Disclaimer: I don't own Elsa, Anna, Cassandra or any other Disney characters or locations that appear or are mentioned in this work of fiction, Disney does.
NOTE: At last, the final part of this lengthy arc! For those of you who have reached this point, thank you for reading, commenting and enjoying this rewrite, I really enjoyed doing it. Just so you know, I plan to continue this series beyond this 'arc', after all, plenty of story possibilities are opened up once this arc finishes, it would be a shame to just end this series here. But I will be taking a break from this series for a while. At the very least, this is the last Frozen content from me for the remainder of the year.
Just a few minutes later, the group arrived outside; greeted by the starry night sky, they walked from the glacier and towards the direction of the icy shore.
"Feels so good to be outside again!" declared Elsa delightfully.
"Yeah..." replied Anna. "So much happened, kinda feels like we were in there longer than it feels like." she added, before turning to face Cassandra. "Does this area look familiar?"
"Yeah." answered Cassandra, briefly doing a three-sixty, looking around. "I saw this glacier when I arrived, but didn't think there would be an entrance here; So I traveled through the mountains to the right."
"Is there anything you need to get from were you lived?" asked Elsa.
"Nope, nothing important enough to make the trip anyway. I'd need to go back through Ahtohallan and I've had my fill of this place."
"Same here." stated Elsa, before she directed her right hand to the ground and created a large slab of ice, however Silvia walked by her and commented...
"Wait, that's no longer required."
Silvia then directed her right hand ahead of her and created a portal to the familiar shore of the Enchanted Forest.
"Ahtohallan said my portals would work upon leaving after-all." stated Silvia.
"Thanks." replied Elsa and Anna in near unison, before they walked though the portal with their frozen parents to the other side and Elsa gently placed them down on their backs as Silvia followed them through the opening, while Cassandra cautiously walked through it, which brought a smile to Anna's face at the sight.
"First time through a portal?" asked Anna.
"No, actually." replied Cassandra. "Just a bit wary around portals."
"Oh..." replied Anna, before she noticed Elsa kneel to the right of their mother and let out a lengthy sigh, which prompted Anna to walk to Elsa's left, kneel and placed her hand to Elsa's shoulder. "We can relax now."
"Not yet." replied Elsa with a little smile, briefly looking to Anna, before turning her attention back to their parents. "We can revive Father in Arendelle, but what about mother?"
"What do you mean?" asked Anna.
"She's Northuldra." stated Elsa. "Rona- her mother, is nearing her end; should we re-introduce Mother to her people and let her be with her own mother for the time being?"
"Oh, right..." replied Anna wide-eyed. "I don't see why not. Mother may not be in the best condition to answer a flood of questions anyway, which we can ask later. Let's bring her to her mother."
"Yeah." replied Elsa, before she stood and lifted their parents up. "Let's move to higher ground, towards the tree line."
"Hey, wait." stated Anna. "What about Ahtohallan?"
"What about it?" asked Elsa.
"You said you'd move it." replied Anna.
"I know what I said. Come on." stated Elsa, before she began walking away from the shore.
However, Elsa only gets a few steps in before Anna quickly walked ahead of her.
"You're gonna do it, aren't you?"
"Mother and Father are more important than a spirit stuck in the middle of the sea." answered Elsa, with an annoyed frown.
"Hey..." stated Silvia, walking to Elsa's left. "You made an agreement, with an Ancient. Which has shown to be able to influence you."
"Only when we were on the island." stated Elsa.
"Still, you made an agreement." stated Silvia. "You are required to honor it."
"Like hell I am!" declared Elsa. "It expects me to move an island! An ISLAND! I don't care what it 'claims' I'm capable of, that's something I can't do!" she added, before Cassandra then spoke up...
"Then don't move the island."
"Huh?" replied Elsa.
"Ahtohallan's the glacier, right; move that." stated Cassandra, before Anna gasped with a smile.
"Oh yeah! Cassandra's right! Ahtohallan is frozen; a giant hunk of ice; and ice is your thing! If you still need help though, you have me; you don't have to do this alone." stated Anna, before she took Elsa's hands in hers. "We started this journey together; we'll end it together."
Elsa let out a sigh.
"You're right... Cassandra's right." stated Elsa, before smiling at Anna. "This journey has been so stressful and changed our entire lives in just a day."
"I'll help too." added Cassandra, smiling. "Don't know how much help I'll be though, but every little bit helps, right?"
"Thanks." replied Elsa, before she looked to Silvia. "Do you mind looking after our parents until we return?" asked Elsa, as Iduna and Agnarr's frozen bodies returned to the sand.
"I don't mind at all." replied Silvia with a smile. "I can just relax and enjoy the sound of the water."
"I'm trusting you." stated Elsa, before Anna's added...
"We're trusting you."
"Right." stated Elsa.
"Don't worry." stated Silvia. "I stand by my word. No harm will come to them while you all do your thing. You can take the portal back to save time."
"Thanks." stated Elsa.
"Yeah." replied Anna. "Thanks for all your help."
"No need to thank me, we're friends now, right?"
"Right!" replied Anna with a smile, before she looked to Elsa with a smile. "Let's go finish this, together."
"Yeah." replied Elsa with a smile, before she, Anna and Cassandra walked back through the portal, before it closed, leaving Silvia alone with the frozen bodies of Iduna and Agnarr, who looked at them with a smile.
"Well, with this, I'd say I'll secure my friendship with them. A surprisingly powerful set of allies I've made for just a day's work."
Arriving at Ahtohallan's frozen shore again, the three gazed upon the massive wall of ice in front of them.
"That's... really big." commented Elsa, feeling her confidence in the coming act rapidly deflating.
"You're not alone." stated Anna, looking to her with a smile, returned by Elsa.
"Right, we're stronger together."
Elsa then directed her free hand to the ground and created another slab of ice.
"Let's get to the top." stated Elsa as she stepped onto her ice, joined by Anna and Cassandra, though Anna happily commented...
"Oh, we can ride the glacier back like we're riding on this ice!"
"That's the plan." stated Elsa.
However, upon rising themselves above the glacier, Cassandra cringed and commented...
"That's a LOT of ice."
Elsa simply took a slow, deep breath and exhaled, before flying them ahead, pass the front edge of the glacier and after just a few minutes travel, they had yet to reach even a quarter of travel and the further they flew, the more daunting Elsa found the task.
"Let's just stop here." stated Elsa, before she landed them on the glaciers surface.
Following the group stepping off the platform and turning around to face the sea, Elsa took a slow, deep breath and exhale, before offering her left hand to Anna.
"Together." stated Elsa, which prompted a smile from Anna as she took her hand, before Elsa offered her right to Cassandra and Anna commented...
"Take Elsa's hand. We can all combine our power; We discovered this a couple days ago."
"Well that's convenient." stated Cassandra as she took Elsa's hand.
"Sure is!" replied Anna. "To think that something we stumbled across would help in moving a glacier! It's so exciting!" she added, before Elsa chuckled.
"Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself."
"Look on the bright side." stated Anna. "Sure, this trip has been a series of ups and downs; both of us nearly dying, but we got what we came here to get. It's even better 'cause I'll be able to bring our parents back."
"Yeah..." replied Elsa with a smile. "We did achieve our goal."
"And we got a whole new side of the family to get to know and new friends." replied Anna, looking to Cassandra upon mentioning friends, who only smiled. "Besides, if we can move a glacier, just imagine what we can do for Arendelle! You got Water and Wind, maybe I can learn Earth! I could create new land, oh or I could help the ground be fertile with my healing! I can already grow flowers, I could help the farmers grow their crops!"
"Hehe, slow down there." replied Elsa with a chuckle. "You're just one person, you'll burn yourself out trying to help everyone."
"Yeah..." replied Anna with a smile. "There's just so many options opening up now that I didn't think of. We could even get the spirits help with things. Arendelle could grow to become a name known around the world!"
Anna's excited comment prompted a chuckle from Elsa and Cassandra, before Elsa added...
"One step at a time Anna; Let's just try to move this glacier for now."
"OK." replied Anna with a smile, before she moved a little ahead of Elsa and reached out her left hand to Cassandra, who took her hand as they formed a circle and Elsa spoke to her...
"To do this, we send our magic into each other. Since we have the same power though, I dunno if we'll feel anything. For Anna and I, I feel the warmth of her magic within me and she feels the coolness of mine."
"Alright." replied Cassandra. "Just warn me if do something wrong."
"Don't worry." replied Anna with a smile. "It doesn't take much effort; not like you're trying to freeze either of us."
Cassandra simply smiles, before Elsa and Anna look to each other and began to join their magic; their held hands glowing with their respective magic, before a red aura slowly traveled up Elsa's arm, while a blue one traveled up Anna's.
Seconds after, the two look to Cassandra, who clearly looked nervous.
"Ready?" asked Elsa.
"Uh... how much has Raps told you two about me?" asked Cassandra.
"That you're a good person." stated Elsa with a smile, before Anna added...
"... and that's what matters."
Cassandra chuckled and commented...
"What is it with me and finding such nice people?"
"Well..." stated Anna with a smile. "Being associated with Rapunzel gives you a heads up with us."
"Heh, ok then." replied Cassandra, before she looked down to her hand holding Elsa's and briefly sighed, before her hand glowed with her magic, followed by Elsa's.
"Hmm, don't feel anything different." stated Elsa. "You?"
"Nothing so far-oh!" replied Cassandra, before the color of the glow of Elsa's magic shifted to a redder tone as her icy clothing began to gain shades of red. "I can feel a little heat!"
"Yep!" replied Anna with smile as her glass coat also gained frosty edges, almost like fur. "That's what we mean when we say, 'combine our magic'."
"Is it safe?" asked Cassandra. "You're clothing is changing."
"Yep." answered Elsa. "The joining of our magic is temporary. Combining our power like this should give us the collective power to move the glacier."
"OK then..." replied Cassandra, before looking to her hand holding Anna's and repeated the act, the blue aura of her magic traveling up Anna's arm while a blue-ish red aura from Anna traveled up Cassandra's, who cooed. "Oohh, that warmth feels nice."
Elsa and Anna both shared a chuckle, before Anna commented...
"Now we just wait a few moments for your magic mix with ours."
"I guess my clothing changing like Her Majesty is the sign, huh?" asked Cassandra."
"Yep." answered Elsa. "Once our magic has fully mixed, we share each others abilities temporarily, my magic has fire infused within it."
"And mine has ice." added Anna.
"So I'll be able to make an ice sword with fire around it?" asked Cassandra with a smile.
"Yep!" replied Anna. "We did that when we first tested joining our magic."
"I like the sound of that." commented Cassandra with a grin. "More options- oh!" she added, before a small gasp left her as her green, icy bodysuit began to gain some red coloring, before Anna chuckled.
"Looks like you're dressed for Christmas."
Cassandra simply smirked at the remark, before Elsa stated...
"Ok, we're all joined and ready. Let's work together to move this glacier."
"Alright." replied Anna and Cassandra.
The trio then all briefly closed their eyes and took a breath, before opening them and a redish-blue glow quickly spread out over the ice at their feet.
The combined reach of their magic managed to reach the left and right edges of the glacier and the front of it facing the sea, before they all groaned from the strain as the impressive range was still lacking as they could barely reach halfway up the glacier.
"It's just so big." commented Anna.
"And deep." added Elsa.
"Maybe moving an entire glacier in its entirety is beyond our combined power." commented Cassandra, before Elsa groaned and replied...
"Well we just started, we can't- wait, in its entirety? Hold on you two, stop!"
"What's up?" asked Anna, as the visual reach of their magic rapidly shrunk, then Elsa pulled her hands from the two, tendrils of blue-red energy briefly connecting them.
"Why even move the WHOLE glacier when we've already been inside Ahtohallan!?" declared Elsa. "Ahtohallan isn't the whole glacier, but a small fraction of it!"
Anna and Cassandra then looked surprised by the realization and Cassandra commented...
"That does make sense."
Elsa then lifted her left hand towards the sky and released a large icy-fiery plume of her magic.
"What are you doing?" asked Cassandra.
"Releasing the magic Anna shared with me."
"So that's what you meant by temporary." stated Cassandra.
After just a few moments, Elsa's mixed plume of magic shifted to blue as the red left her clothing as well, before she directed her hand down to the ice to her left and created a mirror replica of herself, except with her lost braid.
"Show yourself Ahtohallan; we need to talk!"
The replica soon comes alive, looking at Elsa and comments, with the same calmness in its voice...
"You are correct; I do not encompass the entirety of this glacier."
However, it didn't use Elsa's voice, rather the same unfamiliar female voice they heard from the memory of Ahtohallan making the deal with their mother.
"Then why ask me to move the entire island!?" asked Elsa, clearly annoyed.
"I never asked you to move the island; you made that assumption." answered Ahtohallan, which prompted Elsa to stop and think for a moment, before Ahtohallan continued, "What I requested was to move 'me', not the island or this glacier."
Anna and Cassandra then shared a glance and Anna smiled and commented...
"It's actually right; It did say to move it, not the glacier."
The comment prompted an aggravated groan from Elsa.
"I'd punch you if you were real!" declared Elsa. "Why not correct me!? You were so willing to correct me before!"
Ahtohallan then placed it fingers to the corners of its mouth and created an artificial smile.
"I believe you humans call it a prank; did it work?"
Elsa's left eye then twitches as she steps towards Ahtohallan.
"Oh, you motherf-"
"Hey! Hey!" stated Anna, before she quickly grabbed Elsa by her right shoulder. "Calm down; Ahtohallan lacks human contact, remember?"
Elsa then takes a slow, deep breath, before an even slower exhale, calming herself; though still looked agitated, but smirked.
"Fine." stated Elsa calmly as she wiped her hands. "I'm done. I don't have to do this. You never put a 'when' on the move. So I'm not required to do this now. I can play this word game too. Besides, this will give you the chance to prove yourself; I'm not moving a thing I don't trust closer to my new family." she added, before creating another floating sheet of ice to her left. "Come on you two, we're leaving."
"Are you serious?" asked Cassandra.
"Yes." answered Elsa.
"I see." stated Ahtohallan. "I prank you, now it's your turn."
"Think of it however you want." stated Elsa. "I'm not moving you now; I'll do it later."
"Well as long as it happens." stated Ahtohallan. "I've waited this long." it added as Cassandra and Anna joined Elsa on the sheet, though Anna looked back to Ahtohallan and commented...
"For future reference, pranks are harmless. As long as no one is hurt or killed, pranks are fine."
"Well that limits what I can do." stated Ahtohallan, which prompted a disturb look on all three's faces, before Ahtohallan once again made itself smile. "I'd say 'got'cha' at this point, right?"
"H-Hopefully." replied Anna with a nervous chuckle.
Ahtohallan then watched the trio quickly leave, Elsa's light fading in the distance.
"Interaction with people after so long is so enjoyable." stated Ahtohallan, before it then looked down to its hands with a genuine smirk and comment, "Thank-you for the body, Elsa."
