Clang, clang, clang! With each bang of the hammer, a loud, metallic echo would course through the area. It was the next day now, morning even, and all the materials were bought. She worked from seven in the morning up to the current time, which was eleven o'clock. Her determined, narrowed eyes were glued to the blade she worked on. She made the dagger for Asashi already, added an attachment to the hilt of Inuyasha's tessaiga so that a long beam would stretch out just an inch away from the blade, and fixed Jaken's staff so it'd shoot out beams. His staff had two laser shooters in the small gap between the heads, with a simple press of the button on the side of the stick part, it'd shoot out beams.
She was almost done making Sesshomaru's sword, too. Kagome had assembled all of her and Inuyasha's friends. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo were standing in the blacksmith's shop. Even Koga got invited, he sat cross-legged against the wall near Asashi who was leaning against it with his orange eyes examining his dagger.
Obsidian had his weapon made too; on both of his hands were clawed bracers. The tips of his fingers were covered up by the claws on the bracer, which were made of sharply pointed Plexiglas that would heat up if the switch on the sides of his forearms were flipped on. Heated claws, it was something that Y/N thought was unique. The bracer was made of flexible material that could stretch to a great size. Obi kept feeling the sharp tips of the claws by lightly brushing it across his bicep.
Surprisingly he had some muscle... defined muscle... Slim, healthy muscle that would put a professional swimmer to shame. "Oi, girl, when do I get my weapon?" Koga asked with a lifted brow and pressed both of his palms against the sides of his feet. He had changed his position to the butterfly posture, while his expression showed curiosity. The claw tips on his one hand touched the floor lightly, so to not cut his own ankle accidentally. (Let me know if he doesn't have his claw anymore, I can't remember. Dx)
"In a minute! I'm almost done with Sesshomaru's!" Y/N happily exclaimed and continued. His new sword was a long samurai blade made of Plexiglas. Literally, it was a glass sword that would heat up if charged by the sun and turned on by the button on end of the hilt. The blade was sharp and once she got done, she wiped the sweat off her brow before stepping back. The blade got lifted up after it was finished and she smiled real big. "Give me a couple seconds, I'm gonna see what it looks like once it gets enough sun!" she gleefully chirped and ran out of the shop.
Sessho had widened eyes, never in his life has he seen a glass sword before... So, he too made his way outside. There Y/N stood, waiting a minute or two for the blade to absorb the rays. After everyone else peeked outside, they saw her hold the sword with both hands and flipped the switch. Suddenly, the glass blade itself glowed a bright golden yellow, surprising her and making a big grin form. Wow... Reminds me of star wars and their LIGHT sabers!~ Y/N cracked a joke in her head and she laughed pretty hard, causing the group behind her to grow confused.
"That's neat! I've never seen a glass sword before!" Sango gawked in awe as her eyes wavered with amaze. Even Miroku was taken aback by the beautiful sword.
"No kidding! Why don't blacksmiths ever make something like this...?" Miroku mumbled curiously and grasped his chin, blinking as he gazed upon the blade.
"Here ya are Sesshomaru!" Y/N beamed, raced over to him and handed him the hilt part of the glass sword. She was excited, more excited to hear what he had to say about the present she made him. She put her all into that sword, she spent more hours trying to make sure it was perfect than the other weapons she made.
He grasped it and his eyes were wide when he stared at the glowing blade. After he lifted it up a bit towards the sky, he could tell that the point and the sharp part of the sword were finely made. He was quite impressed, to say the least. He felt a small tinge of sentimental value towards it as if someone dear to him gave him a birthday or Christmas card, with meaningful words in it; only...it wasn't a card. "Well?!" she excitedly exclaimed and crossed her arms, having that big grin spreading across her lips.
"I don't hate it..." A small faint flush of pink dusted his cheeks when he closed his eyes. His stubborn pride took over, he didn't dare let his flustered state surface or admit that he actually loved it...
Y/N sweatdropped and gave a narrow-eyed expression at his words, rather disliking how he completely avoided admitting that he liked it by saying how he didn't hate it. The least he could say is that he friggin likes it... Mentally stating in her mind, the young woman watched him as he tested it by giving the blade a few swings in the air. "Alright, now, let's get started on the rest of your guy's weapons..." She was disappointed, it was written all over her face and Koga noticed it; heck, everyone except Sesshi noticed it... They all watched her walk back inside the shop with a bit of a depressed expression, the only person who didn't look back was the lordship himself.
