Number one: Lay the trap

Boa and Kajuri looked at the wrecked insides of the shed. Trash and ruined bey parts were scattered everywhere. It was awful.

"What the hell do we do now?" Kajuri cursed, still digging through the stuff, looking for that one specific Legend Spryzen.

"I don't know." Boa whispered, clenching his fists in shame, "How could we have messed up like this? We didn't even leave someone behind! It was meant to be a day trip!"

Kajuri huffed, getting up and starting to pace nervously, "Come on, we need to think. What would he do if he was free?"

"Go back to the snake pit?" Boa asked

"Probably. Maybe not, though." Kajuri shot down, "No, he's a famous blader, right? We hunt him down on social media."

Valt paced in front of Wakiya, Rantarou and Cuza in the crowd of paparazzi waiting for the contestants outside El Astro, "Come on! Where is she? She's supposed to be here!"

Wakiya growled, "Calm down, idiot! She's not due for an hour or so! You should know this, we went over the plan multiple times!"

"What plan?" Valt and Cuza asked at the same time. Wakiya faceplanted into the ground.

"Are you serious?!" He screeched when he righted himself, "Were you not listening? The plan is to wait outside Felicity's exit from the stadium, and ambush her on her way out!"

"That's not much of a plan, but alright." Cuza nodded.

"But what if she runs?" Valt asked

"We'll be covering all the exits of the building. No way she'll be able to outrun us!" Rantarou reassured him.

There was a sudden cheer and cameras started flashing wildly as reporters scrambled to take pictures. Valt and the gang craned their necks to see who it was, and they were met with Jade Eye. Except she had taken off her mask, exchanging them for shades instead. With her hair up in a ponytail and a small braid, it was obvious who this was.

"... Felicity?"

Number two: Pick up the pieces

Spryzen walked away from another successful destruction. His little form had been awkward before. The voices too loud and annoying for his refined influence to spread. He had needed master to isolate his piece for him, give him more room to grow. Before, he had needed the energy of the rest of his form, but now, he no longer needed that crutch, and could be switched into any bey.

He waited and waited, until the two fools left the country with them unattended. And that was when he struck.

"Spryzen, how much longer?" Master asked, his voice hoarse and tired.

Spryzen considered this. On one hand, he wanted to destroy every single bey. That would show them all who was really the most powerful. No underdog could take his spot. But on the other hand, he wanted to fulfill his master's wishes.

"Alright, Master. We'll deal with Shirosagi now." He promised.

Felicity was still confined in her cocoon of darkness. She could see flashes of the outside world, and had to assume that she was in a press conference. She blocked out all sight into the outside world when she caught sight of a boy with blue hair held straight up with a hair band. She couldn't deal with this. Not now.

A sudden hush fell over the place, and she had to assume they had gone to a different room. A private one. She didn't know how long she had been in that place, but long enough for it to feel like an eternity.

And then there were flashing lights as the environment around her lit up to simulate what might have been happened outside.

And then the announcer yelled out, his voice distant and oddly muffled, "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! To the first round of the Ultimo Seis competition!"

Ah, right. The competition. That's where she was.

Suddenly, demonic her materialized in front of her. She smiled tightly at Felicity, "Showtime."

Number three: Stalk your prey

Boa sorted through the mess, picking up the decoy Beys and putting them back in their case. He picked up one and looked at it closely, suspiciously for a few seconds, before Kajuri called out, "Hey! We got something!"

He immediately put the bey aside, rushing over to Kajuri's monitor, "What is it?"

"Just watch." Kajuri shushed him and clicked play on the video, "This has gone viral recently."

It was a boy standing in the middle of a field with grimy white hair. He had on Red Eye's uniform and black sunglasses with red accents. Paint of some sort seemed to reach out from his right eye, stretching over his face in a gruesome spiderweb pattern.

"I am Red Eye." He announced, "And this is a challenge for Lui Shirosagi to meet me here at noon tomorrow so I can defeat him in a bey battle. Come on, Lui! Face me!"

