It wasn't just happening in one place. It was happening all over. People were praying out loud for Katniss and Gale. In every district, and even in the Capitol, people began to step out of the bondage of fear. Fear wasn't strong enough to hold their hope back. President Snow backed out of his grand-daughter's room. She was on her knees praying. Even in his office, the unthinkable had happened. The wolves began to back off. The damage had been done. Katniss and Gale were the victors of the Hunger Games.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the victors of this year's Hunger Games, Katniss and Gale!" the gamemaker announced.
President Snow slumped down in his seat. He had to gather and recollect himself. This was not happening! This was not happening! He stared at the screen for countless minutes as Katniss and Gale were taken from the arena.
"They have lost their minds, or have they? One question for the citizens of Panem tonight is, is there someone who watches over us? Is God alive? Some of the Capitol's finest seem to think so after witnessing tonight's miracle. One thing is certain for Katniss and Gale, someone out there is watching you, and loves you."
President Snow began to sob.
