Sigyn glanced over to the message device. She had not used it in a while. The girls were busy playing. She pushed play to listen to the rest of it. It was nice to hear from him again. She felt better listening to his voice, watching him move. He had specific messages to his children when they were older.

Sigyn didn't know she was on the last message. The hologram Loki looked straight at her. His face was somber.

"If you are listening to this," Loki started out. His voice holding no emotion. "I am dead." Sigyn's heart squeezed. Tears rolled down her eyes. Hologram Loki had tears forming in the corners of his eyes. "I am unable to return to your side." His voice started to crack. "I am unable to be there for our children. I have failed you, broken our promise." He paused. "I hope that I can see you again in the afterlife. I will be waiting there for you as you have always waited for me. Please show our children these messages that I have left for them. You can replay this as many times as you need. I dearest apologies from the very depths of my heart that you hold, Sigyn." Tears rolled down his eyes. "The oaths that we swore, I did not keep my side and-and I feel back to the days where I didn't deserve you, taking you for granted. I am honored and truly thankful that I got the chance to love you and start a family, something everyone thought I didn't deserve, even at times I thought I didn't deserve. I never wanted to fail you." He was heartbroken. "My forever, my wife. Please forgive me. I hope you will never forget me. I hope you will tell our children about me. I hope you keep my memory alive. I. Love. You."

The hologram disappeared. Sigyn had to sob quietly. This was the reality that was setting in, she wanted to deny it after hearing his last message to her. There was still hope, she tried to tell herself. She still needed to keep hope. He's not dead, she repeated in her mind. He's not dead. He will come back. He's not dead. She grabbed the message device, clutching it on her chest, she placed it in their chamber. Sigyn didn't want the girls to accidently play with it, repeating messages that may not be true. She hoped it wasn't true.

While that was happening, Thor and Rocket had traveled back to Asgard when the Aether was in Jane's body. Thor and Rocket were transported to one of the corridors that led to the dungeons.

"We must be quiet," Thor warned. "He'll over hear us."

"Who will over hear us?" Rocket whispered.

"Lo-my br-him," Thor had a hard time saying his name or saying it was his brother. "He's lounging in his cell, probably thinking of a way out." He shook his head. "I can't think about that now. They end up together after this. It will be okay." Thor tried to comfort himself. Rocket didn't say anything. "Follow me."

Thor tip-toed by the cells to go up the stairs. He couldn't help but glance back to see his brother flipping a cup in the air on his bed. He smirked. It was nice to see him not having a care in the world.

The two headed towards the room Jane was staying in. Thor didn't want to take the lead on this. "That's Jane." He motioned to the room. Rocket stepped up. He had a plan for them to agree on. Thor didn't want to be involved in the plan. He wanted to drink away the depression. Being here in Asgard, everyone was happy, alive, nothing was destroyed, it started to make him suffocate as he knew what was going to befall everyone and he could not stop it. Rocket tried to stop him.

There was a sound, a door opening. Frigga was instructing the ladies around her on trying to comfort Loki in his prison. It was going to be years before Loki was going to be released. Thor could over hear her.

"Send Loki some soup," Frigga instructed. "I don't think he's eating. And ask for our librarians to pull some volumes from the astronomy shelves. He won't read them, but at least they'll keep him company." It was the least she could do for her son.

Thor watched as she walked on by. He could try to not look at his brother, but his mother. She was alive and well. Caring and doting as a mother should be.

"Who's the fancy broad?" Rocket watched the two of them.

"My mother," Thor explained. "She dies today."

Thor started to panic. Remembering his mother's death triggered him to relive those terrible moments as well as the moments when he couldn't save Asgard. Rocket slapped him across the face to give him a realistic pep talk, bringing him back to the current moment. They couldn't save everyone but they were going to save those who needed to be saved.

The pep talk helped Thor. He could do it. He could save those who were snapped away. He could do this. Rocket was ready for the plan but as he took his eyes off of Thor, he vanished.