Boa laughed, relieved, "We found him."

"Match goes to Felicity Comas with 4-0!" The referee announced, as the stadium erupted into cheers.

Valt started chewing on his nails as Felicity walked off.

"I still can't believe she's Mirror Eye." Rantarou whispered.

"We need to get to the bottom of this." Wakiya muttered, "What's the schedule for this competition?"

"First round will be today. Second round will follow after a short recess today as well." Cuza supplied, "Then tonight will be the finals."

Rantarou let out a shaky breath, "Alright. We got this. We got time. We just... Need a second opinion. Who should we ask?"

There were a couple seconds of silence before Cuza, Valt and Rantarou both whispered in unison, "Old Man Raul!"

They sat through the first round impatiently, and Valt was off like a shot the second the recess started. Running like crazy to Old Man Raul.

He found him in his workshop, tinkering away as he burst in, "Old Man, we need your help!"

He let out a dry, humorless chuckle, "I was wondering when you would show up."

Number four: Be Prepared

Spryzen stalked out of the motel, steadfastly ignoring the curious looks he got from the others. There were a lot of flamboyantly overdressed people walking around, this was an anime after all.

He had planned this for weeks. Every domino was in place. Master would win this time. He guaranteed it.

He did not have any other living arrangements for the next one and a half day. It was worthless. He fully intended to wait the entire two days away at that stadium, waiting for that coward to show up. He ran laps that entire day, working out for a last minute training session. Master would not lose to Lui Shirosagi this time. There was no way. Not when he had Spryzen.

It just wasn't possible.

Mirror Eye sat on the bench in her private room. Her bottle of water almost untouched. Her right hand hurt a little, throbbed, actually, as she tried to center herself. Just a little longer, Felicity, she tried to reason. I'll make all your problems go away.

She waited for a response, but instead, she was broken out of her thoughts by a knock on the door, "What?" She snapped, irritable.

"Recess is over." The voice gruffly answered, "You're up next."

She immediately pulled herself up, grabbing Falcon as she passed, then tucking her launcher into her pocket. She pressed a button to let the door slide open. The guy on the other side sneered and started walking away. Mirror Eye remained stony faced and marched towards the door that led straight to the arena.

From the other side, she could hear the announcer, "And now we have, the one, the only, Felicity Comas!"

The stadium exploded into cheers as Mirror Eye strutted in. It always struck her as odd how no one noticed she was not really Felicity. I mean, someone should have noticed. She wasn't trying that hard.

Opposite her stood a boy with turquoise hair and magenta irises, his mouth covered with a mask. The announcer yelled out, "And facing off against her, we have the man of no words, who let's his actions speak for themselves, Ferdinand Puragris, everyone!"

They exchanged their Beys, examined them, then handed them back. They took there positions, and Mirror Eye discarded any thoughts and distractions. She had one job; destroy.

Number Five: Look em in the eye

Boa paced feverishly in the greenhouse, as Kajuri typed on his laptop like a madman, "What do you mean we can't get there in time?!" He screeched.

"Exactly what I said, Boa!" Kajuri shot back, "The fact of the matter is that we just can't get on a plane to Europe at such short notice. We're stuck here."

Boa groaned, "That's so unfair! Where else will we be able to track him down?"

Kajuri rubbed his temples, "I don't know, dude. But I might have another idea."

Boa grinned manically, the lack of sleep seemed to be getting to him, "Well, why didn't you say so to begin with?"

Kajuri rolled his eyes, "I was trying too... But you know what? I'm not even gonna argue about this. The place where this stupid match is taking place has been confirmed to be in Europe. The Netherlands, actually. Guess who lives in Europe and can easily get there?"

Boa's eyes lit up, "Daigo!"

"Right in one." Kajuri grinned, "I've tried contacting him, but he hasn't been replying. Pretty sure he's asleep though. Time difference and all."

