AN:/Here is the third chapter I promised. I will try to update sooner but can't promise. Enjoy.

Chapter 32: Home Pt. 2

Today was the day Ulquiorra was coming home. Orihime was all giddy and excited to have him home again, that she cleaned the whole house until it shined. Murcielago watched Orihime being frantic with happiness, knowing that master Uluiorra was coming back. He smiled and couldn't wait to tell his Master about this. Her phone ragged on the kitchen table. Orihime grabbed it, thinking Janette was on the other, but instead, it was Ulquiorra.

"Greetings, Onna," Ulquiorra said.

"Hi Ulquiorra, how are you? Are you almost home?" she asked. Orihime tried not to sound so excited, but she heard Murcielago giggle, and she knew that she wasn't doing a great job.

"We'll be home in an hour or so, and I'm fine, just tired," he answered, "I did get the items you wanted from the apartment and other things."

"What else did you get?" Orihime asked, confused. All she wanted was pictures from her old home, but did Ulquiorra get something out of her place.

"I'll present it to you when we're at the house."

"Okay, I'm about to leave for the airport, so I'll see you soon."

"Understood. Bye."

"Bye." Orihime hung up the phone and wondered what Ulquiorra had gotten her, but she had to wait until he got home, as he said. Orihime went ahead and grabbed MurMur and went upstairs to get ready to leave the house.

At the Airport

Janette was waiting at the gate with impatience. She's been missing Eric for months and Orihime for days. Janette got back home just two days ago from Paris, buying a painting for a client. The last time she saw her adorable friend, Orihime, was at lunch a couple of weeks ago. After that, they couldn't communicate much because she and Orihime became too busy with work.

"Janette," Orihime called, waving, walking towards her while carrying Murcielago on her hip, "I missed you so much. How are you?"

"Orihime, I missed you too. Oh my god, Murcielago, you're still so cute. I'm fine, but a little husband sick," Janette answered, giving Orihime and Murcielago a hug.

"Husband sick?" Orihime laughed. She sat down in the chairs, and Murcielago settled himself on her lap.

"It's like homesickness, but it's for husbands instead," Janette explained.

They began catching up on what was going on since they saw each other. Janette and Orihime were so busy talking that they didn't hear the flight lady announcing their husbands' plane had landed on the strip. Murcielago listened to the announcement and became jittery with excitement. His Master was finally back. Things were finally going to be back to normal until one of them had to go back to work. He could feel his masters; spiritual pressure coming closer. Orihime, too felt Ulquiorra's spiritual pressure. She slowly released her pressure to signal him where she was located. It was a few minutes later until the men finally exited the gate. Eric jogged over to Janette, picked her up out of the seat, twirled her around, and kissed her, which she gladly accepted. Orihime blushed by watching the scene. Ulquiorra didn't seem to care. Scenes like this happen all the time in Hueco Mundo, so he's very used to seeing it. He turned his attention to Orihime and his materialized sword. He hadn't seen Onna in weeks, and instead of paying to him, she was giving it to his partner and his mate having a moment.

"It seems like you didn't 'miss me' like I assumed or heard from you," Ulquiorra said, announcing his presence. Orihime jumped at the sound of his voice and turned to him, blushing a bright red. He had a point. She gave all her attention to the happy couple in front of them but not giving it to the man she missed the most. Orihime speed walked over to Ulquiorra and gave him a big crushing hug. Ulquiorra wrapped one arm around her waist while the other stayed by his side since Murcielago was holding on to it. Ulquiorra breathed in her scent. He missed her over the long weeks, but having Onna in his arms made him feel reassured that she would be safe again in his care, and everything will be back to normal.

"I'm so happy you're back. I missed you so much. Are you feeling better? How was the competition? Were you safe out there?" Orihime blubbered.

"I'm faring well, Onna. The competition was an acceptable match. I'm quite confused about what you mean by 'safe?' I'm always safe, but to humor you- yes, I was considered safe. I also missed your presence," Ulquiorra answered, "but I would appreciate it if we could go to our home dwelling. I need to rest."

