When Izuku awoke, they were in a camp. Tents were set up in way that made it look like a town. A campfire sat in the middle of them all. Lanterns strung up at the tip of some of the tents. All in all, it was a rather pretty sight to see.
"Welcome to our home" Kirishima assisted him with getting out of the wagon. As they unloaded the wagon, a female, a fairy Izuku guessed, approached them. She had short poufy pink hair with horns coming out the top. She had the same shade of pink skin to match her hair.
"Hey, Kiri" She said, grabbing one of the boxes of fruit. "Hey, Mina, meeting Midoriya Izuku" Kirishima stepped aside to allow him to be seen. "Nice to meet you!" Mina rather roughly shook his hand, ruffling his already extremely messy hair. "Bakubro and him seem to already know each other" Kirishima commented.
"Wait, really?" Mina, Izuku, and Kirishima walked towards the biggest tent, which held all the main supplies and where the two group leaders were, the group leaders being Bakugou Mitsuki and Todoroki Rei. Rei had run away many years ago, only able to take her eldest son, Touya, though now he's known as Dabi.
"Yeah. He and I were really close friends before my mom, and I had to move away. Which was about five years ago." Izuku explained, setting the box of bread that he held next to Mina's fruit box. "It's cool how he still recognizes you" Mina commented, "I'm a wolf, remember, we never forget someone's smell" Katsuki came up behind them, sticking his hands in his pocket.
"I still think it's cool" Mina finger-gunned him before walking away towards Ochako.
"Come with me, the old hag wants to see you" Katsuki led Izuku through the tent, to the back of it. Mitsuki and Rei sat at a table with a teen boy, he has mixed colored hair, red and white, and had bandages covering his arms and neck, a few patches on his face.
"Izuku!" Mitsuki stood up, hugging the boy tightly in her arms. "Hey, Auntie" Izuku returned the hug, looking over her shoulder to see Shouto sit down next to Rei. "Midoriya, this is my mom." Shouto stated, "And my brother, Dabi".
"Sup" Dabi simply said, bringing his feet off of the table and stood up. "I'm going to go find the birdy" Dabi stated, sticking his hands in his pockets while walking away. "Okay" Rei smiled softly at her eldest son, then looking over at her youngest son.
"I didn't know you had a brother named Dabi" Izuku commented, "You may know him as Touya" Rei explained, accepting the drink that Mitsuki handed to her.
"Izuku, I need you to come with me for a moment" Mitsuki softly said. Izuku nodded, standing up to follow her outside of the tent and into a different one. A white sheet separated them from the other side of the tent.
"I had gone to visit you and your mother" Mitsuki stated. Izuku froze and glanced at her with tears in his eyes. "I believe if I had arrived any time later, she wouldn't have made it" Mitsuki pulled the sheet aside, revealing Inko laying on a cot, Uraraka tending to her.
Uraraka's hands glowed with a soft yellow light, hovering just above his mother's wounds. "Are you a mage too?" Izuku asked her, "No, I'm a Witch" she explained. "Mages are born with their magical abilities while Witches are taught" Uraraka explained to him, pulling her hands away and grabbing a rag, dipping it into the nearby water dish.
Izuku kneeled next to Inko, looking down at his mother's sleeping face. "Her wounds were severe, and I could sense traces of your magic on them" Uraraka cleaned the blood from Inko's face, brushing her long matted green hair from her face.
"Mom" Izuku whispered, crying softly at the overwhelming relief he felt. Mitsuki rubbed his back, "Will she be okay?" Izuku asked, hiccupping afterwards.
"Time will tell" Uraraka told him, going back to healing Inko with her magic.
"Let's go, it'll let Ms. Ochako work easier" Mitsuki guided him out of the tent.
