Disappointment and Hope

"Sirius, is that you?" Harry asked again.

"Yes," he told him what happened. Harry hugged Sirius, then informed him he was a free man. Sirius noticed that Harry looked worried, not particularly happy to see him.

"Great, I guess I will keep my identity secret for a while longer; I hope to move into my house soon. You can keep half of my vault, but all the Black jewelry goes back to me, along with all inside my home." Sirius thought it was a great deal.

Harry paled, "Ginny won't like it. She just had the house done. Most of your vault is gone." Harry had shifty eyes. Camellia wasn't friendly at all; she growled softly.

Sirius raised his eyebrow. "So, you are saying you are broke. Wow, you went thru several million Galleons in the house. It must be something else."

"No, the Potter vault is mostly intact." Harry looked at his shoes.

Sirius was pissed. "What has happened with you? Are you trying to cheat me?" Camellia growled louder.

Harry sounded defeated, "Ginny will be angry. Sorry, it was shabby of me."

"Fix the Potter Manor. You are rich enough. No, you cannot keep half of my vault. I will determine how much." Sirius clenched his jaw.

"But the Manor is on the country; Ginny will dislike it," Harry whined.

Sirius' heart hardened, Camellia growled; she agreed with Sirius.

"You have two weeks to pack a; if you wish, you can be my guest until your home is ready. Why her and not our witch?" Sirius didn't recognize this, Harry.

"Because she was pregnant. I don't know how it happened. I was drunk. I wanted to have a family, and I am still to meet Hermione's family. I do miss her; yes, I know I have problems."

"Your problems, not mine. Now that I know I am free, I don't have to hide. But your lies break my heart. I do want Kreacher today; I will stop to get him."

Harry cried, "My life is a mess. Don't take Kreacher, and Ginny will be angry we are giving a couple of dinner parties. Who will help?"

"Not my problem; I will be marrying soon and want to bring my wife to my home."

"Your wife, since when?" Harry dried his tears.

"I would say, since now. You will know. Goodbye, what a disappointment you are." Sirius was terribly sad. He still needed to check on Remus' son. He had seen Remus while out in a coma. He wanted Sirius to adopt him; he forgot to ask Harry.

When Harry told Ginny, "Sirius is back. We have two weeks to pack everything." She yelled angrily.

Kreacher heard and ran to Wallburga's painting.

"Yes, my faithful Kreacher. Lock the library, all the silver, and porcelains; actually put away anything of value. Then go to this address. Now." Wallburga urged him.

Meanwhile, "He wants the vaults, though I can keep half of his. Or I could keep it before I lied. He is going to think about it. It is all your fault. You are going crazy spending money. Kreacher must go to him today. Sirius is marrying and wants to get ready."

Ginny felt a hand touch her. She panicked, went to the mirror. All her jewelry was gone. Well, not really hers, from the Black vault. She screamed, "Kreacher come now," nobody answered. She ran to her room; the jewelry coffer was gone, all the expensive vases, carpets, paintings, poof, gone.

She went around the house. Half of the home was empty, and many doors had vanished. Anything of value that was there before, including exclusive witches' robes, handbags, furs, and adornments, were gone. When she walked by Wallburga, the portrait said, "Shame on you. Watch your step. I have powerful friends who are watching after my son. Greedy witch, you are a liar and a cheat; you used a variation of an unforgivable, of the Imperious Curse, on Mr. Potter to get pregnant. I will tell him."

Ginny didn't even look at Wallburga. She would obliviate Harry. She went to hire a solicitor.

The solicitor was grim, "Mrs. Potter, all Mr. Black needs is the MoM to verify his magic core, and he can kick you out tomorrow. Any of his galleons you spent must be returned. Since the death couldn't be verified without the body, you shouldn't have touched his vaults until ten years after he ahem, disappeared. Before you came, I found out your husband has a large vault from his parents, which hasn't been touched. Frankly, you should try to make peace with Mr. Black. He could cause legal trouble for you. As for the Elf, he belongs to the house of Black."

Ginny went to two more solicitors with similar results. She had an idea, who was Sirius marrying? If he had no bride, he might not have a use for the house. If he died, Harry was the heir, even better.

Sirius went by the MoM; they verified his magic core. When they asked how he came out of the veil; he said it was a secret. He couldn't divulge the name of the savior. He told them about the accident and how the Muggles were able to fix him up. No glamours, Muggle healers could do much. Witches wanted to know all about it.

Sirius and his witch

Hermione was shopping when she saw the stranger. Oh dear, he made her heart flutter; truth be told, her heart and much lower. A strange reaction, she thought. He had a small dog on a leash, the dog pulled towards her, climbing on her leg. Hermione grinned, bending to pet it, "Who is this pretty girl; I mean, well, you look like one." Camellia jumped and licked her face.

Hermione giggled, picked her, and kissed the little dog. Camellia batted her tail like crazy. Hermione heard the voice. It couldn't be, ''Even prettier if all together possible, lucky puppy."

She lookedat the eyes, "Sirius, " her voice was shaky; she was hoping.

"Yes, my dear witch, it is I, Sirius Black." He grinned from ear to ear.

Next second he had Hermione in his arms, as she fainted. Right away, a circle of onlookers surrounded them. Some had recognized Hermione. Unfortunately, one of them was Rita Skeeter. She pulled out her camera and started taking pictures away. She also took pictures of the stranger; she couldn't believe her luck.

Camellia was not happy; she did not like the stranger taking pictures. Camellia understood what Rita was doing; she opened her mouth, and a stream of hot breath touched Rita's camera, erasing every picture she took. She started barking and snapping, making everyone move away, everyone but Rita.

Rita felt a giant something behind her, she heard, but nobody else did. You were told to leave, do it, or you will receive an unpleasant surprise; leave Miss Granger alone." A claw pinched her arm, Rita was afraid, and in pain, so she ran. No matter she had pictures and a story about the dark creature watching after Hermione. She heard steps chasing her. Leave her alone or else, bugs get eaten by all kinds of critters or easily stepped on.

Hermione opened her eyes, Sirius conjured a stool and sat the witch on his lap.

"How?" Were Hermione's first words.

Sirius told her without divulging the rescuer's name. He wasn't sure if it were still a secret. In any case, she would know when she saw where he stayed.

Hermione laid her head on his chest, unaware of passersby. "Have you see Harry? Her voice shook a little. Sirius felt her trembling, "He has changed a lot."

Sirius's face hardened up, "Darling if you feel better, let's walk."

Hermione stood up with his help. When he wrapped his arm around her waist, she reasoned that she was still feeling not well; never mind, she liked his touch. "I have seen him; I am disappointed with Harry, particularly with his choice of bride." Sirius didn't enjoy seeing Hermione sad, but he liked her body close to him.

Sirius noticed his lower lip trembling, "Disappointed, though I am glad he didn't marry you. This way, you are still free." He waited to say more, not here.

They noticed they were walking right behind Ron, holding the bum of the blond witch Sirius had seen earlier. Sirius wanted to strangle him when he felt her hand freezing cold.

a/n So who is worse Harry or Ron?
