Chapter Seventy

Travel

The rumors – oh my Goddess, you would not believe how out of hand some of those rumors got.

The original girl merely stated that 'Prince Fenris entered the room without permission and proceeded to strip and get into bed' and the whole damn country ran with it… so yeah – as far as everyone was concerned, I was not the only one bedding the Elf.

In fact, when someone was bold enough to ask Fenris – right in front of both Alistair and me – Fenris just gave a coy smirk and declined answering so… that didn't help. Alistair was also rolling with it – when he was asked, he shot a lusty look at Fenris and cleared his throat before saying, "Don't know what you're talking about," before giving a wink.

So fuck it – we were rolling with it. It was my turn to be asked – at dinner on my last day in Ferelden… we had stayed the month and a half until I could get pregnant. I knew I was only a few days along, but there was a child. Alistair had me in his lap when Eamon cleared his throat, "So… Your Majesties… there are rumors that both of you are bedding the Wraith Prince?"

Fenris was giving me a smirk – he knew I found the idea of two men together hot… that was why he rolled with the rumors. Alistair was the same – he rolled because he knew it riled me up to the moon and back – and he benefited from that.

I smiled, "Was there something you wanted to ask, Eamon?"

"… I believe everyone wants to know if those rumors are… true?" he looked a bit flushed.

I shrugged, "Where there is smoke, there is usually fire – how do you think those rumors got started? It is very fun watching two men do things together, Eamon – at least for me. My mates do love to spoil me."

I heard whispers from the staff at that. Beatrix had left long ago with Leli and the Clerics and such – only Mother Brienne remained behind. Aedan had left for Gwaren – he'd left the kids there… Goldannas' kids who he had officially fostered as everyone thought they were Alistairs' nieces and nephew – the three of them that had lived through the Blight.

Fenris leaned over and kissed my cheek since he was sitting next to us. His seep voice oozed that sexiness that I had come to love when he felt playful, "It isn't spoiling if you stay so… sweet."

Oh – damn. His eyes had shot down when he said it – Alistair grinned, "Quite right – it's called pampering if it doesn't change you."

I squirmed – hearing Alistair hiss a little. He nuzzled my neck, "Careful…"

"It is so not my fault that the two of you are teasing me." I coughed with a slight flush. Fenris chuckled as he went back to his food.

Cullen was frowning – I was worried he was going to get stuck that way. Rain laughed jovially, "Katt will be pleased to hear that they worship you – that woman certainly believes you've had a rough time of it and deserve a little pampering."

Alistair nodded, "I agree with that – I can't wait to meet Katt; I hear she holds a whip in one hand and a pen in the other."

Rain nodded seriously, "She does at times – the whip is to get rid of unwanted visitors."

Eamon coughed, "Er… good to know."

Another thing that helped – didn't help – the rumors, was when we were finally leaving for Tevinter (to get it out of the way before I started showing), Fenris kissed Alistair; took him by complete surprise, I think.

I didn't see Alistair pull away at once – actually, the two men shared a rather chaste, but no less real, kiss. Shit – we had to leave and all I wanted to do was go back to bed.

Cullen sighed as we entered Tevinters' lands, "I let Meredith know we are going to Tevinter before returning to Kirkwall. She was not pleased that we were detouring, but… she said this was a good chance for us to get a good look into what is happening there. I am… to make a report on the Argent Spire."

Brienne spoke, "Disregard that order. We cannot risk offending the Black Divine while we are there and if you make that report, you could incite Meredith to do something – it will interfere with my report to the Divine."

Cullen looked surprised, "Very well, Mother. I will tell Meredith that the Divine demanded my report and told me not to repeat it to Meredith."

Brienne nodded, "It is not a lie – you will still write a report… just not to Meredith."

Cullen shifted – as it was just the seven of us, we were all in one large carriage… I was in Fenris' lap. I hummed, "I like the way things are built here – I can see why Tevinter bashes on Ferelden all the time, at least… though… we are getting better in terms of infrastructure and agriculture thanks – in part – to the Fae aiding the Fereldens with that. Look – is that building made completely of marble? That's just impractical… but it does look pretty, right?"

I knew that the house belonged to a noble.

Brienne nodded – it was impractical. Fenris snorted, "I do not wish to be back here…"

"I told you that you could go back to Kirkwall, Fenris." I said.