And the light went out of Boa's eyes, "OH COME ON!"

Valt sat down, looking at the hot chocolate in his hands as Old Man Raul bustled around, working on different projects. "I still don't get it." He repeated again, "How did you know we would come to you for help?"

"Grandparent's intuition." He guffawed.

Valt pouted, and sulked in a corner.

After Valt had dashed over to the club workshop to ask him for help during recess, he had rushed back to watch the two rounds and then take his friend's back to the workshop, while people outside celebrated and took interviews of all the contestants.

"So do you know what to do?" Rantarou asked.

Raul nodded gravely, "I have a small notion. I believe you need to break the bey."

Cuza blinked, "Wait, really? Oh, that sounds hard."

Rantarou nodded, "What he said! I mean, do you think she ever leaves that thing alone?"

Wakiya sighed, "As much as I hate to admit it, Rantarou is right. If this is really her one weak spot, she'd never let it out of her sight."

"Probably not." Raul contemplated, "But it's worth a shot."

"Really?" Valt asked, finally, "So you do have a plan?"

Raul had a private chuckle, "Well, it's an idea I got from a recent mishap of mine, and I have reason to believe that a switcheroo will be the perfect idea."

Number six: Lie in Wait

Daigo received the call early in the morning.

He had been out for his morning run, and came back sweaty, so he hit the shower. When he came out, his voicemail was flooded by frantic calls.

"What the... hell?" He wondered, before exasperatedly calling them back, "Hey, guys listen, whatever it is. I'm sure it isn't that urgent for you to utterly lose it when I don't pick up at the first ring. I know you guys are probably stressed and all, with Red Eye's disappearance, but..."

He was cut off by Boa, "We found him!"

He paused, "... What? Found who?"

"We found Red Eye!" Boa excitedly yelled in his ear, making Daigo pull the phone away.

"Really?" He asked when he managed to process it, "You did?"

"Well, kinda..." Boa shrugged, "We know exactly where he's gonna be on June 6, which is tomorrow. We don't know where he's gonna go after that, or how long he'll stay there. We just know he'll be there at noon."

Daigo blinked, "So you were so excited about this you decided to spam my voicemail?"

"Uh, no." Boa responded, "See, he's gonna be in the Netherlands. And we can't exactly fly over there in a day, so we need you to go for us."

"Dude." Daigo sighed, "We're in different countries. It's June 6 here. 7 o'clock."

"For gods sake!" Boa cursed.

Felicity raised an eyebrow as Mirror Eye materialised in front of her, "You're being suspiciously social these last two weeks." She muttered bitterly.

Mirror Eye rubbed her neck, looking almost genuinely curious, "But... You've only enabled me for three weeks? So I guess I've always been social."

"Just let me have this." Felicity growled, "It's not like you can keep me trapped in here. I'm gonna get free. Believe it."

Mirror Eye rolled her eyes, "Oh please, you can easily get free! You just don't want to! You like it!"

Felicity strained against her cocoon, "No, no I don't! I want to be in control of my freaking body, so give it back!"

Mirror Eye cackled, "Then free yourself. Come on, if you're so smart, free yourself."

Felicity drooped down, the fight going out of her, "Please." She whispered, tears glistening in her eyes, "I just wanna live my life."

Mirror Eye sobered up, "And keep on drowning in an ocean of regrets and disappointment?"

Number seven: Set the stage

Daigo had managed to procure a last-minute flight to the Netherlands. It was less a stroke of much needed luck, and more because the club owner actually had access to a private jet. Something to do with famous fashion designers or something, Boa hadn't listened when it was being explained. What he did know was that it was a nearly one and a half hour flight there, and even with the most optimistic result, Daigo was gonna land in the Netherlands with barely an hour to spare. And that didn't even take into account even getting to the site of the battle. In conclusion? There was no way they could pull this off. How long could that battle even be? It just wasn't possible-

"Alright, Boa. I get your concerns. But it's seriously out of your hands." Kajuri tried to console his steadily spiraling friend.