"Thor?" Rocket looked around. He held onto his temples as nothing was going right. "I can kill him, and say the elves did it." He shrugged. "Ah, this is going to be a while." Rocket sat down on the marble. He needed to think of a new plan.

Thor wanted to see more of his mother. When he would be depressed, he would go to her for comfort, as a son would. He also saw Iwaldi and Freya heartbroken and angry. He wanted to know what happened to Sigyn but that was an afterthought. He caught up to his mother, trying to stay hidden. He peeked around to see her but she had vanished. Where did she go? He turned around to see that she was right in front of him. This also scared her.

"What are you doing?" She questioned him.

"Mother!" Thor blurted out. He tried to regain his composure. "What? Nothing. Hello."

"You're better off leaving the sneaking to your brother," she pointed at him. His choice in wardrobe was different than usual. "What are you wearing?"

"Oh, just going for a walk," he tried to play it off. Frigga knew that he was different than usual. She started to come closer. "I always wear this. Its one of my favorites."

"And what's wrong with your eye?" Frigga had many questions for him. He looked like he had been through Hell. Thor tried to turn away. Frigga cupped his cheek to keep his head in place.

"Oh, that," Thor made up an excuse. "You remember the-Battle of Harokin. I took-a broadsword to the face!"

Frigga wondered about this Thor. Thor was not much of smooth talker like Loki. Thor's bluff was easily called out. When Frigga placed her hands upon him, she could feel how different he was from the Thor she had spoken with. She could also see it in his eyes. Not only the fake eye, but his real eye. She could see the guilt, the pain, the suffering, and the longing he had. This Thor had gone through so much. She kept her voice soft and gentle, along with touching him, trying to soothe him.

"You're not the Thor I know at all, are you?" Frigga was curious about this Thor. This Thor that seemed almost damaged where he would break if something happened.

Thor couldn't let her know. "Yes, I am."

Frigga cut him off. "I was raised by witches, boy. I see with more than eyes, you know that." She comforted him while petting his hair. She could sense how fragile he had become. "I can see the future hasn't been kind to you, has it?"

Thor knew he was in trouble now. She wasn't supposed to know that he was from the future. It could mess up the timeline. "I didn't say I was from the future."

"Thor," Frigga knew his resolve was breaking.

"I'm totally from the future," Thor couldn't lie to his mother. Not now when she was there comfort him.

"Yes, you are," Frigga agreed.

"I need to talk to you," Thor wanted to cry. His voice had been cracking.

Frigga pulled him into a hug, clutching him closely. "We can talk." The two hugged for a long moment before she pulled away to walk him to a private room. "What do you want to talk about? Everything?" She was holding onto his arm as if he was escorting her, but she was holding on so he could not runaway.

"I don't think I have enough time to speak about everything," Thor wiped a few tears away.

"Then why don't you start with what is hurting you the most," Frigga guided him. The two entered the room that was just down the hall from where Jane was staying. Rocket had snuck into Jane's room and was going to try it by himself.

Thor sat down while Frigga was standing by him. "So much has happened, I don't know where to begin."

"What about the last battle you had?" Frigga had him start with the most recent battle.

"It was against this Titan who had begun to destroy worlds," Thor was jumbling for a quick summary. Frigga wanted to know more about that but was waiting for Thor to finish. "My hammer had been destroyed. I failed Asgard. I was picked up by these Guardians of the Galaxy and headed to make Stormbreaker. That was made. I head back to Midgard where the Titan was rampaging about. I fought against him again. It was like any other battle. I got through so many obstacles, what's a few more, besides that I had Asgardians to avenge. I failed. He performed the snap. Half of everyone in the universe, gone. He also disappeared. We gathered back everyone again. Tried to find him. We did. I was wanting to kill him and fix everything." Thor smirked. "He…he had already destroyed the stones. In a rage, I didn't hold back as the held onto him and then it was done. His head over there. Body over there. And me in the middle. Just an idiot with an axe."

