Chapter 32

"Wait a second, Will there's no way…Jay only saw April for a few minutes yesterday, in full PPE", Hailey said trying to connect the timeline in her head.

Will looked at her with a guilty stare. "Jay and I had coffee last week. I hadn't seen him in so long…I just needed someone to talk to…We hugged…. I was so stressed…"

Hailey bit her lip. "It's alright Will. Okay well we still don't know for sure. If you and April had contact with one another though…"

"We have", Will said shaking his head. "I've been so careful…but it's been so hard Hailey", he held his head in his hands.

"I know", Hailey came over to sit on the edge of the bed next to him, and he instantly flinched away from her, trying not to touch her.

"Will it's alright. It's too late. I sleep in the same bed as Jay. If he has it, I have it too", she said softly. It was obvious that Will was so used to not touching anyone, the deep sigh and relaxation that came when their shoulders touched, it was obvious that he was craving physical connection.

He looked up at her, that admission causing a small to creep across his face, hiding the tears of guilt and stress that were building up behind his eyes.

"Yes, you heard correctly. That was me fully admitting it. I know you know, but this is my official confession. Jay and I are dating. I love your brother", Hailey said smirking, putting it all out there.

"Well it's about time", Will nudged her in a congratulatory way. He was going to tease her about something else, but he saw the blush in her cheeks and the nervous half bite of her lip as she told him she loved his brother.

"And I know you do. He loves you too, that much is abundantly clear and has been for quite some time", Will replied, earning a smile from Hailey.

"Thank you Will", she said.

"But back to business…", Hailey trailed off.

"Right. Well, we'll keep an eye on Jay for now", Will replied.

"Should we tell him? That it might be covid?" She said nervously.

"No, not yet", Will said back instantaneously. "It's only going to freak him out. He hates being sick as is, that's only going to make his anxiety worse."

"Okay", Hailey let out a deep breath. "Unless he gets worse, we're just going to play this off as a regular cold/flu type deal."

"Yes. Well at least let him get some sleep first before telling him, and maybe make some more soup, make him feel special", Will joked, referencing their inside joke that Jay could never get over.

Hailey laughed at that. "Right, good thinking. Are you feeling okay?" She stared at him curiously, wondering how Will could be fine and Jay was so sick.

"I don't feel great…", he backpedaled as Hailey reached up quickly to check his forehead.

"My side hurts I mean. Just overall not feeling great from surgery still", he corrected himself and smiled at her attentiveness.

"Oh, okay good. Well, not good. But better than the virus I guess", Hailey also stumbling and correcting herself.

Will laughed. "It's okay Hailey take a breath. I'm fine, Jay's going to be fine. You're feeling okay too?" He eyed her for any quick lies she was about to tell him.

She nodded, "I'm good."

"Okay. Is Jay sleeping?"

"He was when I left him", she replied.

"Don't wake him if he's resting, but when he is awake, try and get some Tylenol into him and make sure he's drinking a lot of water", Will instructed.

Hailey nodded, "Got it. I'm going to start making fresh soup too. You want some?"

Will grinned, "Of course. That might help my nausea. Tell Jay it's for him though", giving her a wink as she laughed and left his room.

Hailey snuck downstairs, hearing Jay's soft snores before she saw him. He was still fast asleep on the couch. She smiled, he looked so cute all tucked in under the blankets. She almost went over to kiss him on the cheek but resisted because she knew she would wake him up instantly if she did.

Instead, she quietly snuck into the kitchen and started cooking with whatever she had in her fridge and pantry. She was going to have to call Kim or someone to do a grocery run for them eventually. Even if Jay wasn't sick with covid, Will still got that alert from April and would have to self-isolate for 14 days anyways. She was mentally preparing herself to be locked in this house for that long. After some careful thought, she realized being locked in with the Halstead's wasn't too bad, there were worse places she could be.

Suddenly, as the soup was simmering, she had a panic thought. What did Will do with Kohl? How could she forget about that sweet pup that lived with them for a while back in the spring? She ran upstairs and knocked quietly on Will's door.

"Mmm?" He opened his eyes slowly as the door creaked open.

"Where is Kohl?" She asked in a panic, Will laughed.

"Oh, now you realize. I'm going to tell Kohl you forgot about him, he's going to be offended."