He shook his head, "And trust the protection of your child to the Knight-Captain? I do not think so."

Cullen exclaimed, "I wouldn't let anyone hurt her, Fenris."

"You hurt her, Captain – and you continue to do so each time you look at her with that frown on your face. I do not trust you to keep our child safe. Ara has said this child belongs to all of her mates – regardless of who sired it. You left her because you view her abilities as Magic – what if this child is Fae and not Human? So no – I do not trust you."

I knew – even if Fenris didn't realize it yet – that my elven mate was rather protective of any he viewed as Family. My telling him that this child was as much his as Alistairs' had triggered an instinct in Fenris… after all – he once told Varania that he would have given her everything had she not betrayed him. And I knew he would do just that for the only family he'd had.

What I hadn't expected was Eamon fussing and making arrangements to send 4 permanent guards to Kirkwall in anticipation of my baby being born.

I had also made a promise to Fenris, Alistair, Sebastian, Hawke and Cullen that I wouldn't block my visions while I was pregnant – we didn't want to risk harming the baby.

Hawke spoke, "Yeah – considering I'm temporarily acting as a mate; that's my kid too; and Sebastians if you think about it. Now, I don't know about Bas, but that makes me a little touchy when it comes to you constantly looking at Ara like she isn't a person."

Sebastian nodded as his eyes widened; he hadn't considered that – even as a temporary suitor – this made him a pseudo father. I could see the gears turning in his head – damn… I was hoping at least one person wasn't going to be super over-protective.

"This child is heir to at least one throne – Danu if they are Fae or Ferelden if they are Human." Hawke pointed out.

"Not exactly – a Fairy Male won't inherit the throne of Danu…" I muttered.

"Then it would be heir to Starkhaven – I am not likely to have a child of my own, as you know… and if this child would also be… mine…"

"You better have a wife – you're supposed to take back Starkhaven in like 6 or 7 years! You were never meant to keep your vows to the Chantry – damn it, Bas!"

He jerked in shock, "I… wasn't?"

"No – you damn well are not meant to. You've been on this path since your family was killed and you broke your vows by hailing yourself as Prince. You're meant to help in Kirkwall until… a major event that hurts you personally but not physically. It will be your sign; especially if Hawke yucks things up and I have to step in to take over. Look – you can do more good as a Prince than a Brother. That is the Makers' will as I have seen it. I can see his hand in so many things – you weren't there when I told Varric the story of the Blight so you don't know what I said in the Temple of Sacred Ashes. I felt the Maker all over that Temple – I heard his words. They were words from long ago that I may not have been meant to hear, but I heard them. Just because I do not worship him as the Maker, does not mean I do not believe, Sebastian. You need to start thinking of what you're going to do when you take back that throne – not if."

Brienne looked gobsmacked, "The Maker… intends him to be Prince of Starkhaven?"

I nodded, "No matter what path he tries to take, he will one day sit that throne."

"Then the Chantry will support him the endeavor when the time comes, of course. And he has already been released from the Vow of Chastity so…"

I moved to crawl into Sebastians' lap – I knew he needed a hug at having the sharp slap of rivalry points. He did put his arms around me, "You're positive… then that just means this child really will inherit a throne no matter what gender or race they may be."

I was thrown off guard by the gentle smile on his face – why was he smiling? I thought he would be upset… "You would normally be upset…"

He chuckled, "If anyone else had told me to take that throne, yes – but you said it's my purpose; that no matter what I do it will happen because the Maker wills it. Having faith somewhat reaffirmed is… comforting, actually."

I hummed – that did make some sense. I hadn't considered that he might be okay with it if I said it was the Makers' Will since he did have faith in the Maker…

I snuggled into him, "Well… good. I didn't want to upset you – I just expected you to be upset about it due to your faith…"

Hawke sniggered, "It really is nice that you don't know everything."

I stuck my tongue out, "Only the gods are Omnipotent and I am not a god. If I were then I wouldn't be here, right?"

Cullen coughed, "B-back to the original topic… you consider this my child too?"

"Of course – you're my mate; a primary mate, no less. Unless you rejected me, this kid belongs to all my mates and potential mates – meaning that, at present, this kid has 5 dads; Alistair, Fenris, Bas, Hawke and you… 6 when we find my fourth primary mate. But I'm 'courting' Hawke and Seb at the moment so that gives them legitimacy as my kids' dads. If I weren't courting them, then it wouldn't count. But I'm 'with' them while pregnant – so even if we stopped courting… look, Fae Laws are complex and overly detailed for no good reason that I can find."

