Chapter 2
The sudden appearance of Holly's stand surprised and worried Jotaro and Joseph immensely. After the quick bout, they made sure to check with her to see if she was hurt from it. She was more worried about her husband's wound from the arrow, which was still in him after he used his stand and Kars left.
"Who was that?" He asked.
Joseph explained to Hiroshi everything that happened those few months he was fighting Kars and the other pillar men.
"This 'Kars' guy is probably going to try to finish his work. Teach me the 'hamon' so I can fight him" Jotaro suggested. "I'll find him and finish him off for good. I'll call my ex-wife and have her pick up Jolyne, Mom, watch her until then."
"I can't watch her while you're gone… Because I'm going with you." Holly vowed.
"You can't do that, it's far too dangerous. You only stopped him that time because he didn't know you had a stand!" Jotaro cautioned her.
"I'm going with you, during that month or so, the only thing worse than the pain of my stand was the thought that you or my father might die protecting me. It's my turn to protect you now! My stand is strong enough to fight!" She objected.
"Good grief, if she's coming with me, than you need to come too to stop her from killing herself, father." Jotaro sighed.
Hiroshi accepted "I wouldn't have it any other way, you know what this means…"
"Kujo family trip!" Holly and Hiroshi sang out simultaneously.
"Shouldn't I be coming too!?" Jolyne pointed out. "I don't wanna be here alone with this old man waiting for mom to pick me up."
"No Jolyne, you shouldn't be, you're only thirteen. Besides, you don't have a stand to fight with." Jotaro ordered. "Jiji, teach us the hamon, then watch her until her mom picks her up."
"I don't have time to teach you any techniques, he'll have already gained too much ground by then." Joseph explained. "But I can get start your hamon breathing." He said. He then poked the three travelers in the torso to put hamon in their lungs. "Come give your great-grandpa a hug Jolyne!" He said with a wink.
Jolyne picked up what he was saying and went in to hug him, "fine" when he secretly poked her lungs with his hermit purple to start her hamon breathing.
"I'll teach you a few hamon techniques while they're gone so you can go too." He whispered to her.
The three travelers picked up on the hamon breathing quickly and started packing. Holly pulled the arrow out of Hiroshi and gave it to Joseph. After multiple days, Jotaro called his ex-wife "A family emergency has come up, I need you to come here and get Jolyne so somebody is watching her."
"Alright, I can be there in a week." She replied
"Excellent." He said before hanging up. "Jiji, where is Kars? We're going now if you're not teaching us any more!" He dictated, handing Joseph a camera.
Joseph punched the camera with his stand, and out came a photo of Kars sitting on a chair, pointing to a sign that said 'Clipperton Island, I can't kill you if we never meet. Don't take a plane.' "Where is that?" He questioned.
"small lagoon island off the coast of Mexico, lots of crabs there, uninhabited." Jotaro stated
Hiroshi announced "I know it said don't take a plane, but I have a friend that's gonna be taking a private jet to Hawaii today. He owes me one, the enemy can't possibly track us if we fly private. I can call him and we can fly with him and then take a boat to America."
"I've always wanted to fly private!" Holly extolled
Hiroshi called this friend of his and brought up the favor he was owed "remember that time I payed for your bus repairs? And how you said you owe me one? You can pay me back by letting me and my family on your jet today. You don't need to pay for hotels or anything, just let us on the plane."
"Are you crazy! we're taking off in half an hour, you can get on if you're here by then I guess." He conceded.
Hiroshi started running out the door and yelled "follow me! Fast!" Jotaro and Holly followed him as he ran down the street. They sprinted for 1 minute straight and arrived at a house. Hiroshi yelled at the person inside through the window "Take this money in exchange for your car!" Holding up a stack of cash so large the rubber band was having a hard time not snapping. The person inside opened the door and they exchanged the money and the car keys. "Seiko! (Hiroshi's nickname for his wife) You've always been a better driver than me. Drive as fast as you can to this place." He said, punching an address into the GPS. "Laws be [REDACTED]"
"Okay!" She said with a slight nod. She got in the car and slammed her foot on the gas without even getting a seat belt on. "Remember your seat belts, you have time to put them on." She reminded Jotaro and Hiroshi.
Holly drove at a speed most would consider crazy. And it wasn't just speed, she passed people in non-passing lanes. Even once she went partially onto the sidewalk to pass a bicycle. Red lights were ran and stop signs ignored. When she saw a squirrel on the road however, she slammed on the brakes, continuing the mad dash after it passed.
"You're doing a great job Seiko." Hiroshi affirmed her.
After nearly half of an hour, they arrived at the target destination. They jumped out of the car and started running towards the plane. The plane started moving a good five seconds before they could reach it. "STAR PLATINUM! THE WORLD!" Jotaro yelled, activating his stand. He carried his parents closer to the plane in stopped time, one under each arm. When time resumed, they were closer, but by the time they were close enough to it, it had taken off.
"Hold on to me." Holly said. The others complied, and she used her stand to grab onto the plane, and pulled all of them up to it adjacent to the door. "Let us in!" She wailed.
Somebody looked out the window of the plane, "Hiroshi! And others! How?" He opened the door and pulled them all up into the plane.
