Later on in the day...
Back at the bowling alley...
The group stopped playing their game, finally deciding to get some dinner. They decided to go to the food court area of the bowling alley, since it was closer to them, so they don't have to walk anywhere far. The group went over to that spot, just as the song 'How Will I Know' by Whitney Houston was playing on the radios up above.
So the group got themselves some food, then sat down at two of the tables. Sapphire was sitting with Candy at one table, while Zack was sitting with Amber at another table. Sapphire just stared at the soon-to-be couple sitting at the second table, seeing that the two of them were sharing a large tray of fries together. She was a bit distracted by the two enjoying each others time, that Candy literately tapping her arm to get her attention.
"Hey babe..." Candy said, snapping Sapphire out of her daze. The party girl looks over to the blonde girl she was sitting next to.
"Oh, sorry, Candy." Sapphire said, before picking up the bowl of salad that she bought. "...It's just that...I just love it when I see the start of a relationship happen."
"What relationship is going to happen?" Candy asked, before taking a bite out of her grilled cheese sandwich. Sapphire smiled, before pointing towards Zack and Amber.
"Those two, of course." She chuckles, before turning towards her girlfriend. "Amber was like, asking me to get together with Zack before we got here. Like, last night we had a talk together, about trying to get her to go out with him."
"So are they dating right now?"
"Well..." Sapphire took places her food down, before looking over to her girlfriend again. "...I don't actually know yet. By the looks of it, it seems like they are just talking to each other, and...like, that's it."
"Oh, I see." Candy took another bite out of her grilled cheese sandwich, before looking back at Zack and Amber to see if things escalate into a relationship.
"I can only wonder what those two are like, talking about over there. Do you know?" Candy shrugged her shoulders, continuing to eat her dinner.
On the other table, Amber and Zack were pretty much enjoying their time together, just sitting there, sharing fries, and having themselves a conversation. By the looks of it, it seems like the two are enjoying their time together. Zack picks up the nearby ketchup bottle, opening it up for them.
"I have to admit, this was a pretty awesome night, Zack." The girl said, smiling at the party boy. "I didn't think that I'd have this much fun since I went on the roller coaster down in the amusement park back in the tenth grade."
"I thought any day at Club Candy would be the most fun you would have." Zack said.
"Well, those days too."
"Yeah, totally dude." Zack took a sip of his drink, before Amber spoke once again.
"So, after all of this, want to do anything else?"
"Well, maybe the group can go hang out at Club Candy once again. There should be a party that's happening later on, so that will give us all the free time that we need to hang out."
"Actually, I was thinking just...me and you hang out, not with Candy and Sapphire, I meant...just the two of us, and that's it." Zack's eyes widened after he heard that being said. He raises an eyebrow, before questioning this.
"So...pretty much like a date?"
"Yeah. Pretty much like a date."
Zack was surprised that this was being said to him right now. It almost felt out of nowhere for him to hear this. He was pretty happy that somebody was asking him out, but he wasn't exactly it to be a friend of one of his two other best friends. Despite that last part, he gave Amber a smile.
"So...what do you say, Zack? Just friends? It's okay that we go out?" Amber asked, feeling a bit awkward after that question was asked to him. The party boy nods his head.
"Sure thing. I totally think it's an awesome idea for us to go out on a date." Zack said.
Amber felt pretty relieved hearing this being said, now smiling as well. "Oh, awesome. I'm glad you said yes to me, Zack. For a moment, I thought you would've just turned me down..." The party girl shook his head.
"What made you think that?"
"I don't know, I just...assumed, really." She takes a couple more fries in her hand, before looking over to Zack again. "Also, we just met each other, like...a couple days ago already. It would just seem to be rushing into it, don't you think so?" Zack turns his head towards Candy and Sapphire, who were softly talking with each other, rather than being focused on them. He then turns his head back to Amber again.
"Well, since those two gotten into a relationship after one day of hanging out with each other, then it doesn't seem like rushing into one to me." Amber looks at the two other partiers, seeing Zack's point there.
"Guess not..." Amber then looks at Zack, raising an eyebrow. "You think they'd be happy that we're together now?"
The party boy looked a bit confused by that being said. He already knew what Sapphire's reaction was going to be, since she loves romance, but he didn't really take Candy's feeling into consideration on this one. Amber was her crush in the past after all. But even then, to Zack, it seems like after Amber figured out that her best friend's a lesbian, and then denying her feelings for her, Candy seems to be over her now.
To him, it seems okay that they date anyway. It wasn't like Candy was going to freak out about it or anything anyway. He gave another smile again, before finally answering his new girlfriend's question.
"Well...if I have to think of how Sapphire would feel...she would probably be...extremely happy with us together, like how she is whenever she sees two people beginning a relationship." Zack said, bluntly, causing Amber to nod her head in agreement. She already knew that Sapphire would feel that way, since she was helping her as well. "Candy on the other hand...well, all I can is that...she'll be happy for you. Back in Club Candy, you didn't seem all that happy hearing about what she's been keeping secret during middle school when she was friends with you."