Boa paused his frantic pacing, "Wait, have I been saying that out loud?"

Kajuri sweatdropped, "You... Didn't know?" Boa shook his head, bamboozled. Kajuri groaned, "Alright, that's it! You need to keep your mind off of this until the action starts."

Boa tried to contest it, but a stern glare from Kajuri made him backpedal, "Fine, whatever. It's not like I care!"

He stomped over to the desk and started fiddling around with random stuff. He picked up one of the Beys he had been looking at, "This looks familiar." He commented, and twisted it around, so that it spun lazily across the table.

Valt examined the decoy Beyblade Raul had managed to cobble together, "Are you sure this will work?" He asked.

Old Man Raul nodded, "Course it will! Use said that it was the exact same bey she's always had, no?"

Rantarou nodded, "Yup. The bey Mirror Eye was carrying had virtually no difference between the one Felicity used to carry except for the black Forge Disk added on."

Raul nodded, "Exactly. I've got all the other parts already here, except for the Forge Disk. That one appears to be a unique design that I've never seen before."

Valt shifted his weight from toe to toe uneasily, "But we won't be able to sell it properly without the Forge Disk! Oh, what do we do? What do we do?"

Wakiya scoffed from a corner, "Oh, please. Just calm down so we can figure out a solution!"

Valt laughed apologetically, "Sorry!"

Raul laughed, "It's quite alright! There is no urgency! I just pulled in a couple favors to get access to the record of the bey mechanisms for Virus Falcon!"

Rantarou blinked, "Woah, just like that? You really are the greatest!"

Wakiya sneered half-heartedly, "Guess you aren't useless after all, old man."

Raul chuckled, "Now, now, don't get too carried away! Those are legally patented designs after all. I wasn't allowed the exact logistics, just the picture of the 3d display they show during the matches. But it was enough to make an almost exactly match."

He pulled out a black Forge Disk with yellow, purple and orange accents, and quickly added it to the bey combination.

"Oh my god, it looks exactly the same!" Valt had stars in his eyes as he stared at it.

Raul laughed, "Glad you think so. Now, somehow we're gonna have to switch it with the original one."

Rantarou sighed, "This could be tricky..."

Number Eight: Waiting Game

Spryzen paced around the stadium he had set up impatiently. He checked his master's phone for the sixth time. It was now eleven o'clock, and still no sign of Lui Shirosagi.

Was he even planning on showing up?

He didn't know. He hadn't bothered to find out.

An oversight on his part, perhaps, but it's not like Lui would pass up the offer to defeat his master. Had they not had a rivalry?

He unlocked his master's phone to kill time. He quickly searched, "Lui Shirosagi's response to Red Eye challenge." And clicked on one of the first results.

An image of Lui Shirosagi popped up, grinning manically, "Well, if that's how you wanna play it, you cowardly little worm, then alright! I accept your challenge!"

Spryzen wrinkled his nose, offended on his master's behalf. What an extremely unpleasant human being.

Felicity sobbed wetly, and the bonds around her loosened enough for her to awkwardly rub her tears away, "How do you know so much about me?"

Mirror Eye looked away, "You've been carrying me with you ever since your accident. I learnt quite a few things from your exchanges with the rest of the world."

Felicity quivered, "Things like what?"

Mirror Eye shrugged, "Regular things. Emotional dependency, quid pro quo, empathy. You humans do many strange things."

Felicity raised an eyebrow, "Like what?"

"Why you would bother doing any of the things you're told to do." Mirror Eye deadpanned, "I mean, it is their job to solve their own problems, is it not? Or have you been purposefully sabotaging your happiness by refusing to get your problems solved?"

Felicity hesitated, "I... Uh... Well..."

"Oh, save it!" Mirror Eye snapped, "You don't see it, do you? They're just taking advantage of you! They're gonna hurt you, and I can't let that happen!" She stomped off, before turning around, "You know, we could get along, if you would just accept the truth." She stated, before dispersing into a whirlwind of color.