However, Ahtohallan's smile faded before its new body suddenly fell to a pile of snow that was blown away by the wind.
"So you're just gonna leave Ahtohallan like that?" asked Anna as they all sat while they traveled through the air.
"Absolutely." replied Elsa. "It made me think it's the glacier, then it can be stranded on the glacier." she added, before Cassandra commented...
"With all do respect Your Majesty, given you don't trust it yet, is it wise to give it a body free to use, one that looks like you?"
Elsa looked to Cassandra curiously.
"You bring up a good point. No body for Ahtohallan then; don't need some creepy snow clone of me popping up."
Upon the group returning to the shore of the Enchanted Forest, they saw Silvia laying on the ground beside the frozen Agnarr and Iduna. Silvia though sits up upon their landing.
"What happened?" asked Silvia. "Where's the glacier?"
"Same place its always been." answered Elsa. "I'm not letting a spirit who can't move jerk me around. There's no time limit on the move, so I'll do it later once it's earned my trust."
"Ahtohallan's ok with that?" asked Silvia, getting to her feet as the trio walked towards her and Elsa knelt to Iduna's side.
"Yeah." replied Elsa. "It's actually annoying how okay with it, it was. Saying it waited this long."
"Hmm, well Ancients like Ahtohallan tend to perceive time differently than we do." stated Silvia.
"Whatever..." sighed Elsa, before she stood and used her magic to lift her parents up. "Let's just get to higher ground and revive Mother."
"Alright then." replied Silvia, before Elsa created another sheet of ice and they all stepped onto it and headed towards the treeline.
"Did anything happen while we were gone?" asked Elsa.
"Nope." replied Silvia, "Just a peaceful, relaxing wait." she added, before Elsa let out a sigh, and she looked to her with a smile.
"Thank you for everything you've done, Silvia."
"Heh, didn't you already thank me?" asked Silvia with a smile.
"Yeah, but I want to say it again, thank you."
"Well you're welcome."
The group soon arrived at the tree-line, though Elsa landed just before it.
"It'll be too dark in the forest." stated Elsa as she stepped off the platform with the others. "We got plenty of moonlight here." she added, before she lowered her parents down, though a few yards between them, Agnarr to the right of Iduna and Elsa knelt to Iduna's right and looked to Anna with a smile. "Ready to do this, Anna?"
Anna briefly took a breath, before she joined Elsa and knelt to her right with a smile.
"Yeah, let's bring Mother back." stated Anna, while Silvia and Cassandra looked on in interest.
"Ok..." replied Elsa, before she sighed and gazed down at her mother, before she waved her left hand over Iduna, who was quickly unfrozen.
Now seeing their unfrozen but lifeless mother, tears willed up in both sisters eyes, but Anna took another shuttering breath, before she moved her hands over her mother and along with her hands, Iduna's body is enveloped in a red aura.
"This is gonna be the first time reviving an actual person." stated Anna. "Not a fairy whose nearly dead." she added, before she felt Elsa's hand on her shoulder, prompted her to briefly look to Elsa with a smile, before returning her attention back to her mother.
A few tense, expectant moments pass, going into minutes with no visual change in Iduna's condition. Elsa noticed in Anna's eye's that she looked sleepy, fatigue already hitting her. Elsa didn't want to speak so Anna could focus, but she also couldn't have Anna risk her own well being.
"Hey." stated Elsa, patting Anna's shoulder.
"I don't get it." stated Anna, briefly closing her eyes and shaking her head. "I feel something, it's faint, but it's like Mother's drowning all over again and I'm reaching towards her but I can't quite reach her."
"Well, Mother did drown." stated Elsa, before both sisters were surprised when Cassandra quickly knelt to Iduna's left.
"There must still be water in her lungs!" declared Cassandra, before she placed her hands to Iduna's chest and began a couple steady compression's. "Keep doing what you're doing." she added, before moving her hands hand up towards Iduna's face and pinching her nose with one hand and opening her mouth with the other before forcing air into her for a few breaths, before returning her hands to her chest.
With the repeat chest compression's, a smile came to Anna's face.
"I can feel it! That's working." declared Anna, while tears streamed down both sisters faces.
Following another couple of breaths from Cassandra, Anna felt the spark of life return to their mother, before Cassandra was a little surprised when Iduna expelled a mouth-full of water into her own mouth, before she quickly rolled Iduna to her right and she expelled a few seconds more water, before a few gargles were heard from her.
Cassandra then placed Iduna on her back again and quickly pressed in on her chest again.
"Come on, come back to them!" stated Cassandra, while Elsa and Anna looked on with hope in their teary eyes.
After just two more compression's and Cassandra about to breath into her lungs, Iduna's body lurched and expelled more water and following Cassandra turning her over again, Iduna expelled even more water; easily at least five seconds of water leaving her body, before the sisters both nearly broke down in delight upon hearing a greedy gasp of breath from Iduna, then another, and another, until Iduna's evidence of her life 'calmed' to more labored breathing, although Iduna's eyes were barely open, she didn't appear to be fully conscious, if she was at all, but she was breathing.
"She's alive!" cried Elsa, while Silvia walked to Iduna's feet and commented.
"Would'ya look at that; back to the land of the living."
"Thank you so much Anna!" declared Elsa as she quickly hugged Anna, who gave a weak, teary chuckle.
"You did your part too..." replied Anna, before Elsa released her and Elsa was surprised when Anna abruptly passes out, limply falling to her right.
"No, no, no!" gasped Elsa, reaching to Anna and lifting her limp body up.
"Is she..." stated Cassandra.
"N-No..." replied Elsa, before taking a breath, "Healing weakens her, the worse the injury, the more it drains her. Ahyoka said reviving wouldn't kill her, just make her pass out."
"Oh." replied Cassandra with a sigh of relief.
Elsa then noticed Silvia create a portal to her right and walked through it for just a few seconds, before she returned, knelt beside them and offer three palm-sized vials of a pink liquid in her right hand.
"These are for your parents and Her Highness." stated Silvia.
"What is it?" asked Elsa.
"While they won't heal injuries, they will provide a temporary boost of energy." stated Silvia. "Enough to wake them both, and even allow your mother to stand and walk, but your mother will need to eat within thirty minutes or she'll pass out."
"Thank you." replied Elsa, taking the vials.
"Heh, well I feel kinda bad that I haven't been much of a guard; being told not to interfere and all."
"You did what you could." stated Elsa with a smile, "You've been a great help despite that." she added, before Elsa offered one of the vials to Cassandra, "Give this to our mother."
Following Cassandra taking one of the vials, Elsa opened one of the two remaining in her hands and placed the opening to Anna's lips and carefully tilted it up, allowing Anna's unconscious body to realize liquid in her mouth before beginning to drink.
Cassandra meanwhile lifted Iduna's also limp body up into a sitting position, placing her right leg behind her for support before placing the vial to Iduna's lips, though Iduna weakly moved her mouth from the vial.
"I know drinking something is the last thing you want to do right now, but this will help." stated Cassandra, before she once again placed the vial to Iduna's lips, though she again turned her head away with a small, weak groan, Cassandra though placed her right hand to the back of Iduna's head to prevent movement and placed the vial to her lips again, forcing Iduna to drink the small amount of liquid before Cassandra lowered Iduna back to the ground and Silvia commented...
"It'll take about a minute to fully take effect, but they should come around soon."
Just a few moments pass before Anna came around in Elsa's hold, blinking her eyes open before she looked to Elsa, who smiled at her.
"What happened?" asked Anna.
"You passed out after reviving mother." answered Elsa.
"Oh, right." replied Anna, before she sat up on her own power and looked to Iduna laying on the ground.
"Silvia gave me a couple vials of liquid to give you, Mother and Father to regain your energy." stated Elsa, before Anna looked to Silvia and commented...
"Thanks."
"You're welcome." stated Silvia.
"Guess the power-up Ahtohallan gave us didn't affect the downsides of my healing." stated Anna, before Silvia commented...
"You were also pretty active with your magic and healing her Majesty before-hand too though."
"Right." stated Anna. "I'll just have to make sure I eat plenty before reviving Father."
Elsa and Anna were then quickly alerted when Iduna began to stir, shifting around with a groan, which prompted Cassandra and Silvia to silently step aside, towards the frozen Agnarr, giving the sisters some privacy; before Elsa and Anna were a little surprised when Iduna flinched violently as if waking from a nightmare and suddenly sat up.
"Nokk stop!"
However, the sudden motion and fright was clearly too much for Iduna at the moment before her eyes rolled back and she passes out. Elsa places a hand to Iduna's shoulder, which prompted her to wake with a flinch and groggily look towards Elsa and Anna, whom smiled with tears in their eyes.
"Mother." commented the sister's with delight in unison as Anna took hold of Iduna's hand.
Iduna looked as though she had been woken up in the middle of the night; eyes barely open and clearly groggy.
"Elsa... Anna..." commented Iduna, before she gave a weak smile. "Is it really you?"
"Yes." answered Elsa, tears now streaming down her face, joined by Anna as she squeezed Iduna's hand and added...
"We're here; You're alive!"
"I'm... alive?" questioned Iduna, her eyes widening in surprise. "So, you two, are still alive too?"
"Y-Yeah." replied Elsa, her voice cracking as she was about to let the overwhelming emotion have its way with her and Anna already there as she closed her eyes unable to speak as she let the tears flow.
However, Elsa saw Iduna's face frown up in clear emotion as tears welled up in her eyes and her bottom lip quivered, before turning her head away and closing her eyes.
"I'm so sorry!" cried Iduna. "I don't deserve this!"
"Y-Yes you do!" declared Elsa tearfully.
"Yeah!" added Anna. "We're just glad to have both of you back!"
Following a few sniffles from Iduna, she questioned...
"Both?"
Iduna then looked back to Elsa and Anna curiously.
"Agnarr's here too!? Where is he!?"
Iduna then quickly attempted to sit up, but struggled with it; However, she does look to her right, passed Elsa to see the frozen body of Agnarr and gasped out his name in sadness. However, Elsa quickly moves over to block Iduna's sight of him.
"Hey! Hey! Don't worry! Father will be fine, I promise! We decided to bring you back first." stated Elsa.
"Why?" asked Iduna sadly, before she lifted her left arm up over her face. "If you're not going to question me, why bother? I don't deserve saving."
"You're our mother!" declared Anna. "You do deserve saving!"
Elsa then reached up and pulled Iduna's arm down from her face.
"It would be a lie to say we aren't a little upset with you; but there are more important matters to discuss and you're in no condition right now to face a flood of questions about your past."
"Yeah..." added Anna. "That's for later, right now, we'd like to bring you back to your- our people."
"My people?" questioned Iduna sadly, before turning her gaze away from them. "I can't. I can't go back; I abandoned them." she added, before Anna responded...
"I'm sure they'll welcome you back with open arms, especially your sister."
"Yeah." replied Elsa with a smile. "Magna would love to see you, I'm sure."
"Magna's... still alive!?" asked Iduna, turning to face her daughters again.
"Yep." replied Anna with a smile. "We met her, we met everyone in the camp."
"I assumed she died in the fighting." stated Iduna, before she averted her gaze and added lowly, "... it made it easier..."
Iduna's comment prompted a brief pause from Elsa and Anna, though Elsa commented...
"Your mother is alive too; but her time is limited. We wanted to give you the chance to be with her and say good-bye."
The comment prompted a concerned gasp from Iduna.
"Mother's... dying?"
"Yeah." replied Anna. "We can't force you, but I'm sure you'll regret it if you don't take this chance."
Iduna averts her gaze before closing her eyes as tears fell from her eyes, before a shuttering sigh left her.
"Ok, I'll go."
"Great." replied Elsa, before reaching her left hand under Iduna's back. "Let's see if you can stand." she added, before Anna quickly stepped to Iduna's left side and helped in lifting Iduna to her feet.
Elsa and Anna found that Iduna lacked the strength to stand on her own, before Anna placed Iduna's left arm over her shoulders to aid her, while she spoke to Elsa.
"I got Mother, you get Father."
"Ok." replied Elsa, before she looked to her frozen father and extended her left hand towards him and lifted him from the ground and moved him closer.
Elsa and Anna noticed, while a saddened look came to Iduna's face at the state Agnarr was in, she was clearly surprised by Elsa's show of magic.
"You're using your magic..."
"Yep." replied Elsa with a smile. "Some things happened while you and father were gone, we'll tell you about it later, when you've recovered, but I'm fine with my magic now."
Iduna then sighs sadly.
"No thanks to me."
Elsa gave a concerned smile, and was about to reply, before Iduna looked at her, then curiously commented...
"You're hair, what happened? It's a mess."
The question prompted a chuckle from Elsa as she ran her right hand through her ruffled hair.
"Nothing compared to having you and father back." replied Elsa. "I'll get it fixed up when we get home."
"Home..." sighed Iduna with a little smile, before she finally noticed the two additional women standing a couple of yards from them, their back to them.
"Who're they?" asked Iduna, which prompted Silvia and Cassandra to turn around upon being mentioned, though Anna answered...
"Friends; The 'gifted' one on the left is Silvia; she's the reason we're even out here."
Silvia then took a few steps towards them, and gave a slight bow.
"Silvia Einsland; It's wonderful to meet you, Your Majesty."
"And that's Cassandra." stated Anna, "We rescued her from Ahtohallan. She's friends with Rapunzel; the daughter of King Frederic and Queen Arianna in Corona."
Cassandra then stepped up and bowed as well.
"Your Majesty."
"H-hi..." greeted back Iduna, before Silvia smiled and commented...
"Well your daughter is Queen now, so maybe it should be Your Highness?"
As if just dawning on her, Iduna looked to Elsa with surprise.
"I'm sorry."
"It's ok." replied Elsa with a smile, before Anna added...
"Yeah, Elsa's doing a great job as Queen. The people love her!"
The commented brought a smile to Iduna's face, before Silvia commented...
"Without the mist, my portal magic works; I can save us the couple hours travel back to the camp with a portal, which I strongly recommend since Her Majesty/Highness needs to eat soon."
"Portal magic?" questioned Iduna. "Others with magic exist?"
"Yep." replied Silvia with a smile. "There's a variety of people out in the world, but that's for another time when you've recovered." she added, before she extending her left hand out and created a portal to a random spot in the forest, much to Iduna's curiosity. "We go through there and it's just a few minutes walk to your people."
Anna then looked to Iduna and asked...
"Think you can manage a few minutes of walking?"
"Yeah." replied Iduna. "I'm starting to feel a bit better."
"Alright then." stated Silvia, before she walked through the portal, followed by Cassandra; then Elsa with Agnarr; lastly, Anna aided Iduna in her first shaky steps towards the portal.
Iduna stumbled a little just shy of stepping through, but Anna braced her and placed her right hand around Iduna's waist.
"You ok?" asked Elsa from the other side.