Cullen looked both gobsmacked and hesitant. My lip twitched, "Do you plan to tell Mia?"

He shuddered, "If I don't and she finds out somehow else, I'll be a very dead man. She has resources I don't dare discount."

A full grin lifted my lips, "Even if I hadn't given her a sending stone connected to the one I gave you… she'd have found you without my help. She has a knack for hunting you down… like a Mabari on a hunt."

He groaned, "That she… does… I best get that out of the bloody way, then…"

He pulled out the ruby sending stone I had gifted him upon my arrival to Kirkwall months ago. Mia answered within two minutes to no ones' surprise.

"Cullen – you hardly ever call! To what do I owe the immense honor?" the womans' voice sounded both pleased and slightly mocking… I missed my sister.

"Er… I'm sure you must have heard… the King got married…"

"Ara – lovely girl. Did you take my blasted advice and propose to her yet?"

I laughed loudly, "Quite the opposite my dear – he broke up with me."

"He did what? Cullen, what in the Makers' Name is wrong with you? That woman waylaid the whole damn group of Heros – in the middle of a Blight – to make sure your sisters and brother were alive and safe because she loves you. Makers' Breath – she had just lost her unborn child and still had the presence of mind to shove 12 sovereigns into my hand and tell me to go to South Reach because we'd be safe there! Cullen Stanton Rutherford, if you don't fix this…"

Wow… Cullen was paled as he looked at me, "That was… when you lost the babe?"

I nodded, "An ogre thought I made a good ragdoll and threw me against that golem in the town square. Oh – and I took that Golem with me when I left. I hadn't known I was pregnant – I wouldn't have gotten close to the fighting had I known."

"Don't go changing the subject, Cullen! Who the fuck cares if you're a Templar and she has something a bit like magic? From what I've learned from the Fae that came to South Reach – on the Queens' Orders and to look after us, mind you – you're one of her Soul Mates. Do you even know how many people would kill for such a connection? How did you think she saved our lives? She did it with those abilities of hers! If you don't fix this, Cullen, I will make sure you…"

Cullen cut in again, "Er… she's pregnant! She says that the child is just as much mine as Alistairs?"

Well that shut her up. Everyone in the carriage was looking on in various degrees of amusement. Hawke looked downright smug at the tongue lashing the Knight-Captain was getting from his sister.

Fenris was smirking at me.

I coughed, "Mia… are still there?"

"I-I… I'm going to be an auntie?"

Cullen relaxed that he had successfully distracted her, "Er… yes?"

"… You still better fix this, Cullen – if you drive away the one woman in all of Thedas that loves you in a romantic sense – especially when she carries a child that she considers yours as much as the birth fathers – I will see to it that Branson makes a trip to Kirkwall just to hit you over the head with a pole. And if Branson is too busy then I will come – and you don't want me to come to Kirkwall Cullen… you really don't."

He gulped, "B-But Mia…"

"Don't you 'but Mia' me, mister. She's made sure your family is so well taken care of that we've been better off than before the Blight ever hit. Our Farm is the most popular place to buy horses in Ferelden, our beef sells before it hits the shelves and the we don't have to toss any produce… we have minimal losses, Cullen – She's been so good to us…"

"I didn't even know any of this…" Cullen muttered.

"Of course not – she asked us not to tell you because she didn't want you to feel obliged to her for anything. Maker, Cullen – you still wouldn't know if you hadn't mucked things up. That woman is the only one I will approve of as your wife – so you best get your ass in gear and fix this! I'm angry now – I will be cutting this conversation short… but let me know when the baby is due so I can make a trip to see it." And just like that, the Ruby dimmed.

I looked out the window – so not wanting to have this conversation while Cullen was feeling raw.

Bas coughed, "You've been taking care of his family?"

"So what? They're my family too…" I muttered.

"How much, exactly, have you done for my family, Ara?" Cullen asked softly.

I flinched, "Some…"

Rain snorted, "I've seen the missives and orders, Ara – you got them set up by talking to Arl Bryland about the land they now occupy… they enjoy plumbing and electricity as family to the Queen… you saved them – as stated – during the Blight… I know you keep an eye on any reports that deals with the name Rutherford personally, Ara. You assigned guards to South Reach to keep an eye on them without interfering too much."

