CH 72
Six AM came early. Allison answered the wake up call and thanked the lady. "Ugh, guys it's six," she grumbled as she grabbed Joan's hand off Bob's chest and slapped it back down, getting both their attentions.
"Already?" Bob's sleepy voice asked.
"Five more minutes," Joan slurred.
Allison kissed Bob and dragged herself up. "I'm headed for the bathroom, be up or get wet when I come out."
Joan reluctantly dragged herself up. She yawned and said, "Come on, studly."
Bob stretched. "You go first, the bathroom isn't that big."
"Catch me in the shower, huh?"
"Sure, why not."
Joan bent over and kissed him. "We have to get ready and go."
Bob smiled, seeing Joan's blue eyes. "Work to do. I'll get your clothes out. I'm thinking you're taking your workout clothes?"
"Yes, my nice blouse and the pants, same with Allie. We're doing paperwork first."
"Right, my love." He smiled as he watched her make her way into the bathroom. Last night had been awesome. Joan had pinned him down with kisses and fondles, then rode him while he kissed Allison and fondled them, his hands and much of the time, his mouth filled with nipples. Joan shuddered and her blue eyes lit the room. When she fell to the side and they kissed, Allison took her turn. Allison had a cute sounding squeak as she came, which lit her eyes up. By then Joan was ready for round two. It as a good thing he could last a long time on his back.
Bob laid their clothes out on the other bed that wasn't used while he waited. The clothes they wore yesterday he put in the bags in their respective suitcases.
They got themselves ready, Allison had to go to her room to get a couple things. Joan and Bob followed her out of their room 30 seconds after Allison walked out. Joan was first of the two out the door. She heard Allison yelp and saw two men press her into her door. One had a tazer and shocked her.
There was one big different between humans and cyborgs. Humans were all biological. Cyborgs were biological in organs and partially in muscle structure, but they also had metal bones and semi-metal ligaments and musculature. Electricity follows the path of least resistance. When the man jabbed the tazer into the middle of Allison's back, the jolt didn't rush through her body, but stayed in the area, being conducted through her metallic structures.
Allison did scream in pain, but she wasn't disabled. She did become very frightened and angry, very fast. Forcing her arm back, she elbowed one of the men hard. He flew back, Joan descended on the other man, punching him on the right side of his jaw, which broke his jaw and tore it free from his skull. It also threw him to the side, off Allison.
The man with the tazer that hit the opposite wall, Bob ripped the tazer out of his hand and kneed him in the solar plexus. The man folded.
"Allie, you OK?" Joan asked as she stood and eyed the men on the floor moaning in pain.
"That friggin hurt!" Allie groaned through her gritted teeth.
"Bob, watch these two, I'm taking Allie into her room." Joan told him.
Bob could see the one Joan punched wasn't getting up any time soon. The one he kneed was lying curled up, opened mouthed, trying desperately to take a breath. Bob squatted in front to him and put the tazer to his neck. "Screw up fella? Why'd you attack Allie?"
The man managed to squeak out a tiny breath. He tried to move, Bob planted him face down on the floor.
"Know what happens if I shock you at the base of your spine?" Bob asked. "The pain you got now is nothing compared to what's gonna happen unless you answer me."
The man's mouth worked. He squeaked out "...uk yu."
Joan called out, "Bob! Police are on their way, just hold them in place."
Bob sighed. "Fella, I really should tazer the hell out of you. Since the cops are coming, they handle you for now. If I ever see you again, you are a dead man. Got it?"
Bob then tossed the tazer down and wrenched the man's arms behind his back and sat on him, waiting for the cops to arrive.
The police came, took them to the side one by one to get statements, and got the coroner and an ambulance. The one Joan punched died of a broken neck. The other one had broken ribs, but lived. Satisfied that those men had attacked Allison on sight, the police arrested the one still alive and took statements. By the time they were done though, it was getting close to 8 AM.
So much for breakfast.
.
They made it to the Austin offices without any further problems. Bob was happy he came. They hired camera men on a first come, first served basis. He was the first to apply, so he got a job. He was then taken down to the field and shown how to run the drone cameras. The man had him following players, and every time the ball was tossed, he had to track it's flight. He'd be wearing a radio and boom mike so the coordinator was in contact with him.
Joan and Allison had a more in depth interview, then they went over the contracts. The Acoustics paid by the game. Minimum was showing up ready to play and participating in the second half festivities. If they got called out on the field to play, then they got the full compensation for that game. Looking at Joan's short football history, Joan was made a wide receiver primary, and 3rd string quarterback. Allison was made a running back, and secondary passer.
