie and Louisa got in the car. Fitzroy watched the car move by the gate as he and the guards headed for the gate and he felt his stomach sinking.

Louisa snuggled next to Murphy as he looked out the window and he wrapped his right arm around her. She felt the deep rise and fall of his breathing and she noticed the muscles in his jaw were twitching.

Jessie was on her phone while she informed Romeo what was going on and Connor was strumming his fingers on the dashboard.

The car came to stop near the curb as one of the guards opened the driver side door and Margaret exited the car after she turned the engine off. Connor exited the car as he moved quickly to her and the guard moved back. Murphy, Louisa and Jessie exited the car as the twins placed the sunglasses on and they stood on either side of Margaret. She glared at the guards as she headed for the door and Louisa and Jessie followed them.

"Wait!" Angus called out while he ran closer and he was panting by the time he had caught up with them. He followed them inside as the doors slid open and Margaret headed for the security desk. The guards gave her a stunned look as Margaret walked by the security desk and the twins, Louisa and Jessie followed her. Fitzroy ran to catch up with them as they stopped at the doors to the elevators and Margaret pushed the call button. "Miss Stone…"

"Not now," she growled. The doors opened as they walked in the elevator car and he followed them inside. She pushed the button as the doors closed and Connor stood near Margaret. He saw the anger on her face as he slid his left hand around her right hand and she wrapped their fingers together. The door slid open as they walked out of the elevator car and they headed down the hallway. Murphy held onto Louisa's left hand as she slightly smiled at him and he gave her a wink.

"Miss Stone, I really…"

"For the last time," Margaret said after she stopped walking and she turned to look at him. "My last name is MacManus not Stone. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Miss St… I mean, yes, Mrs. MacManus."

Nodding, Margaret headed down the hallway while Connor turned to look at him and Connor gave Fitzroy a smug look. They stopped at the reception desk as the receptionist looked at her and the receptionist stood.

"Miss Stone…," she said then she became silent from the cold look Margaret was giving her and Margaret folded her arms under her breasts.

"Have Miss Lane report to my uncle's office," Margaret said.

"Uh, I am sorry, but I cannot do that."

"Why not?"

"That is what I have been trying to tell you," Fitzroy said and she turned to look at him. "Miss Lane is missing."

"Missing?"

"Yes. She was kidnapped a few days ago."

"I see."

Margaret headed for the door to her uncle's office when she opened the door and Connor, Murphy, Louisa and Jessie followed her. She stopped in the center of the room when she saw Morgan was not in the office and she turned to see Fitzroy standing in the doorway.

"Where is my uncle?" she asked.

"He was kidnapped as well."

"And none of you thought to contact me?!"

"We've been trying, but you didn't answer our texts or emails. That is why we're on high alert. We thought you had been taken as well."

Margaret felt a cold knot developing in her chest as her mind replayed all the texts and emails with OPEN NOW she had ignored and she sighed.

"Hold on," Connor said as he thought of something and Murphy felt the anger and confusion coming from his brother. "You believe my wife has been kidnapped an' you don't inform me?!"

"Well… We didn't think of contacting you because… You are getting a divorce, aren't you?"

"No, we are not. It was a ruse to find out why my uncle really needed their help," Margaret explained.

Fitzroy looked from Connor to Murphy then back as he saw the anger in the twins' eyes and Connor flexed his fingers.

Margaret walked to Morgan's desk as she sat down and Connor walked toward Fitzroy before he headed for the desk.

"Be glad we're not armed," Connor whispered. Fitzroy made a shaky nod of his head as Connor went to stand next to the chair and Murphy went to stand on the other side of the chair. Louisa and Jessie went to stand next to them and Fitzroy swallowed the lump in his throat.

"Well?!" Margaret asked as she leaned forward and she placed her forearms on the desk. "Are you going to explain what happened to my uncle and Miss Lane?"

Taking a deep breath, Fitzroy explained. Margaret sat back in the chair as she looked from Connor to Murphy then she looked at Fitzroy.

"Were there any ransom demands?" she asked.

"No," Angus said with a shake of his head.

"Was there any contact at all?"

"No."

"Then how do we know they were really kidnapped?" Murphy asked, glaring at him.

"My brudder's right. How do we know?" Connor asked.

"We found Mister Stone's driver's body in a shallow grave not far from here," Angus said.

"How was he killed?" Margaret asked.

"He was shot twice in the back of the head," Angus said as he glanced at the twins.

"Look at my husband and his brother like that again and I assure you it will be your last."

"We also found his private car at the bottom of a quarry."

"Sounds like a set up to me," Jessie said and Louisa nodded.

"I could say the same about you," Angus said as he glared at Margaret and Margaret stood up.

"You think I took Miss Lane and my uncle!?" Margaret demanded.

"Considering who you're married to, yes."

