Gibbs watched her walk back into the woods. 'She is fine.' Just knowing she was fine and unharmed for the most part, eased the pressure in his chest.

Much to her surprise, she had been allowed into the building by the security guard. In fact he escorted her all the way to Ziva's door. Alex listened for a moment, confirming she was indeed home. Scratch the bottom of the door, giving a howl.

Ziva stumbled out of the couch, nearly falling in to the ground. Swinging the door open, she gasped at seeing Luna standing there. "Luna!" Pulling her into a tight hug, she released a long breath. "I thought we had lost you."

"She came up the building." The guard said. "Glad she is back Ms. Da-vid."

"Thank you." Allowing Alex into the apartment, she closed the door behind them. Just as Alex was about to step foot into the living room, she was pulled back. "As happy as I am that you are back, you are in need of a bath." Ziva was quick to grab the bolting wolf, half carry-half drag her to the bathroom. Closing the bathroom door, she prepared the water. "Hop in."

Alex sat with her back against the wall. 'No.'

"Luna in the tub."

'No.'

"Get in."

'Not happening.'

"You're covered in dried blood, get in."

'N. O. No. You want it in Spanish, noh.'

Ziva crosses her arms, glaring down at the wolf. "Fine, you won't go in."

Alex narrowed her eyes at the agent. 'No.' Alex frowned as Ziva walked out of the bathroom, leaving her inside. 'Where are you going?' Alex listened as the front door opened and shut. 'Hey! You can't leave me in here!' Alex clawed the door, cursing the round door knob. 'Ziva!' She stopped at hearing the door opens and shut again. Only this time there was an extra set of footsteps. Stepping back as the door opened, Alex frowned at seeing Eyal. 'What are you doing here?'

Eyal simply smirked, bending down and picking Alex up in his arms. Alex squirmed and kicked, trying desperately to break free. "Hold still." Eyal placed her in the tub, opening the water flow and grabbing the shower head. The moment the water hit her fur, it flowed out underneath her. It was a mixture of colors, due to the blood, dirt and water. Once she was completely soaked, Eyal stepped back letting Ziva take over.

"Thank you handsome." Ziva took Alex's face in her hands, kissing the tip of the nose. "Told you to get in the tub."

Alex growled, baring her teeth at Eyal. 'First chance I get, you are getting castrated!'

'Next time just get in the tub.' Eyal shrugged, completely unfazed by her threat.

Ziva reached for the dog shampoo, pouring it onto Alex's back. 'Oh come on! Now I am going to be smelling like a damn poodle!'

Eyal bit back his laughter. "Neshama."

"Hmm?"

"You might want to change the shampoo for future baths." Eyal chocked on his laughter. The look on Alex was simply to much for him. "Wolves have sensitive nose, the chemicals in those shampoos can harm them."

"Oh!" Ziva quickly rinsed her off, removing all the evidence off her body. "Sorry Luna."

"Hang on." Eyal walked out, only to come back a few minutes later with a brown bottle. "Use this." Alex noticed it was his personal shampoo. "It should be fine for her."

"Thank you." Ziva worked quickly in cleaning her off. Scrubbing the her paws and legs. Brushing through her chest mane and untangling her tail. Hell the woman even brushed her canines. "Done. Eyal can you hand me the towel."

Alex watched them, calculating the perfect moment. Once he was close enough, she shook the water off. Both Ziva and Eyal yelled, trying to cover themselves from the water. Pleased with herself, she grinned up at both. 'Don't you ever put me in the tub again.'

Eyal growled, pushing his hair back. 'Just know payback is a bitch.'

When morning came around, Alex was ready to go. She wanted to get back to the office. She wanted to see the team again. Fall back into their routine once more. Well as back to normal as they could get. Soon she wouldn't even be able to chase her own tail. 'Ziva hurry up!'

Ziva rushed out of the room, grabbing her jacket and bag. "I'm going. You are worse than Gibbs."

'Now that's just mean.' Alex growled. 'Here comes the dog.'

Ziva opened the door, just as Eyal was about to knock. "Hey!"

"Morning, I was hoping to catch you before you left." Eyal leaned forward, giving her a quick kiss. "I saw this and thought it would be perfect for Luna." He held up a pink collar with a matching leash. 'Now who's the dog.'

Alex sat sulking in the elevator. Between Ziva and Eyal, she had no way of escaping the terrible deed. She stared at her reflection on the elevator doors. She looked so stupid.

