A/N: just so you guys know this chapter is gonna start after a big time skip. I will try to fill in any holes from the skipped time with flashbacks as needed in future chapters.

Enjoy!

Ana walked into the arena, happy to finally be back on Monday Night Raw. Smack down was great and all but she was the only one of her friend group to be drafted. Having not seen Dean in almost 8 months since their schedules were so different. Only able to talk a couple times a week made her feel completely isolated.

After setting her bags down in her locker room, she wanted to find her friends and most importantly, Dean. She has never missed someone so much in her entire life. Catering was her first stop on her search knowing that she had a high chance of finding him there. The Bella's sat, talking amongst themselves. Their eyes widened when they finally caught on that Ana was standing there with a smile on her face.

"Ana!" they yelled before tackling her into a hug.

Laughing, Ana hugged them back. "I missed you girls too but I need to breathe."

Saying a quick sorry they let go before looking her over. Ana's appearance had changed. Her chocolate brown hair was now black with greyish, silver highlights and she was rocking a few new tattoos.

"You look great Ana!" Nikki complimented her friend.

"Have you seen Dean yet?" Brie asked, not wanting to delay the reunion.

Ana shook her head. "Not yet. I was looking for him when I saw you guys and I had to stop and see you."

"Well we'll take you to his locker room." Brie said before the trio linked arms and started walking.

"Have I missed anything?" Ana was curious. Every time she talked to her friends everything was fine and she knew that was a lie since trouble followed them everywhere.

The twins shared a look. "Well…"

The girls explained that not too long ago Dean started slipping again. It had gotten so bad that Seth and Roman had to explain to them who Mickey was and what they should do should they be stuck alone with him. He's been very high strung and moody and it's getting to the point that he can barely watch Ana on tv because when he does every little thing sets Mox off.

"He never told me any of this when we talked." Ana felt guilty to say the least.

"He didn't want you to worry about him sweetie." Brie tried to comfort her friend.

"And he made us promise not to tell you." Nikki quickly added.

Ana took a deep breath before sighing. "Maybe I should have fought the draft and stayed on Raw."

The twins stopped her outside of Dean's locker room. "Don't think of the past. He is right behind that door. Now smile and go see your lunatic."

Ana nodded and smiled before giving the twins a hug. "Thank you."

The twins walked away as Ana quietly knocked on the door. Hearing an aggravated go away, she waited a few seconds before knocking again. A string of curses was heard before the door swung open.

"How many time do I-"

"Surprise?" Ana gave him a sheepish smile, not expecting this reaction.

"Ana?"

Ana studied Dean for a moment. Taking in his appearance and his body language. "It's been a long time, Mox."

It's been so long since Ana has seen Mox that she almost forgot how different they were from each other and towards her.

"Uh… come in?" Mox stepped to the side, letting Ana come in before shutting the door. Ana took in the mess and the chaos that is his locker room. "Sorry about the mess."

"It's ok." Ana looked at Mox with a sad look on her face. "Can I at least have a hug?"

"Uh… y-yeah.."

Moxley awkwardly wrapped his arms around Ana who buried her face in his chest. Dean's cologne filled her nose and she finally felt at home.

"Ana?"

Still in his arms, she looked up. "Yeah Mox?"

"Can I try something?"

"Try what?" Ana asked, her brows furrowed.

"Just promise me you and Dean won't be upset."

"You have my word."

The room was dead quiet. Ana watched as the famous unhinged Moxley was actually nervous. Slowly Mox started lowering his head, waiting to see if Ana would pull away. When she didn't he figured, fuck it, and crashed his lips against hers.

At first Ana was shocked that Moxley was actually kissing her. There was a big difference between the two. Dean's kisses were quick little pecks or passionate or heated kisses. As for Mox's, this one was slow and gentle. Almost like he was holding back or scared to hurt her. Slowly Mox pulled away before tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Where did that come from Mox?"

"Nowhere special really." He tried to deflect.

Ana pulled away and put her hands on her hips. "Don't lie to me Moxley."

Mox stayed quiet for a moment before groaning. "I missed you, ok? You are the only woman that I've ever met who willingly confronted me. Who isn't scared of me. You've even gone out of your way to take care of me and make me feel like I wasn't a monster. And… and I think I love you.."

A/N: another one I know and I'm sorry.

I know this chapter is super short but I felt like it was necessary to capture Moxley's confession and make it the highlight of the chapter. Let me know what you think and comments are always welcome.