Frigga listened to all what he had to say. "You're no idiot. You're here, aren't you? Seeking counsel from the smartest person in Asgard?"

"Yeah, I guess," Thor agreed.

"An idiot, no," Frigga started. "A failure, absolutely." She sat down next to him.

"That's a little harsh," Thor thought he was going to be comforted.

"Quite a colossal one," she continued. "By the sound of it."

"Okay," Thor was now becoming displeased. "Maybe just stop talking." He has berated himself enough, he didn't want to hear it from his mother.

"And you know that makes you? Just like everyone else," Frigga informed him.

"I'm not supposed to be like everyone else, though," Thor was going back on how different he was from all the other Asgardians, his powers, his strength. Everything about him.

"Everyone fails at 'who they're supposed to be,'" Frigga explained. "Thor. The measure of a person, of a hero, is how well they succeed at being who they are." Her words hit him in the very core. He didn't know he needed to hear those words so much until now.

"I really missed you, mum," he tried to keep his emotions in check. She hugged onto him. It was another long moment before she needed to bring him back to where he was before. They walked in silence. The two turned to one another. Rocket had just gotten the Aether and was scrambling back. Thor wanted to tell his mother about what was about to happen to her. She stopped him. She knew her fate. The Norns spoke of her death. She didn't know how she would die, but she knew she would. It was not something she would go against. If that is her fate, so it must be.

Rocket scurried over to them, stating he had the device. He greeted Frigga. Thor wished he had more time with her. Frigga told him it that this was a gift. She wished for him to cherish it and to give into moderation on his eating habits. Rocket and him activate their suits to head off. Thor thought of something as Rocket was about to push the button.

Thor needed to know. He held out his hand. Frigga smiled at him. Rocket was confused on what was happening. Frigga explained that it only needed a few seconds. This was the moment for Thor. He needed to know this truth. Mjolnir soared through the air to be held in his hand. She was relieved that her son was still the same down to his core. She was proud of him.

"Still worthy," Thor was relieved. It had weighed heavy on him and the weight seemed to pile on from one event to the other. Thor said his goodbye to his mother one last time. Frigga said goodbye to him. Rocket and him disappear.

Frigga stared at the space they were at. She hoped that he could create a better future for himself. A Dark Elf vessel decloaked in the sky. Frigga grabbed a sword, readying herself for the oncoming battle.

At the oasis, Sigyn was tucking the two girls in for a nap when she felt her body pulse. It was the beginning of being called to escort a soul to Valhalla but the pulse stopped. Sigyn paused. It was a peculiar feeling. Most of the time she would feel that was when the person would be brought back to life in an instant. Sigyn headed off to the meadow. The girls would be fine since they had just fell asleep. She looked up at the stars, wondering what soul had been saved.

The soul that had been worthy to be able to join Valhalla wasn't returned to the body. It was locked away forever in the Soul Stone. Natasha had just sacrificed herself to get the Soul Stone. Her soul wakened in amber lit world. Natasha glanced around before looking down at herself. She looked back up to see a green woman with a gentle some on her face.

"Welcome to the Soul World," Gamora greeted with a comforting smile. "I'm Gamora."

"Hel-lo," Natasha half smiled, she didn't think she was going to meet anyone. "I'm Natasha. I have heard about you from Rocket and Nebula, you're a Guardian."

Gamora's lips twitched. "I see. You are here, that must mean that you are trying to undo what he has done."

"Yes," Natasha nodded. "We are and we will. Once we set our minds to it, nothing is impossible. As a good friend of mine once said, 'if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it.'"

The Avengers all came back from their time heist. Clint had to explain why Natasha was no longer with him. It was a struggle for all of them. They gave her the best funeral they could as her family was them. It was hard for Banner since both him and his Hulk side were grieving on the inside.

It took them a day before they could continue on with their plan. They also didn't want her sacrifice to mean nothing. The group bickered about who was going to snap the gauntlet. It ended up being Banner since he had merged himself with Hulk. Tony made sure before it was going to happen that he would protect the outside world if something went wrong. The building shut itself in case of an explosion.