'What's wrong? I can sense your annoyance.'

Alex grinned at hearing Nathan's voice. 'Just contemplating the pros and cons on disappearing Eyal.'

Nathan chuckled. 'What did he do now?'

'What hasn't he done! He put me in the tub to be bathed. He brought a pink collar and helped Ziva put it on! Pink Nathan! I hate pink!' Alex growled at hearing his laugh. 'It's not funny!'

'Sorry love. Unfortunaly we cannot make him disappear, that will just start a pack war. We can however get him back.'

Alex grinned, although to the rest of the world she just appeared to be panting. 'Do tell.'

'Leave it up to me.' Nathan said. 'Will you be with the team today?'

'Yes.' Alex hadn't forgotten the problem they were all facing. 'But once I make sure they are okay; I will be heading your way.'

'No!' Nathan's voice boomed in her mind. Surprisingly causing her to lay low on the ground. 'Shit, Alex I am sorry. I want-I need you to stay with your team. Do not, under any circumstances come here.'

'Nathan-'

'Listen to me, Elston knows what you mean to me.' There was a pause. 'And somehow, he has figured out about Ziva. I need you to stay with her, keep her close. I will have shadows on you two whenever I can. I want you far away from danger. I just got you, I am not going to risk losing you.'

Alex glanced up at the agent. Nathan was right, Ziva was now a part of their world. And although she didn't know yet, she was very important to both Eyal and his pack. 'Fine, I'll stay with them, but please be safe. You are not the only who doesn't want to take that risk.'

'Always love. But at the moment we are waiting, the scouts haven't yet seen anyone.'

'Let's hope they retreat.'

'Doubtful, Alex I will talk to you later, Hotchner is calling.'

Alex hated she wasn't there with him. She should be with her pack and mate. Fighting alongside them. But if there was a chance they could come after her team-her pack, she was the only one that could stop them. She needed to protect them and Gibbs.

Just as she was about to step out of the of the elevator, Tony and McGee pushed them back into the elevator.

"What's going on?" Ziva asked.

"Teenager strapped with a bomb, holding a classroom hostage." Tony explained. "Gibbs is already there."

"Hey you found luna!" Tim chuckled, ruffing her fur up.

Ziva nodded, following Tony out of the elevator and into the truck. "She arrived at my apartment last night."

"Well she came back just in time." Tim sighed. "She will come in handy."

Alex took in a deep breath. By the looks of it, this was going to be a tough one.

Arriving at the high school, alex followed the others off. Alex was overwhelmed in a way. The smells alone where throwing her off. She caught fear, anger and anxiety. You had local PD, swat and military running from side to side. Students running out of the school, screaming and yelling. Teachers and officers yelling for them to keep running towards another group of officers waiting. Alex glanced to her right, spotting the K-9 team waiting for orders.

"Luna come." Tim grabbed her by the collar, helping her jump into the back of the truck. "Tony where is the vest?"

"In the case McBlind."

Tim pulled out a black tactical dog vest. Strapping it onto her, he secured it under her belly. Jumping off the truck, she stared at her reflection in a black car. The vest fitted well, making her look even more buffer than she was. Big bold white letter were written on both sides. Left side said NCIS K-9, the right spelled her name Luna. On top of the vest she saw a few patches, from snarling teeth, to a wolf howling. Those must have been Tony's idea. She had to admit it, it made her feel proud of herself. Catching Gibbs scent, she watched him approaching the team. Making her way to him, she listened to as he began giving out his orders.

"Kids in a classroom in the south wing. SRT set up command post in the east wing." Gibbs briefed. "McGee, Ziva, recon the exterior. Put the gear down. DiNozzo with me." Gibbs made his way back to the school, Alex hot on his heels. Tony ran behind them, struggling to keep up and carry the equipment.

They walked into what appeared to be the principles office. Upon seeing her, the officers in the room stepped away from them. Their hands reaching for the weapons around their shoulders. 'Relax, i am not in a biting mood.'

"Officers." Gibbs gave him a 'talk' look. "What do we know?" The commanding officer, looked from Gibbs to Alex, not sure if it was safe to move or speak for that matter. "As long as that gun isn't focused on us, it's fine."

"Sorry, but not use to seeing a wolf as a k-9." He stumbled over his words, giving Gibbs a weak chuckle.