Leaving Felicity alone with her problems, once again.

Number Nine: Switch it up a little

When Lui strutted through the crowd, people instinctively cleared a path. It wasn't because of his reputation as the one who broke the number one blader in the world. No, beyblade wasn't that popular. Yet.

It wasn't because of his height either. He was five feet tall, so he wasn't exactly towering over people any time soon.

No, people cleared a path because he was intimidating.

Maybe it was the sharp teeth, or the flaming hair. Maybe it was the way he walked, and his very demeanor.

Whatever the case may be, as Lui strutted through this small town in the middle of nowhere, ready to utterly destroy this upstart, the locals immediately scrambled away from him.

It gave him a sadistic sort of pleasure that people were scared of him.

A part of him felt a little sad that no one approached him, and tried to befriend him, too scared of his strut and sneer.

It didn't matter anyway, he decided. He was only friends with people who took beyblade seriously.

As he walked purposefully outside the town, where the match was held, he barely noticed the boy with black hair tailing him, just a little further behind.

He observed the boy through the corner of his eye, and quickly identified him as Daigo Kurogami, Captain of AS Gallus.

What was he doing here?

Mirror Eye sat cross-legged on her sofa, meditating. In front of her, Virus Falcon was lying there on the table.

It was fast approaching night time, and there was a festival in their honor that Mirror Eye was required to attend, apparently.

She hated social functions. They weren't her job. They were Felicity's. It was her party after all, so she had no right to steal it from her.

There was a knock on her door. She didn't answer.

Maybe they'd think that she wasn't there and leave?

"Press conference before the final round." The gruff voice on the other side of the door called out.

Mirror Eye groaned internally and stood up, "I'll be right there."

She walked out of the room, grabbing Falcon with her.

She and her guide traversed the halls with little trouble, before a boy ran up to her.

He looked with familiar, and had black hair with a yellow ahoge and a cockatoo with him. Mirror Eye knew because Felicity was fond of birds. She had had one too. Wonder what happened to it?

The boy grinned at her, "Hey! You're Felicity Comas, right?"

She nodded, "I believe so, yes." The lie was sour on her tongue.

The boy didn't seem to notice as he rambled on, "You're such a great BeyTrainer!"

"Thank you." She replied disinterestedly. Her guide tapped his foot impatiently, and she gestured for him to wait. Felicity always spared time for a fan. Well, most of the time.

"Can I see your bey?" He asked, suddenly, "I heard you had it custom made."

"I... Don't think that's wise." She managed to say.

"Aww, please?" He turned on the puppy eyes.

Mirror Eye lasted for only a few seconds, "Ugh, fine. Here." She handed him Falcon.

He gushed over the bey and took a hundred pictures.

She pretended not to notice him slipping it into his pocket and pulling out another bey.

"Here! Thanks for giving it to me!" He chirped, giving her the fake bey.

Mirror Eye made no comment about that, just nodded, smiled, and waved him away.

After he had gone into a more crowded area, she gave chase.

A quick scan through the area and she was easily about to locate her bey. She stealthily pulled it out of his pocket, deftly replacing it with the decoy that she had been given, before melting back into the shadows without grabbing his attention. So much for the switcheroo...

Number Ten: This Is War

Daigo watched from a distance as Lui Shirosagi marched up to Red Eye at high noon.

"Nice to see that you came." Red Eye smirked, "I thought you'd chickened out or something."

Lui laughed, "Chickened out? Me? You wish!"

Red Eye sneered, "Well, if you're so confident, why don't we started this match already?"

Lui nodded, "I would love to. But first, you should know, someone's spying on us."

Red Eye cast a glance around, and almost immediately zeroed in on Daigo, even as cowered behind a tree, "I can see you, Kurogami! Come and face us, why don't you?" He yelled.

