Hoo boy, work has been quite hard for me lately, but hey, at least I can bring you a chapter of something each week.

Hope you enjoy.

"Woo! Party!" Mina shouted as the last of the students walked into the 1-A dorms, the pink-skinned girl almost vibrating with excitement at the crowd of almost forty people all gathered in the common room.

"We're not here for fun, Mina," Jiro sighed, "We may have called it a party, but it's a study party."

"Aw, but-," the girl groaned.

"No," Kendo sighed as she carried a large pile of books to the table, "We can play after we've studied."

"Okay," Mina sighed as she slumped at the table.

"There certainly are a lot of us," Momo muttered as she looked over the chattering students, "How are we going to do this effectively?"

"I suggest splitting off into at least four groups of eight or nine," Kendo hummed, "We can have the top two students from each class tutor a group each in whatever they are weak at."

"That'd work," Izuku hummed, "Except Tenya isn't here right now, and there's no way Kacchan would agree."

"Iida did say he was going to visit his brother today, didn't he?" Momo nodded.

"Wait…" the red head blinked as she stared at Izuku, "Bakugo is higher than you?"

"Third in the class for marks," Izuku nodded with a grin, "I'm fourth, but I'm sure I can help!"

"You are often only a single point or two behind him, if that, Midoriya," Momo replied, "I'm sure it will be fine. Besides, I doubt he would make a very effective tutor."

"THE FU-HECK'D YOU SAY ABOUT ME, HIGH-CLASS?!" the screech came from the stairwell as Katsuki stomped out, "I CAN TEACH BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU!"

"Then prove it," Izuku smirked as he grabbed Kirishima by the shoulder, "Get Kiri into the top half of the class, and you'll win."

"Huh? What?" Eijiro blinked as Bakugo suddenly grabbed his arm, "What's happening?"

"We thank you for your sacrifice," Mina and Denki said as the blond dragged the red head towards the stairs, the teen still looking a little stunned.

"Why him?" Setsuna asked as she sat at the table.

"Only one who'd be able to get through Katsuki's brand of teaching alive," Izuku hummed as he turned to the room, "Okay guys! We'll be splitting into groups!"

Inko hummed happily to herself as she prepared the snacks in the dorm's kitchen, casting a glance into the common area every now and again as she passed the door to check on the children studying. She smiled as she watched Izuku grin at the group he was sitting with, talking animatedly about the subject they were covering. The others seemed to be having just as much fun learning from him as he seemed to be having teaching them, bringing a warm feeling to Inko's chest.

"Midoriya-san," Yaoyorozu said as she entered the kitchen, clearing her throat slightly, "Could I trouble you for some water?"

"Of course, dear," the woman smiled as she grabbed a glass and filled it from one of the pitchers in the fridge, "And I've told you many times already, call me Inko. You wouldn't call your mother by your family name, would you?"

"Ah, no… but I don't want to be rude," the tall girl mumbled as she accepted the glass, taking a sip.

"You wouldn't be," Inko said firmly, smirking slightky as she looked at the girl, "In fact, it would be more rude to keep calling me by my family name when I have asked you not to so many times!"

"I…oh," Yaoyorozu said softly, her cheeks flushing slightly as she looked away, "Y-you are right, Mid-…Inko-san."

"I know," Inko chuckled, "After all, I am a mother. Now, would you be a dear and help me carry these snack trays out to the rest, Momo-san?"

"M-Momo-san?" the girl squeaked, before gathering herself and nodding, "O-of course, Inko-san."

"I don't get it," Himiko muttered as she looked over the sheets of paper in front of her, "Why do I have to do this too? I'm not the one writing exams."

"Because," Pipi sighed as she quickly marked the worksheet, "You still need to have a basic education, so you might as well study with me."

The blond watched the bat girl continue marking the worksheet, biting her lips slightly as she read over Himiko's answers, before Himiko let out a soft "Why?"

"Why what?" Pipi sighed, pausing as she looked up at the other girl, "I just told you, didn't I?"

"Not that…" Himiko muttered, "Why…why are you helping me?"

"Because…" Pipi trailed off for a moment, before nodding her head slightly, "Because I'm your friend, and friends help each other."