"What do we know officer?" Gibbs was getting impatient.

"Right, the targets name it Kody Meyers, 15 years old." He began. Alex decided to take a quick look around the office. They had a small tv with cameras facing the hallway, entrance and classroom doors. The officers had set up their monitors, showing the live footage of the ones securing the school. "According to the witness, he came to class with a bomb strapped to his chest. We set a perimeter outside the classroom. Evacuated all nonessentials. EOD's on site sweeping for secondaries."

'15, damn he's young.'

"How many hostages?" Tony asked.

"Four, maybe five. My men are doing a head count on the student body."

"The witness describe the device?" Gibbs asked.

The officer shook his head no. "She was rushed to the emergency, being treated for a panic attack."

"DiNozzo, find out who Kody Meyers is. Get his parents here." Gibbs ordered.

"On it."

He turned his attention back to the officer. "He try to make contact yet?"

"No, sir. Not a word." He gave Gibbs a look, borderline of a tease . "We didn't try to establish communication. Figured that was your job."

Gibbs wasn't impressed by his answer, deciding to completely ignore the statement. "I need to get to that hallway, only way to get through him is speaking with him."

"Alright, follow me."

"Luna come."

Alex followed closely between the two, checking the rear once in a while. They didn't have enough intel to discard the chance of a helper or partner. 'I wonder what could have driven him to such state.' Walking trough a double glass door into the hostile hallway, she slowed her pace. 'Here we go.'

"Classroom's around the corner, second door on the right. The rooms can only be locked with the faculty key. Kody wouldn't have access." They stopped, peeking around the corner and down the hallway. Swat had a three man team, posted on each side. "My tact team's ready to go. Snipers are moving into position outside. If you want to take him down."

Alex growled. 'He's just a kid jackass.'

Again Gibbs ignored his statement, stroking Alex's ear. "Any other way into the room?"

"One door and a wall of windows." The officer replied. "Blueprints are on their way, so we can check for ducts."

Gibbs nodded, pushing his way off the wall and walking towards the class room door. He was quick to signal all officers to hold their positions. Alex treaded carefully, avoiding her nails from clicking the floors. Following his lead, she stood between him and the door.

"Boss." Both Gibbs and Alex jumped at the sudden whisper/yell from Tony. Seeing the look on both his and her face, Tony cringed. "Sorry." Gibs sighed, mouthing come on and waving his hand. Alex grinned at seeing the look of embarrassment he had. Reaching them both, he whispered. "I found Kody's father, he was at a conference in Washington, D.C. MP's are escorting him now."

'Please tell that isn't all he has.' Alex kept her eyes on the door and officers. They were getting antsy at simply standing. She didn't blame them, they were trained to move, not to sit and wait. Catching a glimpse of Tony heading back behind the teams, she focused Gibbs once more. 'You have a plan? Because a plan would be good, right about now.'

Gibbs leaned against the lookers, clearing his throat. "Kody Meyers, this is special agent Gibbs, NCIS." Getting no response, he called the boys name again. "Kody!"

"Get away from the door."

"Talk to me first."

"Get away from the door, or I...I blow this thing!" Both Gibbs and Alex took a step back. "I am sending someone out."

Alex frowned. 'Just like that?'

Gibbs signaled the teams to stand down, holding Alex by the grip on the vest. Alex's ears flickered at the sound of soft footsteps approaching the door, followed by a low *I'm coming out.* As soon as the door opened, Gibbs ordered Alex to grab the girl.

Once she was fully out of the classroom, Alex rushed to her, pushing her towards Gibbs. Gibbs grabbed the girl, passing her to Tony and ordered to brief her. Just as he reached for the open door, it was slammed shut. Gibbs sighed, stopping himself from hitting the lockers. Ordering Alex to stay and watch the door, he walked back around the corner. Alex could smell the fear coming from the teens. Even from the bomber, in fact he reeked the most of both fear and depression. That was odd, especially coming from the one with the bomb. It was after a good 20 minutes before Gibbs reappeared. Alex noticed something in his hand, but if she was to guess, it was for the teen sounding out of breath. Only to her surprise, he didn't stop. Passed her and pulled the door open. Alex scrambled to her feet, Slippering a few too many times, than she wanted to admit. Walking in with Gibbs, she stood by his side, staring down bomber.

'This might just be the stupidest plan you have ever had.' Alex growled.
