The Commodore jumped through space to appear above Alfheim, home of the light elves. Loki parked the vessel in a cave, hidden in a cliff by vines and shrubbery. He placed a lock on the vessel and turned it off. Only he could start it up. This was an emergency option if he needed it. He made sure it could last for years. Everything inside that was not a perishable was thrown out. It was clean and ready for the next flight.

Loki patted it once before he left. He started the last part of his journey back to the oasis. Each portal he used to get closer, he started to get anxious. It's been five years since he vanished. He wondered how Sigyn was going to react. He wondered how his sons were doing. There were lots of thoughts crowding his mind.

He was at the last portal. He stopped. His heart racing, his anxiety started to eat away at him. Thoughts turned to what ifs. He swallowed down the fear. Loki didn't know that he had gotten through the portals faster than usual. He was distracted by his thoughts; he didn't notice how picked up his stride. Sigyn was there waiting for him. His sons. He couldn't hesitate anymore. Loki took a breath and started to walk again.

The oasis was the same as he left it. A hidden piece of space that had mild weather, meadows, waterfall, abundant flora and fauna, and a home he built himself. A secret he kept hidden, a secret among the stars.

He had reached the oasis in the late afternoon. The herd of horses were grazing in the meadow. There were yearlings and foals mixed in with the three adult horses. A relief that their family were back together again. He stared at the door of his home. His hand stopped before reaching the handle. He gathered courage to grasp it to open it.

The home inside was still the same. He felt he was gone longer than five years. It felt like centuries. The aroma, the warmth, all of it, coming in waves of nostalgia, hitting him as a cliff face trying to bring it down and warp it to its touch. He was home. This was real. He walked in farther before stopping as he heard something.

A child was crawling about. A little girl with red hair with a doll stood up. Loki stood watching her. She was three perhaps, he tried to guess her age. Locks of curly red hair. He smirked. She looked like a mini Sigyn. He heard another sound of a child. He waited. The child's little hands could be heard slapping upon the wooden floors. A little boy with black hair. Loki could tell it was Vali. He started to smile. Nari pushed his little body into a standing position.

"You're supposed to stay inside with me," a girl's voice called to them. Loki guessed maybe she was four maybe five. He heard the sounds of items, maybe toys, being pushed out of the way. Her feet stomped as she walked over to them. "We are playing in here!" She sounded like she was ordering them when she was looking down at them.

Loki saw that she was also had red hair. Another spitting image of Sigyn. Loki caught his breath. He didn't want to make a sound. This was too precious of a sight to behold. The oldest girl noticed that she was being watched. She looked over to him. Loki froze. He didn't want to scare them.

Einmyria didn't hesitate. Staring at her, was her father. Her eyes lit up, as she ran around the two to get to him. His eyes followed her as she came towards him. She didn't stop as she grabbed unto his legs, hugging him tightly. Loki flinched as he peered down, surprising him as he lifted is arms out of the way. Her head titled all the way back with a cheesy grin staring up at him.

"You're back!" She had tears rolling down her cheeks. "Father you're back! Mama kept crying over you."

Loki let out a gasp that was almost a choke. Did he hear her just right? She just called him father, but he only knew about his two sons. Did that mean the other little redhead was his too? He bent over to pick her up in his arms. She hugged him as he held her on his side.

"I'm so happy you are back," Einmyria rested her head on his shoulder. "I got bwothers and now I got my father too." She started to cry. Loki's heart clenched; his chest ached. "Don't weave okay?" She sniffled. "Don't weave again."

"I-I won't," Loki whispered to her. "I promise. I won't ever leave again." He planted a kiss on top of her head. He walked over to the other two, who were staring at him. He crouched down. "Can I let you down to greet your sister and brothers?" He stared at her. She nodded and wiped her eyes. She let go of him to stand, tears were still streaming down her eyes. He hugged him both Nari and the little red head. They both cried in his arms. He pulled his oldest daughter back into a hug, kissing the tops of their heads. He heard the cries of his infant. "Let me go check on your brother, okay?" His voice soft and gentle. They all nodded.

Loki headed into the chamber. The room was still the same, he headed over to Nari. He picked him up. "I'm here-I'm here. Don't worry." He raised Nari up to sniff around the diaper area. That was okay for now. He eyed the Midgardian baby bottle that had a half a bottle of milk left. It was a little warm. He must have been just fed but couldn't finish the bottle and fell asleep instead. Loki grabbed it, tasted a drop to make sure it was still good before feeding his son. Nari was hungry. He finished the rest of the bottle. Loki placed him by his shoulder and started to pat his back gently. He heard the little burps. "That's my boy." He wiped his mouth with a cloth nearby. Nari yawned again. "Oh, eat and sleep. What a life." He put Nari back down in the crib. "There we go." He gave a comforting smile.