Connor and Murphy climbed up onto the desk as they jumped to stand in front of him and Fitzroy backed up, removing his gun from the holster.

"Use it or put it away," Murphy said with a small growl.

"Don't think I bloody wont," Angus said.

Louisa walked to him as Fitzroy watched her duck under his arms to stand in front of him then he yelped when she slammed her right hand into his cock. She dug her fingers in as he whimpered and she locked eyes with him.

"Drop the gun. Now," she said in Italian.

"What did… What did she say?" he asked, looking at Murphy.

"She told you nicely to drop yer gun," Murphy said with a blank look on his face. Nodding, Fitzroy placed the gun away as she let go, walked to Murphy and Murphy slid his left arm around his wife.

"Yours is bigger," she said in Russian and Murphy snorted a laugh.

"Since when has she been a bloody bitch?" Angus asked as he wiped the tears from his eyes.

"She always was one," Connor said.

"Better believe it," Louisa said.

"Well, if you didn't take them, where have you been all this time?" Angus asked while he looked at Margaret.

"We have been working on this," Jessie said as she handed Fitzroy the file folders and he sat down on the chair in front of the desk. He read the information as he looked at the photographs then he looked at the twins and he shook his head. After he was finished, he handed the file folders to Jessie then he sat back in the chair.

"Bloody hell," Angus sighed. He watched Margaret as she typed on the keyboard and she looked at the screen. She knew how to get around the firewalls as she looked through the highly classified files when she saw something and she frowned.

"What're you lookin' at?" Connor asked. He walked around the desk to see what she was looking at and his eyes slightly widened. Murphy felt his brother's confusion as he walked to Connor and he looked at the screen.

"He…? He knew Uncle Sibeal? Murphy asked.

"it appears so," Margaret said while typing on the keyboard and she sat back in the chair. "That would explain a lot."

"What're you talkin' about?" Connor asked.

"Don't you think it was rather odd that we haven't heard from him since our wedding?"

"Aye, it is odd," Murphy said.

"Well, according to this, my uncle sent him and…Agent Bloom?"

"He knew Agent Bloom?" Connor asked.

"Who is Agent Bloom?" Angus asked.

"Agent Bloom was th'FBI agent who was assigned t'investigate what happened in Boston before we were sent t'Hoag Maximum Security Prison," Murphy explained.

"What does he…?"

"She," Connor corrected.

"What does Agent Bloom have to do with your uncle?"

"Looks like she was working for my uncle as well," Margaret said.

"Smecker was workin' with him, too," Connor said, pointing to the screen then he looked at Fitzroy. "He was th'other FBI agent who was helpin' us."

"Sounds like you have friends in really high places," Angus teased then he went silent from the cold look Margaret was giving him.

"Where did he send them?" Murphy asked.

"He sent them to Dorset," Margaret said.

"Why?" Louisa asked.

"Remember when we last saw Smecker?"

"Aye, he had been kidnapped by that Butcher guy," Connor said.

"The Butcher?!" Angus asked with a shocked look. "What did he do to attract that psycho's attention?"

"He failed to deliver my husband and his brother to their new employer," Margaret explained.

"You mean your uncle?"

"No, it wasn't him."

"But your uncle might have known who it was and he placed their uncle and Agent Bloom in protective custody."

"I believe you are right."

"If that's true, why did he let their uncle preform the service at our wedding?" Louisa asked.

"He performed the service at ours as well," Jessie said.

"Well, he was paying for the weddings, so I guess he wanted to make Connor, Murphy and Romeo happy by letting him perform the ceremonies," Margaret said while typing on the keyboard and she frowned. "Oh. It appears I have some bad news."

"I see it," Connor said as he looked at Murphy. "Uncle Sibeal died."

"He did?" Murphy asked as he looked at the screen.

"Murphy?" Louisa asked and he looked at her.

"It says here he had a heart attack durin' a service."

"When?"

"It was a year after th'twins an' Annie were born."

"Why didn't yer uncle tell us?" Connor asked, looking at Margaret.

"I guess he didn't think it mattered," Margaret said as she glanced at the screen. Fitzroy cleared his throat while he shifted his position in the chair and she looked at him. "Let me guess. You were supposed to tell us."

"Uh, yes, I was. But then your uncle changed his mind," Angus said and he cringed at the dark look the twins were giving him.

Connor tapped Margaret's left shoulder as she looked at him and he nodded with his head toward the door. She got up as she followed him to the door then Connor placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Do you trust this eejit?" Connor whispered.

"No, I don't," Margaret whispered. She watched Connor's eyes as he thought for a few seconds then he gave her a sly grin. He led her back to the desk as Connor sat down and he gave Fitzroy a blank look.

"I need you t'do us a favor," Connor said.

"What sort of favor?" Angus asked.

"I need you t'go find Agent Bloom."

"Why?"

"We need her help."

