Everything was silent. Everyone was still. Everyone looked right ahead, surrounding the two – Draco and Voldemort.

The death eaters and the army of Voldemort couldn't believe seeing their master at the mercy of Draco whose very appearance and the fact that he was still alive had shocked everyone including most of the aurors who didn't know about it.

Harry, Neville and Luna joined everyone outside with Luna completely exhausted and unconscious from her fight with Bella. She'd fought Bella and had defeated her. The right-hand woman of Voldemort was lying unconscious with magical binds inside the manor.

Sirius couldn't believe his eyes as he saw Draco stand tall over Voldemort who lay on the floor badly beaten and bleeding. After Voldemort became completely mortal Draco had unarmed himself before going at him with nothing but bare fists and kicks and the frail, now degrading body of Voldemort couldn't take much of it as he bled and formed deep gashes with each punch and kick from Draco.

All those years of defying death…keeping his body and his soul afloat in the living world using his horcruxes…it was all falling apart once those horcruxes were gone as the place filled with the stench of rot which came from Voldemort's body as he slowly felt himself dying.

There was no coming back from it. No one…nothing could save him now and he knew that as he saw Draco looking down at him with an expressionless face while Selandra looked through Draco's eyes at Voldemort whose vision blurred with each second as breathing became difficult for him.

"It's time," Draco said as he looked at Voldemort for one last time, "that you lose."

And with that Voldemort's body disintegrated completely, his skin and muscles melting like rotten flesh as the aurors, Neville, Sirius and Harry used their combined powers along with Selandra whom Draco had released from his body to help others take down the remaining followers of Voldemort. Finally, a few hours of struggle later the nightmare was over as the aurors all rejoiced, their confidence at new heights seeing the actual defeat of Voldemort as it gave them vigor and newfound power to subdue the remaining of Voldemort's followers.

"It's done." Kingsley looked up from the book he was reading to the man who came into his room. "He's dead – Voldemort."

The book fell from Kingsley's hands as he stood up and began to cry. The relief he felt from hearing those words…how many souls innocent and willing who were lost when facing that threat…he was gone. Finally, he was gone.

"If you want you can go and see them…although you know the rule," said the man.

"As much as I would like to," Kingsley said, "I am needed here."

The man smiled before nodding and leaving the auror who stood there in his room looking at the fallen book which he then picked up and dusted off. A smile came upon his face as he looked outside the window. "I'll join you guys soon," he said. "I just have to find our old friend first. He needs help."

The news spread faster than anything anyone had ever seen when Draco and the aurors who'd all participated in the raid of the Riddle Manor arrived at the main spot of the Diagon Alley and dropped Voldemort's body in the center of the streets.

People were stunned, shocked, scared, confused, emotional and happy at the same time as cries erupted in the alley. Finally the threat was gone and they could all resume their lives.

They looked from Voldemort's disintegrated body over to Draco who was supposed to be dead but wasn't. And he was the one who killed Voldemort? People were having all sorts of reactions and thoughts to what they were seeing as soon some reporters and photographers arrived, using the floo network of the nearby shops and through apparitions as they clicked pictures of Voldemort, Draco and the aurors, asking them questions about the raid and everything.

Draco chose to say nothing as he apparated away from the spot quite soon after the reporters arrived leaving behind the aurors to deal with the rest. A few days later it was a confirmed news that Voldemort was gone…for good.

The ministry building was taken back after that and quite quickly too, as Voldemort's followers lost all will and confidence after their master's death. Investigations were conducted for new criminals and the old ones were re-opened seeing how the aurors caught some familiar faces who'd once said that they'd been under the imperius the last time Voldemort had come to power.

As per Scrimgeour's will and final duty before being killed in line of work he'd opted for Kingsley to take his place as minister of magic until a new one could be elected but seeing that the man himself was missing it became difficult to choose who should be the new minister. Some people suggested Dumbledore's name but it wasn't agreed for two reasons – the first was that Dumbledore had been offered the minister's post many times in the past but he'd not agreed to it and the second reason was people felt betrayed and angry that he hadn't done anything to the Voldemort problem this time thanks to Sirius' interview to the many, many media and news outlets of Magical Britain.