As Bob was being taught how to get the best shots and stay out of the player's way, Joan and Allison were drilled on Austin's plays. Instead of just reciting what they were, they ran through the plays. Even though the quarterback threw high once, and to the side a couple times, Joan caught every ball thrown to her.
Patty was glad to see Joan and Allison made it. She was a defense safety, and in two games last year, she caught three interceptions and made 16 tackles. She was at the top of the 'rookie' list. Carla wasn't doing bad either. As a defensive middle line, she got 10 tackles and 4 sacks.
One thing Joan noticed was the secondary quarterback had a tendency to throw low, especially on long passes. Joan still caught them except the one the didn't make it to her, even though she stopped and ran back to dive on it before it hit the ground.
Sunday, it was Joan's turn to do the passing as quarterback. The team was giving four seconds to hike, get set and throw. Jon found that if as soon as she had the ball, a leap back, set and throw, she was within the time limit. The first two receiver 'throwing to the right,' caught her throw, then either they bounced out of her hands, or knocked her over. Hike then throw to the left, Allison was clear and running fast, Joan hit her every time and Allison caught her fast throws every time.
Sunday afternoon, the head coach got everyone together. "Our first game will be against Chicago, in Chicago first Sunday of the month. Joan Connor, Allison Young, you two are still in school, correct?"
"That's right coach," Joan replied.
"Then you'll miss that game. I understand you graduate on 15 June, correct?"
"It is."
"Can you push it back to the 12th, or better yet, the 11th?"
Allison and Joan looked at each other. "We can try. Bob Tanner too? He's a cameraman."
"He'll be starting at the end of June, in our game VS Nashville. The 13th of June, we're playing LA, here. I really want you two in that game."
"We'll do our best. Maybe Coach Hughes can help," Allison offered.
"I'll give her a call. Remind her tomorrow, this isn't a field trip, you're both starting your careers."
"Will do."
.
After a final pep-talk, they were done for the day. They were checked out of the hotel, the Bronco was packed, all they had to do was change clothes jump in and go.
Leaving late n a Sunday afternoon, there wasn't near as much traffic on the road. Yes, it was busy, but not the packed up mess as when they had arrived. Bob getting his job, getting positions on the team and two nights to themselves they were happy going home. Upon arriving it was late. Bob got smooches then he was dropped off. Joan and Allison just hugged when Joan let her off.
Joan got home to tell everyone all three of them got positions on the team. They watched Joan tell them all about it with her happy blue eyes.
.
Monday morning, Joan went to find Mrs. Hughes, and found her coming to look for Joan. She also called Allison out of homeroom to talk to the in the hallway.
"Joan, Allison, I talked to the Principal, " Mrs. Hughes explained. "As far as your final tests, they can be done early, you can get your books turned in and you can be graduated by the eleventh. However, doing so means you will not be in the graduation and awards ceremony. Are you both all right missing the ceremony?"
Joan and Allison nodded. "Our coach seemed to be rather insistent we make the game with LA, so yes." Joan said.
"Yes," Allison agreed. "He's counting on us being there."
"Then you will begin your final tests will be on the 7th through 9th, your books turned in and graduated on the 10th. A week ahead of everyone else. Just make sure you win that game, we'll be watching."
"Thank you!" Joan gushed.
"Yes, we really appreciate this!" Allison agreed.
"I'll let the team know you'll be there to help stomp on LA," Mrs. Hughes said with a grin.
.
Word spread through the school fast that two of their seniors had made it onto a pro football team, and would be playing their first ever pro game on 13 June. This was the first time any graduates from Driftwood ever made it onto a professional team. People with kids in school had it marked on their calender's, a notice was put up in the grocery store, at the garage and up on one of the windows of the sheriff's office.
Seeing all the publicity, Allison whispered to Joan, "We better not suck in that game."
Joan and Allison spent much off their off time throwing the football back an forth while running to catch high and low balls as well as quick-fired balls.
.
Daniels' birthday was coming up. Jackie was frantically trying to figure out what to get him. The party was on a Saturday, she she could make it. He'd gotten her a real nice rifle for her birthday, she had to get something good for him. Thankfully, his tutor send her information on what Daniel did for his sports requirement. He liked fencing, swordsmanship with thin blades. The 'official' epee blade was a rapier that had specific specs, and Daniel so far was using the one at the fencing center. Jackie got two, she wanted to spar with him. She knew his size, so she got the protective suits and masks also. It wasn't cheap, but neither was that rifle he got her.