Orihime nodded in agreement. She turned to tell Janette that they're heading home and see them later for dinner, but no one was there. It seemed like Janette and Eric left when she and Ulquiorra were talking. A giggle escaped her. Orihime knew that Janette missed Eric very much, so she dismissed it and decided to text her later about dinner. Orihime placed her attention back on Ulquiorra and giggled once again. Murcielago climbed on Ulquiorra's back, messing with his hair. Ulquiorra didn't seem to mind but looked tired. "Let's go home, Ulquiorra. You can sleep while I'm making dinner." Orihime grabbed his hand, and they left the airport to go home.

At Home

"You can go upstairs to rest, and dinner will be ready in about two hours or so," Orihime instructed. Ulquiorra didn't need to be told twice. He removed Murcielago from his back and climbed the stairs to their room to get more sleep. Murcielago wanted to be with his Master but knew Ulquiorra needed rest, so he went to help Orihime with fixing dinner. He skipped towards the kitchen, and to his surprise, Orihime was ready for him with his apron in her hands. Murcielago jumped up and down while Orihime was putting it on him.

"Now, let us make dinner," Orihime said, pumping her fist in the air. Murcielago followed suit. Orihime sent a text to Janette real quick to see if they were still coming over. She knew that there might not be a chance Janette and Eric would come for dinner, but she'll leave them a to-go plate just in case. Orihime went into the fridge to get the rest of the food she prepared yesterday and started to get it ready for tonight.

Ulquiorra was out cold in their bedroom. Even though he slept on the plane, Ulquiorra couldn't figure out how he was still tired. For the first time, he didn't change his clothes before going into bed. He flopped on the bed and went to sleep.

'I'll only get a few hours before Onna wakes me up," Ulquiorra thought.

Janette did text Orihime back after an hour, but Orihime was too busy cooking and setting up the table. Murcielago already answered the text for her before going back to helping Orihime. Dinner was finished, and just at the moment, the doorbell rang. Orihime wiped her hands before leaving the kitchen and went to open the door. She opened the door to see Janette and Eric all dressed up. Well, Janette was dressed to the nines while Eric was ready to go to a buffet and eat to the nines. It took all of her control not to laugh, but Orihime kept it in.

"Welcome to my home. Please, come on in, take off your shoes, and rest in the living room while I fix the plate. Ultimately, Ulquiorra will be down soon. Orihime welcomed.

"Thank you for having us, Orihime," Eric smiled. She motioned them in. Janette and Eric took off their shoes and followed Orihime to the living room.

"Mommy, I'm going to get daddy," Murcielago announced, running upstairs. Ulquiorra was at the top of the stairs, already dressed and hungry.

"No need, Murcielago. I'm awake," Ulquiorra commanded, coming down the stairs. Murcielago hummed and followed his Master to the living room with Janette and Eric. Murcielago climbed on Ulquiorra's lap after his Master sat down in a recliner.

"So, Ulquiorra, how was your first contest? I don't know if Japan has one," Eric asked, starting a conversation.

"We don't have competitions like this, but there is one for Architects. I did find the competition to be interesting," Ulquiorra said, "I wouldn't mind doing more."

Eric nodded at his partner and waited for Orihime to call them. He's been waiting for Ulquiorras' wife's food for weeks after the last time he had it. Eric also wanted Janette to try it too since she loves eating different kinds of food, so Eric knew Janette would love today's dinner. Orihime had the table filled with food and drinks. She made sure to place labels in front of each container so their guest wouldn't have to guess. After doing a once over, Orihime called them to eat. Eric was the first one at the table, ready to chow down. Ulquiorra, Janette, and Murcielago came in last. They all sat down and started to eat.

"I hope you guys will enjoy it. Itadakimasu."

"Itadakimasu," everyone harmonized. They dug in and were in heaven.

"Orihime, this is delicious," Janette exclaimed, "if you don't mind me asking, what are these delicacies?"

"Sure, for dessert, I made for you guys that will be served with green tea is daifuku filled with sweet red beans, andango, mitarashi, and hanami Dango, namagashi, wagashi, and jiggly cheesecake. There is yakitori, donduri, curry rice, gyoza, takoyaki, and onigiri for the main. Lastly, for the sides, a bowl of rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and a light salad," Orihime explained, naming off each dish.

"Wow, I can't believe you made all of this," Janette praised.

"I'm so glad that I was able to wait for your cooking," Eric said while shoving food in his mouth.