"That is true...yeah..." Amber said. "Though, I did accept the two, since...they really do seem happy together."
"Agreed." The boy then pats the girl on the back. "But regardless, I'm sure she'll be happy for you." Amber smiled.
"Thanks Zack." Amber kisses Zack on his cheek. Zack blushes, before chuckling after that.
"No problem, dude." Amber chuckles back after she kissed him, happy to see that Sapphire has helped her and him become a couple.
Later that night...
Vance already decided to go home at this point, as well as Eleanor. So that just leaves Agent Walker, Ian, and Amelia to watch over the building until different agents come in and take over their shifts. But before Vance could go home, he decided to go check up on Pablo to see if things were alright with him.
So Vance asked Eleanor to drop him off at the hospital building, which she does. Eleanor decided to go find a parking spot so that she can come along into the building as well, so she drove off to find a spot, allowing Vance to go into the building alone. So Vance enters the building as she goes and does that.
Upon walking into the building, Vance went over to the front desk to see which room Pablo was located in. Once he was given which on, he went off to go find that room in the hallways. Vance hasn't been to the hospital building in awhile, so trying to find this room was a bit difficult for him, but he managed to find it.
He got to the room, where he was greeted by the sight of his girlfriend standing by the side of the door, standing in front of a doctor. By the look on her face, it seems like she's been crying for quite sometime now. It worried him to see her this way. Vance immediately walked up to Ginny and the doctor, hoping that everything was going to be alright.
"Ginny." Vance said, approaching his girlfriend. Ginny looks towards her boyfriend.
"Vance, you're here." Ginny said. "Have you heard what happened to Pablo?" The male agent nodded his head at Ginny's question.
"Everyone at the SPA Agency has heard about it...how did you hear?"
"I was told by Roxie..."
"Roxie heard? None of us told her yet...how did..."
The boy then thought of one thought that could be the logical answer how Roxie figured this out. She probably overheard either him talking to Katie, or Annie and Katie having a conversation about it. He knew that that would have to be the case. He looks around the hallway for a few seconds, before looking at his girlfriend again.
"Is Roxie here, by chance? I thought considering what had happened two nights ago, I thought she'd be here..." Vance asked. Ginny shook her head.
"She probably went home after our talk..." Ginny said. "I don't know where she went, but...who knows...but...I was wanting to talk to Pablo about what had happened that date, and...after a little bit of time away from him, but...I didn't want this to happen to him..."
"None of us do, Ginny. Look, I can assure you that...we have the person responsible for what happened to him..." Ginny nods her head silently.
"Good. Whoever the person is, I hope they get placed in jail for the rest of their life..."
"Actually, Ginny...if Pablo turns out to be alive, then...either community service or about a month in the bars at the SPA Agency, or...if lucky enough, then she'll aloud to be free...if he dies, then she'll be in jail for awhile..."
"She? Tell me who this person is!"
Vance stood there for a couple seconds, before holding up his hands, hoping that she doesn't freak out about what he is going to tell her. "Look, I need you to handle this calmly, alright?" Ginny nods, as Vance continued. "Listen, in the car that probably...or...didn't kill Pablo..." Vance bit his lip, before confessing what happened to his girlfriend. "...Annie was the one driving the car, and...Katie was the person in the front seat..."
Ginny's eyes widened hearing that being said. "Annie and Katie are involved in the death of my best friend?!" Ginny asked, almost sounding like she's growling through those words.
"Please, calm down...Annie is the only one of the two that is being held accountable for this...Katie was not arrested, since she was only a passenger in that car and not the driver." Ginny just blinked twice, still glaring at Vance. "I know you're hurting very badly about what had happened to Pablo, please try to keep faith in Pablo surviving what had happened, and...maybe he'll be able to try to sort things out."
Ginny stood there, feeling worried about the safety of her best friend. With a tear rolling down her eye, she walks up to Vance, hugging him, while crying into his chest. The agent hugs her back, trying to comfort her, before looking off at the end of the hallway, seeing Eleanor running over to their spot.
"Anything about Pablo yet?" Eleanor asked Vance. The male agent shook his head.
"By the looks of it, he seems to be alive." Vance said. "But...we still don't know if he's going to wake up from it or not still." Vance looks over to the door, before frowning. "I just hope whatever happens, he survives this..."
With how long he has been silent, the doctor that was standing next to Ginny when Vance came in finally spoke up. "I just want to say that Ginny has came into our hospital, about a couple minutes before visitors must leave." The doctor said. "We promise that we'll make sure to inform you, or the SPA Agency that he is alive and well."
"Thank you, doctor." Eleanor said. "...And have a pleasant evening." The doctor nods, before walking off down the hallway. "Shall we take Ginny home?"
"Is that okay, Ginny?" Vance asked his girlfriend.
Silently, Ginny looks up at Vance. Tears were flooding her eyes, and many streams of tears were rolling down her face. She nods her head, not saying a word to him after he had asked that.
"Alright...then lets go, Ginny." Vance said, softly. With all that being said and done, the three of them left the hospital, all hoping that Pablo will make wake up later on.