Rapiers were 'stab' weapons. While she waited for his birthday to come, she studied the sport of fencing. It was high energy with moving back and forth and quick thrusts. In Epee matches, any part of the body was a target and any part of the blade could touch (Touche) the opponent. She wanted to try it.
A couple weeks after Joan and her football buddies got home, John, Delilah and Jackie went up to celebrate Daniel's Birthday. Although the swords and the suits came in separate packages, Jackie had found a long cardboard box to put everything in so it was impossible to tell what the gift was. She also double wrapped the box in gift paper.
Knowing the Collins family liked finery, Delilah and Jackie wore nice dresses and stockings with their hair done up and of course high heels that Joan hated. John wore his suit. Under her dress, Jackie had shorts and a Tank top on.
Getting up to the Collins mansion, Jackie carried the long box inside. Mrs. Collins and Daniel met them at the door.
"Welcome, please come in," Mrs. Collins said formally.
"Jackie!" Daniel cried, beaming a smile at her.
"Daniel!" Jackie called back, smiling at him. "Where do the presents go?"
"Follow me," he said. Looking at the box, he asked, "What's that?"
Jackie sang, "You're gonna have to wait and see."
Going through the foyer into the sitting room, Jackie noticed several girls and few boys as well as many adults. all the girls eyed Jackie. She also note everyone had a cup on a saucer in their hands.
"Not a rifle, is it?" Daniel asked quietly.
Jackie chuckled. In a normal voice she said, "It could be a .50 caliber sniper rifle that can punch holes in anything, including small tanks and armored cars out to 1500 yards."
Daniel gaped at her. Jackie laughed at the gaping faces she received from the other girls. "I said, it could be. It could not be, also."
"Smart alleck," Daniel said with a crooked grin.
"Oh, but the way, I tested my rifle out to 400 yards. I can hit the soda can every time. Shake them up first, it's fun to watch then explode. Coke goes the best."
Daniel laughed. The other kids stared at her.
They came to the stack of presents on a table. Jackie had to move a few to get hers on. "Let's just say, I'm sure you'll like it. Mine's in there too, if you want to play."
"Yours?" he asked.
"Yup, that is, unless..." She glanced at the girls watching her. Maybe she shouldn't say 'unless you don't want to sick me with something long and hard.' That also would give away what was in the box. "I'll tell you after you open it."
Daniel eyed the box. "It's some kind of game?" he asked.
"Didn't say that. You'll have to wait and see," Jackie told him, then stuck her tongue out at him.
"Are you teasing me?" he asked.
Jackie shrugged and winked. She stumbled a bit and recovered.
"You OK?" Daniel asked.
Jackie nodded. "It's these heels, first time I've ever worn them. At least I'm doing better than Joan did."
"I take it she fell down on her first try?" Daniel asked.
Jackie giggled. "She kissed the hallway walls twice, then fell down the stairs. That was fun to watch."
"She didn't get hurt, I take it?"
"Naw, just a couple bruises. She did go to the prom and stayed upright the whole time!" Jackie cheered.
Daniel laughed. "He then asked, "Didn't feed that alligator cake again, did you?"
One of the girls, a curly blonde asked, "You fed an alligator cake?"
Jackie giggled. "Yeah, it was like feeding a dog peanut butter. It stuck in her mouth. She had to get down and go back in the lake to wash her mouth out."
"Get down?" a boy asked.
Daniel told him, "Jackie and Joan were feeding it at the table."
"Yeah, Dad told us don't ever do that again," Jackie said with a smirk.
"How big was this alligator?" the blonde asked.
"Bout nine feet, isn't she?" Daniel asked.
"Now quite, eight an a half the last time she was measured," Jackie told him.
"HOW did you get an alligator that big to sit at a table?" a boy asked.
"She didn't sit," Jackie told him. "Joan and I sat sideways and put her front feet in our laps."
"Her head was just above yours," Daniel said. "It was loud when she snapped her jaws shut."
"Yeah, your mom almost jumped out of her seat," Jackie said with a grin.
"Weren't you afraid of getting bit?" a girl asked wide eyed.
"She won't bite us," Jackie told her. "Strangers, yeah, but not us."
A boy chuckled. "You have a trained alligator?"