I pouted, "Shut up, Rain."

He made a motion like zipping his lips. I moved to climb into Hawkes lap now as I rubbed at my eyes, "I'm sleepy."

Cullen said, "Ara… we will be talking about this…"

I hummed, "Maybe we will – maybe we won't. I didn't do it out of expectation, Cullen – that's why Mia wasn't supposed to tell you. I did it because I would do the same for anyone of my family. How could I possibly allow any of my family to struggle? It has no bearing on our relationship – I won't stop supporting them just because you don't want me, Cullen; I'm not that petty."

My eyes slid closed as my head rested on Hawkes' shoulder and my legs rested in Fenris' lap. Cullen didn't say anything else as I fell asleep.

We were getting close to Minrathous – after a boat ride and 3 and a half weeks in a carriage, I was getting restless. I was only a month along now, and still showed no signs. Rain was the only one not worried but when I pointed out that some people didn't even know they were pregnant until the fourth month on occation… they all seemed to relax.

Fenris was amused when I muttered that I had no real signs with Levi until I was five months and hadn't known at all about my other one until after I lost it.

I knew at 9 weeks with Levi though – because… I had been trying for a child then. So I had been tracking my periods and such. When I missed my period entirely… I checked.

I did get a call telling me the Twins had been born and were completely healthy – and Celeste was fine after the birthing too. They were named Jason and Jade – in accordance to which one was actually female and which one was actually male. Jason was a Water Sylph with dark blue hair, seaweed green eyes and pale blue skin. Jade was a Fire Sylph with coal black hair, red eyes and tanned skin.

Considering Galaxia was the water parent and didn't carry them… I suppose it just showed how random it was what you would be born as.

I was still half asleep on the day we would reach the Capitol when I heard Fenris say, "Cullen – if you continue to push her away… you will lose her."

"That… I mean… I'm trying, Fenris; I am – but I still get those nightmares each time I close my eyes… I can't. I see what Uldred did and heard his words over and over. Every time I see her use what looks like magic… I see it again."

I groaned, "You went through an ordeal – I get it. But blaming every person with some semblance of magic for the actions of a few is biased. Are you going to treat our baby this way too, Cullen?"

He flinched, "I… no – I…"

I curled closer to Bas – I was in his lap today, "Talk more with Rain… should help some. Someone hand me a soda?"

Rain did so – I had told them all that caffeine was okay in small doses during pregnancy; same with sugar. I had set a hard limit of one soda a day for pregnancy. Even if I begged, they were not allowed to give me more than one.

Cullen shifted, "H-how long have you been awake?"

"About two-five minutes, I think… I heard what Fenris said about losing me but nothing before that… and the only thing you could do that would cause you to lose me would be to either reject me or hurt our children."

Brienne spoke, "Could I ask, My Lady, what you did to 'vent your pain' as Rain puts it?"

"I wrote novels, poetry and collected pillows. Did you know that more pillows on ones' bed are a sign of depression? Oh when I found that out, I felt personally called out… leave me and my abundance of pillows to rest in peace. I made soap, perfume and other crafts when the poetry stopped working. Then I found out I was dying – cancer…"

Brienne looked sick and mortified at once, "You-you're dying?"

"Not anymore – I'm perfectly healthy now. I won't go into detail about it at this time. I suppose I should get back to writing and collecting nail colors – might help."

"What would you recommend for Cullen?" Rain asked slyly.

"Fenris – you will spar with Cullen at least once a week for a month and we will assess it after. Another thing that might help is… wait…"

I dug in my bag and pulled out a moon-shaped dream catcher with dragon scales and griffon feathers… I had made it myself… using scales and feathers from my other forms. The thread was spider silk. I passed it to him while I flushed and looked away, "This is a protective talisman to ward off bad dreams. I made this for you over the last 3 weeks…"

"That's what this is? What's it made from…?" Cullen looked slightly awed that I would make him anything.