Hailey laughed and rolled her eyes. "I take it you've made other arrangements."

"My neighbour across the hall in my building actually offered to take him for me for a while a few days ago. Noticed I was having a hard time, and just with my schedule and stuff…", Will forced a smile, but Hailey saw the sadness.

"That's nice of them. You know you can have Kohl here, anytime right?" She replied, realizing they had been pretty busy as of late and hadn't checked up on how Will was doing as much as they should have.

"I know, thank you Hails. You guys have had a lot on your plate too lately." Jay had filled him in last week.

She shrugged and nodded. "Hey, do you think we need to tell our unit that Jay's sick?" It dawned on Hailey that Voight and Platt weren't exactly in the not vulnerable category for this.

Will hesitated, "Probably. What day is it again?"

"It's Monday."

"And I had coffee with Jay on Thursday morning."

"Right. So… what did Jay and I do on Thursday…", Hailey was thinking out loud, trying to remember everyone they had been in contact with.

"Jay was in court all day. He wore a mask there, and social distanced though. So that should be okay right?"

"In theory, yes", Will replied.

"I didn't see Jay until Thursday night when he got home from work. Friday, we woke up, got coffee from our favourite place around the corner, also in masks. Went into the district… I don't think got too close to anyone. We've only been unmasked with each other", Hailey concluded, trying to do her own contact tracing.

"You're sure about that?" He asked.

"Yes, positive."

"Well that's good. I think it may be a good idea to monitor Jay and see if his symptoms progress. If they do, we'll get tested. If they don't, we can isolate here, and hope for the best in the next few days", Will reasoned clinically.

"Alright. So, if you gave it to Jay…and I've been with Jay this whole time, why aren't you or I sick?"

Will shook his head, shrugging his shoulders. This was the most frustrating and infuriating part for him. There was so much they didn't know about this virus still; the transmission patterns and the wide presentation and severity of symptoms didn't make sense to him or anyone else in the scientific and medical community really.

"Hailey, I've been thinking about this a lot, and to be quite honest with you I think I've already had it. And I think you have too."

She looked at him confused, then remembering her time in New York.

"Huh", she replied as he explained his theory to her. "I tested negative for covid though, before I got on that flight back to Chicago."

"That's true. But at that time, things with testing were still a mess. There were a lot of false negatives and just overall mayhem."

She didn't really consider that up until now. She just assumed negative test, meant that she never had it while she was in New York. She was pretty sick that last week she was there, as was the rest of the FBI unit she was with.

"I just had cold symptoms though, no fever or cough", she said.

"But…", she started again.

Will looked at her, wanting her to finish her sentence.

"My partner OA, he had it pretty bad. We just assumed it was the flu. He was achy and had a really high fever. I had to drive him home the one day, he could barely keep his eyes open."

Will raised his eyebrows, waiting for Hailey to put the pieces together.

"Okay. So, hypothetically if I did have it back when I was in New York and this whole pandemic was kicking off…what about you then? How come you aren't sick? If you gave it to Jay, you would have been showing symptoms by now too, right?"

"You're right. When I had the flu at the end of February…I'm actually pretty sure that was covid, I just didn't know it at the time. I've never been that sick in my life, and I have picked up some nasty things from the ED over the years. Well it was either when I had the flu or at some point or another, I caught it at work and was asymptomatic. Hard to say for sure. I get tested at work now and again, and recent bloodwork did show that I have covid antibodies."

"Why didn't you say anything? Will we could have seen you this whole time if you're immune?" Hailey asked confused, remembering how hard it was to watch him send Kohl off, to not hug them, feel the impacts of the loneliness and the isolation during these last few months. She knew this was wearing heavily on him. Will wasn't like Jay, he was a hugger, a people person. This was hard for him, and hard for everyone.

"Just because I have immunity, doesn't mean I can't still be a carrier and pass it along. I would never forgive myself if I gave it to you guys…but then I guess here we are. That didn't work anyways huh? I slipped up with Jay one time and look what it's done", Will bit his lip, fighting back a few tears.

"Don't do that Will, you can't blame yourself. We work on the front lines too. We know it's a risk. It's going to be okay. Jay is young and healthy, he's going to get through this just fine, okay? I've taken care of him before, I'll do it again" Hailey said reassuring him.