"Yeah, I'm fine." answered Iduna. "Legs just feel a bit heavy." she added, before resuming her walk, and she and Anna pass through the portal, which closes shortly after, though gained Iduna's brief attention before they slowly walked towards the Northuldra camp.
Silvia and Cassandra took the lead while Elsa joined Anna and Iduna, standing to her mother's right and taking her free hand, which prompted Iduna to look at her with a smile, joined by Elsa, who soon asked...
"I do have one question mother, you don't need to answer if you don't want to though."
"I have no right to refuse any questions you ask me." replied Iduna.
Elsa hesitated briefly, before squeezing her mother's hand.
"How much do you remember? After the ship went down?"
"Well... I remember Nokk pushing me down into the sea, then waking up to you two."
"Really?" asked Anna. "Nothing in-between that?" she added, before she and Elsa shared a curious glance.
"No, nothing." replied Iduna. "Why?"
"It's nothing." stated Elsa with a smile. "Nothing you need to worry about."
Iduna was clearly curious, but said nothing.
Just a few minutes of walking later, Iduna's walking improved; less of a tired shuffle that required aid and placing much of her weight on Anna, to a more normal upright walking that used Anna to maintain her balance more than anything.
The group soon saw the light of campfires and lots of talking and laughing ahead of them.
"Sound's like a party." stated Silvia, before Anna commented...
"Well it hasn't been long since the mist was removed."
Elsa then commented to Silvia and Cassandra to stop, before she looked to Iduna.
"Do you need a moment before we reach the camp?"
Iduna let out a lengthy sigh, before she pulled her left arm from Anna's shoulders, but placed her hand to Anna's right shoulder and answered...
"I'm ok."
Elsa and Anna both smiled, before they continued on.
Entering the camp, the group saw that there indeed was a celebration going on; although their first visit wasn't particularly gloomy, the overall mood was much brighter now. Despite the celebration though, the group saw a number of eyes turn to them upon their emergence from the forest, in particular, Cassandra and Iduna. While Cassandra gave a nervous wave of her hand in greeting, Iduna averted her gaze from the eyes as they walked through the camp.
"They're back!" declared a few Northuldra with delight, while Elsa and Anna gave a nervous smile and gave a wave of their hand as well from the delightful greeting of their arrival, before they saw Honeymaren run up to them.
"Hey! Whatever you did, the mist is-oh!" stated Honeymaren, gasping as she saw Iduna and her eyes when wide. "I-Iduna!?"
"Y-Yeah?" replied Iduna curiously. "I'm sorry, I don't know you."
"I-I'm your niece!" replied Honeymaren with a smile. "I'm your sister's daughter!"
"Oh..." replied Iduna, her eyes widening in surprise, before she smiled. "It's very nice to meet you."
"You two look just alike!" declared Honeymaren, before Elsa commented...
"We're heading to Rona's home."
"Oh! Of course!" gasped Honeymaren, before she took Iduna's hand that was on Anna's shoulder and pulled her. "I'll take you to her!"
However, Honeymaren's excited tug of Iduna's hand caused her to gasp as she stumbled and fell to her hands and knees.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" declared Honeymaren.
"She's weak right now." stated Elsa, as she and Anna helped Iduna back to her feet.
"I'm so, so sorry!" replied Honeymaren.
"It's ok." replied Iduna with a little smile, before Silvia commented...
"Well, while you all have your family reunion, Cassandra and I will stay here and join the celebration."
"I'll lead you to your sister and mother." stated Honeymaren. "With the mist gone Rona wanted to see the night sky, so my mother helped her outside."
"Thank you." replied Iduna.
Honeymaren then happily lead the trio further into camp, before she looked back to Iduna with a smile and commented...
"It's so great to finally meet you! Do you recognize anyone?"
"Not at the moment." replied Iduna. "But my memory may need some catching up. Is Yelana still around?"
"Yep. She's still here." replied Honeymaren.
A minute into the walk and nearing one of the campfires a few Northuldra sat around talking, Honeymaren commented...
"Oh, they're gone. They must've went back home; it's not far from here, can you manage a few moments more of walking?"
"Yeah." replied Iduna, before she smiled. "The bit of walking I'm doing is making me feel better."
"Great!"
True to Honeymaren's words, she lead them just a few moments more to the right of their initial location to a tent Elsa and Anna were familiar with and Honeymaren was about to announce herself, only getting as far as "Mom." before Magna walked out from behind the cloth doorway and gasped in shock upon coming face-to-face with her mirror image.
I-Iduna?" questioned Magna, before Iduna's bottom lips quivered into a smile as her eyes teared up.
"H-Hey sis." greeted Iduna, before Magna's eyes welled up and tears trailed down her face as she lifted her shaky hands up to Iduna's shoulders and touched her, patting her shoulder's gently as if her touch could hurt her.
"I-I thought you were dead!" declared Magna, lifting her hands to cup Iduna's cheeks.
"I was." replied Iduna, releasing Elsa's hand and lifted her right hand up to Magna's left on her cheek with a smile, before Magna suddenly hugs her.
"I'm so glad your back!" cried Magna, while Elsa, Anna and Honeymaren were all teary-eyed as well from the reunion.
"Really?" asked Iduna, before she wrapped her arms around Magna in return. "You're not mad? I ran away; abandoned you all."
"Of course not!" Declared Magna, squeezing Iduna a little tighter. "It was chaos when the fighting broke out..." she added, before pulling back and Iduna placed her hands on Magna's shoulders as Magna looked at her with teary-eyed delight. "You saved yourself, I don't blame you for that!"
Iduna gave a relieved sigh, before Magna looked to Elsa and Anna, then the frozen Agnarr with a smile, before she added...
"And it looks like you lived well..." Magna then looked to Iduna with a smirk. "'Queen' Iduna, should I bow?"
The tease prompted a small chuckle from Iduna, before Magna continued...
"Is that the prince you were crushing on?"
"Yeah..." replied Iduna with a smile.
"Why's he frozen?" asked Magna.
"I was frozen too." replied Iduna. "I was... dead..." she added, slowly, as if the fact just dawned on her and she turned around to Elsa and Anna with confusion as she kept her right hand on Magna's shoulder. "H-How..."
"My magic; I can revive!" declared Anna happily. "But it wasn't just me, Elsa unfrozen you and Cassandra got the water from your lungs."
The comment prompted shock on the twins faces as well and Honeymaren's and Iduna first asked...
"You, have your magic back? That's why you feel so warm and comfortable?"
Then Magna...
"You told me you can heal, not revive the dead!"
"Heh, well thanks for the compliment Mom." replied Anna with a smile. "And yeah, I can revive the dead; really takes it out of me though." she added, before Elsa commented...
"We brought Mother here to meet her mother."
Magna then gasped and commented...
"Oh! Of course! Thank you!" she stated, before looking to Iduna. "Mother was out a little while ago, but she started feeling tired, you can come in and see her, she's still awake."
"Thanks." replied Iduna. "I'll need to eat soon though to regain my energy."
"I have food inside." stated Magna, before she looked to Elsa and Anna. "You two can come in too."
"Thanks, but no." replied Elsa. "I still have something I need to take care of before finally relaxing."
"What's that?" asked Anna. "We're done."
"Not quite." replied Elsa with a little smile, though Anna now noticed a tired look in Elsa's eyes, she could heal injury, but not fatigue. "Where's Yelana?" asked Elsa, looking to Magna. "There's something important I need to talk with her about."
"Oh..." replied Anna. "That. Maybe you should take a moment to relax and rest Elsa." she added, before Elsa looked to her with a smile.
"Thanks for the concern Anna, but I'm fine. Once this last task is done, I'll relax and we can spend all night with Mother before heading home."
"Ok..." replied Anna, with a little smile. "Just don't push yourself, we can relax here."
"I promise, I won't even run." replied Elsa.
"I'll help you look for Yelana." stated Honeymaren.
"Thanks." replied Elsa, before she looked to Iduna and Magna. "I'll be back soon. I'm sure you have plenty to catch up on."
"We certainly do." replied Magna with a smile as she looked to her sister, who smiled back.
"I'm coming with you, Elsa." stated Anna.
"Alright."
Iduna then commented to Elsa...
"You can leave Agnarr with us for now; actually, I'd like you to."
"Ok." replied Elsa.
After just two minutes, at most and Honeymaren asking a few Northuldra of Yelana's location, the trio found Yelana near the edge of the camp, talking with a male Northuldra, before the two had finished and the man walked away towards them, which prompted Yelana to notice them, with a smile as she walked towards them and Honeymaren left them to talk.
"Ah, the sisters have returned." stated Yelana.
"Hello ma'am." greeted Elsa.
"Whatever you two have done, has removed the mist." stated Yelana. "We can all see the sky again; some haven't seen the stars since they were born; thank you." she added, before Anna commented...
"Yeah, a lot happened after we left. We ended up reaching Ahtohallan."
"Really!?" gasped Yelana. "You met Ahtohallan!? Did it reveal the truth?" she added, before Elsa answered.
"Yes; That's what I'd like to discus with you, with everyone; if possible."
"Of course!" replied Yelana. "I'll let everyone know."
"Great, but one more thing." stated Elsa. "Would it be possible to include the Arendelle soldiers?"
The request prompted hesitation in Yelana and an unsure look on her face, before Elsa added...
"At least Mattias; the truth involves both sides."
Yelana gave a sigh, before she answered...
"Him and one more."
"Thank you!" replied Elsa.
"I'll let the others know." stated Yelana. "While you go retrieve them."
"Thank you." replied Elsa again, before she created an icy horse and mounted it, before looking to Anna as she was about to join her. "Stay here Anna."
"Why?" asked Anna.
"It won't take long for me to get Mattias." replied Elsa. "No reason for us both to go; Stay with mother."
"Then let me go." offered Anna. "Stay here and rest."
"It would be quicker if I go, besides, you need to eat too."
"So do you." stated Anna. "You haven't eaten since we left the camp the first time."
"I'll be fine Anna, I promise." replied Elsa with a smile. "I'll come back with Mattias, discuss what we discovered with everyone then I'll rest, eat and you can dote on me all you want."
Following a sigh, Anna smiled.
"Ok, fine. After the discussion, you're sitting down and resting."
"Will do." stated Elsa with a smile, before she galloped off into the dark and Anna sighed again, before she felt a hand to her shoulder and looked back to Yelana and smiled at her as she and Yelana made their way back towards the middle of the camp and Anna commented, "By the way, we brought Iduna back."
"Really!?" gasped Yelana with shock and delight.
Meanwhile, as Elsa traveled through the forest, a heavy sigh left her, she was physically and emotionally exhausted; greatly looking forward to finally resting, but there was one final task to be done.
"Gale, you there?" called out Elsa into the night air.
After just a few moments, Elsa heard a whistle on the wind that swirled around her.
"Hey." stated Elsa with a smile. "Do you mind leading me to Mattias' camp?" she asked, before releasing a small amount of magic from her left hand in a glowing snowflake which the wind took and moved ahead of her like a lantern.
"Thanks." commented Elsa. "You must be happy our mother is back." she added, before she heard another whistle from Gale. "A bit of a jerk move that you went along with Nokk's game, but at least you didn't try to kill us; though you did cause Anna to get hurt."
Elsa heard another whistle, though Sanna spoke to her.
"She said she's sorry about that."
"Oh, right, you can communicate with the spirits." commented Elsa. "So Gale's a she?"
"Yep."
"Apparently Mother was able to talk to Gale like I'm talking to you." replied Elsa. "I won't ask that of you though Gale, that closeness can stay with Mother."
A few minutes pass following Gale before Elsa heard Sanna speak to her again.
"There's something you should know about Ahtohallan."
The comment prompted a sigh from Elsa...
"I'd rather forget about Ahtohallan for a while; but ok, what is it?"
"The light that enveloped us and Anna; it did more than simply empower you two. It connected you to Ahtohallan. Like a loose rope being tightened."
"So you're saying we're slaves to it?" asked Elsa.
"No, no, it's not like that. It's more of a link, you've been empowered, yes; but you, or rather, I, which is an extension of you is connected to Ahtohallan; I know what it wants."
"Really?" asked Elsa, wide-eyed. "Then you can confirm or deny any suspicions I have?"
"Yes."
"Then what does it want, is it really lonely?"
"It's not particularly lonely; it simply agreed with Silvia's assumption." answered Sanna. "It does want human interaction and companionship; but what it really, really wants deep down, is freedom."
"Freedom? From what?" questioned Elsa. "The glacier... it did want me to move IT. Was Ahtohallan banished to where it is?"
"More like sealed." answered Sanna. "The reason why you started to be affected by the cold when you saw the truth of what your grandfather did was because you were near the heart of Ahtohallan; where IT is."
"Why was it sealed?" asked Elsa. "Is Ahtohallan evil, like Zhan Tiri?"
"I don't know the reason it was sealed." answered Sanna. "I don't know its history ironically, just its desires that I can tell you with no word games or deception; but Ahtohallan isn't malicious. I'm only guessing; but whatever happened for it to be sealed in an island in the middle of nowhere for thousands of years, it must've learned its lesson; but for all its power, it's powerless to help itself."
"So it used the betrayal of our grandfather against the Northuldra to put a thirty year plan in place in hopes to be broken out of its prison. Thirty years that are probably nothing to it."
"Given what I know now, that seems about right. Ahtohallan seemed benevolent to the Northuldra, given the spirits lived with them in peace and was even friendly with them. Although, if it told you this at the beginning, I don't think you would've taken it well."
"You're right about that, I'd of told it to go fu-" replied Elsa, before she stopped herself and took a breath. "Calm down Elsa, you're too tired to get riled up again." she added, before she took another breath. "Well if Ahtohallan needs me, then it will just have to prove itself like I told it before. Its behavior will determine its 'freedom'. Now, no more about Ahtohallan please, I just want to focus on the task ahead of me."
"Alright, just wanted you to know about this. Don't want you thinking you can't trust your own magic. I may have come from Ahtohallan, but I'm loyal to you and you alone."
"Thanks Sanna." replied Elsa with a smile.
After a total of about ten minutes traveling on her magical horse, the glowing snowflake Gale carried in front of her fell to the ground as the wind left.
"Must be close." commented Elsa as she slowed her gallop.
"The camp is just ahead." stated Sanna.
Just a few moments later, Elsa saw the familiar light of a campfire ahead, before she arrived at the much smaller camp of Arendelle soldiers, with small, single-person tents; However, three people, one being Mattias, sat at the campfire, joined by a male and female soldier, all turned their attention to Elsa upon her arrival. All three stood in alert, but quickly relaxed upon seeing it was Elsa.
"Your Majesty, you're back." stated Mattias, as Elsa dismounted and walked to the lieutenant with a smile.
"It's good to see you again Mattias." greeted Elsa.
"It's a relief to see you as well, Your Majesty." replied Mattias as he gave a small bow. "You look tired, and your hair... what happened, and where's the Princess?"
"Anna's safe, a lot happened since we parted ways." answered Elsa. "I'll tell you later, but for now, do you mind coming with me to the Northuldra camp? Anna and I discovered the truth of what started the fighting and I'd like you there as well when I reveal the truth."