He didn't hear the front door opening. Sigyn had walked back in. She had a basket in hand. She saw the kids in one of the living areas. They all were red faced with tears. She put the basket of produce down as she picked up her stride. Sigyn crouched down to them. She started to wipe away their tears.

"What's wrong?" She asked them. They didn't say anything. Einmyria opened her mouth but she started to cry more. Einmyria hid her eyes as she rubbed them with the back of her hands. "Einmyria? What happened? It's okay to cry, don't hold back." Einmyria nodded as she cried more. "You're not hurt, are you? Just answer the silent way." Sigyn glanced at all of them who were all doing the same thing. She looked back at Einmyria who was shaking her head. "Okay, you're not hurt. Did you just have a wave of emotion?" Einmyria shook her head again. "Okay. That's good at least none of you are hurt." She heard Nari giggle. "Oh, Nari. Shoot! I have to feed the rest of the bottle to your brother. He probably just woke up. Let it all out, all of you okay. Then when I feed your brother, maybe you can tell me then what happened, okay?" Einmyria nodded her head with force. "Okay. It's okay. Go ahead and cry. Emotions are hard to control, especially at your age. It's okay." She hugged and kissed all of them before getting up.

Sigyn headed into the room. She turned to face the crib before freezing as she saw him. Her hand clutched her chest above her heart. Was she hallucinating? Was this the hologram Loki? The kids were outside of the nursery and the chamber door was open. Its possible they touched one of the buttons but Sigyn went through all of the messages. There was no message of him standing like this, as if he was next to a crib.

Loki was frozen in place too. She hadn't really changed. She was a bit thinner and seemed tired but it could be due to the children more than the depressive thought he had of her just waiting for him to come back, waiting alone with the kids. Sigyn took the few steps to shorten the distance between them. He watched her. Sigyn brought her hand up to caress his cheek. Her hand touched flesh and didn't pass through.

She chuckled out a sob. It was him. She didn't even want to use her powers to see if it was him. She didn't even think about using them. She hadn't really used her mind powers that much. Loki placed his hand over hers. "It's-its re-really you." She choked out while sobbing. Loki used his other hand to snake around her and pull her in closer to him, hugging her.

"I am," he nodded. His voice cracking. "It's me." He nodded.

"Hah!" Sigyn let out a gasp. His hand brought up her other hand to caress the other side of his cheek. He kissed each palm. When she grabbed onto his face, both of his hands moved over her hands, gliding on her arms, caressing her back, bringing her closer to him. He kept his eyes on her. "Wel-welcome home, Loki." She cried with a smile. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He kissed the top of her forehead. His hold on her tightened as he brought her tighter into a hug. She moved her arms to wrap around his torso. Sigyn rested her head into him, sobbing her heart out.

"I'm home," Loki whispered. He closed his eyes, trying to stop the tears. Sigyn cried harder into his chest. It seemed forever standing like that. He picked her up, with both arms, carrying her to sit on the bed. She kept hugging him. This was easier for him to hug her as well. He rested his head in the crook of her neck. The sweet, fragrant smell of her stabbed his heart. He didn't know how much he had missed her. He couldn't believe he had forgotten for a second what she smelled like. The two hugged one another tighter, pouring their hearts out to one another.

The children heard the two. They came crawling with tears still in the eyes. Loki and Sigyn unlocked from one another to bring them up onto the bed, hugging them as well. All five of them were crying, as they were now a whole family once again.

It was about an hour before the group broke up. The children started to groan about being hungry. Sigyn reassured them that dinner would be started soon and they could have a small snack to hold them over until then. They slid off the bed to head towards the kitchen. Sigyn was about to off of Loki when his arms were clasped about her waist. She looked down, following the arms back to him. He was staring at her with a glint of a pout. Sigyn started to smirk. She leaned in, as he leaned in. The two finally met with their first kiss in five years.

The kiss was sweet, soft but it started to turn to a hunger, a deeper passion. Sigyn turned more of her body towards him. Loki helped pull her legs on either side of him. There were short breaths in between because they didn't want to stop. Sigyn clutched the clothes on his chest. His hands were bringing her body closer.

"What snacks can we gave again?!" Einmyria yelled.

It made the two jerk out of their trance, trying to catch their breaths. Loki glanced behind her before looking back to her. The kids weren't in sight. The two brought their faces closer and started to kiss again. It started out sweet again, little pecks.