"I know", he whispered softly, looking up at Hailey. "I need to get out of this bed and walk around a little bit", he said changing the subject before he got too emotional.

"Of course. Do you need help?" She asked, not really sure what she would be helping with, but knowing Will he would tell her.

"I should be okay. Sitting back down hurts the most actually, so maybe getting back into bed", he admitted sheepishly.

"You got it. I'm going to quickly go check on the soup, be back in a few minutes", Will gave her a thumbs up as he gingerly made his way out of bed to take a leisurely stroll down the hallway to the bathroom to change his own dressing and back.

By the time Hailey came back upstairs Will was just coming out of the bathroom with his toothbrush in hand.

"Good?" Hailey asked as she followed closely behind. Jay was still fast asleep, and Will did just have surgery after all. She needed to make sure he was okay too.

He nodded, breathing slightly heavier than normal, trying to mask the pain he was in.

"Lucky for you, I know the I'm fine, signature Halstead pain look, too well actually", she said, giving him a knowing stare.

"Is it that obvious?" Will half laughed, half grimaced.

"Yes. You both do this thing where you crinkle your eyebrows and try to play it off as a squint or a yawn", Hailey said mimicking the look.

That made Will laugh a little harder, holding his side afterwards.

"Alright, alright. I know I'm a comedian, but you're going to pop stitches if you keep laughing like that", Hailey said as she walked through the doorway with him.

He let out a long sigh and paused, taking a few deep breaths trying to calm himself down.

"Your incisions okay?" She looked him over.

"Mhmm, I just cleaned them and changed the dressing. Hurts a little", Will explained.

"I see. Hey Will?" Hailey stepped away from him so they could pass through the doorway.

"Yeah?"

Before he could respond, Hailey stepped in front of him and gently wrapped her arms around him.

"We can hug again right?" Hailey asked curiously, a small smile appearing on Will's face.

He just nodded, so craving human connection. It was the main thing he had been missing.

At first the hug was rigid and unfamiliar, almost as if he forgot how to do it. Then after a few breaths she felt him relax a little, his breathing even out. He was taller than her, and just a little bit taller than Jay, so she barely came up to his chest. They stood there for a minute, the embrace causing a rush of endorphins for both of them. Will suddenly didn't hurt as much as before.

"Thank you, Hailey", he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion.

"No, thank you, Will", she rubbed his back as she let him go, and helped him slowly lower down into bed.

"Have some soup okay, and take more pain meds", she said nodding to the bedside table, a variety of goodies laid out on top.

He thanked her again, she turned the TV on for him and helped him get into a comfortable position. "These will make me sleep soon, you should go check on Jay."

No sooner did Will say that did they hear loud coughing from downstairs.

"That's my cue", Hailey smiled, and Will wished her luck.

The rest of the way down the stairs she kept thinking that if she had a sister, she would set her up with Will, because Will deserved the world.

There was no doubt that Jay was really sick. If it wasn't covid, this was definitely a terrible bug that he had. She had never seen him this sick before.

He had spent the rest of the day asleep on the couch, Hailey thought about waking him up so that he could move to bed. But Jay wasn't having any of it and kept telling her he couldn't walk that far anyways. That concerned her, her house wasn't exactly huge, a walk upstairs was nothing.

So, she did what she could and kept an eye on him, making sure he took medicine every once in a while. The next morning, she crept downstairs, heading straight for Jay.

"AACHOOO", Jay weakly sat up on the couch, eyes watery and nose runny. He was so congested he thought he might die.

"Here, have some medicine", Hailey sat on the edge of the couch, handing him some more cough syrup.

"Will this knock be out?" Jay asked while heavily mouth breathing.

"It should. You need to get some sleep you were up half the night", Hailey reminded him.

"Sorry", he said sheepishly, knowing that he kept her up too with his coughing and sneezing, even though he was on the couch.

"It's alright Jay, you're sick", she said gently, as she put a hand on his forehead again.

"You don't feel like you have a fever, that's good", she said optimistically.

"Feel like garbage", he replied in as few words as possible.

"I know. That sucks, I'm sorry", she said while rubbing his back.

"You should go, don't want to get you sick too", Jay said as he blew his nose again.

"I think it's too late for that", Hailey reasoned, trying everything to make him feel better.

He shrugged his shoulders, knowing she was right. "Work?"

