Moments later...
Vance decided to bring Ginny to the park. Considering that she hasn't been out of her house in awhile, it felt only right, so she can get some fresh air. Ginny agreed, and the two were went off to that location.
Walking into the park, Vance and Ginny, who were both wearing dark blue jackets, were looking around the place, seeing the Autumn leaves falling from the trees around here. Some people were just walking around the place, while some were just playing at the playground, or passing a football back and fourth. Some others were just sitting on the benches.
Just by looking at the park made Vance happy to be back in Simport, since looking at this place, reminded him so much of how it was like as a kid. He and his uncle would usually come down here and pass the football around themselves, while Katie was off skateboarding at the skatepark, and Allison was sitting a nearby bench, watching them. For him, those were such good times. Knowing the stuff that he's dealing with now, he wishes that those days were what he was living in right now.
"I just...love being out here, you know?" Vance asked his girlfriend. "The park at Autumn was always my favorite place to go to...don't you think so too, Ginny?" The tomboy with braids crossed her arms, shrugging her shoulders.
"Me and Pablo never really come out here at the park during Autumn..." Ginny said. "...We did different things back when we were kids."
"Really, like what?"
"Well..." Ginny smiled, remembering of such beautiful memories back in the day for her and Pablo. "...Me and Pablo would...always go to the pumpkin patch. I still have the red wagon that I had when we both picked the same exact pumpkin that was among the many, and then we keep it outside on our porch."
Vance shrugged at that being said. "Can't say me or Katie enjoy the pumpkin patch, but we always loved watching horror movies as kids, even if Aunt Allison gets a little too worried that we'd be scared out of our minds." The agent shook his head. "I remember me begging Uncle Vincent to let me watch 'I Know what you Did Last Summer' and...after that, I almost couldn't get any sort of sleep that night because of that."
"Really now?"
"Yeah. First horror movie I have ever seen." Vance looks over to Ginny now. "So...what was your first horror movie that you've ever watched?" Ginny chuckles.
"Well...funny thing about me, back when I was like...eight, it was around October, so the theater one time decided to play some horror movies. The only one for kids was 'Ghostbusters', of course. But I already seen that enough times as a kid." Ginny then stopped at a nearby bench, before sitting down on it. "I decided to go check up on one of the other movies...so I went to go to the bathroom, and then after that, went to see what other movies were playing at the theater that day. The one I ended up picking was 'House of Wax'...it sure scared the hell out of me, I'll tell you that."
"Did you parents realize you were gone?" Vance asked, sitting besides her.
"I actually ran back to them...told them what happened, and..." Ginny frowns. "Then I was grounded for the entire weekend after that..."
"Damn..."
"Yeah...but hey...what can you do, am I right?"
The couple sat there now, as they were silently waiting for something to happen. Nothing really eventful was really happening in this park right now, so they were left to just sit there, and just watch the many people passing them by or just enjoying the Autumn season. Either way, they didn't really do anything else aside from talk to each other.
While they were sitting there, the couple was approached by somebody. Vance and Ginny looked up, seeing that it was some girl with black hair in a ponytail, a green jacket with a black necktie and white t-shirt, as well as baggy dark blue jeans. She appears to be holding a present in her hands.
"Um...hey, you're that Vance guy that all the girls were talking about, right?" The girl asked, an Italian accent is clearly heard while she spoke. Vance blinked a couple times, before looking up at the girl in front of him.
"Yeah, why?" Vance asked. "...Who even are you?"
"I'm just somebody that is friends with the agent Creek, who is friends with my sister, Sasha."
"Oh, right...you're Rhonda. I forgot that...Creek has a girlfriend...yeah..." The Italian woman hands Vance the present. "What's this?"
"It's for the Pinky girl that your cousin is friends with." Rhonda explains to him. "I was informed that the wedding between her and that Tim guy is no longer happening. Just so happens, I actually bought Pinky a present for her, but...now I guess the wedding isn't really happening after all..."
"Oh...this is for Pinky..."
"Yeah, it is." Rhonda places her hands in her pockets, before shaking her head. "Tell Pinky if she invites me to someplace, don't days later say that it won't happen, then it shows me that I wasted my time. I had to take a day off from my work in order to buy her that present."
"I will. Thank you..."
Rhonda walks off, as Vance and Ginny sat there still. Ginny frowns, looking at her boyfriend. "I'm guessing the wedding between Pinky and Tim is still not happening, huh?" Ginny asked.
"Yep...Pinky's stuck in the hospital still, and..." Vance sighed. "I...doubt she and Katie are friends anymore, considering that Katie snapped at her for being too forgiving towards Crystal..."
"But...that doesn't mean that those two can just not have the wedding, right?"