Dumbledore's reputation had taken a dive after Sirius told everyone how Dumbledore's methods against Voldemort were never affective nor was he an effective leader. The people couldn't help but be shocked and worried that they'd sent their children under the care of someone like that especially after Voldemort's return was confirmed. To think that Dumbledore was not someone they'd known him to be all these years was truly shocking.

This news didn't take much time to reach the ICW as its members drew a quick vote to dissolve Dumbledore's position as the Supreme Mugwump, thereby kicking him out of the council. The same was followed by the Education Board of Magical Britain after the ministry was somewhat brought to function as Dumbledore was removed from the post of Hogwarts' headmaster with that post being given to McGonagall.

Eventually the ministry was formed to function properly and until the new minister could be elected a small committee was formed that would do the final governance which comprised of all the remaining members of the Wizengamot and while it seemed that it was too big of a committee it wasn't as more than half of the members of Wizengamot were removed seeing their involvement with Voldemort and his work. That left the body with only a handful of members who all decided to put the new minister's election on hold for the time being until everything was brought back on track and until then they would govern the nation together.

New recruitment for aurors was initiated to compensate for the loss the DMLE had taken during the last few months and so much for Sirius' surprise and shock his first cousin Nymphadora Tonks enrolled as a trainee. The two had a rather dramatic conversation about it which Harry enjoyed to the full before he was introduced to her by Sirius. At first impression he liked her a lot. She was carefree, reckless and had a good sense of humor.

He also came to know that she was a metamorphmagus, an ability to change her form into other things. He was honestly surprised and awed when she changed her entire face to that of a duck when they first met. He also realized that he'd seen her before and when asked she told him that she was in her seventh year when Harry began going to Hogwarts as a first year.

Seeing everything that had happened Hogwarts was declared closed until opened for a new term. Except for the students who were to give their OWL and NEWT exams all were given a passing grade to be promoted to the next years while the NEWT and OWL students were called to give their respective exams a month later.

Things began to normalize as everyone began to go back to their normal lives as the governing body of the ministry – thanks to Augusta, Susan, Sirius and Draco's push – released an arrest warrant for Dumbledore, making him a fugitive. The grounds of doing that were many including spying on the last living member of an ancient and noble house – Harry, who presented the Wizengamot with all the spying devices that Dumbledore had placed inside his quarters to keep an eye on him. Also, theories about Dumbledore's involvement in Voldemort coming to power were discussed, linking him to actually be somewhat responsible for Voldemort becoming a dark lord. It was decided that the remaining questions regarding all of that will be asked once Dumbledore was caught and questioned under the veritaserum which was the only thing that the Wizengamot used before questioning any and every one and thus, a lot of death eaters were caught and put behind bars.

Their number was so high that a new prison was made to accommodate them. This time, however, the ministry didn't place any dementors in or around the new prison and whatever they had remaining at Azkaban were removed as well.

A search party was formed to look for Kingsley who had been missing since the day the ministry was attacked by Voldemort.

Snape returned to Hogwarts, replacing Slughorn as the head of Slytherin house. He took the post for teaching DADA as Slughorn was kept to teach potions as he was doing so much better teaching that subject.

Draco decided not to return to Hogwarts but instead travel around and find more about the divine beasts and look for Grindelwald in the process. He and Harry had a long talk about that. Harry understood that with everything that had happened in Draco's life he would want to stay away from others for some time.

It was at this time Harry also found out about Draco and Hermione when he saw them hug and share a small kiss before Draco's departure. He didn't know when or how it had happened but it had and he was happy for his friends. Hermione blushed hard when she saw Harry looking at her with raised eyebrows.

Fenrir ran through the forest, huffing and panting as blood dripped from the side of his head. He had lots of wounds on his body, many of which resembled the bites and claw-scratches of a wolf. He looked back while running in his werewolf form. Because he was an alpha he didn't require the full moon to transform and so in this form maybe he hoped he could get away from them.

Damn that Grindelwald, he thought as he ran for his life. He hadn't come to help him. Just what was his plan if he didn't want him at the end? Suddenly his nose picked up something and he stopped. He looked around; his werewolf senses at their peak smelling and sensing even the slightest amount of smell or density in the air. He was so well adapt at this that he could even sense someone's movements just by sensing the air. That and his hearing also helped as he felt them closing in.