"Of course, Your majesty!" replied Mattias eagerly, before he was a little surprised when Elsa created two additional ice horses.
"You're allowed to bring one additional person with you."
- Meanwhile, back at the Northuldra camp -
"How did you manage that!?" gasped Yelana. "You said your parents died."
"They did." replied Anna. "My magic allows me to heal and revive, at the cost of me passing out."
"Incredible!" gasped Yelana.
"Heh, it really is." replied Anna. "We just came here to find our parents to bury them in Arendelle. I never thought I'd get to see my parents alive again; this changes so much, for the better."
"So they were at the shipwreck after all?" asked Yelana.
"Oh, no. There weren't any bodies there. Ahtohallan had them, frozen; it returned them to us."
"What was Ahtohallan like?"
"Uh..." replied Anna nervously. "Well, to be honest; a real jerk at the beginning. Turns out it started this whole crazy thing with helping our mother escape the fighting so it could make Elsa the Fifth Spirit and have human contact because-"
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Wait!" gasped Yelana. "Your sister is the Fifth Spirit!?"
"Oh... right." replied Anna with a nervous chuckle. "Me and my big mouth. That's what Ahtohallan said, but Elsa's not really happy about it, so I'd hold off on calling her that and don't mention it to anyone else, OK?"
"Wow..." stated Yelana. "That's... a pretty heavy piece of information to drop."
"Promise you won't bring it up for now." requested Anna. "Elsa would be pretty mad at me for revealing that."
"Ok, I'll keep it a secret for now." replied Yelana, which prompted a relieved sigh from Anna.
"Thank you! I really need to watch what I say."
"I'll go let everyone know your sister wants to talk with everyone." stated Yelana.
"Ok, I'll hang around and get something to eat." replied Anna, before she waved Yelana a temporary farewell as they parted ways.
Anna however, soon encountered Cassandra; oddly very cheerfully tending to a familiar owl perched on her right arm, using her other hand to stroke its chest.
"Hey, Cassandra."
"Oh hey!" stated Cassandra delightfully.
"You're pretty friendly with that owl there." stated Anna.
"He's my friend!" declared Cassandra. "I lost track of him before heading to Ahtohallan. Of the months I was there, besides Raps, I really missed him! I'm so happy to see he's just fine, but I shouldn't be surprised, he's self-sufficient and can take care of himself." she added.
"So the owl was a pet after all; yours." asked Anna.
"More of a companion really."
"What's his name?" asked Anna.
"Owl."
"Oh..."
"Not very original, I know, but Owl likes it." replied Cassandra.
"Well that's what's important." stated Anna. "No sense giving him a name he won't answer to. So where did Silvia go?"
"That girl who talked to you before, came and led Silvia away saying she needed to talk with her in private."
"Oh... heh, ok." replied Anna, with a little color coming to her cheeks from the memory of what she and Elsa caught the two of them doing. "Well, I'm gonna go check on my mom, find something to eat then talk to some people until Elsa get's back."
"Ok, maybe I'll see if I can get something to eat too in the meantime." replied Cassandra.
Parting from Cassandra with a smile, Anna was happy that Cassandra had reunited with a friend and Silvia and Honeymaren apparently 'reuniting' as well. However, Anna soon heard her name called by an oddly familiar voice that prompted her to stop and turn around to greet- no one, before she heard the voice again.
"It's your magic."
"Oh!" gasped Anna with a smile. "That's gonna take some getting used to now that your actually talking to me."
"With everything that was happening, I wanted to stay quite unless you started a conversation." stated her magic. "But with everything calmed down, I figured you wouldn't mind."
"Oh, of course not!" replied Anna happily, before she noticed a few Northuldra turn a curious gaze to her and Anna's cheeks redden from the outward appearance of her talking to herself and gave a chuckle. "One sec..." she added lowly as she quickly resumed walking towards a tree that was just a little ways away from other people; close enough that people could still see her, but not close enough to hear her talk; to herself.
"So, I'm glad you're finally speaking to me." stated Anna, in a lower tone. "Why the wait though if you don't mind me asking."
"Well, similar to Sanna and not wanting to 'spoil' your sister on what she could do, I simply wanted to observe you for a while." replied Anna's magic.
"Oh, well when I first started talking to you, you did communicate to me that you didn't want to talk to me yet." replied Anna. "Will that still be a thing though, communicating through feeling?"
"Yes, if you'd like it to."
"Good, keep doing that then. I liked it." replied Anna.
"You can also talk to me in you head, so you won't look weird to others."
"Ah, right... but that means you know what I'm thinking all the time, right?"
"Yes."
"... And you're there when I'm alone, in my bed." commented Anna with a blushing smile.
"Correct, but I will not make myself known or speak to you in those moments if you don't want me to."
"Heh, yeah, let's go with that for now." stated Anna. "So, about your voice; I remember Elsa telling me that Sanna told her that the voice she hears from Sanna is something she wants to hear subconsciously. Your voice sounds so calming; I wouldn't say you sound like Elsa, but you have the same, soft tone of voice she has when we talk."
"Is that so?"
"Do you not know what you sound like?"
"Do you?"
"Uh, I think I do?" replied Anna with an odd look on her face. "I never thought of that... Does Elsa hear my voice differently than what I hear?"
"Possibly."
"Whoa..." gasped Anna, wide-eyed. "I'm gonna ask her what I sound like to her when she comes back. Anyway, since you're talking to me now, you need a name. Sanna's Sanna because Elsa gave her magic a body in the image of me, but I can't give you a body like that, so something like that wouldn't make sense." added Anna, before she sighed. "I liked the name Felsa too."
"There's nothing stopping you from naming me that."
"Yeah, but it just doesn't fit to me. Maybe Blaze, hmm, no... Ember... mmm, no, it's just another word for fire. Maybe... Blair? Hmmm... too 'normal'. Ugh, this is hard."
"How about Felsa for the time being and you can change my name when you think of something better?"
"You don't mind a temporary name?" asked Anna.
"Better than no name."
"Point taken; Alright then..." replied Anna with a smile. "Until I can think of a better name, you're Felsa! Hello Felsa."
"Hello, Anna." greeted Felsa with delight, which prompted a chuckle from Anna, though Felsa added, "There's something I wanted to let you know about Ahtohallan."
"Oh, really?" asked Anna.
"Yes; While Ahtohallan did empower you and Elsa with the column of light, most importantly, it also connected you two to her."
"Oh, so what does that mean?" asked Anna. "Is Ahtohallan gonna be in my head like you are?"
"No, it doesn't quite work that way. At least when you're not at the glacier." Answered Felsa. "While our 'link' is always on, Ahtohallan has to be allowed; calling to it opens the link and allows her to experience things through you."
"Well that's a relief, but what do you mean with that last part; experience things through me? So If I open the link to Ahtohallan while I'm doing something personal, Ahtohallan would feel that?"
"No, no, not like that. I meant experience as in... say you watch a child experience something, perhaps for the first time and their happy about it, it would make you happy too, right?"
"Right. So I sorta experience it through the kid." stated Anna. "If it's something I did as a kid, I'd likely remember my experience and maybe be able to relate to the experience."
"And that's what I mean when I say Ahtohallan would experience things through you."
"So like when I watched Other Me having sex with Kristoff." stated Anna with a little chuckle at the memory.
"Right. Ahtohallan has been alone a long time, so it desires sharing in various experiences; which is why it requested Elsa to move it closer, so it can experience the memories of the Northuldra that gets close."
"Huh, interesting... how do you know this?"
"As I said before, we are connected to Ahtohallan. While ironically, I can't access its past, I'm now aware of its present desires."
"Really?" asked Anna, with a curious look on her face.
"Yes, Ahtohallan's deepest desire is freedom."
"Freedom? From what?" asked Anna.
"It's prison that is the glacier." answered Felsa.
"Prison!?" Gasped Anna. "Is Ahtohallan bad!? Is it our Zhan Tiri!?"
"All I can confidently say is that she's not malicious."
"Wow... so Ahtohallan was imprisoned in the middle of nowhere? Why?"
"I don't know its past, so I don't know; but from what I do know, she's learned her lesson, but is unable to free herself."
"So that's the reason for that plan it had." stated Anna. "Everything that lead us here."
"Right, she was honest when she said your parents deaths weren't intended or planned and the failure of her communication of her agreement with your mother was a symptom of her lack of interaction with people."
"Hmm, I guess when you don't talk to people for a long time, you forget how. I guess I was kinda like that with Elsa; not that I forgot how to talk to her, but after I was considering killing myself, we talked so little. It was kinda hard to come up with things to actually talk about through a door; especially when she wouldn't even answer back." stated Anna, before she chuckled. "Wow, I'm comparing myself to an Ancient. Hey, you've been referring to Ahtohallan as a she." stated Anna.
"Because Ahtohallan is a she." replied Felsa.
"A female spirit?"
"A female person."
"What!?" gasped Anna, before she quickly placed a hand over her mouth and peaked behind the tree to see a couple of eyes in her direction, before adding in her head. 'Ahtohallan's a person!? A flesh and blood person like me, Elsa and everyone Elsa around!?'
"Yes." answered Felsa. "The place you all were in when you started to feel cold; you all were near its heart, it' body."
'Whoa... really!?' thought Anna.
"Yes, Elsa may be the only living person who could free Ahtohallan from it's prison."
'Heh, I don't think that's happening anytime soon.' thought Anna with a chuckle.
"Agreed, Ahtohallan has to first prove itself to Elsa before it even gets its first request, then reveal what it is, which Elsa may not take well."
'Yeah, but it's been around this long, I'm sure waiting the lifespan of a human is nothing to it. But I can't help wonder what Ahtohallan as a person is like now; What does she look like? Is she goofy or serious? Maybe she speaks with that eerie calmness because she's insanely bored. Ugh, now I'm feeling sorry for her.'
"Would you still feel sorry for her if I told you Ahtohallan manipulated you with the smiling thing?" asked Felsa.
'What!?' gasped Anna. 'That was a trick!?'
"Yep." answered Felsa, before Anna smirked with annoyance.
'I think I have some idea of why Ahtohallan was imprisoned. A trickster with that much power can be a problem. Ugh, but if no harm was done, then I guess it's fine? Now I wanna play a trick on Ahtohallan!'
After about twenty minutes, Elsa returned to the camp, with Mattias and an additional female soldier and Anna was quick to greet her when she dismounted.
"Hey Elsa! Are you feeling ok?"
"Heh, yeah, I'm fine; just feeling the fatigue catching up with me." replied Elsa, still looking tired in the eyes. "The sooner we do this announcement, the sooner I can rest, get some food in me and put this day behind us."
"Good." stated Anna with a smile. "By the way, I had a nice talk with my magic since you were gone, I even gave it the temporary name of Felsa."
"Hehe, nice; well hello Felsa." replied Elsa, which prompted chuckle from Anna.
"Oh, also, Felsa had some interesting information about Ahtohallan-" stated Anna, before Elsa sighed...
"Can we not bring up Ahtohallan right now? Sanna told me some stuff about it too, probably the same stuff."
"Oh, ok then. Yeah, I'm sure you don't want to think about her right now."
"Her?" questioned Elsa.
"Oh, Sanna didn't mention that?" asked Anna, before the two were briefly interrupted as Mattias walked near them and greeted Anna.
"Hello, Your Highness; It's wonderful to meet you again."
"You too Lieutenant." greeted back Anna, before Elsa let out a big yawn, prompting her to cover her mouth.
"Ohh, the fatigue is hitting me hard right now." replied Elsa, before she saw Yelana walking towards them as well as a large group of Northuldra with her as well as the few lingering around joining the group. "I see Yelana and the others are ready." added Elsa, before offering her left hand to Anna with a smile. "Let's finish this together."
"Ok." replied Anna with a smile as she took Elsa's hand in her right as she turned to face the Northuldra and Mattias and the additional Arendelle soldier with him, before Elsa took a slow breath, then began...
"Thank you all for gathering on rather short notice."
Following her opening line, Elsa and Anna spotted Silvia and Honeymaren hurrying out of the darkness behind the Northuldra to join the gathering. Neither Elsa or Anna made any motion or comment towards them, it wasn't any of their business anyway.
"Earlier today..." continued Elsa. "My sister and I discovered our mother, Iduna, is Northuldra."
There were a few noticeable surprised whispers from Northuldra that hadn't already heard of the news, but Elsa continued on...
"And although we have Northuldra blood, we are outsiders, I don't deny that. We don't know you and you don't know us; a few hours of being around doesn't change that; but we'd like to make the effort to get to know you all, if you'd allow us the opportunity."
There were a few claps in the crowd, but one Northuldra man commented...
"I'm willing to give you the chance."
Followed by a woman...
"Same here, they freed us of the mist after all."
There were a couple more positive comments, which brought a tear to the sister's eyes and shared a smile, before Elsa cleared her throat and added...
"Thank you; but relationships are built on trust and while we were gone, we discovered the truth of the conflict between the Northuldra and Arendelle." stated Elsa, before she took another breath and squeezed Anna's hand, who returned the act, this was the moment of truth, they were either going to be accepted or rejected and ran out of the camp.
"Arendelle is the one at fault." revealed Elsa, which prompted gasps from the Northuldra and Mattias. "King Runeard, our Grandfather, built the dam as a trap; to gather you all in one place so your size and strength were known. He feared your connection with the spirits and magic. King Runeard assaulted and killed one your elders, which sparked the conflict. I don't expect immediate forgiveness or perhaps any at all for our Grandfather's actions; but letting the truth be known is the right thing to do, for any hope of a lasting relationship. That's all I have to say."
The Northuldra then erupted in whispered conversations with each other, some not whispering at all and the sisters heard more than a few negative comments directed towards them, not the least of which Arendelle being called murders.
Anna's hand was starting to hurt from the tightness in which Elsa was gripping her hand as they now stood in the face of their judgment, before Mattias quickly stepped towards them.
"Are you sure about this Your Majesty?"
Elsa however, didn't get the chance to answer before a Northuldra woman yelled...
"That Arendelle murderer Mattias must've known about this!"
"N-No! I didn't!" declared Mattias, turning to face the angry crowd. "This is news to me as well!"
"Lies!" declared another Northuldra as Yelana attempted to settle everyone, particularly the more animated and vocal of the crowd, with not much success.
"Elsa..." commented Anna warily. "Things aren't looking too good."
Elsa then directly her magic above, displaying the icy memory of Runeard speaking to a fellow Arendelle soldier of bringing Arendelle's full guard, then the other soldier questioning him on why and that the Northuldra have given no reason to not trust them, which calmed the crowd significantly, perhaps more-so from the show of magic, before Elsa spoke...
"It appears that our Grandfather kept this plan a secret. He is the one at fault. As Queen of Arendelle, and as I promised, I will take responsibility for my Grandfathers actions."