Daigo flinched but stepped forward anyways. Gulping up at the two bey legends. He was so dead...

"Brilliant! You're now our referee!" Lui decided, and Red Eye nodded in agreement. Boa sighed in relief. So maybe he wasn't dead after all.

In another country, Boa sat, spinning the decoy bey he had found.

"Whatcha doing?" Kajuri asked, sliding in the chair beside him.

Boa shrugged non committedly, "This bey. It's so... Mesmerising."

Kajuri frowned, "What do you mean?"

Boa spun it with his hands again, "See what I mean?" He asked.

Kajuri nodded, "I mean I guess it is kinda cool." He allowed, "Come on, Boa, snap out of it."

Boa stared at the bey, as it twirled, "But it's so cool."

Kajuri looked at it suspiciously, before yanking the bey out of Boa's hands. "Hey!" The boy wearing a poncho whined as he made a grab for it, "What's that for?!"

Kajuri flicked his head, which seemed to clear the mist out of Boa's eyes, "What the hell?" He asked as he returned to himself.

"Glad you're back to normal." Kajuri greeted him, "What happened to you?"

Boa shrugged, "I don't know. It's all... Fuzzy."

Kajuri looked at the bey he was holding, "There's something weird about this bey." He noted, "You sure it's one of the decoys?"

Boa nodded, "The Performance Tip isn't the same, so it can't be the original."

Kajuri gulped, "What if... The rest of the bey is from the original? Just the performance tip is missing?"

Boa jolted up, "Like with one of the failed outcomes of the Requiem project, which concentrated the sentience of a bey into one specific piece, that would need to be supported by an infected Snake bey."

Kajuri whistled, "So that one piece is the brains while the rest are the muscle?"

"And vital organs." Boa added, "While it can mesh well with any combination, it's first parts will always have great importance to it, providing it strength and all that."

Kajuri stared at him, "How do you know all this?"

Boa coughed, "I considered joining the Requiem project as a lab rat. Once." He admitted, "I'm not proud of it."

Kajuri grasped his shoulder in support, "That's alright. First, we need to know what to do with this new information."

Boa grinned, "I think I have a plan."

"So, this is the Virus Falcon?" Valt asked, looking at the bey carefully.

"Yup!" Cuza nodded confidently, "Definitely the one!"

"You sure?" Wakiya asked suspiciously.

"Very sure!" Cuza reassured him, "There's no way she managed to take it off of me."

"Just asking." Wakiya grumbled.

"So... What are we supposed to do with this?" Rantarou asked, "Cause the finals are about to start and we need a plan."

"Good question." Cuza sighed, "Truth is; I don't know."

"So what was the point of all that if we don't even know what we needed to do with this thing?!" Valt cried.

"We'll figure it out later." Wakiya reassured him, "But for now... We need eyes in the stadium."

"Valt and I will go." Rantarou offered, "You two stay here, and figure out a plan. We'll be on video call with you the whole time."

Wakiya rolled his eyes, "Yeah, whatever, pick the easy job. We've got things covered here."

The two boys dashed out of the dorm room, and Wakiya turned back to Cuza, "So, got any ideas?"

Cuza looked him straight in the eye, "I think we should break it."

Boa slammed the bey into the table, "Come on!" He whined, "Just. Break. Already."

"How is a piece of plastic that strong?" Kajuri asked

"I don't know!" Boa groaned.

"Well, this obviously isn't working, seeing as how you've been trying to brute force your way through it for the last five minutes." Kajuri sighed, "We'll need to try something else."

Boa scoffed, "You got any other ideas except destroying it? Because it seems to be the only option right now, despite everything you've been claiming."

Kajuri blinked, "I was actually going to offer that we use your mother's meat tenderizer to beat the shit out of it instead."

"Oh..." Boa nodded, "You know what? Good idea."

Mirror Eye walked into a stadium filled with fans, sparing them only a glance and a wave, before marching up to the stadium.

On the other side of the stadium, Free de La Hoya smirked at her.