Fitzroy looked at Margaret while she glared at him and Fitzroy stood, walked to the door and he left the room.

"Now that we got rid of that eejit, let's find out what's really going on," Murphy said.

Connor got up as Margaret sat down then she typed on the keyboard when she found something and she sat back in the chair.

"I believe I found out what happened to Detectives Dolly and Duffy," Margaret said.

"What happened to them?" Louisa asked.

"They were sent to Irondale."

"What's Irondale?" Murphy asked.

"It's a mental institution."

"Why would he send them there?" Jessie asked.

"It's where my uncle places his…problems."

"You think he might send us there?" Connor asked.

"No, you aren't a problem."

Connor noticed the look in her eyes as she sighed and he knelt down next to the chair.

"You're not a problem either," he said and she wrapped their fingers together after taking his left hand.

"Well, I guess we're goin' t'Irondale," Murphy said.

"I'm afraid we can't do that," Margaret said.

"Why not?"

"Ten years ago, Irondale was destroyed in a fire."

"Do they know how the fire got started?" Louisa asked.

"One of the patients started the fire."

"Did everyone get out?" Jessie asked.

"No. You see, like our house, Irondale's security system activates at the first sign of danger and…"

"An' th'whole place is sealed shut," Connor said.

"Shit," Murphy whispered.

They became silent as Margaret typed on the keyboard and Connor looked at the screen. He read the article about the fire as he sighed and she looked up at him.

"Still think we should check it out," Connor said.

"I agree," Margaret said as she logged off the computer, got up and they headed for the door. Connor opened the door as they left the room and he held Margaret's left hand while they walked down the hallway.

Unknown location

The darkness surrounded her while Jordan sighed and she curled her body into a ball. Her mind replayed what she had seen and she felt like she was going to be sick.

"Now you understand why he didn't want you to see him?" a voice in her head asked and she moaned.

"Ah, you're awake," a low voice said, but she didn't move. She heard the heavy footsteps as whatever she was lying on dipped down and she felt long fingers moving through her hair. "Please. Talk to me."

"Just kill her," the other voice said and she head a low growl in the darkness.

"Get out!"

"Look, she's not going to say anything. Not now that she knows what you look like. Shit. I was grossed out when I first saw you."

"I said get out!"

She listened to the heavy footsteps moving through the darkness as the long fingers moved through her hair then she head a soft sigh.

"How…? How did it happen?" Jordan asked.

"You know how it happened," the low voice said.

"But…you died."

"I died a few times. They kept bringing me back."

She slowly sat up as she reached out her hands and she felt the smooth skin as well as the scars. She slid her hands to the side then to the back then she gently moved her head forward. She felt the soft skin against her forehead as she sniffed and hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I am… I am so sorry," she whispered.

"No, there is no need to be sorry. I should have told you everything."

"Will you tell me now?"

"If you wish."

She listened as the low voice explained and she blinked the tears from her eyes. She then moved closer as strong arms held her and anger and hate slowly filled her. She moved her fingers over the smooth skin as a low chuckle filled her left ear and she leaned her head closer.

"I am going to be sick," Mike Baker thought while he stood in the dark as he watched scene and he lifted the night vision goggles. He walked to the door as he barely opened the door then he slid into the hallway. He closed the door then he walked down the hallway and he placed his hands in the pockets of his jeans. He stopped at the door as he opened the door, walked in the room and he headed for the bed. He looked at Morgan lying on the bed and the soft green light of the heart monitor filled the darkness. Mike listened to the hissing sound as he leaned on the mattress then he snorted a breath of air.

"I could kill you so easily," he whispered. Standing up, he walked out of the room after he closed the door then he walked down the hallway. He headed for the next door when the door opened and he looked at Detective Duffy.

"Hey," Mike said, but Duffy just shuffled down the hallway. Baker saw the dull look in Duffy's eyes as Duffy moved by him and Baker saw the arched scar on the right side of Duffy's head. Baker walked to him, taking hold of Duffy's shoulders, and he locked eyes with him. "Hold on, Dude. You're going the wrong way."

Baker turned Duffy around as they headed down the hallway and he escorted Duffy back into the room. Baker looked at Dolly standing in a corner while Mike led Duffy to the chair and he sat Duffy on the chair. Baker walked to the corner as he looked at Dolly and Dolly had an identical scar arched over the right side of his head. Sighing, Baker left the room when he closed the door and he walked down the hallway. Suddenly, the lights went out as Mike rolled his eyes then he lowered the night vision goggles. He heard the heavy footsteps as he watched two figures moving toward him and he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Who are you?" Jordan asked after they stopped in front of Baker.

"The Butcher," Mike said with a small growl.

"Watch your tone," the low voice warned and Baker snorted.

"Yeah."

He watched them walk by him when Baker sighed, headed down the hallway then he walked into Morgan's room.