The angry crowd calmed to whispers again as Elsa let the memory play out, all the way until the Northuldra Elder held off Runeard's first attempt to murder him as the Northuldra and Arendelle witness' appeared and the Arendelle soldier questioned what King Runeard was doing, whose reply was a lie.
Elsa however stopped the memory as Runeard motioned to stab the Northuldra man, which prompted shocked gasps from all the Northuldra.
"After this moment." stated Elsa, as the memory flurried away. "Our Grandfather is shot with two arrows as the conflict begins."
There was another round of whispers among the Northuldra and both sisters felt their hearts thumping against their chest; there was nothing else they could say. An agonizingly long minute turned to two, then three, then four. They may have stood there an hour given how slow the time went as Elsa and Anna awaited their judgment; before finally, the whispers died down as Yelana turned to them and walked towards them, stopping within just a few feet, close enough to touch them, or hit them.
Yelana though, let out a lengthy sigh.
"Thirty years." stated Yelana. "Thirty years we've been trapped here. Both sides have lost people. But..." she added, before gazing to Mattias and the other Arendelle soldier. "We are tired of the fighting." stated Yelana, turning her attention back to Elsa and Anna, who both gave a hopeful, small smile. "You have lifted the mist, found the truth and the courage to admit it and returned one of our people." commented Yelana, with a smile as well, before she lifted a hand to each other the sisters shoulders. "I will not hold you accountable for the actions of your Grandfather."
Both sisters gave a shuttering, relieved sigh as tears trailed down their faces.
"Really!?" Gasped both of them.
"Yes." replied Yelana. "You are not your Grandfather."
The sisters then saw a Northuldra woman walk up to them, towards Anna and place her left hand on Yelana's right shoulder and her other hand on Anna's left shoulder.
"I agree."
Tears began to flow even more freely as the sisters saw a number of Northuldra, though not all, join them; forming a wide connected embrace.
The acceptance was overwhelming, apparently too overwhelming for Elsa; before Anna gasped as she saw Elsa suddenly pass out, though caught by Mattias' quick action before Elsa hit the ground.
Groggily coming to, Elsa shifted around laying on her back, before a curious series of sounds came to her; birds chirping and the laughter of children, before she flinched awake. Although Elsa groaned as she lifted her left hand up over her face and rubbed the sleep from her eyes, before groggily opening them as she sat up, followed by a lengthy yawn and stretching out her arms, but winced as she felt sore in her back and sides.
Almost about to lay back down to return to sleep, Elsa looked down at herself and gasped when she saw herself wearing clothes that were not hers, they were Northuldran.
"What the... what happened to my clothes?" asked Elsa, before she gasped again when she looked up and recognized that she was in a Northuldra tent, then looked towards the door and saw the clear light of day between the cracks of the door. "It's day time? What happened? I was with Anna, it was night-time and I revealed the truth to the Northuldra, they accepted us and... what happened after?"
Hearing the activity outside and the obvious daylight, there was only one conclusion Elsa could see.
"Did I pass out? Anna must've decided to spend the night here. But why change my clothes?"
About to get to her feet, Elsa noticed a small amount of food laying to her right; a single apple, a small bowl with some berries and another small bowl of water. Elsa quickly took the bowl of water and eagerly drank it down, before scooping up a handful of berries and eating them by the handful with a delighted moan from her.
"Mmm, so hungry!"
Upon quickly emptying the bowl of berries, Elsa took the apple and started on it as she got to her feet, though groaned again, her whole body felt sore.
"Ugh, guess all that fighting caught up with me." groaned Elsa, before she walked towards the door of the tent and stepped out to the nearly blinding light of day.
While Elsa saw what she expected to see; kids running around playing with each other and Northuldran adults talking and some busy with tasks, what Elsa didn't expect to see were the few Arendelle soldiers dotted around, peacefully talking with Northuldra, some even laughing with Northuldra they spoke with.
"Whoa..." commented Elsa.
However, Elsa soon heard a familiar and delighted mans voice call her name from behind to her left. Elsa turned around and gasped in shock, her barely eaten apple falling from her hold as her father stood in front of her, with a big teary smile as the tears quickly flowed from Elsa's eyes.
"F-Father!?" gasped Elsa, before she gasped again when Agnarr quickly hugged her.
Elsa winced from the soreness of her body, but she didn't care and wrapped her arms around him and relaxed into the embrace.
"I'm so happy to see you Elsa!" stated Agnarr.
"Me too!" cried Elsa as happy tears streamed down her face.
Father and Daughter simply embraced for a few moments, before another wince left Elsa from the little tighter embrace from Agnarr, who quickly released her.
"Oh, sorry."
"It's ok." replied Elsa with a few sniffles and wiping the tears from her eyes. "Yesterdays activity just caught up with me. You can hug me as tight as you want, Father."
"Heh, I'll pass on hurting you." stated Agnarr, placing his hands to Elsa's shoulders. "You look great Elsa."
A crying giggle left Elsa, before she also placed her hands to Agnarr's shoulders.
"You look great too Father. It's so wonderful to see you alive, but how, you were frozen."
"You're friend Cassandra." answered Agnarr. "She unfroze me and Anna brought me back. It's been a couple of hours since then. I've been sitting outside waiting for you to wake up for what I guess to be a half hour."
"Where is everyone?" asked Anna, briefly looking around. "Anna, Cassandra and Silvia I mean, and Mother; I don't see them... and the Arendelle soldiers look to be welcome here now."
"Well, Cassandra was talking to one of the soldiers last time I saw her." answered Agnarr. "Silvia was entertaining some children; Anna was entertaining herself with the Fire and Wind spirits- hehe, that's not a sentence I ever thought I'd say." added Agnarr with a chuckle. "Lastly, I saw your mother with her sister, but I don't know where they currently are at the moment."
"So everyone's fine." stated Elsa with a sigh.
"Yes they are." replied Agnarr, before he lifted his right hand up to caress Elsa's cheek, who smiled at the loving touch. "I never intended to leave you two alone like that." added Agnarr.
"I know." replied Elsa, before Agnarr smiled.
"But I'm proud of you, overcoming your fear and reuniting with Anna."
The comment from her father prompted a little nervous smile from Elsa.
'Reuniting, right.' thought Elsa. 'Now that Mother and Father are back, how are we going to bring up our relationship?'
"Something wrong?" asked Agnarr.
"N-No, everything's good!" quickly answered Elsa. "I'm really happy your here and alive. Do you mind if I go see how everyone's doing?"
"Of course not." replied Agnarr with a smile as he pulled his hand away. "I'll be here if you want to talk."
"Thanks, I'm certainly coming back." replied Elsa, before she stepped back, continuing to smile, before turning around and walking away. 'Ohhh what a wonderful surprise to wake up to!' thought Elsa delightfully.
During the couple of minutes of walking through the camp, Elsa was happily greeted by various Northuldra, adults and children alike, even the couple Arendelle soldiers that spotted her, all asking if she slept well and if she felt ok, which aside from a little soreness, Elsa felt just fine, especially with the cheerful mood all around.
It wasn't long before Elsa encountered Cassandra, still opting to wear clothing of her own creation, the same green-tinted icy bodysuit, however, there was a slight alteration, Cassandra's hands were no longer covered. Cassandra was also occupied, clearly training her swordplay with a female Arendelle soldier.
"Cassandra." stated Elsa, announcing herself as she walked towards the two, who stopped and turned their attention to her and the Arendelle woman gave a slight bow.
"Your Majesty; It's good to see you up."
"Yeah." replied Cassandra. "You gave us a scare when you suddenly collapsed last night."
"Heh, sorry about that." replied Elsa. "I was just so concerned with trying to do everything without taking a moment to stop and breathe; I'd be surprised if I didn't pass out. So how's everyone been this morning?"
"Good." replied Cassandra. "Yelana allowed the rest of your people in the camp earlier and your sister was kind enough to fix my hand." she added, lifting her right hand hold her sword.
"Oh, I didn't know your hand was inj- oh, right." replied Elsa.
"Heh, Raps mentioned that too huh? Well your sister was actually pretty insistent on fixing my hand." replied Cassandra. "And Diane here was nice enough to let me test my hand."
"Well Anna does love to help." stated Elsa with a smile. "Do you happen to know where she is?"
"Not her exact location." replied Cassandra. "After reviving your dad, she had a bunch of requests to heal scraps and bruises and other injuries. The last I saw of her though, she was talking with your mother; but they were clearly having an argument."
"An argument!?" gasped Elsa. "About what!?"
"I don't know." answered Cassandra. "I didn't think it was my place to know. You're mother's sister lead her away, to calm down I assume."
"Calm down?" questioned Elsa with confusion. "Then I need to find them both to find out what happened."
"Well I saw Anna go in that direction and I haven't seen her since." replied Cassandra, pointing to her right, Elsa left; the direction Elsa was previously heading. "Your mother went the other way." added Cassandra, pointing to her left.
"Thanks." replied Elsa, before she left in Anna's direction, hurrying in a light jog.
'It hasn't even been a day!' thought Elsa. 'What on earth could Anna and Mother get into an argument about that they'd have to be separated and Mother have to calm down!?'
As Elsa walked and more Northuldra greeted her, she also asked if they knew where Anna was and was able to narrow her search a little distance outside of the camp. After just a thirty-second jog out of camp, Elsa heard the delighted sounds of children giggling and laughing, and saw through the trees ahead of her, Silvia; sitting cross-legged on the ground, she still wore her clothes from yesterday. However, her wings, tail and horns were exposed as four kids around her happily touched and pulled the appendages.
"Well I found Silvia... with a bunch of kids." commented Elsa, before she noticed a person sitting against a tree ahead of her, appearing to watch Silvia with the kids a few yards away. The person was dressed as Northuldra, but the familiar strawberry-blonde hair instantly told Elsa who the person was as she walked up to Anna's left, seeing her eating a nearly completely eaten apple.
"Anna."
Anna flinched at her name being called and looked up to Elsa, before a big smile came to her face.
"Elsa! You're awake!" declared Anna happily as she got to her feet. "Good morning! I hope you slept well."
"Yeah, sorry about passing out. Guess I should've listened to you."
"Yeah, you should've." replied Anna with a playful shove of Elsa's left shoulder. "You really scared me passing out like that. So I decided to let you sleep and spend the night here."
"What about my clothes?" asked Elsa. "Why am I dressed like the Northuldra? It feels kinda weird, considering what happened."
"Oh, hehe... about your clothes." replied Anna with a little chuckle. "You were clearly out of it when you passed out, since you're clothing started to melt and come apart, so the Northuldra were nice enough to give you some clothes."
"Oh..." replied Elsa, as her cheeks reddened.
"They offered me a set too." stated Anna with a smile, before she gave a twirl. "The Northuldra look, looks good on you Elsa."
"Hehe, really? You look good too. By the way, I met Father."
"Good." replied Anna with a smile. "He said he was going to wait for you to wake up."
"So what are you doing here?" asked Elsa.
"Keeping an eye on Silvia." answered Anna, turning her attention back to Silvia, who was now flying a couple of yards above the ground with a kid holding on to her hands and legs. "Hehe, considering her interests, the last thing we need right now is her doing something to a kid. She hasn't done anything questionable so far though."
"That's good." replied Elsa, before she placed her left hand to Anna's left shoulder. "I met Cassandra; she told me you and Mother had an argument."
Anna's smile faded with a sigh as her gaze lowered.
"Cassandra saw that huh? Well I guess anyone who was around saw it and heard it."
"What happened!?" asked Elsa. "I can't imagine what you could argue about when it hasn't even been a day since Mother's come back to us."
Anna however, just sighs again.
"Come on Anna, what is it?"
"Say you had my healing..." began Anna. "Mother is dying and tells you she doesn't want you to heal her, but Father doesn't accept that and asks, then demands you heal Mother against her wishes. What would you do?"
"Oh..." replied Elsa, wide-eyed from immediately understanding the situation and hugs Anna. "Anna..." she added, before Anna quickly hugged her back and Elsa heard a few sniffled from her.
"I said 'no', but I don't know if that's the right choice." stated Anna. "I want to heal grandma, I want Mother to be happy with her mother; but grandma told me she doesn't want me to; and now Mother's mad at me. I can understand Mother's feelings, she reunited with her mother only for her to be dying... I don't know what to do!"
However, following a tighter squeeze from Anna, Elsa winced again, prompting Anna to pull away with a gasp.
"S-Sorry! Are you sore? Where does it hurt?"
"I'll be fine Anna." replied Elsa with a smile. "Regarding your dilemma though..." she added, before sighing. "I don't know the right answer to that. Is a person's dying wish to meet there end more important than another's request to save them when you have the power to? Without changing a person's mind, someone will be hurt." added Elsa, before she took Anna's hands in hers. "Whether you change your mind or not; Whatever you choose, I'll stand by you."
Anna gave a teary smile.
"Thank you Elsa, that means a lot to me right now."
Anna then resumed the hug, which Elsa was more than willing to return. After a minute of silent hugging and both calm and content in the other's embrace, Anna was the first to pull back and so did Elsa, ending the hug as Anna wiped the drying tears from her face and smiled at Elsa.
"Got anywhere else to be?"
"Nope, as long as I'm with you, I'm happy." replied Elsa, before Anna chuckled.
"Then sit with me." requested Anna as she returned to her previous sitting position against the tree, joined by Elsa as they watched Silvia continue to entertain the children around her, currently pretending to be a monster, wings spread in mock intimidation chasing the kids, whom giggled with delight.
"I'm honestly surprised Silvia is actually playing with the kids." stated Elsa with a smile as she watched the hundreds year old woman clearly enjoying herself.
"Yeah, seems she does care about kids more than just physically." replied Anna.
"How's Mother doing by the way?" asked Elsa. "I went to find you as soon as I heard what happened."
"A lot better." answered Anna with a smile. "She's well enough to get into an argument anyway. Honestly, it's like she was never frozen. I'd rather argue with Mother than her not being here."
"That's good." replied Elsa, placing her right hand on Anna's left thigh. "I'm glad she's doing better."
Anna smiled at Elsa as she placed her left hand over Elsa's right on her thigh, before she looked up to the trees and a calm sigh left her as a light breeze came along and rustled the trees around them. "This place really is beautiful."
"Yeah..." added Elsa, looking up as well. "Without the mist, everything is so much brighter. I still don't think I could live here, but I wouldn't be against spending a few days here with the Northuldra- our family."
"Same here." replied Anna. "Seeing how they live with the spirits too. I only saw them in a vision, but I'd like to meet the Earth Giants."
"Earth Giants, huh? What did they look like?" asked Elsa.
"Big; really, really big." answered Anna with a smile. "Like twice the height of the trees. It was dark, but it kinda looked like Marshmallow; a giant, rocky Marshmallow."
"Wow, that must be some sight." replied Elsa.
A small chuckle left Anna before Elsa felt her lean against her, resting her head against Elsa's.
"Tired?" asked Elsa.
"Nope, just glad your here." answered Anna. "Everything's fine, nothing's trying to kill us. It's nice to just sit here with you."