Hailey knew what he was asking. "I called Voight yesterday when you woke up sick. Explained that Will needed someone to take care of him and you were out of commission."

Jay studied her face, even half out of it he knew something was up. "What are you dot telling be?"

She knew she couldn't lie to him, "Since you technically have covid symptoms, we have to stay here until we're all clear."

Suddenly it dawned on Jay, why Hailey had been tip toeing around him since he got sick.

"Do you think I have it?" He whispered.

She shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe. Will got a notification from work…he's been exposed. So, it's likely we have too."

Jay's eyes went wide, he was instantly thinking of all the people he had seen in the last week.

"It's alright, I've already done the math. You've only seen me unmasked. And I'm fine. So is Will. Will thinks I might have had it in New York already, and he has antibodies meaning he's had it or been exposed at some point too. That's why we aren't sick."

"Makes sense. What do we do?" He asked, breathing harder, she could tell whatever he had was in his chest now.

"Stay put. Keep an eye on you… Will's been in touch with public health. We're going to quarantine for 2 weeks. If you get worse, you'll have to go to the hospital, but chances are that's not going to happen okay?"

For the first time in a long time, Hailey saw fear in Jay's eyes.

He nodded, just taking it all in. "Okay."

"I'm so sorry about Vanessa Hailey, I shouldn't have kept it from you", he managed to get out slowly.

She nodded, forgetting that she was even mad at him in the first place.

"I understand Jay. It's okay."

"We're good?" He asked.

"We're always going to be good", she jokingly used his own line on him.

He smirked at that, curling up to Hailey as she laid down next to him on the couch and pulled a blanket over his shoulder.

"Jay, I have to tell you something", Hailey blurted out.

"Hmm?" He asked without looking up at her, he didn't have the energy.

"The FBI offered me a job", she said bluntly.

That caused Jay to turn his head and look her in the eyes, seeing the fear wash over his face again.

"I'm not taking it though. I just wanted you to hear it from me."

"I knew they'd want you. I'm glad you're not leaving. But if you wanted to, know that I would go with you", he nuzzled in closer to her, his body heat keeping her warm as he rested his head on her chest.

"I know you would", she kissed the side of his forehead and rubbed his back until he drifted off attempting to nap.

Several hours later, Hailey had texted Kim, briefly explaining their situation. Before she knew it, she had an incoming FaceTime call.

"Hey", she said quietly, knowing Jay wasn't totally asleep, but trying not to be too loud either because he was trying to rest.

"Hey yourself, are you guys okay? Voight filled us in…", Kim said, she was clearly at work. After realizing the position Hailey and Jay were lying in, she tried to shield her phone from the curious eyes of their co-workers.

"Will and I are alright, Jay is so sick Kim…", Hailey admitted.

Kim could see his rosy cheeks peeking out of the blanket he was wrapped up in.

"He looks it", she replied sympathetically, Hailey nodded, sticking a thermometer in his mouth at the same time.

"Fever?" Kim asked, Kevin and Adam joining her in the frame.

"Of a 102", Hailey confirmed, taking the thermometer out of his mouth and setting it down next to her. She had been checking him so frequently, she probably could have guessed the exact number just by feeling his forehead at this point.

"Oh Jay", Kim said concerned.

"I'm alright", he said clearing his throat, opening his glossy eyes to see Kevin and Adam also staring back at him.

"You look like hell Jay", Kevin replied.

"But it looks like you have a cute nurse anyways", Adam said winking, Kim nudging him, staring back at Voight's office door.

"What?! Everyone knows already Kim. Voight included", Adam said rolling his eyes.

Hailey chuckled at that, although what Adam said was true, they still haven't made a formal announcement at work about their relationship. Guess their quarantine situation was about to do it for them.

In perfect timing, Voight walked into the frame, to see Jay shirtless, sprawled out over top of Hailey on the couch.

"Hey Sarge", Hailey said nonchalantly. Jay's eyes went wide, even half out of it realizing they've been caught red-handed.

"Upton, Halstead. I see you're going with a more traditional method to bring Jay's fever down", referring to his lack of clothing.

Hailey bit her lip trying not to laugh, as were her co-workers in the background. Kim was holding the phone for Voight, who still had no idea how to work FaceTime.

"As little clothing as possible is what I've heard is best Sarge", Kim said egging them on.