"Can't really call her trained," Jackie said. "It's more like adopted. Joan started feeding her, and she's been hanging around ever since. For a while, we fed her little ones too. They are kinda all over the lake now. We found they like to hitch rides in people's hair. Swim too close to them, and they grab your hair and hang on."
"If that happened to me, I'd be screaming my head off!" the blonde said.
"Jackie, did you bring your tail?" Daniel asked.
"No, there wasn't room for it."
"The mermaid tail?" a boy asked, perking up. "Daniel showed me pictures he has of you in that. You look great in it and you swim awesome! Daniel even has a picture of you swimming by that alligator. That thing is BIG."
"Thank you."
Other boys and a couple girls were interested, so Daniel took Jackie and them up to his room to see the pictures. The boys ogled over them, the girls only frowned and pretended to show no interest.
Daniel slid close to her and whispered, "Those girls are jealous of you."
Jackie giggled. "Sucks to be them."
The upstairs maid came in and announced it was time to open the presents. All the kids filed out. On their way down a by asked, "Jackie you don't mind swimming in a lake that has an alligator in it?"
Jackie chuckled, "That lake has more than one. We thought there was like ten, fifteen of them. When we did that pig hunt and drove the pigs towards the lake, there had to be at last 30 if them that came to get their share. We had no idea there was a 15 footer in the lake. He came out to grab a pig though."
The boy pointed to her with a smile and said, "Gator girl!"
His nickname for her was approved by the rest of the boys. Jackie also notices the girls only whispered to themselves. She also noticed the pack of boys was around her, not any of them.
.
They gathered in a big semi-circle with Daniel near the table to watch him open up their Birthday offerings. Daniel wanted to open Jackie's first, but his mother was also there to hand him the gift to open and tell him who it was from. He opened up a set of cuff links, a new watch, a fancy bathrobe, new shirts, four ties, everything around the big box. Daniel thanked each one aching to see what was in that box.
"Jackie, want to help me open it?" he asked.
"Nope, it was my job to put it together, it's yours to take it apart!" she said with a grin and stuck her tongue out at him.
Daniel pulled the wrapping off to find another layer of wrapping. He took that off to find a plan cardboard box. He looked at Jackie.
"Keep going," she coaxed.
Daniel got a knife and cut he tape holding the box together. He opened the top and pulled out another smaller box. A couple boys chuckled.
"Getting warm," Jackie told him.
He opened the small bow, inside was a fencing helmet. "Wow, thank you!"
"Keep going," Jackie told him.
He pulled out a bag that had a fencing uniform in it, another helmet, another uniform then a long thin box. "Wow!" Daniel said with shining eyes and he drew out the epee blade.
"Don't stop there," Jackie said.
Daniel dug out another long box with an epee blade in it. "This is two complete sets!" Daniel said happily.
"Yes, How else can we spar?' Jackie told him.
"Really? You'll come down and spar against me?" he asked.
"Yup! You'll have to show me how. All I ever used were broadswords, but the ones you use are really light, so I should pick it up pretty quick."
"You fence?" a boy asked her.
"Not like Daniel does, but me and Joan crossed blades quite a few times."
"You talking like the 5 pound sabers?"
"No 20 pound broadswords. But we held and used them like rapiers." Jackie replied.
"No way!"
"Yes way."
"Jackie's pretty strong, don't let her size fool you. She's quick too," Daniel told him.
"I can see that," another boy said. "That picture of her doing a tail stand in the lake like a porpoise, that had to take some serious leg muscles!"
"All right!" Another boy announced, "Who's for going down to the center and doing some fencing after the party?"
Daniel and Jackie raised their hands with a cheer. So did two other boys and one girl.
Sitting down to the lunch then cake and ice cream, the main talk was about their fencing matches after the party.
The boy Montgomery was confident he was going to beat everyone. Richard vowed to take up his challenge. The girl, Priscilla, was the top fencer in her club and sure she was the best. Everyone wanted to go see the action.
After the lunch was over, it was a mass migration out to the cars to join the fencing party. Daniel and Jackie carried the new equipment. Jackie checked the sizes to be sure they both had the right ones.
The only thing Jackie didn't thing about was shoes. When they arrived, then had to go rent two pairs. Jackie paid for them.
Going into the girls' locker room, it was only Jackie and Priscilla. As they changed, Priscilla asked, "Have you gotten a good point's score?"
"Point score?" Jackie asked.
"Against your opponent," Priscilla said with a tiny grin.
