PREVIOUSLY-

It was almost as if I was floating on a cloud until I heard a "What the fuck?!" being yelled, along with "Language, Sam!"

I turned my head to see what was going on, only to see Quil with an unmistakable look on his face, staring into the gaze of none other than little Claire.

My eyes widened immediately. She was TWO YEARS OLD!

Sam grabbed Quil by the arm and hauled him off outside. "No! no! Sam, I promise it's not like that! Please! Let me explain!" Quil begged, tears running down his face, as Embry and I ran behind to watch.

"Go phase so that I can see it, NOW!" Sam bellowed as Emily came rushing behind, holding a, now crying, Claire.

Sam went into the woods and phased along with Quil. I had definitely not expected anything like this to happen, especially not at my wedding.

A few minutes later, they both came out with Sam shaking his head, and Quil looking like a petrified puppy.

"He thinks of her like an overprotective big brother, Emily. It's a soulmate imprint, but he won't manifest feelings until she's old enough, and he definitely doesn't see her like that now." Sam said to Emily.

Claire, in the meantime, was reaching her little arms out for Quil, who was patiently waiting for permission from Sam.

"We'll be keeping an extremely close eye on you at all times with her, Quil, and the elders will be notified tonight." Sam told him. Quil nodded, and Sam looked to Emily, silently giving her permission to hand Claire over to him.

The little girl practically flung herself into his arms and started laughing loudly. "Qwilly! Qwilly!"

"You want to go play with your barbies, Claire-bear?" He asked her, to which she responded "Yes! Yes! You pway wif me!"

Emily followed the pair, watching them like a hawk the entire time as I just stood in shock of what just happened.

"What just happened, Em?" I asked Embry, who was at my side, seemingly as shocked as me.

"Quil just imprinted on a two-year-old. Did anyone else know that could happen?" He asked the other wolves, who just shook their heads no.

"Well just when I thought things couldn't get any weirder." Charlie muttered, seemingly trying to understand. "And you're sure he just feels like he's an older brother?"

"Yes, when we imprint, we kind of see a small flash of the future. In Quil's mind, I saw that he'll be like her older brother/protector for several years, then her friend, and eventually feelings will develop when she is old enough. An imprint, and those of us who have imprinted understand, that we, as imprints, will be whatever our imprintee needs of us. All of the rest of us were old enough that our imprints were ready for a relationship, but Seth and Paul's imprint on Bella already proved there were things we don't understand fully. We have to believe that the great spirits have chosen for a reason." Sam explained to Charlie.

After a while, the excitement finally dwindled down as the pack came to accept the fact that Quil had imprinted on the least likely person. Soon it was time to get ready for the bonfire.

"Can I change before we go down for the bonfire? I don't want to ruin my dress sitting on the log." I asked Embry, who agreed.

"Hey Sam, I'm taking Bella home to change before we head down." Embry told him and we made our way back to our house, which was just down a small path through the trees from Emily's.

When we got to the front door, Embry opened it, picking me up and carrying me bridal style over our threshold before setting me down inside and kissing me thoroughly.

"Em, we have to get down to the bonfire." I told him, giggling as he kissed my neck while he untied my dress.

"We can be a few minutes late." He muttered, now trailing kisses down my back as my dress slid down my body.

"It's our bonfire." I tried to articulate, but he'd turned me around and pushed me gently back onto our bed.

"Yes, and you're my wife now. It's beautiful, but I've been dying to get that dress off you all day." He told me before officially consummating our marriage in the most glorious of ways.

We finally made it down to the bonfire, receiving whistles and cat calls as we arrived. "Couldn't wait, Embry?" Jared asked, laughing.

"If it was you who just got married to your imprint, could you?" Embry asked him back, his arm around my shoulder.

"Definitely not." Jared replied, kissing Kim.

I'd decided on comfort for the bonfire, choosing a pair of yoga pants and one of Embry's hoodies with the name CALL written on the back. I thought it was pretty fitting, seeing as I was now a Call myself.

I sat in between Embry's legs and Seth came over beside me, leaning up against my arm. He reached over and asked if he could feel the baby and I nodded, feeling her rolling around in there, kicking a particular place under my ribs that wasn't overly pleasant.

As soon as his hand was on my belly, she calmed down. "I think she likes you, Seth." I told him and he smiled brightly at me, pleased with what I told him.

"It feels so cool, knowing there's a little human in there, moving around." He said. "It's one thing to hear her heartbeat, but it's another to actually feel her."

"Yeah, it's pretty neat, isn't it?" Embry asked him, and he nodded.

"Hey, I haven't felt the little peanut move yet, scoot over, kid, it's my turn." Paul said, making Seth move. The baby started rolling around again almost immediately.

I took Paul's hand and placed it on the area where I could feel her moving and watched as his eyes lit up, looking over at Rachel, who was watching with a smile.

"That is pretty neat, mama wolf." He told me before heading back over to his imprint. Seth took his seat back beside me again as the elders began the ceremony.

It wasn't anything like the wedding ceremony, just stories of love being read over the bonfire, but it was wonderful.

After the stories were done, the elders went home, but the pack remained. I looked over to Paul and nodded, knowing it was time.

He grabbed Rachel's hand and pulled her over near the fire, before getting down on one knee and opening a ring box. I couldn't quite hear what was being said, but I saw Rachel burst into tears as she nodded yes before Paul slipped the ring onto her finger.

Everyone cheered and clapped happily. "So this is what he was asking you about earlier?" Embry whispered in my ear and I nodded.

Soon I found myself yawning and I knew it was about time to call it a night. "I think we're going to head home, guys. Thank you for everything today." I told everyone as Embry helped me stand up.

There was more whistles and cat calling as we started walking away, people yelling about enjoying our wedding night.

I laughed as we walked home. Embry had decided to carry me about half way back and I couldn't even fight him on it. My feet were tired from the long day.

We did manage to celebrate our wedding night twice more before falling asleep though, and I was quite proud of that.

We both decided that we didn't want to risk going on a honeymoon while Edward was still a threat, so instead we chose to enjoy our week with Embry patrol free. We decided to hang out at the beach as much as possible before it got too cold, and most importantly, we just relaxed.

A/N- The next chapter will be a bit of a time jump, but rest assured, the drama is coming quickly! Be prepared! I apologize for being so long with this update, I've had it written for over a month, but I've been in a bad place with my health. Anyways, I hope you enjoy and please review.
