"I thought I told you to not try starting a war or to leave bruising!" Tsunade snapped at Kiya as soon as Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura left the building to go rest.
"You said no visible bruising and not to aim for the face. It probably would have been worse if I hadn't stopped Kakashi," Kiya shrugged from her place on the ground, playing with Amatsu as he wiggled around. "Let's be honest, Tsunade, you would have done the same thing if someone barged in on you in a towel kissing your boyfriend and get turned on by it."
"That's not the point!"
"It is the point. I'm not going to be lenient just because he thinks he's better than me because of status. That's how people start thinking they can get away with things."
"Kiya," Tsunade growled and she glanced up to see the Hokage's face beet red with anger.
"If you're going to punish me, then punish me, but I did nothing wrong," Kiya spoke simply as she stood before grabbing Amatsu and walked out.
"Kakashi…"
"She stopped me from choking the life out of him," he shrugged, his hands in his pockets. "He had always knocked before. He knew exactly what he was doing when he barged into the room. He was acting like a jealous ex boyfriend."
"And why was she in a towel?"
"She wanted to clean up and forgot to grab her clothing scroll."
"And she couldn't use a different bathroom..?"
"She still probably would have forgotten her scroll then have to parade the Kazekage manor in a towel because she reported to me first. Besides she had snuck in the back door because she didn't want to deal with the Kazekage's siblings who were arguing. Either way you look at it, Tsunade, neither of us are sorry for our actions in that situation."
"Get out of my office. I want an official report concerning your relationship for records, but I don't want to hear about it again. If another incident like this happens, she will not be assigned to your team again," Tsunade threatened and he simply nodded his head before leaving to go find Kiya.
He summoned Pakkun as he left the Hokage tower and the put told him where Luna had appeared when she gone to feed Amatsu and headed towards his clan property. He stepped over the broken wall and headed towards the natural hot spring where he thought she would be but didn't see her. Frowning, he headed towards the compound building even though he was reluctant to.
Finding the stone path, he felt his heart pound as he saw the building in the distance surrounded by the overgrown yard and trees. Since he hadn't been near the compound since his father died and no one came to take care of maintaining the yard, it had grown extensively. As he entered the courtyard, he noticed a pile of weeds that had been recently pulled, revealing a section of bushes cleaned up.
"Kiya?" He called out and saw her head appear a few feet away from behind a large bush. "What are you doing?"
"Oh… hi," she smiled as she got to her feet and he noticed dirt on her hands and elbows. "Sorry, I was walking the grounds and noticed how overgrown the gardens were… should I not have?"
"You're fine," he spoke as he looked around at the building that still stood tall.
Vines had grown up sections stones of the compound reaching the roof, making the building look different than he remembered. Kiya walked over and touched his arm and he looked at her, noticing that the sling carrying Amatsu was slung over her shoulder. Her hands came up to his face and he noticed that she had cleaned them of the dirt and pulled his mask down before cupping his face.
"How long as it been since you've come over to the compound?" She whispered, her voice sad.
"Since father's death," he replied honestly.
"Oh…"
"As long as you're here, I'm okay," he smiled softly as he pressed a kiss to her brow before wrapping his arms around her.
"How mad is Tsunade?" Kiya mumbled against his chest.
"If she hears of another incident like what happened this time with Gaara, she's threatening to not assign you to team seven again for missions," he shrugged.
"As long as I don't have to go back to Sunagakure, there won't be any," she mused and he chuckled as he pulled back to look at her as he heard Amatsu start howling from inside his sling. She chuckled as she stepped back and pulled the lab out of the bag and placed him on the grass so he could wiggle around.
"He's strong," Kakashi commented as he moved to lay on the grass.
"Yeah," Kiya chuckled and he watched as she moved back to kneel by the flower bed and started weeding it and trimming back the plants that had survived all these years as she worked.
"Why are you weeding?"
"Because I want to see how beautiful this place truly is and it's relaxing to get my hands dirty this way."
They stayed there for hours, only being interrupted when Luna appeared to feed Amatsu. Kakashi had rolled onto his side, playing with Amatsu to keep him entertained as Kiya worked. He silently enjoyed watching her as she pulled weeds and trimmed the plants back. His eyes followed her curves, attentive to each detail as she moved and felt his heart start to beat faster. He heard her start humming as she worked, making him want to groan. He rolled so he was laying on his stomach, hiding what would be a very prominent arousal in any other position. Kiya glanced back at him and gave him an innocent smile, oblivious to how much she affected him.
"You okay, Kakashi? Your face is red. You're not getting a sunburn, are you?" She frowned as she studied him and turned around and crawled towards him.
"I'm okay, Kiya," he smiled, cursing himself for not being able to control himself as he felt a pain in his groin as his muscles twitched from watching her crawl his way. He hadn't realized her shirt had been a low cut so he could see the outline of her crimson bra. "If I am, it will just tan."
"Hn," she shrugged as she moved so she was laying beside him, her head resting on his upper back and they watched as Amatsu crawled onto her stomach and crawled up her chest until he was curled up against her neck. "So how long you gonna hide the fact that you were watching me and got turned on?"
"Wha…? I don't know what your talking about…" he mumbled, feeling his face got hot.
"Mhm," he heard the amusement in her voice and glanced at her as she watched the sky with a grin.
"You forget that I'm a med-nin, Kashi. I read all the signs from your body language. That and I've seen you lay flat on your stomach before so it was pretty obvious," she snorted.
"You are a very beautiful woman. I got so caught up in watching you, I'm sorry," Kakashi sighed quietly.
"I'll take that as a compliment," she mused as she turned her head and kissed his shoulder before getting to her feet. "I need to clean up. I'll see you later after you've taken care of your problem."
"Come by my apartment when your done, I'll make dinner," Kakashi spoke as he propped himself up on his elbows to watch her as she grabbed her sling before grabbing Amatsu.
"Okay," she smiled before running her hand through his hair before walking off.
"Fuck," Kakashi groaned as he let his head fall back to the grass after she disappeared from view.