"Oh. Joan got three, I got four the only time we actually fought."
"In a match?" Priscilla asked. "Matches are five points."
Jackie laughed. "That wasn't a match, it was a battle. You got a point when your opponent was on the ground and no longer moving."
Priscilla stared at her. "You're lying,"
"Nope. And it wasn't with these flimsy things either. It was with real, hardened and sharp broadswords."
Priscilla scoffed. "We'll see how you do for real," she said.
Jackie went out on the floor, helmet tucked under her arm. A trainer/ referee was on the side beside Daniel. She went over to them.
"Oh, Daniel you're looking dangerous," she said casting him a wolfish grin.
"Ma'am, have you ever fenced before?" the man asked.
"With heavy blades, not with these thin ones."
"Fencing is very fast passed," he said, then explained the rules.
Jackie understood. "Epee rules, right?"
"That's right."
Jackie motioned to the strip. "Daniel shall we?"
They got in the middle, put their helmets on then saluted. Jackie held her blade in her left hand. Everyone was watching. she let Daniel take the first lunge. Retreating, she outpaced him. Stopped and deflected his blade. Daniel wasn't quick enough to retreat, she tagged his chest.
Jackie played more than seriously fenced with him. It was fairly obvious he wasn't used to a left handed sword opposing him. He wasn't bad, she let him get a couple points on her. She then got another point on him. By then, she could tell he was beginning to tire out.
"More stamina training," she told him as she parried his attempt and let him retreat, only teasing him with thrusts.
She had to all but stand still to let him get another point on her. She answered with a point of her own, then then him get his final point.
They stepped off the mat and removed their helmets. Daniel was sweating profusely.
"Good work, Daniel, but you do need to practice your leg maneuvers," Jackie told him.
Irritated at Jackie's claim she has used a sword in battle and downed 4 opponents, Priscilla stepped onto the mat. "Miss Bragger, want me to show you how it's done?"
Jackie grinned at her. "Please do."
This time when she stepped onto the mat, put her helmet on and saluted, Jackie wasn't playing. "Best out of three?" Jackie asked.
Priscilla nodded and poised to strike. Jackie took her pose.
Priscilla pressed Jackie hard, Jackie only parried and faked a thrust to see how far Priscilla leaped back. On Priscilla's third attempt, Jackie struck. She parried and jumped farther, fast at Priscilla and tagged her before Priscilla landed. Priscilla came on again, wary, waving her blade in small circles. Jackie ignored the blade and watched the other girl's legs. Priscilla stiffened to attack, Jackie thrust and tagged her high, then retreated fast. Priscilla stabbed at air. Jackie knocked her blade aside and jumped in again with a fast strike to her left boob, then jumped back.
"When are you going to start teaching me?" Jackie prodded.
A soft growl came from the other girl. She came forward again, slower and used fake jabbing thrusts at Jackie. The instant she was close enough, Jackie knocked her blade aside as she thrust low. Priscilla's blade whistled over her head. Jackie planted her blade in Priscilla's belly with a fast strike, then retreated.
"O come on, you said you were good," Jackie chided. "Are you just giving me a chance?"
Priscilla came on again, using slashing attempts as well as thrusts, as fast as she could move. Jackie retreated some and parried.
"Indigo Montoya, you are not!" Jackie announced. Timing the angry girl's moves, Jackie ducked under a thrust to rush close and get a shoulder hit. She moved to retreat then came in again. Priscilla wasn't expecting this and Jackie got her fifth point.
Priscilla threw her helmet off. "WHO ARE YOU? What is your rank? You are no beginner at fencing!"
Jackie shrugged. "With these thin things I am. I told you, I'm used to much heavier blades. I've done a lot of fencing, just not with these."
The boys watching chuckled. Priscilla snapped up her helmet and stomped away.
"Bye bye," Jackie said with a wave.
"You are better than what you let on," Montgomery told Jackie.
Jackie shrugged.
"Want to take a break or will you fence with me?" he asked.
"OK, one more," Jackie told him, and put her helmet back on. He stepped on and put his helmet on. They saluted.
This time, Jackie was wary, He was taller than her and had a longer reach. By his stance she guessed he was also pretty good.
This time, it was a flurry of blades, both of them constantly attacking and retreating. Jackie was faster, which saved her from a few touches, but she had trouble getting close enough to him to tag a strike. She'd duck on low and he'd jump and parry, then come back with a fast thrust she had to twist to avoid. She managed to tag his lower leg. It was a cheap shot, but it counted.