"Yes, something like that", Hailey replied.

"Worse than when you had strep in the spring Jay? You were pretty sick then", Kim remembered.

"Way worse", Jay mumbled weakly with his eyes closed, not even caring that the entire unit was seeing him shirtless and vulnerable lying on top of his girlfriend.

"Huh, well I hope you're both doing okay. Take all the time you need. Send our love to Will too", Voight said genuinely.

"Will do. We're alright. This will pass Jay", she said softly as she ran her thumb over the back of his head.

Kim was melting. They were so good together it hurt.

"Until then, do you need anything?" She asked.

"Umm, maybe some food, and medicine to be honest. Wasn't expecting this, I haven't been shopping this week", she replied.

"Alright, it's okay we've got you guys. We'll pick some groceries and things up for you and drop them off on your porch tomorrow", Adam yelled on the speakerphone.

"That would be a lifesaver thank you", Hailey replied, and Jay gave a half-ass thumbs up.

"Hailey with her boys. What an ideal quaran-team", Kim teased.

She rolled her eyes, "It's going to be a long two weeks if this is what I'm in for." Jay had already fallen back asleep again and started snoring.

"I knew he wasn't perfect, Jay Halstead, a snorer", Adam said with satisfaction.

"You snore too", Kim poked back.

Adam faked shock, "Only when I'm sick!" Kim raised her eyebrows at the obvious conclusion Adam had just walked himself into.

"Okay, okay, fair enough. Jay is still the perfect specimen", he agreed after re-evaluating the situation they were in.

"That's what I thought. Okay we'll let you go, hopefully Jay's feeling better next time we chat", Kim signed off, Hailey thanking her for their help later on.

Hailey had fallen asleep herself at some point, waking up to the sound of Will's voice.

"Hails, Hails", he rubbed her shoulder.

"What's wrong?" She immediately became alert.

"Jay's breathing sounds really bad, I could hear his wheezing upstairs", Will's face was scrunched up in concern as he put one hand on Jay's forehead and one on Hailey's.

"I'm fine Will", she said.

"I know I'm just checking. This can come on fast, and people deteriorate really quickly", Will said nervously, every single covid patient he's treated in the last few months coming across his mind. Hailey picked up on his nerves, it was out of character.

"His fever seems to be breaking anyways. Did you give him anything?"

"Yeah some more Tylenol a few hours ago", she confirmed.

"Okay good. He needs to try and move around a bit. I know he's tired but getting up is actually good for this."

"Jay…Jay…", Will rubbed his back slowly. It took a minute, but he eventually came to on his own.

"How are you feeling?" Will asked, still unable to crouch down.

Jay shook his head. "Not good."

"I know man. You have to get up alright, we're going to help you up to Hailey's room. You need a bed."

"I'm fine here", Jay protested.

"Trust me, your back will thank you for this later", Will wasn't taking no for an answer.

Jay reluctantly sat up on the couch, running his hands over his face. Hailey laughed; the lines of her sweater were deeply imprinted into Jay's cheek.

"The sign of a good sleep", she said rubbing her thumb over his cheek.

He managed a smile, even moving his facial muscles caused him extreme fatigue.

They quickly got him upstairs, he did a few laps of the hallway to appease Will and was out of breath by the time he got to Hailey's room.

He went straight to bed again, Hailey leaving to get them something to eat, her growling stomach reminding her she hadn't eaten much today.

Her and Will had some dinner before bringing Jay up some soup this time. He had a few bites and then turned it away, saying he didn't have an appetite.

They left him alone for a while, Hailey returning to the kitchen only to find Will doing some dishes she left in the sink.

"William Patrick, leave those. You just had surgery!" She scolded him.

"On my appendix, not my arms Hailey", he laughed.

"Still. You're supposed to be resting too", she replied.

"I'll be fine, picking up a few plates won't pop my stitches. You go lay down with Jay. He seems more rested when you're there."

She couldn't argue there, he did sleep most of the day, something he never did.

Hailey went upstairs and got the diffuser going in her room, hoping the peppermint would ease some of Jay's congestion. She sat there with the TV on low, making sure Jay's chest was moving every so often.