Banner performed the snap, bringing everyone who was gone from the snap to be here, now. Banner succeeded but not without repercussions. His arm deteriorated due to the immense power.

The snap rippled across the universe. What was once down has now been undone. Banner had wished for a safe return for everyone. Though another war had just started within the Avengers compound.

On Titan, Dr. Strange reappeared with Peter Quill, Peter Parker, Drax, and Mantis.

"It's been five years," Stephen spoke out loud. He moved away to open up portals to different realms with his sling ring.

"What just happened?" Peter Parker was touching himself. He felt a bit nauseous and if he just woke up from a long nap. "What's going on?" He wasn't the only one asking that question. "Five years? Five years had passed?"

"It's time," Stephen duplicated himself to head off through portals. "We have been brought back, however thankful we are, Thanos has been brought back as well. We need every able fighter to fight against Thanos. We need to keep ourselves here and the only way to do that is to fight. I will coordinate our attack so that start preparing." The multiples of him vanished and he closed the portals. "Alright, let's get going."

"We are fighting Thanos again," Drax clenched his fist. "I am ready!" The others nodded.

Stephen got them off of the planet Titan and arrived to a closer place to coordinate the attack.

On New Asgard, the Asgardians had just watched Stephen's speech. Val turned to the people. "You heard him. All of those willing to fight, come with me. The rest, stay here and protect New Asgard. The Destroyer will be here to help protect you." She headed over to change into her battle armor and command the Destroyer.

Sorcerers of the Mystic Arts arrived in the same portal as Dr. Stephen Strange had. Each one was coordinating with Stephen when the groups were ready to fight.

At the oasis, Sigyn was washing dishes while the girls were playing in their room. The horses reappeared next to the waterfall. The two groups whinnied at one another. There was even snorting. She looked out the window to see the horses running, grouping up together. It struck her when she noticed it was her horses that had disappeared.

Sigyn dropped the dishes in the water. She dried her hands on her clothes as she hurried away to her chamber, opening the door in rush. She looked on the ground. There was nothing. She jerked her head to the right, in the crib was Nari opening his eyes staring at her. She let out a choke. She glided over to him in a few steps. Tears streaming down her eyes. "My son," she cooed. She grabbed his little hand. He looked like he had just woken up from a nap.

Vali stood up, grabbing onto the crib. "MA!" He cried out. Sigyn jerked her head over to see him.

"Vali!" Sigyn glided over to him. She picked him up in her arms. He clutched onto her. Tears streaming down her eyes. Sigyn had to sit down on her bed.

Einmyria and Eisa had heard their mother run back to her room. They snuck out to see what she was doing. Einmyria peered in the doorway. She saw her mother crying while holding a child. Einmyria looked down to Eisa who was next to her. Eisa looked to Einmyria. The two looked back to their mother.

"Come, come meet your brothers," Sigyn beckoned through tears. Her voice cracking as she wanted to sob. Her children were together. Einmyria and Eisa came over to her. They tried to peek around to see Vali. "This is your older brother, Vali. Can you say hello to your two sisters?" Vali turned his head to see the two. Einmyria waved while Eisa just stared. "Over there is your second oldest brother, Nari." Sigyn motioned with her head. Einmyria turned to look over to the crib.

She walked over to him. Einmyria stood on her toes to see the baby. "He's a baby. They're both babies." Einmyria turned back around.

Sigyn let out a chuckle mixed in with a sob. "Yes." She wiped half of her face. "They are your older, younger brothers." Einmyria made a face. She was confused. "Right now, you get to be the older sister for them, you and Eisa. When they're older, I bet you they will be protective of you just the same, and they will argue with you on how you are the younger siblings."

Eisa was getting jealous. She crawled up to sit next to her mother. She kept staring at Vali who was staring back at her. He was still shy. Einmyria came back over. She hugged her mother and two of her siblings. Sigyn tried to hug the three as best she could. Nari was smiling.