"The thread is Spider silk, the feathers are from my Griffon form, the scales are from my dragon form, and the circular band is made from the horn of my unicorn form. There are tufts of fur from my Kitsune form because Kitsune are said to be omens of good luck… it's called a 'Dream-Catcher' and in the culture they derive from they function by filtering the good dreams from the bad dreams; it captures bad dreams and only allows good thoughts and dreams to enter the unconscious mind. While the bad dreams are trapped in the webbed portion of the dream catcher, the good dreams trickle down the hanging feathers and beads to soothe and calm the person sleeping. Early in the morning with the first rays of sun, the bad dreams disappear… they uh… they started because Native Americans considered spiders to be protectors. In fact, during their origin, Native Americans believed in a mystical Spider Woman whose job was to protect and take care of children as well as other members of the tribe. As the tribe grew and migrated to expand farther around the country, she was no longer capable of protecting the entire tribe. As a result, she created the dream catcher as a way of protecting the growing tribe. Because of this belief, mothers and grandmothers started recreating the dream catcher and it evolved into a maternal memento… so uh… here we are."

"Is there any significance to using parts of yourself?" Hawke asked in a voice laden with sleep.

"It's supposed to be sacred. I used spider silk – though I greatly fear spiders – because of the origin of the Dream-Catcher – and that's also why it looks like a spiders' web… the feathers are to help the good dreams get to the sleeper; the scales were used in place of beads to represent the spider; the round hoop represents the circle of life… maybe it was juvenile to make one and expect it to work… but I… I want to do something. I always felt better having one above my bed as a kid. Maybe it was stupid…"

Cullen shook his head, clutching the talisman like someone might take it from him, "No – I… thank you. It is… worth a try?"

Sebastian looked half-amused, "You made that for him… just for him?"

I pouted, "So what if I did?"

"Didn't cutting away your unicorn horn hurt?" Rain frowned. I shrugged, "It will grow back – and I cut it off before we ever went to Val Royeaux so don't give me that look. I still have a massive pain tolerance from when I was in constant pain all day every day for 5 years. It hurt, yes – but it didn't hurt so bad… the scales and feathers were shed though."

Cullen clutched the dream catcher like it was a life-line before placing it into his bag. I smiled, "Hang it above your bed at night – in a place that the sun will hit. Like I said – the morning sun is what is supposed to cleanse the bad dreams from the talisman. It was worth a shot."

I would have done the same for any of my mates. But Alistair and Fenris didn't have nightmares as often as Cullen and Hawke and Sebastian had almost no nightmares at all.

We were now rolling into the city. I could see people pointing – we had painted my royal crest on the carriage… since I bought the carriage.

The Argent Spire was in the distance – it was a gold and obsidian building… and the best looking building in all of Minrathous. The whole city was built on a rocky island not far from the shore, accessible only by a single bridge.

Aside from the spire, the once great city looked… decayed. Oh, you could see the former splendor under the decay and rot – but as cited in the books, this city was only held together with magic.

We passed the Dwarven Embassy – where several dwarves saluted my carriage… word had reached even here that I was a Paragon. The embassy was technically subterranean so that the dwarves could keep their castes – the only dwarves I saw were the ones arriving or get ready to leave for Orzammar.

The Grand Proving Arena was also still rather lovely for being built in -1200 ancient. It was a triangular prism with hanging terraced gardens on the exterior – so pretty…

Goddess – this place was beautiful and reminded me of the tales of ancient Rome or Greece. This place… I could certainly see the wonder of it.

When we rolled up to the Spire, I let everyone else disembark first. Sebastian was wearing his white armor when he disembarked.

Then came Cullen in full Knight-Captain regalia.

Next was Revered Mother Brienne – causing scandalized gasps, of course.

Rain stepped out next with a playful smirk on his lips.

Hawke was in the Mage Champion Armor – I made it for him ahead of schedule – with the Staff of Parthalan on his back. Would you believe I'd found that staff in the Bone Pit?

Fenris stepped out next in his normal armor and great-sword… he couldn't stop himself from glowing as he looked around and I could hear the whispers that the 'Blue Wraith' was back.

I then stepped out, taking Fenris' hand and making sure to kiss his cheek. Today – in order to cause the maximum scandal – I was dressed in black denim shorts, a black tank top, strappy sandals and a black denim vest. My hair was left loose.

Everyone else in my party was dressed to the nines or in uniform – but me? Fuck no – casual chic was so in right now.

Urian Nihalias was standing on the front stoop – he was still young enough to get around on his own since he was a newer Divine. I took off my sunglasses and said, "Greetings, Your Perfection."

"You brought one of the Mothers of the Orlesian Chantry…?" the man – 6'0 with pale skin and wearing an all-black version of Divine Beatrix III's outfit – lifted a single eyebrow.