"Yeah." replied Elsa with a smile.
For the next few minutes, Elsa and Anna simply sat and relaxed in each others company, watching Silvia and the kids enjoying themselves; not talking, though Elsa did make the small gesture of turning the bottom of her right hand upward and Anna taking her hand, interlocking her fingers with Elsa.
"Hey, Elsa." commented Anna lowly, in a near whisper.
"Hmm?"
"Silvia doesn't seem like she intends to do anything inappropriate; how about we go somewhere more private?"
"Private? wh-" asked Elsa, turning her gaze to Anna, who smirked at her and gave her a quick peck on the lips and Elsa's eyes went wide, before she whispered. "Oh... really? Now?"
"Yeah, now." replied Anna.
"We haven't bathed yet, at least I haven't." stated Elsa.
"Never stopped us before." replied Anna with a smile. "We've done it shortly after waking up, then we bath after."
"True... but we should really wait until we get back home." suggested Elsa, before she saw Anna grimace.
"Yeah, but something tells me we won't be as free to once we get back home."
"Oh... right." replied Elsa, as she remembered the issue of revealing their relationship to their parents. "Mother and Father."
"Right; I'm not really sure how they'll take the fact that we're in a physical relationship." stated Anna. "Although the idea of sneaking around the castle for quick moments has some appeal, we won't have the same freedom to do as we please whenever we want with Mother and Father there as well."
"Yeah... you're right about that." replied Elsa. "I'm not really sure when we should tell them."
"And until we tell them, we can't exactly flirt with each other; as others have said: we aren't subtle at all, with all the touching and gazing into each others eyes."
"Heh, right again." stated Elsa.
"Unfortunately, I can't have you moaning my name at night either." commented Anna with a smirk, which only prompted a smirk in return from Elsa. "So..." added Anna, before she pulled her hand from Elsa's and moved her hand to Elsa's right thigh and slid it down between Elsa's legs, near her crotch, though Elsa quickly closed her thighs around the hand to stop Anna's hand. "Whaddya wanna do?" asked Anna with a grin. "Wanna go someplace more private?"
"Ok, ok." replied Elsa, pulling Anna's hand from between her thighs. "But we can't be gone too long." she added, before standing and Anna quickly followed with a grin.
Elsa extended her left hand ahead of her, but Anna quickly grabbed and lowered her hand.
"No magic horse, it'll draw too much attention. Let's just take a walk." stated Anna, before she walked away and Elsa calmly followed, both heading away from the camp and Silvia.
After about a ten minute walk, Anna turned around with a blushing smirk.
"Here is good, we're far enough away and I can sense if anyone's coming." stated Anna, before she quickly stepped close to Elsa and placed her hand on her shoulders as she kissed her.
Elsa quickly returned the affection, resting her hands on Anna's hips, however, after just a few moments, Elsa pulled back
"Wait." stated Elsa, before she lifted and waved her left hand and an icy dome covered the two. "We should take our clothes off now before we get too far." she added, pulling her top off to reveal her bare chest.
"Oh, right!" gasped Anna, as she also undressed, starting with her top as well. "Especially for you. It would be pretty awkward coming back to camp with the crotch of your pants drenched."
"Exactly." replied Elsa as she pulled down her pants and placed the two articles of clothing off to her right. "They were nice enough to lend me clothes and I think it would be quite disrespectful to dirty them like that."
Standing naked, facing each other, Anna spun once with a chuckle before she walked to Elsa, who smiled as Anna placed her hands to her shoulder.
"How about leaving the top open?" asked Anna. "It's so nice outside. Having the sun on our naked bodies would feel good."
"Alright." replied Elsa with a simple flick of her left wrist and the top of the dome opened up, leaving effectively a person-sized circular wall around them to allow the light of the sun to touch them.
Elsa then lifted her left hand to Anna's cheek as they both leaned in to kiss, after just a few moments of including their tongues though, Anna pulled back with a chuckle.
"I taste a little sweetness."
"Well I did eat that bowl of berries someone left me when I woke up." replied Elsa with a smirk, before Anna resumed the tongue-included kissing.
Anna may have been the initiator, but Elsa was the first of the two to make the first intimate touch; lifting her right hand up to cup and caress Anna's left breast, teasing her partially exposed nipple with her thumb; which prompted a brief flinch from Anna and Elsa's giggle into their kiss.
"I think those shy nipples of yours need a little encouragement." teased Elsa, before she pulled back and lowered her gaze to Anna's breasts and her nipples poking out of their usual hiding place.
Lowering her left hand to Anna's other breast, Elsa moved her fingers to and slowly circled the edges Anna's areolas, which prompted another small flinch from Anna, as well as a little chuckle from her as Elsa briefly caressed her breasts.
A few soft moans were urged from Anna; her nipples emerging a little more, nearly fully, but it was enough that Elsa soon leaned down and took Anna's right nipple into her mouth with a small gasp from Anna as she moved her right hand to the back of Elsa's head and another low moan left her lips as she felt a light sucking from Elsa.
However, Elsa sucking on her nipple wasn't the only stimulus Anna felt as Elsa's hand on her left breast began to pinch and roll her nipple, which urged another, slightly louder moan from her.
Soon after, Elsa was treated to another gasping moan from Anna as she licked her nipple. Anna then flinched twice with the following two, slow licks of her sensitive nipple. She felt Elsa's warm tongue circle it, before licking from the bottom in what Anna expected to end with a flick of Elsa's tongue; but it was a slow retreat that lingered, the tip of Elsa's tongue teasing the tip of her nipple and urged a lengthy, though quite moan from Anna as she felt the tingle of arousal building between her legs.
However, just as she was settling into the pleasure, Elsa pulled her mouth from her, leaving the glistening, erect nub exposed to the air.
"Hey, you just started." complained Anna.
Elsa simply looked up to Anna with a smirk, before Anna gasped when Elsa claimed her left nipple into her mouth and began to give it the attention of her tongue; slowly circling around it and teasing it's tip as she lightly pinch and rolled the wet nipple of Anna's right breast, urging a few louder moans from her yet again.
"Not so shy now." commented Elsa with a smile a minute later after she pulled her mouth away to see Anna's fully exposed nipples, whose face was flush red with arousal, smiling and breathing slightly quicker as Elsa still continued her tease as she caressed Anna's nipples with her thumbs, urging little moans from her. "Want me to include my magic in this?"
"Mmm, no, not this time." moaned Anna. "We'd probably lose track of time if you included your magic."
"Fair point. So, how about one orgasm a piece?"
"Two for you. Since you can handle multiple." suggested Anna.
"Alright." replied Elsa, before she briefly kissed Anna, long enough for Anna to return it for a few moments, before Elsa pulled back; along with her hands from Anna's nipples as she lowered her hands to Anna's hips as she knelt, facing Anna's shaven crotch. After nearly a week the area wasn't quite as hairless anymore, but the returning hair was short enough to easily see the aroused redness of Anna's lips.
However, as Elsa opened her mouth and extended her tongue out to lick Anna, she soon felt Anna's hands on her head, stopping her.
"Wait."
"What is it?" asked Elsa, looking up to Anna, before she lowered herself to sit on the ground and spread her legs for her with a smile.
"Make me come like you do."
"Oh." replied Elsa with a smile as well. "Ok then." she added, before sticking her left hand's middle and ring fingers into her mouth briefly, before lowering them down and briefly teased Anna's lower lips with a couple of strokes, followed by slowly pushing her fingers inside and urging a soft moan from Anna.
Following fully inserting her fingers, Elsa felt Anna tense a couple of times before she angled her fingers upwards and after just a second, Elsa grinned as Anna flinched with a gasp.
"Yeah, that's the spot." commented Anna with a smile as she leaned back on her elbows, before Elsa silently moved closer, positioning herself to Anna's left and resumed kissing before Anna felt Elsa begin to slowly, but firmly stroke that special spot.
The sharp spike of pleasure prompted another flinch and gasp from Anna, interrupting the kiss; however, their lips only part briefly, before Elsa rejoined their lips.
Following a repeat stroke from Elsa, another flinch left Anna as she closed her legs around Elsa's hand and moaned into the kiss. With another surge of pleasure shooting through her from Elsa's action, Anna lifted her right hand up to the back of Elsa's head as she leaned back and Elsa followed as Anna's back met the ground.
With her back meeting the grass, Anna felt Elsa's strokes quicken. Their kiss interrupted with Anna's pleasured moan again, Anna didn't feel Elsa's lips return, but heard her chuckle and opened her eyes to see Elsa grinning down at her as she squirmed in the repeated spikes of pleasure shooting through her.
"Spread your legs." stated Elsa, which Anna quickly did without a word of reply. "...and keep'em spread."
"Or else?" asked Anna with a grin. "Your Majesty." she added, before chuckling upon seeing Elsa smirk at her with a small moan.
"None of that Anna." stated Elsa.
A quick, gasping moan then left Anna from the continued strokes from Elsa and Anna felt a building twinge between her legs and Anna caught herself reflexively attempting to close her thighs, before another, smaller gasp left her when Elsa lowered her mouth down to her left nipple and began to lick and suck.
However, despite the building pleasure Anna felt, she blindly reached her left hand under Elsa, between her own legs and teased her smooth, wet lower lips. A small flinch came from Elsa, but most importantly, a quite moan left her as Elsa spread her legs a little.
Moans, particularly Anna's, were the only further sounds from the sisters as Elsa moved her fingers inside Anna; Small wet squelches could be heard between Anna's moans as the pleasure steadily grew. Anna tried her best to continue to tease and caress Elsa; but as the sensations grew, speeding her towards a welcome, wet peak as she felt the tingle and growing urge to relieve herself; Anna's left hand simply rests against Elsa's lower lips while she squirmed her hips.
Again, Anna felt Elsa retreat from her nipple and heard her ask...
"Close?"
"Y-Yeah, Nngh, just a little more!" moaned Anna, as she grabbed at the grass with her right hand as a gasping moan left her.
With Anna busy with an approaching release, Elsa grinned as her stroking faltered just a little as she positioned herself between Anna's legs; on her stomach, before she prompted a louder, surprised but pleasured gasping moan from Anna as she licked her exposed clit.
The act, coupled with the continued, firm strokes of Elsa's fingers to the highly sensitive spot, prompted a reactive closing of Anna's thighs around Elsa's head as she felt Anna's hands grab her head as well.
Her position secured, Elsa delightfully kicked up her feet as she brought out continued moans from Anna; moaning out into the woods as she licked and flicked her tongue over and around the sensitive nub.
With two points of stimulus, Anna barely lasted a minute more; Her gasping moans growing in volume and squirming her hips, although with Elsa's head still 'trapped' between Anna's thighs, she remained on target. Soon, Elsa heard groans from Anna and felt her grabbing fistfuls of her hair as she felt a few spurts of wetness hit her chin and Anna groaned out...
"I-I'm, nngh... gonna come!"
Although the warning was not needed, Anna's pleasured speech was a delight to Elsa's ears before she parted from her licking of Anna's clit, pulled her fingers free and replaced them with her tongue, entering her as far as she could and wriggled her tongue around.
The quick shift in manner of stimulus prompted an amusing, though brief squeal from Anna as Elsa felt a strong, though brief stream of fluid enter her mouth which she quickly swallowed. Just a second upon the stream ending, Anna let out a loud, blissful moan as a powerful, lengthy torrent of fluid filled Elsa's mouth, which she eagerly drinks for the brief few seconds it lasts.
Anna's entire body quivered with a groan before Elsa enjoyed a third mouthful of her sisters intimate treat, before she felt Anna's grip on her hair relax, as well as Anna's legs release her and spread again, while she continued to quiver and moan.
Lifting her head, Elsa grinned with satisfaction and licked her lips as she crawled over Anna and looked down at her, who looked up at her with a grin and lifted her right hand to run her fingers through Elsa's hair.
"I think I prefer the short hair look."
"Short hair it is then." commented Elsa, before she lowered her lips to kiss her briefly.
"Your turn." stated Anna, upon Elsa pulling back.
"Heh, you don't need a break?" asked Elsa with a smirk.
"Nope." answered Anna, before she prompted a gasp from Elsa as she quickly hugged her and rolled them over so that she was on top. "Besides, we can't be gone too long after all, or people will wonder where we are."
"And we can't have them worry." replied Elsa as she lifted her right hand to caress Anna's cheek, who chuckled, before lowering herself down between Elsa's thighs. "Oh, going right to it huh?" she teased.
"Yep!" answered Anna delightful, before she brought a moan from Elsa as she gave her a single slow lick of her labia.
However, following the giggle from Anna, she moved her hands to Elsa's blushing lips and gently parted them with her thumbs and was about to repeat the lick, before she paused upon seeing the barrier of her sister's hymen; two small left and right openings separated with a fleshy band between them.
"Hey, Elsa?"
"Hmm?" replied Elsa, looking down to Anna with delight, before seeing a look of thought on her face, and Anna lifting her gaze to meet hers with a little smile, though Elsa felt Anna teasing her lips, moving her thumbs up and down along their length.
"Do you remember when you said you weren't quite ready to have your hymen broken and I agreed that I wasn't ready to do it either?" asked Anna.
"Oh..." replied Elsa, her eye widening. "Yeah..."
"Well..." stated Anna, smiling nervously and averting her gaze. "I'd like to."
"Now?"
"Yeah... But if you're not ready yet, I can wait! It's no big deal!"
"Hmm..." hummed Elsa, before she looked upward, to the trees and the blue sky above them, hearing the rustle of the wind-blown leaves and the sounds of nature all around them. "I have wondered what it must feel like to have your fingers and tongue inside me like you can."
"And one of your icy dildos?" added Anna with a smirk, which prompted a chuckle from Elsa.
"Yes, that too. You were quite vocal when I used it on you."
"Heh, and I'm the quite one." teased Anna, which only prompted Elsa to look at her with a smirk. "So..."
"Is there anyone around?" asked Elsa.
"Nope, we're still alone; except for maybe Gale." answered Anna, before Elsa chuckled and Anna was a little surprised when the icy walls around them flurried away, fully exposing them.
"I'm ready." stated Elsa, with a red-faced smile. "But you make me come once, then we head back."
"Deal!" replied Anna delightfully.
Anna then returned her gaze back to Elsa's blushing labia and spread them again, briefly admiring the fleshy barrier that would soon be no more. Extending her tongue, Elsa flinched with a small inhale as Anna licked the barrier briefly, before circling her tongue around the blocked-off entrance, which urged a moan from Elsa and a squirming of her hips.
Following a minute of teasing licks and quite moans from Elsa, now laying on her back, relaxing in the pleasure; Anna pulled her tongue away, swallowing the taste that remained on her tongue, before she briefly placed her right hands middle and ring fingers into her mouth and directed them between the blushing lips of Elsa's labia and contacted the wall, with a small flinch from Elsa.
"Ready?" asked Anna, before she heard a slow breath from Elsa.
"Yeah, do it."