He was surrounded as the next moment he realized they zeroed in on him from all sides. Maybe this was it. He turned back to his human form, his wounds becoming worse in this form as he panted and grunted in pain and exhaustion when the footsteps stopped and he looked up.

He stood straight, like a man who knew his time had come as he saw the hooded man, Kingsley, Lupin and another person whom he didn't recognize approach him from four sides. Lupin was in his werewolf form who also changed back once Fenrir was surrounded as he stopped on Fenrir's left.

The werewolf alpha looked at him before chuckling. "I never thought you would go this far…," he said.

"I am what I am because of you," Lupin said. "You crossed all lines by making me attack the people I care about. Besides, being a saint all the time never does any good. With what you and Grindelwald have planned…you both need to be stopped."

Fenrir smiled as he closed his eyes before looking at the hooded man. "And who are you?" he asked.

"No one you should be worried about," said the man in the hood.

"Don't you think I should at least know the face of the man who's been hunting me for all these months?" Fenrir asked before looking at Kingsley. "They think you're dead," he said. Kingsley didn't say anything as Fenrir looked at the fourth guy. "And your sense of fashion is weird," Fenrir said looking at the blanket/cloak made from grasses and leaves that the guy wore on his back. He simply smiled as he looked back at Fenrir who then once again turned to face the hooded guy. "So, can't you grant a dying man his final wish?"

The air rushed through the leaves, making the dead ones fall on the ground as silence filled the forest. The man reached for his hood, slowly removing it to reveal his face to a shocked Fenrir who couldn't make words out of his mouth as he looked at those familiar eyes as Lupin walked behind him with a small knife in his hand before he slit the alpha's throat.

The ground turned red from Fenrir's blood as his eyes never stopped looking at that face even in his death. The man wearing the grassy cloak waved his hand as the ground beneath Fenrir split open, forming a deep grave as Fenrir's body fell inside it before the ground moved back to its original place, now a forever grave for the world's strongest werewolf alpha.

Kingsley looked at Lupin whose hands were shaking. "Will you be okay?" he asked looking at his friend.

Lupin looked at him before nodding slowly. He then looked at the hooded man who had his hood removed. "What now?" he asked.

"We wait," said the man as he put back his hood to hide his identity.

"How long?" asked Kingsley.

The man wearing the bushy cloak smiled as he looked at the hooded man. "We'll know," he said.

Harry opened his eyes, exhaling deeply as he looked around. He was in the basement back at Potter Manor practicing his occlumency. He'd once again experienced failure trying to approach the Yayu's memories but unlike last times he didn't get frustrated about it. He looked at the time. It was one in the night. He stood up and brought down the time-warp wards. He'd been practicing occlumency for over eight hours after everyone had gone to sleep.

He exited the basement, walking towards his room as he walked past Sirius' room. He saw the door was slightly open so he peeked inside. The man was in deep sleep, slightly snoring as Harry smiled at his godfather. They all deserved proper rest after the raid on Riddle Manor, especially Sirius who had lead all the aurors into the raid. Because of his deeds he'd been offered the position of the DMLE head but the man had politely declined. When asked why he simply said that he wanted to give his time to Susan who never had proper presence of a parental figure in her life. Her parents were murdered when she was very young and Amelia couldn't be around enough because of her work. This is why Sirius said that he will be looking after Susan.

As for a job he technically didn't need one seeing how rich he was being the head of an ancient and noble house but still he got a temporary job as an auror, much to the annoyance of his cousin Nymphadora. While Susan would be in Hogwarts he could keep himself busy with something he loved doing and once she returned during summer he could take a long vacation with her.

Harry closed the door of Sirius' room before heading towards his own. As he opened his room's door he saw a letter on the table. He picked it up and saw it was from Draco. He opened it and began to read its contents as a small smile came upon his face.

He put down the letter, looking outside the mirror at the vast estate and the beautiful gardens that shone lightly under the clear sky and an almost full-moon. He had asked Draco and Draco had accepted his request.

It seemed things would surely change from now on for him as Harry changed into his night clothes before going to sleep.