I shrugged, "She was assigned as my Andrastian Liaison – she goes where I go for the most part. I did tell them that I would be neutral – there won't be anything afforded to them that isn't afforded to you. I have already had one of my people begin building an Imperial Chantry in Danu and have asked my people in Kirkwall to prepare an extra room – just in case you assigned a Revered Father to me. I worship neither version of the Chantry – so why would I take sides?"

His lip twitched, "Despite your manner of dress, I can see your diplomacy."

"I chose this because I love stirring the pot – scandals are so much fun." I grinned.

That was when I heard him – Dorian Pavus – laugh. My head turned to the man – he was 6'2 with sleek black hair and lovely green eyes. He did have that mustache and the little bit beneath his lower lip… and his skin was such a lovely deep tan. I knew he was only 21 about now – he was born in 9:11 Dragon.

I lit up, "Dorian Pavus – it's good that you could make it!"

He blinked before recovering and giving me a suave bow, "Well – when I heard you would turn around and leave if I didn't come… how could I say no? I must ask – do I know you?"

"Not at all! I'm a Prophet of sorts – hence why they wanted a Revered Mother on me. I hadn't planned to tell them at all, but when a vision pops in the middle of a meeting with… well, there you have it – I'm outted as a seer."

He chuckled, "Well – that explains how you know my name; who wouldn't want visions of this?" he motioned to his body.

"Oh I agree – who could resist?" I teased. Fenris growled at me, "Ara…"

"Relax – I told you that he won't be interest in me; not like that."

Urian said, "Why don't we continue this inside? I have made sure Magister Danarius was sent to his estate, Castellum Tenebris. Might I ask why he was not allowed at this meeting?"

"His very existence offends me – one day, I may remedy that," I said with a droll look.

Fenris snorted, "Do not take my kill from me."

"I will simply hold him down if that is your wish, Amatus. He is your master no longer," I smiled up at Fenris.

Urian caught on swiftly, "I see – an escaped slave…?"

"No – Fenris is no slave; he is a Prince – my mate – and you will do well to remember such things." I lifted an eyebrow as my hair caught fire.

Urian nodded, "Of course."

"Good – he's ever so protective of me that I worry what he might do to any that simply offend me in my current state."

Urian looked as though a blast of cool water hit him directly in the face, "I see – and the… Templar?"

"Another Mate of mine – as is the one in the white armor and the one with the blood tattoo on his face. I have built quite the Harem for myself, don't you think?"

That was another thing we had agreed on – bluster, bluster, bluster. Hawke and Bas had agreed to play the parts of loving mates to me to keep up the ruse.

"Is there anyone here that isn't your mate?" Dorian teased – I could see many worried that was rude. I beamed at him, "I like you, Altus. The Fairy there is mated to someone else. he is simply here as my healer. The Revered Mother, of course, is not mine… though she could be with the new decree from the Andrastian Divine."

Urian shot up, "What Decree might that be?"

"All members of the Faith may engage in romantic relations – after all, Andraste also had a mortal husband while never wavering from the Maker, did she not? Hence how Brother Sebastian Vael here is my suitor now."

"That… does make sense… I was considering a similar Decree for the past year," Urian bluffed. I almost smirked – that was my intention; that he allow his people freedom of love.

I could see the disbelief on many faces – mostly my people.

He just wanted credit for being the one to think of it first – since he couldn't take credit for putting in place first.

Brienne smiled, "I have no intentions in being your mate, Queen Ara – no offence."

"None taken – my mates are highly jealous of any in my bed that aren't meant to be there. It was a fight to get them agree to Hawke and Sebastian – and then only to satisfy Fae laws."

Dorian tossed an arm over my shoulder – proving my point when Fenris trust a hand into the Altus' chest and said, "Remove your arm – or I remove your heart."

I pouted, "Fenris! He doesn't mean anything by it – let him go. I told you I'm not his type – for shame, but I'm not. Dorian, you would never bed me, would you?"

"See – that you know this and still flirt is rather admirable. I do enjoy the flirting – but no… you aren't my type."

Fenris let him go – reluctantly – and said, "Fine – but if you ever act on it, I will kill you."

"Fair enough – come now, we have negotiations to do! I heard you have cheese made from dragon milk in Danu? I would love to sample that." Dorian smiled as he led me inside.

I laughed all the way to the grand hall where Urian took his seat.