"Thank you. I'm glad that you like it so much," she giggled. Orihime turned her attention to her fake husband to see if he was enjoying the food. It seemed like he was by the way he was eating it. Ulquiorra was enjoying each bite of food that was on his plate. He usually doesn't show appreciation, but he wanted to show it. Onna better made the food than the places they ate from the hotel. Ulquiorra missed Onna's cooking terribly. Well, except for her weird concoction foods, but other than that, her food was the only thing he could stomach besides souls. Murcielago was having fun playing with his food and shoving it in his mouth. Janette and Orihime giggled at their men at the table. One was playing with his food. Eric was eating so fast that he was almost inhaling it. Ulquiorra was eating like a nobleman. Dinner went by without a hitch. Eric and Janette left with their stomachs full of food and five to-go containers. Ulquiorra and Murcielago cleaned up and put the food away. Orihime appreciated the help and thought it would be an excellent opportunity to give Ulquiorra his gifts. Hence, she went upstairs to get his surprise. Ulquiorra finished washing the dishes. He wiped his hands on a towel and left the kitchen to find Orihime. She wasn't in the living room or anywhere downstairs.

'She must be upstairs,' he thought. Ulquiorra went back into the living room to rest a bit.

"Ulquiorra, I have something to give you," Orihime called. She jumped off the final steps and walked into the living room. Ulquiorra turned to see her carrying a lot of bags. Orihime sat down on the couch and handed him his gifts. Ulquiorra took the bags from her and opened them to see books, a weird looking remote, clothes, a strange lettering kit, shoes and seemed like blades. He then went out to survey each edge. They were of excellent quality. Ulquiorra was quite surprised that she got him this much from Italy. The blades were terrific, but the only two things that confused him were the kit and remote.

"What are these strange contraptions, Onna?" he asked.

"Oh, this one here (grabbing the kit) is a massage kit. I know there will be times when you're going to be tired or sore, so I thought this would be good for you when that happens. This one (she grabbed the remote) is remote to your own man cave."

"...excuse me?" Ulquiorra asked, quirking an eyebrow, "What is this 'man cave' you speak of?"

"Come on, let me show you. A man cave is a room that is designed for men to rest and consume themselves to their hobbies when they want to be away from the family." She grabbed his hand and guided him downstairs. Orihime and Ulquiorra walked down the stairs and walked towards the wall with a flashing keypad on it. Orihime grabbed the remote and pointed it at the keypad. The wall disappeared, and a door appeared in its place. She motioned him to go in. Ulquiorra was skeptical about going in, but he decided to humor Onna and went inside. The room was simple and elegant. It looked like what a samurai would reside in, which did match Ulquiorra's sleek personality. Blades were mounted on the walls. The colors were neutral and not too flashy. Other doors needed to be explored, but Ulquiorra didn't pay any heed to them. He was in disbelief that Onna had done this while he was away.

"Do you like it? It's your getaway from all the stress of work or me. Oh, and the pad is portable, so you can take it with you when you travel.," Orihime replied. Ulquiorra didn't know what to say. No one, not even Aizen-sama, hasn't done this for him. He didn't know if anyone did this for him in his past life. Ulquiorra didn't know how to express his appreciation. He never expected Orihime to go over and beyond for him, especially when he kidnapped her and was doing this mission to create a family.

"Thank you. I'm grateful that you thought of me," Ulquiorra said. Orihime smiled at him, glad that her gifts were welcomed and approved by him.

"I'm happy that you like it." They went back upstairs, and Ulquiorra gave Orihime the pictures she had requested him to get for her and the books he took from the Soul Society. She gaped at all the books Ulquiorra given her. Orihime looked at him, confused.

Ulquiorra saw this and explained, "You are doing a lot. You study and travel for work, come to our abode to cook, clean, and rest. I figured you don't train, so I got you the books to help you get stronger with your powers and strength. Do you not like it?"

"It's not that. I do like it. It's just that I never thought you would get me anything, but it was really thoughtful of you to get me these. I will definitely use them," Orihime said, "Thank you."

The day ended, and it became night. Ulquiorra and Orihime were tired, so they went to bed.

AN:/I hope you liked it. In his own way, Ulquiorra thought of Orihime while he was in SS, which shows he cares. Murcielago is still his cute little self. Please, review, and stay safe.