After she disappeared into the building, Miroku frowned deeply at Sessho's backside. "You know, I'm an expert at love. Out of all of the weapons she made, she got more excited over presenting your weapon to you, than to any of us. A maiden's handcrafted gift that she presents to the one she loves, is a charming moment. She made it for you and poured all of her love in it, in hopes of hearing some ounce of appreciation from you. Yet, all her love interest says in return is I don't hate it. You're such a charming and caring fellow, aren't you?" Miroku smirked and closed his eyes, only to feel a jab in the ribs by Sango herself. He grunted and rubbed his side, then glanced over at her curiously.
"Tch, yeah, gotta agree with him on that... That was pretty harsh to say to someone who just went out of their way to make you something special..." Koga jumped in and folded his arms. Inuyash stood silent, while Shippo, Rin, Kagome who looked furious, Sango, and Asashi all nodded in response. Wait... Where was Obsidian...?
Anyway, Sesshomaru, with his back to them all, only had a few seconds of widened eyes before they appeared angry. He hated having to hear the word love between him and her, yet it felt true... He began to notice that his attempt to prove his mother wrong, was failing miserably...
Everyone stood silent until Kagome spoke up. "Who can blame him? He's heartless, he doesn't care about humans, even if they ARE half breeds... Am I right, Inuyasha?" With anger filling her voice and her eyes darting over to her husband, she noticed that he too was angry at him. All she got from him with a simple nod and a click of his tongue. Tighter and tighter, the grip on Sessho's hilt gripped much harsher by the minute.
"He always hated me, I'm a half breed! I'm not surprised, either, if he hated her!" Inu said with fury. Asashi, who stood in the sidelines, could tell that Sesshomaru was growing angry. He knew that the lordship loved her, he knew he'd give in eventually but when was the question... Pride could only stretch so far until it crumbles down to the floor. He smirked, he knew what the others were doing. Sure, what he said WAS rather cold... But he knew, oh-ho-ho HE KNEW...something was bound to happen soon.
Out of nowhere, he lunged at Inu and gripped his throat, slamming him against the exterior wall of the shop. Hearing a satisfying grunt from his little brother, his golden, furious eyes glared daggers into a similar pair. "Such feeble minds like yours would never understand, brother... It'd be wise if you didn't insult me or-" before he could continue, Asashi overran him with his own comment.
"Your pride? Yes, we understand... Although there are more important matters at stake here... Obsidian is after her again, I saw him enter the blacksmith's shop after she hid away inside... You've saved her countless times from him, from other moments that she couldn't escape from, and from threats that were able to kill her... Yet, you still deny the fact that you love her...? Your actions speak louder than words, lord Sesshomaru... And I doubt I'm the only one who has noticed it..." Y/N's teacher stated and walked closer to him, seeing the lordship's golden eyes look over at him from the corners.
Sesshi was a bit shocked... He knew Asashi had great observation skills...but he didn't think that he'd be able to read him that easily.
Slowly, Sesshomaru's attention examined everyone around him and saw their serious, agreeing expressions. For a second his grip tightened on his brother's neck, but then he let go and backed up.
Inside the shop, Obsidian was seen sitting next to Y/N, who had her face buried in her own knees that were up against her chest. Her hair covered the sides of her face, arms wrapped around her knees and Obi kept his attention on her. "What a harsh thing to say, to a lady such as yourself... You worked so hard in crafting a beautiful blade for him, you wanted so badly, to hear his words of appreciation; yet he didn't give you any," he said, scooted closer to her side and unfolded his wings.
She didn't care, she worked so hard making that, making it unique out of all the others. She put her heart into it and all she got in return were those three little words... She felt his one wing fold around her frame and felt his arm pull her towards his chest.
"Don't worry, my dear, I certainly love the weapons you made me,~" He had taken them off after he got inside. They sat in front of him a bit away, so he could hold and comfort her. This was an opportunity he couldn't pass up, what better way to try and win a woman's heart and trust, than comforting them during their times of sorrow?