"Are you coming?!" Eisa yelled this time.

Sigyn broke away this time. "Yes, your mother is coming." She let out sigh before giving Loki a reluctant look. He had something else on his mind, since he gave her a curious stare.

"Just with a few kisses?" He arched an eyebrow. Sigyn gave him a curious stare before she understood. She stood right up. He chuckled.

"God of Mischief indeed," Sigyn teased him with a half-hearted glare. He stood behind her.

He placed his hands upon her waist, while he lowered his head to speak into her ear. Not allowing her to leave from him. "Sigyn." His hoarse whisper sent shivers down her spine. "I will allow you to come get dinner for our children." He teased her. She elbowed him in the ribs. "Ow!" He rubbed them, spurned about her teasing glare as she moved away from him. "Goddess of Fidelity." He reminded her.

"Goddess of Victory as well," she lifted her chin before taking a step towards the door.

Loki smiled. He caught up to her in one stride. He placed an arm around. Sigyn looked up to him. "I'm not leaving you."

"I can't even take a bath by myself for some peace and quiet then?" Sigyn asked.

"Not for a long while, no," Loki patted her hind end. Sigyn smiled. He was home and up to his antics again.

Sigyn got the children a snack, placing two of them in high chairs, while Loki brought out items to start cooking. It was the start of many meals together. Sigyn spoke the names of Einmyria and Eisa so Loki would know who was who. He helped feed them the two younger ones.

That night, Loki told them stories of his adventures with their Uncle Thor. He kissed and tucked in each one. He even told a separate story to Nari before doing the same to him. When the children were asleep, Sigyn and Loki took a bath together. It was a long, hot bath, but it was well needed.

After the bath, Sigyn was still brushing her hair, Loki was back in the chamber, he sat down on his side of the bed. He sat on what felt like a pillow. He stood up in his black robe. Loki drew back the blankets to see a pillow of him sleeping. Loki scrunched his eyebrows.

"What is this?" Loki called out with curiosity. He turned to view his wife come back into the room while wearing his green robe. He was curious about that too. He lifted both eyebrows at her.

"Hm?" She asked. Loki glanced down at the pillow. She looked down at the pillow. "OH!" Sigyn started to turn red with embarrassment. "It was a gift." Sigyn started to explain. Loki stayed silent, waiting for more information. "I was obviously lonely and." Sigyn became sad. She walked over to the pillow, grabbing it to clutch it close.

"I am here now," Loki reminded her. He was not going to have her keep his replacements, well if he could even call them replacements. It was a pillow. He noticed that it had another version of him on the other side as well.

"Yes, you are," Sigyn raised on her tip toes to give him a peck on the lips. "This-these-"

"These?" Loki tilted his head. "There's more than one?"

Sigyn let out a sigh. "Tony." She swallowed. "He…he made them for me."

"Oh," Loki understood now. "That was nice of him. I will have to thank him."

Sigyn put a hand on his wrist. Loki looked down at it then to her, as she started to cry again. "He-he saved us." Loki understood. He pulled her into a hug.

"He was a good man," Loki spoke aloud. "He died worthy." He felt Sigyn nodding. Loki pulled away to wipe away her tears.

It was a few moments before Sigyn finally recovered again. She put the pillow off to the side. Loki spied a familiar box. He had a smug grin. Sigyn turned to see it. "What are you smiling about?"

"I don't know why I didn't think about that earlier," Loki rested his chin on his hand with the other supporting it. "Two little redhead girls, spitting image of their mother. My Sigyn would never cheat on me, but that must mean she used my gift." He was being cheeky with her. Sigyn's ears turned red. He noticed. "And she used it willingly." Sigyn picked up the pillow and threw it at him out of embarrassment. Loki turned with a chuckle, trying to avoid it, as it hit him. "I am happy that it was of some use, but no more replacements." Loki grabbed the pillow only to toss it to the wall. He grabbed Sigyn. "No more being away from you, from my children, from here, our home. The rest of the universe can believe that I am dead. I never want my family to believe that I am dead." He brought her into a kiss. The two slowly moved towards the bed.

It was not a long enough night for them. Sigyn was sleeping on his chest, her body entangled with his. He woke up before her, but he kept his eyes closed, trying to go back to sleep. The first morning back together was cut short as it started into the routine of children waking up, feeding them, changing their clothes, and such. Sigyn caught him up on everything that had happened while he was gone. Einmyria and Eisa also caught him up on what they were doing as well. Loki showed love to all of them. He was even teaching them his tricks and styles of fighting. They were a loving family hidden in the oasis. It was bliss.
