Octavia pov:

Monty's radio signal went dead just now. Raven, Bellamy, and I sprint through the woods looking for Robby, Finn, Myles, and Clarke. I don't know what I'd do with myself if the worst were to happen. I've been worried all day because they didn't come back. Bellamy must see that I'm afraid.

"We'll find him O," Bellamy says trying to reassure me.

I nod, but I'm not convinced. We hear moaning a short distance away and see a figure lying in the brush.

"Myles?" I say as he lies there wincing in pain at the arrows that are protruding from him.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Clarke, Finn, and Robby, where are they?" Raven asks shaking Myles by the collar.

"Take it easy," Bellamy says to Raven.

I like Raven, but she can be real bitchy sometimes.

"Grounders took them," Myles says weakly.

"We have to get him back to camp," Bellamy says.

"Bell, what about Clarke, Finn, and Robby?" I ask in worriedly.

I look back in fourth at Bell and Raven. Raven gets up and looks like she is about to cry. I want to cry also, but I feel terrible for Raven. I love Robby, but he and Finn were her entire family so I need to be strong for her.

"Raven I'm sorry," Bell says sincerely.

Raven looks just about ready to break down, but her face goes stone cold.

"We need to make a stretcher," she says emotionlessly.

Bellamy starts trying to get ahold of Monty, but fails. No, not him to. I can't take that today. Bellamy keeps calling for Monty on the radio, but all we hear is static. We give up and carry Myles back to camp.

"Where are you guys?" I ask myself after we make it back.

Robby pov

The guards toss us on a horse with one guy in a mask on it. We start riding off. I hold on to Finn's side to not fall off and we sit in silence as the horse takes us to our execution sight. I take one last look at the mountains and trees. For what it's worth, earth really is beautiful. I'm glad I got to die here instead of the airlock. I take a look at the guard's belt and see my sword. That's the same son of a bitch from earlier. He's gonna steal my sword and kill me with it. Irony really sucks ass. Some guy in a mask runs out of the trees and motions for the guy in the horse to stop.

"What do you want? I have a job to do?" The guard asks angrily in trig.

"Anya asked me to take over, your needed back at the creek," the man with a very familiar voice responds in trig.

"What's he saying?" Finn whispers to me.

"Apparently, this guy wants to kill us instead," I answer.

My trig isn't perfect, but Lincoln did teach me a lot. Suddenly, I come to a realization about the mysterious man. It all clicks as the man grabs my sword off the guard's belt and stabs him with it. The man pulls off his mask and I see the face of Lincoln.

"Lincoln!" I say happily.

"We don't have much time," he says and cuts Finn and I's ropes. He takes us all the way to a cliff side.

"Quick build a pyre out of wood and light a fire," Lincoln instructs us.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"Back for your friend," he says.

"Thank you," Finn says.

Lincoln nods and get back on the horse. He rides into the distance.

"Alright lets get to work," I say.

We build a tall structure out of logs we find and the ones in the pile Lincoln had for us. It takes a while, but it looks good. Throughout the building process, Finn and I have a long overdue conversation about Raven and Clarke.

"So yeah, Raven broke it off," he says in shame.

"I heard," I say.

"I think it's good for both of y'all," I say.

He sighs and says "Yeah, I still feel bad. I cheated on her man. She's our best friend and I acted like a complete ass. You were right about me. It sucks because I knew I loved Clarke and I just didn't know what to do when Raven came down. I was scared," Finn says.

"If I were in your situation, I wouldn't really know what to do either. Plus, I've made plenty of mistakes with girls in the past," I say.

"McIntyre?" Finn asks.

I nod solemnly.

"Gotta admit. You completely blew it," he says sympathetically.

"God I was such a dick back then," I say with shame.

"What did y'all even do? I just saw y'all making out in the corner at the party, that's it. I saw y'all chatting for the next few weeks, but nothin else really. You never told me," Finn says.

"I met her at the party and we talked for a while. She said she liked my eyes. Then we made out. It wasn't just any girl though, I actually was able to be myself around her. We went on a few dates to the sky bridge and walks around the Alpha station," I say.

"How'd it all go to shit?" He asks

Before I forget, I light the fire and it burns brightly. I wonder what it's for, but I trust Lincoln.

"Well we were at her place. Her parents were out so it was just us. We watched a movie. Some chick flick. We were to busy playing tonsil hockey to pay any attention. The she tried to take it further. It's not that I didn't want to. It's just that, I wasn't really ready, I don't know. She just wasn't the person who I wanted to cash my V card with. So I rejected it. She got defensive and felt bad about it. I was scared and insecure so I broke it off. She only tried to apologize," I say shaking my head.

"That doesn't sound so horrible," Finn says.

"That's not the worst part. I told her that I was into someone else and was using her to make her jealous. I lied my ass off because I was too much of a pussy to admit that I simply just wasn't ready," I say looking down in shame.

"Did you love her?" Finn asks.

I think for a while because I didn't really know the answer. The truth was, no I didn't.

"No," I answer truthfully.

"She wasn't the one. I had this... feeling that there was someone else out there," I say putting emphasis on the word feeling.

"Don't get me wrong, Harper was great, but she wasn't the one," I follow up.

"Well then you found Octavia, the person who no one knew existed," Finn says smiling at me.

"Yeah," I whisper slowly with a smile as I think about her smile and green eyes.

"I've never seen that look before," Finn says jokingly.

I shrug and smile.

"Octavia is the one, isn't she?" Finn asks knowing the answer.

"I'm almost certain. I don't know how, something just clicked when I met her. Then when we kissed for the first time, everything felt right. For the first time, it was real. I mean Harper was also, but it just wasn't the same. Harper was the person who I didn't have to play bully around just to feel good. Octavia understands why I was the way I was and motivated me to be better. Down here, I've been being nothing, but the real me and I can say, it feels amazing," I say.

"Same here man. I really feel free. I love Raven, but not like I love Clarke. Raven was kinda the same thing with Harper, except it lasted longer then two months and we took it to home plate, quite often," Finn says smirking.

"Dude, too much information," I say chuckling.

"Also Raven is our best friend," I say.

"But still Im positive that I'm truly in love with Clarke, but it kinda scares me because in my life, it's always been Raven and she deserves the world. I didn't want to hurt her, but I did anyway," Finn says slumping his shoulders.

"Just follow your heart and Clarke will realize how much of a cool dude you really are," I say putting my hand on his shoulder.

We stare at the fire for a while until we hear a pair of hooves and a horse neighing. Once we hear two sets of feet hit the ground we walk around the fire and reveal ourselves.