Torgadi wasn't in the forge at the moment, he was out on break eating his lunch now. "That's not the point..." she stated with a cracked voice, evidence of her previously crying was obvious when she spoke up. His Sebastian smirk fell into a frown, he was actually concerned for her despite grabbing this opportunity to try and win her over Sesshi. "I, at least wanted to hear him say thank you... I just... I..." she stumbled over her words and hid her face in the bat fur on his, otherwise, slim and muscular chest. "I love him..." she managed to finish her sentence.
What she didn't expect was for Obi to lift up her chin by two fingers and inched closer to her lips, their noses practically touched from the proximity. "Someone who hates half breeds would never love... He's only protecting you because you're the only one who can kill this threat. I, however, love you deeply... Why keep chasing after a lordship who feels nothing for you in return?" he asked, causing her eyes to widen slightly.
"But I-...!" Before she could protest against his words, she felt his fingers trace her jawline and hold her in place. Very slowly Obi licked her lips, tracing them and enjoying the soft texture he felt. Just before he could go any further, a clawed hand gripped a lock of his dark red hair and chucked him backward out of the shop.
Y/N was too stunned, being emotionally hurt and shocked at Obi's sudden move, made her stiffen in her place even after he got sent outside of the shop. Her alien eyes gradually peered up at the over six-foot lordship, he looked enraged... Bits of fur was tangled and intertwined with his fingers, while some of it fell out of his grasp. "Sesshomaru..." she began, stood up on wobbly feet and could feel her heart pounding due to the moment with Obsidian.
An unforeseen act occurred from Sesshi, she gasped when he pushed her against the wall and slammed his lips on hers. His tight grip on her wrists that were being pinned on the wall, grew much tighter. Her eyes widened, her face reddened, and her heart raced faster than before. A light groan resonated from Sesshi and she felt him press his body against hers, he wasn't gonna stop anytime soon... He broke the contact and barely allowed space between their faces and his golden eyes stared intently into hers with faint red cheeks. "Your gift will not go unappreciated...Y/N... I will wield it against any foe who dares to challenge me, for it was made only... For me... No one will touch it, no one will use it, other than me... I won't let anyone touch it, even for a second. It is precious to me because you made it... It even has more value to me than the clothes on my back...and my love for you... I'm still having difficulties understanding. However, I will let my body act before my words, because my mind has yet to be made up..." he explained, leaned towards her lips more and whispered one more time. "Asashi Gato is dangerous..." he finished, referring to the full-blooded Ketix's keen observation. Again he locked lips with hers and her awestruck expression not once wavered.
W-What...? Is he saying... What I think he's saying?! Damn! If only I had known! she mentally cried in relief. She felt like an idiot at first for falling for someone who hated half breeds, but now...she's beginning to regret believing it. She was so happy, after all this time, her love interest was actually fully returning his feelings! Unlike her past boyfriends who dumped her for some other chick or had cheated on her...
She was afraid of being rejected, which was why she never wanted to confess. She was afraid, but to know he felt the same way towards her and it was just his stubborn pride holding him back from doing so, made tears brim the corners of her eyes. He loves me! He loves me, he loves me, he loves me! she continued in her head and kissed back, feeling his tongue slip in.
Outside of the shop, everyone stood wide-eyed at the closed door. Obi's butt was planted to the ground and his batwings were folded behind him instead of wrapped around his chest. "Let me guess, Sesshomaru kicked you out because he got envious?" Miroku asked. Even though he didn't know Obi that well, nor everyone else aside from Rin, Jaken, Inu, and Kagome, he pretty much got the hint that he wasn't on good terms with Sessho...
"He saved her again, from Obsidian's attempts at making his move on her..." Asashi, who was seen smirking with closed orange eyes and folded arms, knew what had happened. Everyone except those who expected that to happen gasped.
"Yeah, serves him right! Hm, why are you both on bad terms, anyway?" Shippo asked and looked over at Obi with a risen brow.
"Let's just say that he and Sesshomaru both love Y/N, their mothers want to marry them to her, and they've been at each other's throats ever since the beginning... At least, that's the story they told me; it being about when and how Y/N arrived here in this world," Kagome chirped and put a finger to her chin in thought.
"Wow and here I thought he was a cold-hearted bastard. It's good to know he's slowly changing..." Sango sweatdropped after saying that and sighed in relief.