"To them, it's hopeless. Now that Crystal has caused this to happen to them, they are not having the wedding anymore." Vance shook his head, before looking at the present in his hands. "Well...screw it, let's just give this present to Pinky. Hopefully, this will cheer her up despite everything that is currently happening right now...for her, Katie, and...a lot of other friends of ours..." Vance stood up from the bench, before looking behind himself at Ginny. "Want to come with me to the hospital?" The tomboy stood up from the bench as well.
"I...don't know if I really should...I don't know if Pablo is...going to wake up or not, and..." Ginny paused for a moment, before crossing her arms. "...I don't know...I want to come with you, but...I just..."
"If you don't want to come with me, I understand. All I was planning to do was just hand this present to Pinky, then just leave." Vance places the present by his side, turning his attention towards his girlfriend once again. "It's your choice, Ginny."
The girl stood there for a moment, before ultimately, nodding her head. "You know what? I'm coming with you...I'll sit outside the hospital while you're giving that present to Pinky." Vance nods his head.
"Alright." With all that said and done, the two headed out of the park to go off to the hospital.
Meanwhile...
Tim was at the hospital with his girlfriend. It feels like it'll be forever until Pinky is going to be allowed to get out of the hospital, which only made Tim feel even more terrible than he already knows right now. But for the very least, Pinky is going to be healthy once she gets out of this place.
The blue-haired man sat there in one of the chairs near his girlfriend's bed, as Pinky was just staring off at the TV in the distance. The girl was frowning at the sight of the television, not really smiling at anything that was on. Even if the show that she picks ends up suppose to be a show that should make her laugh, she wasn't enjoying it. Pinky could only lay there in silence, as she sighed.
"Still wishing you were out of here, huh, sweetheart?" Tim asked his girlfriend. Pinky nods her head, as she continued to stare at the distance in front of her. Tim reaches out to his girlfriend, placing a hand on the side of the bed. "Believe me, sweetheart, I do too."
"It's not only that, Tim..." Pinky said. "...It's just that...me and Katie...kind of gotten ourselves into an argument yesterday, and...I feel like..." The girl was so close to snapping and being furious at the world at that moment, but couldn't bring herself to scream right now, since she didn't want the doctors to come to the room, hearing her. "...Nevermind...I just don't want to think about Katie right now...my stress is bad enough already...and I just want to calm down after all that I've been through."
"I know...I want you to be better too."
Pinky sighed. "Thank you, Tim..." Pinky then turns her head towards him, a smile showing up on her face. "...I love you, Tim..."
Tim smiles back at Pinky. "I love you too, Pinky."
The two of them sat there silently, as they held each others hand. But the moment was then ruined by the sound of the door opening nearby. The two turned their attention towards the door, seeing Vance entering the room, holding the present he was given.
"Vance?" Tim asked. "What are you doing here?" The male agent held up the present.
"Rhonda gave me this back at the park." Vance said. "She told me to give it to you guys when I see you again, now that the wedding is off."
"Rhonda? We never invited her."
"Eh, she felt like buying this for you, just because she wanted to." Vance walks over to the table on the side of Pinky's hospital bed, placing the present down onto it. "Since the wedding is off, I feel it's only right to give you guys this...despite...you probably don't want to be reminded of that right now...so..." He shrugged his shoulders, before backing up from the table. "Sorry..."
Pinky picks up the present, looking at it for a few seconds. She looks over to Vance, who was just about to head over to the door to leave the room. "Thank you, Vance..." Pinky said, quietly.
"Your welcome..."
"Um...you're that Vance guy who came in here yesterday, along with that girl with the braids, right?" A doctor asked, finally taking notice of the agent being here.
Vance turns his head towards the person who was standing outside of the hospital room. "Uh...yeah, why do you ask?" The doctor held up a clipboard, pointing at the paper on top of it.
"We have been trying to think make sure that Pablo's injuries were treated, as well as making sure that he is still alive." The doctor explains to him, before stepping aside to allow some room for Vance to walk through the door. "If you mind following me to the front desk, I can explain a little more about it, and we can allow Pinky to relax."
"Oh, alright." Vance looks over to Pinky, before waving 'Goodbye' to her. "I'll...see you around, Pinky."
"See you, Vance...oh, before you go..." Vance looks over to the girl with blue hair, wondering what she wants. She frowned, before speaking. "...If you see Katie, can you please tell her that...we should talk and...tell her that I'm sorry for...ignoring her lately...our argument really hurt my feelings, and...I feel I owe her an apology for...some things recently..." Vance nods his head.
"I will when I see her, Pinky." Pinky gave him a light smile.
"Thank you, Vance." The agent walked out of the room. leaving Tim and Pinky by themselves once again.