"Ok..." replied Anna, before she also took a breath. Anna started to push, before she stopped and asked. "You want me to do it slow or fast?"
"Won't it hurt more if you do it slow?" asked Elsa.
"I don't know, I guess."
"Did it hurt with you?"
"Well mine broke from ballet and stretching." answered Anna.
"You didn't feel anything?"
"Well, yeah, but it wasn't so painful to make me gasp out in pain, I thought I just stretched a little too much without warming up enough. The blood in my underwear was a real shocker though." answered Anna, before Elsa lifted herself on her elbows with concern.
"Was it a lot of blood?"
"At the time I thought it wa-N-No! It wasn't a lot!" answered Anna, before Elsa groaned.
"Just do it fast before I start freaking out!" stated Elsa, lowering herself to her back and closing her eyes.
"Ok, ok." replied Anna, before she gave a low groan. 'Nice going there Anna, freak her out about the blood.' she thought, before she began a countdown. "Three, two, one..."
Anna quickly thrusts her fingers forward, forcing her way through the barrier and into Elsa's once unexplored and rather snug depths. The thrust prompted an immediate flinch and gasp of pain from Elsa.
"Ow!" declared Elsa as her thighs attempted to close but Anna's presence blocked the attempt.
"You ok?" asked Anna, keeping her fingers as still as she could to minimize Elsa's discomfort.
The wince of pain on Elsa's face faded after a moment.
"Yea..." answered Elsa. "I'm good. That didn't hurt as much as I was expecting. It stings more than anything."
"Good."
"What about the blood?" asked Elsa, as she sat up on her hands, looking down at Anna's fingers buried inside her.
"Well I think I got you plugged up right now." replied Anna. "But how does it feel having my fingers all the way in right now?"
"Well I still felt a bit of stinging pain right now, but I feel a sort of... fullness, like when you have your fingers in my butt, it's different though.." answered Elsa, which prompted a chuckle from Anna.
"Now you can have two times the feeling."
The remark prompted a smile from Elsa, before Anna added...
"I'm gonna pull my fingers out now."
"Ok."
Elsa then winced as she felt Anna's fingers retreat, particularly around the entrance of her vagina, where her hymen was, Anna's fingers likely aggravating the still fresh wound.
"Hmm, not as much blood as I was expecting." stated Anna, as she saw her fingers covered in a streaks of red while a small trail of blood left Elsa.
"Yeah." added Elsa.
"So, feel any different down here now that your opened up?"
"Heh, no, just a lingering ache."
"Well, until the pains all gone, how about a little of your favorite?" asked Anna with a smirk as she lowered her bloody fingers down to Elsa's anus and teased it.
Elsa simply smiles and lowers herself to her back again.
"Make sure you switch hands before you stick your fingers in me again." warned Elsa.
"Of course."
Anna then returned her tongue to Elsa, to her clit, prompting a flinch and small gasp from her, while a small groan left her as Anna gently pushed her two bloody fingers through the tight opening of Elsa's anus, though the task wasn't too difficult as she heard a sigh from Elsa and her anus relax a little and upon passing the first knuckle of her fingers, Anna's fingers seemed to be sucked in.
Fully inserted, Elsa let out a satisfied moan as Anna felt her fingers repeatedly squeezed, before Anna urged a pleasured, soft moan from Elsa as she wriggled her fingers inside of her as she also licked at her clit.
After a minute light teasing, a cooing moan left Elsa as Anna began to slowly move her fingers in and out; However, Elsa's moan quickly shifted to a gasp when Anna lowered her tongue from her sisters clit and slowly plunged it as deep as she could reach into Elsa's newly opened vagina.
The sensation was comparable to Anna's fingers in her butt, but the 'fullness' was the biggest similarity; beyond that, it was a different feeling entirely as Elsa found her hips reactively moving towards Anna's tongue, trying to get more of it inside of her.
However, a delighted squeal-like moan left Elsa; quickly stopped with Elsa placing a hand over her mouth in a muffled moan, as she felt Anna's tongue wriggling around inside of her as well as her hips squirming in the unexpectedly delightful sensations.
'This feels so weird!' thought Elsa. 'But soooo good! Like a wriggling wet finger reaching inside me! This is what I've been doing to Anna!'
Anna herself giggled with delight from Elsa's reaction to the new sensations, but didn't falter in her task; Eagerly wriggling her tongue and thrusting her fingers in and out of Elsa's relaxing anus. Anna delighted her ears with Elsa's increased muffled moans, before she felt a hand on her head.
The contact urged Anna on and quickly shifted from wriggling her tongue to repeated quick thrusts of it. The new act prompted a muffled gasp from Elsa, before she spoke...
"N-not so fast! Slower! That's-nngh too much!"
'Too much?' thought Anna. 'For Elsa? The one who can come a dozen times?' she added with delight.
Rather than slowing, Anna delightfully quickened her act, urging a loud, gasping moan from Elsa, before it was quickly muffled. Elsa's squirming also increased enough for Anna to remove her fingers from Elsa and secure her with wrapping her hands around Elsa's thighs to steady her as she alternated between rapid thrusts of her tongue and wriggling of it, giving Elsa the 'break' she wanted, but still continuing her pleasure.
For Elsa, with the sensations so new and pleasurable, she couldn't do much but receive the pleasure Anna gave her, who was clearly excited to give it.
Just seconds into Anna's excited tonguing of her newly opened hole, Elsa resigned herself to the pleasure and moved her hand from her mouth to join her right on Anna's head as she moaned out into the forest.
Elsa lasted nearly a minute more of Anna's tongue before she groaned into a blissful moan as her moment came. Elsa though finally felt Anna pull her tongue away and move her lips up slightly as she felt herself release a powerful and pleasurable stream of her cum into Anna's waiting mouth. The first stream ended after just a second, before a blissful wail leaves Elsa as another pleasurable and lengthy stream left her for Anna to drink up.
Following a third lengthy stream, then a shorter fourth, Elsa fell limp and shuttered in the lingering waves of the fading pleasure, before a final, fifth spurt left her.
Elsa soon felt Anna's lips retreat from her and a delighted moan from her before she saw Anna crawl over her with a grin and licking her lips.
"You let out a lot."
Elsa simply smiled back at Anna, before she added, teasingly...
"You were awfully loud though." the remark, prompted an embarrassed look on Elsa's face, before the dome reappeared around them, which prompted a chuckle from Anna. "We're definitely going to have to find a way to turn you down a notch or two if we're gonna do this with Mother and Father in the castle."
"Maybe we'll tell them and they'll just have to deal with it." replied Elsa with a smirk. "I am Queen after all."
"But wouldn't Father still be King once we return, and Mother..."
"Hmm, well I am Queen." stated Elsa. "Did the coronation and all. I'm sure Mother and Father will help out in that area."
"Hehe, kinda weird to think that Mother would be a princess now." commented Anna, before she leaned over to lay on her back to Elsa's right, looking up at the dome ceiling.
"Yeah, pretty weird."
The two simply sat in silence for a few moments, before Elsa felt her right hand grabbed by Anna, drawing her gaze to see Anna looking at her with a smile.
"I love you, Elsa."
"Heh, I love you too, Anna." replied Elsa with a smile, before she leaned over to kiss Anna.
"So, need a few more minutes before we head back?" asked Anna.
"Not really, but let's stay here for a few more minutes. Having some time to ourselves is nice after the craziness yesterday."
"Fine by me!"
A few moments passed and Elsa removed the ceiling of the dome, like before, revealing the trees and sky above them.
"I'm gonna go find mom when we head back and talk to her." stated Elsa. "Wanna come?"
"Hmm... I'll pass." replied Anna. "Mother got pretty upset, so I'd rather her come to me. At least that way I know she's willing to talk."
"It's gonna be OK Anna."
"I know."
- Ten minutes later -
Upon parting from Anna and returning to the camp in search of her mother, Elsa spotted Yelana and Mattias talking, along with a second Northuldra woman with long brunette hair, whose back was to her.
Elsa walked towards the trio, maybe they could direct her to her mothers location and at the very least, greet them. Nearing them, Elsa saw Yelana and Mattias turn to her; the lieutenant smiled with a slight bow of his head.
"Good morning, Your Majesty." greeted Mattias.
"Good morning." added Yelana with a smile as well.
"'Morning." replied Elsa, however, her follow-up question wasn't even needed as the second Northuldra woman turned around and was revealed to be Iduna herself. "Oh, Mother."
Iduna was dressed like her; or rather, dressed like the Northuldra and her hair undone to blow freely in the wind.
"Elsa, your up!" stated Iduna with a delighted smile.
"Y-yeah..." replied Elsa. "I didn't recognize you from the back." she added. "You look so much better compared to last night."
"Thanks, I feel a lot better." stated Iduna. "Got some food in me and a good nights rest." she added, before Mattias commented...
"Well I'll leave you two to talk."
"So will I." added Yelana as the two leave.
"I wasn't interrupting anything, was I?" asked Elsa.
"No, no, we were just sharing stories." replied Iduna with a smile, before she placed her hand on Elsa's left upper arm. "You look much better too Elsa, relaxed and rested."
"Thanks. I'm surprised how well the new look fits you; but I guess I shouldn't be, this is your home after all." replied Elsa, before she smiled at her mothers appearance. "You really look like you belong here."
Iduna only smiled at the compliment and averted her gaze, though Elsa could tell something was on Iduna's mind.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, no, it's nothing; nothing you need to worry about anyway." answered Iduna as she pulled her hand away, though Elsa took her hand in both of hers.
"You sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure." replied Iduna with a smile, soon joined by Elsa.
"Ok."
However, Elsa soon noticed Iduna looked down to her hands holding hers and Iduna looked at Elsa's hands curiously and turned her hand so that Elsa's left hand was positioned on top.
"Is that a wedding ring?"
Elsa gasped and snatched her hand away and placed it behind her back as her face flared red.
"N-no! It's not!"
Iduna gave her daughter a curious look.
"It's a ring, on your most important finger." stated Iduna, before she gave a big smile. "Are you married Elsa!? Whose the lucky guy!?"
"It's not a wedding ring!" declared Elsa. "I'm not married!"
"Really?" asked Iduna with a disappointed pout, before her delight returned, "It's just a band; Then it's an engagement ring!"
Elsa opened her mouth to deny the claim, but couldn't will the lie from her mouth in front of her mother and simply averted her gaze, which prompted an excited squeal from Iduna as she hugged her.
"I'm SOOO happy for you! Even with us gone, you continued to live your life! I can't wait to met the lucky guy!"
'Ohhh man...' thought Elsa. 'This isn't the best start to the reveal.'
"H-Hey, Mother..." stated Elsa with an embarrassed smile as she pushed Iduna away, who excitedly smiled at her. "I wanted to talk to you about something."
"Oh, OK." replied Iduna.
"Anna told me you two got into an argument."
"Oh..." replied Iduna as her delight faded sharply and Elsa felt bad for deflating her mother mood so quickly, as she closed her eyes with a sigh. "Yeah... It wasn't so much an argument, rather me yelling at her."
"What was it about?" asked Elsa, as she place her right hand on Iduna's shoulder.
"I'm sure Anna told you."
"Yeah, but I want to hear it from you."
"I wanted her to heal my mother, against my mothers wishes." revealed Iduna, before she gave a heavy sigh. "I owe Anna an apology; I said things I shouldn't have; put her in a difficult spot I shouldn't have. My stress and emotions about my mother got the better of me."
Elsa then saw her mother shake her head and continue...
"Honestly, I deserve this; the lying, abandoning my people, dying; just to be brought back in time to see my mother dying."
Tears welling up in her eyes, Elsa quickly hugs Iduna.
"You're wrong Mother. I see this as a good thing. You have the opportunity to be with your mother while she still lives. If I knew my time with you or father was limited, I'd cherish every minute I got with you! This is a gift Mother."
Elsa then felt Iduna return the hug, with a few sniffles coming from her.
"You're right; thank you, Elsa. I need to enjoy the time I have left with her. Not wallow in a pit of self-loathing."
Elsa soon pulled back with a smile, returned by Iduna, who wipes her tears from her face.
"I'll go find Anna and apologize." stated Iduna.
"I'll go with you." stated Elsa.
The two found Anna in the same location Elsa previous located Anna, now standing against a tree, though Silvia and the kids nowhere to be seen.
"Anna." called Elsa. "Mother's here."
Anna turned and stepped out of from behind the tree with a little smile.
"Hey."
However, Anna saw Elsa quickly walk towards her, ahead of her mother and took her right hand and moved it between them as she hugged her long enough to pull the ring from her finger.
"H-Hey!"
"I'll explain later!" whispered Elsa, before she released Anna and stood to her right as Iduna stopped in front of them.
"Anna..." started Iduna. "I shouldn't have put you in the position that I did. I'm truly sorry about our fight earlier and my behavior."
Anna smiled and stepped towards Iduna and hugged her.
"I forgive you Mother. I know it's a lot to deal with."
"Thank you, Anna." stated Iduna, hugging Anna's back. "I'll enjoy the remaining time you've allowed me to have with my mother."
"I'm glad you have this time." replied Anna, before Iduna pulled back. "I'd really like to heal her, but she doesn't want me to. I have to respect her choice."
"So do I." stated Iduna. "As hard as it is." she added, before taking a deep, slow breath and releasing it just a slowly, before a smile came to her face. "But I have three years of catching up to do with you two and even more with Magna."
"Yeah." replied Anna with a smile. "And we have plenty to tell you."
"Yes you do." stated Iduna with a smirk, before she reached towards Elsa's left hand and lifted it. "Like Elsa's engagement! Whose the lucky guy!? Elsa refuses to tell me!"
"Oh..." gasped Anna. "Right..." added Anna, looking to Elsa, who gave a nervous chuckle. "Elsa's engagement... Well, Elsa's special someone is gorgeous!" stated Anna with a smile.
"Anna..." commented Elsa, she hoped Anna would try to dismiss the question.
"Hehe, see how embarrassed Elsa gets?" declared Anna delightfully. "When we were younger, she wasn't into the lovely dovey stuff, now she's madly in love!" she added, before Elsa groaned and placed a hand over her blushing face.
"Aww!" cooed Iduna. "What's his name?"
"Ann... twan. Antwan." answered Anna, briefly catching herself. "H-He's a prince, from-"
"Anna that's enough." declared Elsa, with a sigh. "I don't want you lying to Mother about this."
"Lying?" asked Iduna, before Elsa answered with a sigh.
"I am engaged Mother, but not to an 'Antwan'. I don't want to talk about it right now though."
"Why not?" asked Iduna.
"I just don't." answered Elsa. "With everything happening, you and Father are more important to me right now."
Iduna sighed with a smile.
"Ok, but don't leave your father and me out of the loop too long."
"I won't, once everything has settled, I'll tell you all about them." stated Elsa.
"Alright then, I won't pry; as much as I want to!"
"Thanks." replied Elsa.