Rin kept giggling at the whole conversation as she stood next to Jaken. "I wanna see them get married! They're cute together! I wonder what she looks like in a wedding kimono!" she exclaimed happily with blushes tainting her cheeks. That caused all heads to peer over at her in shock, the image of those two being married, Sesshomaru... The cold-hearted lordship marrying someone like Y/N? Inuyasha busted out laughing at the stupid image he had of his brother...
"You kidding?! Sesshomaru?! Settling down?! Hah, now that's something you don't hear every day! My brother's not the kind of guy to settle down with a wife! I bet ya a million yen that he won't marry her in the end! Hahaha!" Inuyasha blurted out, only to earn a harsh pound on top of his head from his own wife.
"Speak for yourself, mister! Look at who I married!" Kagome angrily stated. Now, those two began bickering as the scene zoomed out slowly in a comedic manner. What Y/N and Sesshi were doing inside the shop right now, will never be mentioned. Let's just say it's personal... Nothing too out of hand or naughty, mind you. (Shame shame, get your mind out of the gutter dear readers~ w. )

Time had passed after that little event and Y/N managed to make the other weapons for those who didn't have one yet. It was nearing night time now and the scene showed Kurimi sitting next to Glao who was patiently waiting for their leader to awaken. The blackened creature that was sent to assist Kurimi if things had gone sour, stood next to the coffin on one knee, kneeling in respect. The creature ended up not being needed in the end, so he simply returned to his master.
"It's time..." Glao muttered with no emotion and stood up. Kurimi who had done the same eyed the casket and gulped, tightening her grip around her other hand while they remained clasped together in front. Now, the scene showed only the casket and anticipation grew as it slowly zoomed in on the object.
(Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! Play: Dark music – Shadows Hymn, it's the awakening theme!)
The casket cover gradually got slid off by an ominous, black hand and it fell on the floor. Once the first bit of choir from the song appeared, a pitch black corpse that looked like it was covered in fresh black paint or ink, slowly sat up. Skeletal features such as a rib cage, skull, spine, and everything, were visible. As he sat up though, the same black liquid began to build up and morph his appearance into a more human, flesh covered figure. (first vocal part) His blackened appearance changed color by fading the black, into dark red, gold, and blonde. Horns protruded from the sides of his head, taking up Ketix features.
He stood up slowly and stepped out, nothing but pure silence came from the creature... Blonde bangs draped over his one eye, a dark red blindfold masked his eyes, an expressionless feature on his face, and pointed ears that looked like Asashi's. It was obvious that this creature was none other than a Ketix, well, by how he's seen that is... His outfit consisted of a dark, blood red full suit that was so tight, his thin muscles could be seen as defiend as ever. His hands and feet were pitch black though, claws poked out on them and they looked pretty thin. His body seemed slim, athletic, princely, but creepy none the less.
He lifted his hands out lazily to his sides and had his palms face the ground, making black liquid descend from his hands as if it was pouring right off of his own body. (Through the odd speech in the vocal part!) One by one, those blackened creatures that were made of the same substance as the one who Y/N killed before, rose up from the black liquid that got spilled on the ground. All around him, a large puddle of the substance allowed countless other creatures of the same being to rise up from the liquid.
They were seen kneeling to him in respect, several of them surrounded him in a spherical shape. (Short chorus part!) It soon showed millions of the black creatures that were kneeling, they were all over the pyramid building and countless more were down the large flight of stairs. From him spreading the liquid more and more, they kept emerging from it, he was literally creating his own army...
Kurimi and Glao stood wide-eyed from the sidelines but they instantly got on their knees to bow in respect. In pure silence, the Great Hateshiganai himself walked past all of his creations and made his way down the stairs in a graceful but slow manner. Kurimi and her boss quickly followed after in curiosity, wondering why the man hasn't spoken to them yet. (Song ends here! :D)
"My lord, when do we depart and begin?" Glao asked as he stared in awe at the backside of the powerful being before him. Still, he got no answer... The foreboding vibe he kept receiving from the creature was eerie and unpleasant, yet he didn't show it, he didn't let it get to him. Kurimi had a bad feeling about this, she felt her heart racing ninety miles an hour... Her eyes wavered with uncertainty; the vibe she felt not only felt dangerous and ominous, but it was silent and calm... As if he had no care in the world at all except wanting to commit chaos. Like some apocalyptic prophecy that was meant to kill with a sane mind... It made her feel incredibly uneasy.