When Sigyn finally stopped herself from crying, she set Vali down. Eisa headed over to him. The two seemed to get along well. She brought over some toys for him to play with. It brought on a smile. It was a touching reunion. Sigyn told Einmyria to watch them as she headed over to the kitchen area. Sigyn was glad she kept hope. She had Midgardian bottles and baby formula ready incase this miracle would happen.

On the Commodore floating in space, Loki appeared while laying on the floor. He coughed so hard that black gunk spewed on the floor. He kept coughing until the black gunk was all out of his body. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He pushed himself up. Loki sat himself on the pilot's chair.

"What happened?" Loki reached to push a few buttons. "How long have I been out?"

"The Commodore has been in power save mode, drifting through space for five years," a voice replied.

"Five years!" Loki brought a hand to cover his mouth. His eyebrows scrunched together as he was thinking about what all had happened. Sigyn. His sons. He started to push buttons. "Let's stick to the original plan and go home." The Commodore headed off towards the Nine Realms.

The Avengers with the help of the rest of the beings in the universe, were battling Thanos. Sigyn was could feel her body pulse. She turned to Einmyria who eyed her with curiosity.

"Mother will be right back," Sigyn wished to stay but this pulse was getting stronger. This was one where it pulled everyone to them. "You have to be a big girl, I won't be long, I promise." Sigyn vanished. Einmyria stared wide eye. She glanced down to her siblings.

"I am in charge, for now!" Einmyria crossed her arms. "We will play!" She crouched down with them.

Sigyn was walking through the battlefield of fallen warriors. Valkyries were deeming those worthy for Valhalla. She saw the group huddled around. Sigyn passed through them to see Tony sitting down with the gauntlet on his arm.

"Oh, Tony," Sigyn held back her tears. Pepper was consoling him as he passed away. Sigyn turned to her left. She presented a comforting appearance to him. She changed into her Eternal Valkyrior attire. Tony showed up before her. "Hello, Tony."

"Sigyn," Tony was confused. He looked down at his hand, it no longer hurt. He glanced around to see he was still on the battlefield. He turned back to her. "Well, I wasn't expecting you, an ethereal angel or should I say Valkyrior."

"Who were you expecting?" Sigyn asked, her voice soft and comforting.

"I don't know, maybe a demon, or Satan, oh maybe the Grim Reaper, Death himself, but not Swan Lake," Tony sighed. "It's my time, isn't it?"

"It is," Sigyn kept a calming presence.

"So, do I follow you to Valhalla, how does this work?" Tony was the same even in death.

"You could go to Valhalla, you are worthy, but there is another path, a path of light, ready for you," Sigyn motioned to it. "It will be where everyone else you know, of Midgardian descent, will go. I hear it does have a connection to Valhalla, but I was called to send you off wherever you may decide."

Tony joked. "So, I could go to Hell if I wanted?" Sigyn stayed silent. "Can you tell them one last thing?" He started to tear up.

"Of course," Sigyn nodded.

"Well, I did pull a Loki and did the same thing as him," Tony started to explain. "But let them know I don't regret my choice. I would do it all over again just to save them." It touched Sigyn's heart. "Also, tell them I want flowers, parades, and statues. You know full-tilt diva type of memorial and fame." He started to chuckle. The light started getting brighter. "This is the way, huh?"

"Yes," Sigyn walked with him towards it. She stopped as he hesitated. "You are worthy. You are loved. You deserve this." She knew he was doubting himself. "You are an amazing individual. Do not doubt yourself about what you are allowed to deserve."

"You'll watch over them?" Tony looked over to her one last time. Sigyn nodded. "Since your sons are back, make sure they only date Morgan, not marry. I don't think the universe could deal with grandchildren who are descendants of both Loki and Tony. Tell them I love them." He headed off into the light, both of them disappearing. Sigyn disappeared back to her home. She was only gone for less than a half hour.