His breathing was sounding more laboured as the night went on. He was wheezing too. He wasn't really waking up that much, which Hailey wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. Usually he was restless on a good night, maybe his body was just so exhausted that he was out cold. What worried her was how sluggish and cognitively out of it he seemed when he was awake.

Will had come in to say good night, and made Hailey promise to wake him up if she needed a break.

"Go sleep Will, we're fine. Not my first sleepless night making sure your brother is still breathing", she reminded him.

"I hate that that's true, but true…Night", Will left and shut the door.

Hailey woke up in a panic the next morning, somehow, they had both slept through the night. Jay looked paler than she had ever seen him though, his cough was rattling in his chest now.

He was half sitting up in bed, Hailey supporting his back, with one hand on his shaky arm.

"Jay", she said gently, rubbing his back, waiting for him to finish coughing so she could hand him some water.

"This is…horrible Hail", he continued to cough.

"I know babe", she whispered, feeling helpless in all of this.

He leaned back against the pillows, whimpering, holding his side. Hailey thought she saw a tear roll down his cheek too.

"He sounds worse", Hailey jumped as she heard Will's voice in the doorway.

"I know. He's holding his ribs, the ones he broke, do you think he's coughed so hard that he popped one out?"

Jay shook his head, his chest rattling as he tried to get out a word.

"Lacrosse", he whispered faintly.

"Lacrosse?" Hailey looked at him then looked at Will confused.

"Mhmm" he confirmed, while holding his side, moaning in pain.

Hailey had no idea what he was talking about, so she leaned over and checked his forehead, wondering if he had spiked a fever again and was talking nonsense.

A lightbulb went off for Will. "Ahh, he used to play lacrosse in high school. Out of all the injuries he's ever had, and there's been a lot between the Rangers and CPD…one of the few nagging, and most painful ones is a rib he dislocated in the eleventh grade."

Hailey loved hearing about Jay's past. She wondered if they would have been friends in high school. "Gotcha."

"Down by 1, five minutes left in the conference finals. Got hit from behind right at the net by Benny Martin. Real bad", Jay managed to say after he caught his breath.

"You still remember all the details?" Will shook his head.

"How could I forget. I couldn't sleep lying down for a week it hurt so bad, I thought one of my lungs collapsed. Found out later on through the Rangers that was NOT what a collapsed lung felt like… equally as terrible. One slightly more life threatening than the other. Still painful to this day though", he held his side trying to take deep breaths and wait for the pain to subside.

"Lacrosse huh, that's why you have such good hands", Hailey winked seductively.

"I'll practice for you later", Jay winked back, then suddenly becoming embarrassed. His ears going red, dirty talking in front of his brother.

Will just stared at them, relishing in the fact that his brother just slipped up in front of him. Jay was the most emotionally guarded person he knew. Hailey was slowly but surely breaking his walls down.

"ANYWAYS you two", Will laughed awkwardly. "Jay your cold sounds better, but that cough seems worse."

"Agreed. My body hurts", Jay admitting he was in pain was also a red flag for Will.

"Just have to let it run its course unfortunately. Good news is that by now if things were going to head really south…they would have."

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Jay said sarcastically.

"Glad to see your attitude is still at peak performance", Will sassed back.

"Sorry. I'm just annoyed. I don't feel good", Jay apologized.

"I know you don't. But we're doing the best we can. Adam and Kim should be dropping by with food and other supplies and medicine soon…in about an hour or so", Hailey checked her watch.

Jay nodded, closing his eyes, he could hold out another hour.

A few hours later, Hailey was sitting watching TV with Will while Jay slept upstairs. She felt that familiar feeling that something just wasn't right.

"Have you heard from Adam and Kim? We're out of Tylenol now, Jay's going to need some more when he wakes up", Will said, sensing that something was off too.

"Not yet. They might have caught a case or something, lost track of time", she reasoned, although it was super out of character for Kim to be even ten minutes late to anything she committed to.

It wasn't until 30 minutes later or so that Hailey was getting antsy. She texted Kevin as well, and nothing. It wasn't like any of them to be totally disconnected from their phones. She was about to throw in the towel and call Platt when she heard her phone ping, a message from Kim flashing on her screen.

She let out a sigh of relief, telling herself that she was being ridiculous for worrying. They were at work after all, something must have come up.

As she opened the text from Kim, it turns out something did come up, and it wasn't good.

Adam's been shot, at Med now.