They exchanged Beys, took their positions.

Mirror Eye closed her eyes, entering the Aura Field like it was second nature.

In front of her, stood Felicity, still wrapped up in her threads, but they were hanging loosely off of her.

"Hello, Felicity." She greeted her quietly.

"Mirror Eye." Felicity replied neutrally, "Made it to the finals, have you?"

Mirror Eye smiled, "Yes, we did. Just like you wanted."

Felicity growled, "No, I didn't."

Mirror Eye cocked her head, confused, "But I thought you wanted to be the very best? Like no one ever was?"

Felicity narrowed her eyes, "Are you making a freaking Pokemon reference?"

Mirror Eye giggled, "Sorry, couldn't help myself!"

Felicity shook it off, "And to answer your question, no. This wasn't what I wanted, not like this."

"What do you mean?" Mirror Eye innocently asked.

Felicity raised an eyebrow, "This wasn't me! I did nothing! This was all you, and I can't have that!"

Mirror Eye stumbled backwards, "I... What?"

Felicity rolled her eyes, "I thought about what you said. You're supposed to be my partner, right?"

Mirror Eye nodded, "Obviously. I'll do anything to keep you safe and happy! That's what partners do!"

Felicity struggled in her strings, "But that's not what partners do! They're supposed to support each other! You can't just keep me trapped in here for the rest of my life!"

There was silence as Mirror Eye stewed upon these words, before she finally broke it, "Alright."

Felicity's head jolted up, "Sorry, what?"

"I said Alright!" Mirror Eye sighed, "What do you wanna do?"

Felicity grinned, "I wanna battle. With you. As my partner, if it's possible."

Bonus: Four roads converge

In another country, on a hill in a remote location, two boys were standing, ready to face off. Daigo stood between the two nervously as they took their positions, "We ready?" He asked.

The two nodded.

On another continent, two boys stood in front of a Spryzen beyblade. A very special Spryzen beyblade. One of them held a meat tenderizer in his trembling fingers.

"You ready?" Kajuri asked cautiously.

Boa let a shaky breath out, "Ready as I'll ever be."

"Okay." Kajuri rubbed his hands together as he began to count down, "Three."

Back in a dorm room in Spain, two boys sat on the floor. The raven was holding a hammer, watching the livestream of a match happening in the exact same stream.

"You might wanna get started soon." Wakiya noted, too engrossed with the drama to be mean, "It's starting."

Cuza nodded, "Yeah, yeah. Three."

He pulled the hammer away, "Two."

In the Aura Field, two girls stood. One of them flesh and blood, the other barely an apparition. Both human.

Mirror Eye held out a hand to Felicity hesitantly, "So, partners?"

Felicity grimaced, and reached out her hand to shake it as the announcer's voice echoed inside the Field, "One!"

The two grasped each other's hands as DJ Blader yelled out, "Let it... Rip!"

Boa brought down the tenderizer on the Spryzen bey, then started beating on it repeatedly, as it shattered.

As it broke, it sparked a fuse stretching across the Atlantic. A fuse that led straight back to Red Eye.

The fuse reached Red Eye just as Daigo brought down his hand, "Let it Rip!" He cried out.

Red Eye opened his mouth to repeat the phrase, but his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed. Leaving Lui and Daigo staring at him.

Cuza crushed the bey just as the countdown ended, letting out a sigh of relief, "We did it!" He cried out.

"Uhh, guys?" Rantarou asked, "Nothing's happening!"

"Huh?!" Cuza turned to look at the screen, where Mirror Eye was still standing, eagerly battling, "I don't get it, what went wrong?"

Back in the stadium, a wave of fire went over Felicity, cutting her hair tie and pulling it loose. The scars on her face and hands washed out with the blaze, and her eyes returned back to their Jade color, but with a determined spark. She gave a shark like grin and felt the pressure of Mirror Eye directing her every movement as she launched, "Let it Rip!"