"Well I'll head back." stated Iduna, before she turned and walked away as Elsa and Anna waved her good-bye, before Elsa glared at Anna.
"You just can't help yourself, can you?"
"Come on, you'd have done the same thing." replied Anna with a grin, which Elsa could say nothing but pout.
- An hour later, Outside of Camp -
"Kill them all! Every last man, woman and child!"
Alone, Elsa stood to her father's left as the memory of King Runeard's murderous betrayal played out in front of them, before the memory ended with Runeard being shot with multiple arrows.
"Ohh, Father..." sighed Agnarr, lowering his gaze and shaking his head in sadness. "Why?" Following Elsa placing a hand to his shoulder, Agnarr lifted his gaze and looked to her with a little smile. "Thank you for showing me this Elsa. I had no idea my Father was planning to betray the Northuldra." he added, before sighing. "I have to make this right; The people of Arendelle don't think too fondly of the Northuldra on the assumption that they betrayed us and killed Father, but it's the other way around."
"WE will make this right Father." stated Elsa, with a smile, joined by Agnarr, who smiled and lifted his right hand to pat Elsa's on his shoulder.
"Of course."
"Arendelle has to know the truth." commented Elsa. "Anna and I are part Northuldra. They will be welcome in Arendelle if they chose to visit."
"The older citizen's may not accept that." warned Agnarr, which Elsa paused in brief thought.
"We'll deal with that if and when it arises. But I will not turn away any Northuldra."
"Neither will I." added Agnarr with a smile, before Elsa hugged him.
"I'm so glad you two are back."
"So am I." replied Agnarr as he returned the embrace, before Elsa pulled back. "Your powers have really grown Elsa. They were amazing when you were little, but they're even more amazing now."
Elsa giggled at the compliment, before she lifted her left hand to create a floating snowflake.
"Wanna see what else I can do?"
"Sure!"
- An hour later -
After enjoying the morning with their new family, upon Elsa's suggestion, Anna agreed it was time to return to Arendelle, especially given the trip was expected to be just a few hours, not an overnight one; those at the castle were likely worried about them.
Now, Elsa, Anna, Cassandra, Silvia, Agnarr, Mattias and all the Arendelle solders gather in the middle of camp, giving their farewells to the Northuldra, however, one person was missing...
"Mother's a little late." stated Anna, now wearing her satchel again and carrying her glass coat, while she and Elsa still wore the Northuldra clothing, after being told the clothing was theirs to keep.
"Yeah..." replied Elsa, "Maybe someth-" she added, before the group saw Iduna arrive.
"Sorry I'm a little late." stated Iduna.
"That's ok." replied Anna. "We were still saying our good-bye's." she added, before Cassandra's owl flew down and Cassandra extended her right arm for him to perch on.
"Joining me huh?" commented Cassandra, before a couple of kids hurried to Cassandra and she knelt with her owl as the kids gave their good-bye's to the owl, petting and rubbing him, which he clearly enjoyed.
Elsa and Anna briefly smiled at the sight, before they returned their gaze to their mother and Elsa asked...
"Ready?"
However, Iduna gave a little smile.
"About that... I'm not coming."
"Wha, why!?" gasped Elsa, before Anna commented...
"Your mother."
"Oh, right." replied Elsa.
"Yeah..." stated Iduna. "I'd feel bad just leaving her; I want to stay until she's-"
"We understand, Mother." stated Elsa.
"Yeah, take all the time you need." added Anna, before she and Elsa reached out their arms and Iduna walked into a joint hug, soon a group hug as Agnarr joined in.
Upon pulling back, Elsa, Anna and Iduna all wiped the tears from their eyes, before Silvia created a portal, though the other side looked unfamiliar; a large bedroom neither sister recognized, though the Northuldra all looked amazed by the portals presence.
"One moment." stated Silvia. "I have a little gift I just thought of for your mother."
Silvia then walked though the portal and opened a drawer and pulled something out of it before returning through the portal, which closes and offered Iduna a small crystalline marble.
"This creates a single-use portal." stated Silvia. "Just place it in the palm of your hand, think about the place you want to go, crush it in your hand and toss the dust in front of you."
"T-Thank you." replied Iduna, taking the marble.
"Just make sure you are the one that walks through." stated Silvia. "The portal only allows one person through before closing."
"Thank you." repeated Iduna, before she hugged Silvia, who patted Iduna's back.
"Heh, just don't want you separated from your daughters any longer than you need to be."
Iduna soon pulls back from Silvia and Elsa comments...
"We'll still come visit in the meantime, maybe a week from now."
"I'd like that." replied Iduna, before Elsa gave a shutting sigh and wiped the tears from her face again, before she looked to Silvia.
"We're ready."
Silvia then created another portal, this time in the familiar location of the Castle's Council Chambers.
"You first, Father." offered Elsa.
Agnarr smiled at the offer, before he stepped towards Iduna and gave her a hug and a brief kiss.
"I'll see you soon." stated Agnarr.
"Me too." replied Iduna with a teary smile.
Parting, Agnarr stepped up towards the portal, before stepping through it; Anna then looked to Mattias and the other soldiers.
"You and the others are next."
"Thank you, Your Highness, Your Majesty." replied Mattias, before he walked through the portal, followed by the other Arendelle soldier's.
"Cassandra." stated Elsa.
Cassandra simply smiles before walking through the portal as well, leaving just Elsa, Anna and Silvia; Elsa and Anna quickly hug Iduna again, before they looked around to the Northuldra around them and Elsa commented.
"Thank you all for accepting us! You are welcome in Arendelle!"
The sisters then see Honeymaren and Yelana walk towards them and Honeymaren hugs them both.
"It was so great to meet you two!"
"Same here!" replied Anna, before Yelana smiled and commented...
"You three are welcome here as well."
The sisters then hug Yelana, who returned the embrace, while Silvia grins at Honeymaren, who blushes at the eye contact, before Silvia commented...
"Thank you, I'll be sure to return."
Following another round of farewells from the sisters to everyone around, the two finally walk through the portal to join the others, followed by Silvia, before the portal closes behind her and tears trailed down the sisters faces; sad, but happy tears while the Arendelle soldiers expressed delight at finally returning home.
Silvia was then surprised when Elsa and Anna both hugged her and Anna commented...
"Thank you so much for this Silvia!"
"Yeah!" added Elsa. "We never would've gotten our parents back if it wasn't for you!"
"I-It was nothing." replied Silvia with a smile, before the sisters released her and wiped their faces. "I enjoyed our little adventure. Certainly the most action-packed quest to find a child's parents I had in a while. You both handled yourselves pretty well for your first adventure. Buuut I don't assume you'll be making this life and death stuff a regular thing, huh?"
The question prompted a chuckle from the sisters and Anna answered...
"Hehe, no, we're done."
"One life and death adventure is enough." added Elsa. "You're welcome here in Arendelle anytime, Silvia."
"Thank you!" replied Silvia delightfully. "You can come visit me too if you like; Just let Ahyoka know."
"Maybe we will." stated Elsa.
"Yeah, maybe we can meet your friends, like Edith or Lynn." added Anna.
"I'm sure they'd love to meet you two." replied Silvia, before creating another portal, "Well, if there's nothing else you require of me, I'll get out of your way while you two take care of things here.
"Alright." replied Elsa. "Thanks again for everything."
"Bye-bye!" added Anna, waving her hand.
Silvia also gave farewell wave of the hand, before she walked through the portal and it closed into nothing.
The sisters then turn their attention to Cassandra, standing near the crowd of soldiers, with her owl on her right shoulder and Elsa commented...
"You're free to stay here in Arendelle for the time being, Cassandra."
"Yeah!" added Anna delightfully. "Maybe we could send a message to Rapunzel letting her know your here!"
"Thank you." replied Cassandra with a smile. "I'm sure you two are going to be busy though for a while, so I won't stay too long; I'll be on the first ship out."
"Oh come on!" stated Anna, waving off Cassandra's reply. "You're Rapunzel's friend, OUR friend; stay as long as you want! Oh! You can tell us about your adventure from your side of it!"
Cassandra chuckles at Anna excitement.
"You really want me to stay?"
"Yeah." replied Elsa. "You don't have to leave as soon as you can. Stay and relax."
"Well I don't wanna be a freeloader." stated Cassandra, before Anna gasped...
"Oh! You have training, you could be a temporary Arendelle guard!"
Cassandra's interest was clearly piqued by the suggestion.
"Really?"
"Yeah." replied Elsa. "You don't have to agreed immediately though, take some time to think about it."
"I will, thank you." stated Cassandra.
The sisters then turned their attention to the small crowd in the room with a smile, there would be a lot of things to do, but Elsa and Anna were delighted to do it and Elsa commented to everyone...
"I'd like you all to stay here in the castle for the next few hours so that the doctors can check you and I can prepare for the announcement of your return, as well as Mother and Father."
"Yeah..." added Anna, taking Elsa's left hand in her right. "We have a busy day ahead of us."
However, given the sudden commotion, it was no surprise when the rooms doors opened, revealing Isabelle on the other side and gasped upon the sight she saw.
"Your Majesty, Your Highness, you're ba-" stated Isabelle, before her statement stopped upon her gaze meeting Agnarr who turned to face her. "T-The king!? Alive!?"
"Not so loud!" stated Anna, before motioning Isabelle in.
Cassandra, smiling at the sight, briefly looked around the room as the sisters planned out the days events with their father and the new arrival; before she walked to one of the nearby windows and looked out to the town of Arendelle and for now, her new home with a relaxed sigh.
- Kaleen -
"Well that was quite the adventure." commented Silvia as the portal closed behind her arriving in her bedroom, walked to her bed and sat, before she created another portal and a woman's voice spoke to her with delight.
"Hey Silvia; what'cha up to?"
"I just got back from a little overnight adventure with a pair of sisters." answered Silvia as she crossed her right leg over her left.
"Oh, the ones from, what was it you said... Irondelle?"
"Arendelle." corrected Silvia.
"Ah right, Arendelle." commented the woman. "Well, any success?"
"Absolutely! More than I expected; turned out their parents were alive after all."
"That's wonderful!"
"Sure is, they were really grateful for my help and now I'm friends with the Queen and Princess of Arendelle and welcome to visit. They're young, but surprisingly powerful magic users as well."
"Oh, maybe you could introduce me."
"Sure, they were open to meeting you anyway, especially the Princess; apparently Izzy told her all about you and Lynn."
"Hehe, well that's a little embarrassing. Whose Izzy?"
"Oh right, do you remember Ahyoka?"

Bonus Scene(s): This is a little fun idea I had around the time of Elsa leaving Ahtohallan on top of the glacier in its Elsa body, a fun 'what if' and that's; 'What if Elsa hadn't destroyed Ahtohallan's new body? What would Ahtohallan have done?' Let's find out! This will be multiple separate small scenes, once it starts, you'll see why.
Attempt #1
Ahtohallan watched the trio leave, Elsa's light fading in the distance.
"Interaction with people after so long is so enjoyable." stated Ahtohallan, before it then looked down to its hands with a genuine smirk and comment, "Thank-you for the body, Elsa." it added, before looking ahead to the large distance it had to cover. "Time to get to and free my body!" it added with delight as it began walking.
Upon finally reaching the edge of the glacier, Ahtohallan began its decent, however, it didn't get far before its left foot stepped on a weak piece of ice and its grip slipped from the ice it held on to as it fell.
"Darn..." sighed Ahtohallan, "No freedom for me today; doubt this body will survive the fall."
True to Ahtohallan's assumption, its body of ice and snow turned to fluffy white powder upon hitting the ground.
Attempt #2
"Finally!" declared Ahtohallan as it landed at the entrance, then looked up at the sheer icy wall with a smile. "There were some close calls there, but I made it down in one piece. Doubt this body could survive a fall."
After entering the glacier and upon reaching the second tunnel, Ahtohallan gasped as it slipped on the slick icy floor and fell to its back as it rapidly slides down the tunnel.
"Well Elsa made the stairs, I'll be fine." commented Ahtohallan.
However, with the speed it had, Ahtohallan gasped as she reached the stairs, but it wasn't lined up with them and sled off to the right of them as Ahtohallan vainly reached out its hands to the icy railing as it fell down into the void.
"Oh come on!"
If listened close, one could hear a faint thud from the blackness.
Attempt #3
"Whoa!" gasped Ahtohallan as it sped to a sudden stop as it grabbed the railing on both sides of the stairs, preventing it from flying up, landing and possibly breaking through the stairs. "Ohhh man, that was close! I'd be nothing but a pile of snow if I fell." it added before standing and walking down the stairs. "Good thing Elsa created this or I'd be stuck."
A few minutes later, Ahtohallan stopped at the rainbow wall and placed its hands to it, but nothing happened, which prompted a groan from it as Ahtohallan placed its forehead to the wall.
"Spoke too soon about being stuck. I have no way of opening the door!"
Attempt #4
"Almost there." commented Ahtohallan as it walked through the white void.
Reaching the far end, the Elsa replica went still as a statue as Ahtohallan left it, before the wall opened into a dark corridor and the replica came alive again as Ahtohallan entered and traveled deeper.
"Hmm." hummed Ahtohallan as it reached the end of the corridor to the empty black void, before its body went still again peering over the ledge.
Moments later, a large square sheet of ice rose into position.
"Body here I come!" declared Ahtohallan delightfully, before it gasped as the sheet suddenly dropped. "Oh right, no powers in the form!"
Ahtohallan then quickly jumped off the ledge and spread its arms and legs so that it was horizontal to the ground, before the sheet of ice rose again; a little too quickly as the sheet of ice impacted the snow body with enough force to break it into pieces that fell off the sheet.
Attempt #5
Upon the reaching the floor, after successfully catching the replica body and keeping it in one piece, Ahtohallan lifted the body to a standing position with a grin.
"That was a close one. Nothing left to stop me now!" stated Ahtohallan with delight, before it began jogging ahead in the darkness towards a glowing light in the distance. Upon nearing the source of the light, about a dozen or so yards away, revealed it to be a large crystal.
"There you are my beautiful self!" declared Ahtohallan, as it neared the crystalline structure, which contained a female figure suspended inside of it, appearing to be asleep; A woman with short, black hair. "Honestly, some people can't take a joke!" stated Ahtohallan with a pout. "Like Anna said, as long as no one was-Ah!"
Suddenly, Ahtohallan found itself trip and fall.
"What the?" questioned Ahtohallan, before looking back at what ever it could had falling from and gasped as it saw its feet turning blue, and solid.
"I'm freezing!?" gasped Ahtohallan, as it saw the freeze advancing up its body rapidly. "No! No! No! I'm so close!" stated Ahtohallan as it turned over and began crawling towards the crystal.
However, the further the ice traveled, the heavier its body became, before Ahtohallan felt its progress halted as its left arm was frozen solid, before it vainly reached out its right hand towards the crystal, still over a dozen yards away as the ice rapidly traveled up its body, before Ahtohallan chuckled.
"Oh right, I have no magic in this form; I have no way to free myself any-"