Montgomery was watching Jackie's moves closely also. She parried his blade to the side, he let it whip out and used the motion to come back and whack her wrist just before she struck. Again, a cheap shot, but it worked. They battled back and forth, each getting a point, then it was answered. at 4 to 4 Jackie lunged back and tossed her sword in the air to catch it in her right hand.
Montgomery paused.
"I am not left handed!" Jackie announced.
Jackie came in again, and her sword was a blur of motion. Already becoming tired from the long match, Montgomery had trouble tracking her blade or her arm. He barely escaped two strikes, then Jackie used her sword to spin around his, trapping it with motion. She flicked her sword up, his flew up, he was barely able to keep a hold of it. Jackie tagged him square mid chest, her fifth point.
Applause filled the air. Jackie backed up and bowed.
Montgomery bowed to her. He took his helmet off and asked, "You were fencing this whole time with your off hand?"
"Yes, I wanted it to last a while. I use my right hand, it's over too quickly," she replied.
Montgomery tipped his head back and roared in laughter. He put his blade and helmet on the floor and applauded her. "BRAVO! Miss Connor, BRAVO!"
With everyone clapping for her, Jackie made another bow. She then left the mat to see Daniel and let someone else have some fun.
"Can you teach me how to do that?" Daniel asked excitedly. "You were awesome!"
Jackie smiled at him. "I can show you some tricks to make you better, you do seriously need to work on your legs more, Daniel. Your best fast thrust will carry much more speed if your whole body is in it. For the moment, let's put our swords aside and focus on how to build muscle for footwork."
Jackie had fun teaching Daniel some exercises, Daniel had fun just being with Jackie. It was his best birthday ever.

JJ lay relaxing in the bath his head on the back edge of the tub, an arm around Peggy who was half lying on him. With the arm he had around her, his hand lay on her ribs just below her breasts. His other had petted slowly up and down her side as he gazed at her loveliness. Peggy's eyes were half closed in bliss, one had holding the one on his chest, the other idly petting his leg.
"This is so awesome," JJ said absently.
Peggy giggled and asked, "Taking a bath or petting me?"
"Both," he said and kissed her cheek.
In a purr, Peggy said, "Keep saying things like that, and we'll be trying to make a baby again."
"Here I thought we were just practicing," JJ said. "Practice does make perfect. Fun too!"
Peggy wore a contented smile. "I want to stay like this forever."
JJ tipped his head slightly. "If we do, we'll get all pruned up."
Peggy laughed. "Young parent's house is going to be finished tomorrow, they will be moving in during the week and next weekend. They can start farming right away, the sheriff gave them half the equipment and supplies."
"Sixty forty split with everything," JJ agreed. "The sheriff was strict about that. Good thing you didn't have a dog. I'd hate to see how he'd turn out."
"Like with the odd cow, sent to the butchers so the meat could be split?" Peggy asked.
"Naw," JJ said in a musing tone. "I was just wondering what a two-legged dog would look like. Bet he'd just run in circles."
Peggy laughed.
"You know soon, when your parents do start farming, we're going to be busy helping them," he said and stroked higher to brush his fingers over a nipple.
"Like those do you?" Peggy asked teasingly.
"Farming? No, it's just something we'll have to do."
"Not farming, my nips!"
"No, no one's farming your nips," he told her evenly. "Graze maybe, but no harvesting!"
Giggling, Peggy turned on her side and kissed him. "You're silly." As they gazed at each other, their faces softened and they kissed again, and again longer. Peggy relished their time together, for it wasn't long before they were going to have much work to do.

John and Cameron were cuddled in a lounger on the front porch. John let out a sigh and said, "If she does this, then it will throw all the archeological people into a chaotic fit. I mean like all over the world."
"It will," Cameron agreed. "It is agreed she cannot tell them or even hint at the Mer's location. That is why she is sending the DNA profiles she made. the DNA samples and pictures she has to DNA lab in Boston, Oxford in England, and DNA international in Florida. She's also sending them from Austin, not locally. She's using the prepaid cell phone I gave her as her point of contact. She's not announcing what she 'found', she's going to let them do it."
"We better get some of those terminators for border guards." John said in a huff.
"John, everyone does deserve to know the truth," Cameron told him.
John frowned. "Then we need more of these people looking for bones to tell the truth."
"They won't, they only try to support the current theory that all humans came from apes."
"That's why this is dangerous," John stated.