"Oh," Himiko whispered, "I…I had friends before…but they all ran away after…after…"

"You don't have to tell me," Pipi interrupted, going back to the worksheet, "Just know that I want to help you just as much as Midoriya-san."

"Oh," Himiko said, blinking slightly, before a bright smile crossed her face, "Okay. How'd I do?"

"Almost perfect score," Pipi sighed as she handed the worksheet back, "You just got a couple of answers mixed up. You're actually quite smart."

"Hey," Himiko giggled, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I'm exhausted," Kaminari moaned as he flopped down on his desk, "But the exams are finally over!"

"The written ones at least," Mina chimed, "I'm excited for the practical exams, though! We're just going against robots, so we'll be able to really let loose!"

"I don't know about that," Izuku hummed, "I wonder what they'll do about the missing member of the class?"

"YOU'RE JUST FUCKING SCARED THAT YOU WON'T GET TO STEAL ANYONE'S QUIRK!" Katsuki spat from his seat, glaring at Izuku.

"It's not that," the green-haired teen muttered, "I'm just curious what they'll do about it."

"Well, it depends on what they decide," Momo said as she approached the group of students, "I would say that if we're going to be grouped up, then one team will have a person less."

"But if we're put in pairs then one person will be on their own," Ochako added, glancing at Izuku as he continued muttering to himself.

"True," Shoto hummed, making the group start as he looked at them blankly, "I feel as if they have something special planned."

"I agree," Izuku muttered, "But what?"

Himiko watched the rest of the group as they talked about their week, fidgeting slightly as the students complained about exams and studying. She had been fairly bored over the last few days, having had no one to hang out with except Inko-san. And while the woman was amazing, she was still an adult, and Himiko was still learning to trust her fully.

"Toga-san?" her name made Himiko jump slightly as she was pulled out of her thoughts, looking over at Vlad King as the man glanced back, "How was your week? If you're comfortable talking about it."

"I…I'm fine," she muttered, biting her lip, "I had a pretty good week. Mostly just studying to catch up and stuff."

"Why didn't you also have exams?" one of the group asked, their voice muffled behind the large space suit like helmet they wore, "Aren't you in second year? I haven't seen you in any of the classes."

"Oh…uhm…" Himiko looked down as she tried to think up an excuse, tensing slightly as the person in the space suit spoke again.

"Oh, sorry," They said, "Was that too invasive? I didn't mean to offend you."

"No, it's okay," the blond said hurriedly, "I, uhm… I'm not in school at the moment because of…reasons."

"Oh," the suited figure said, the helmet bobbing back and forth in a nod, "Okay."

"Well, that ends today's session," Vlad King growled as he stood from his seat, "I hope all of you did well on your exams, and I'll see you all next week!"

Himiko darted over to Pipi's side as the Bat girl got up, latching onto her as they started to leave the room.

"Uhm…" the muffled voice made them both stop, looking at the suited figure again, "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry again. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, Toga-san."

"That's okay," Himiko replied softly as she squeezed Pipi's arm, slipping behind the shorter girl, "I wasn't offended or anything."

"Oh, that's good!" the figure chuckled, "Oh, I'm Shoichi Hinokami, second year in the Support department, by the way. But you probably already knew that because of the group."

"Oh, hello, Hinokami-san, nice to meet you," Himiko mumbled as she awkwardly held out her hand, blinking in surprise when the gloved hand firmly grasped hers, the heat radiating from the palm even through the thick suit, "Oh…is that your quirk?"

"Yeah, it's called "Hot-Blooded", my internal body temperature is about 1000 degrees centigrade," Shoichi explained, "So I have to wear this suit to not burn anyone around me. It's only so effective though."

"Wow, that must be hard," Pipi hummed, "Have you considered using endothermic materials? Or a more compact cooling system? It could absorb the heat you produce and vent it out safely."

"That's exactly what I've done," Shoichi laughed, "I actually made this suit myself. And I have, I even have a design and composition for the material, but I have no way of actually producing it."

"Have you considered bio-mesh?" Pipi said excitedly, "I could help you!"

"Yeah," Shoichi replied, "It didn't go so well in the tests. I burn too hot for it to withstand."

"Oh," Pipi said flatly, "That's a pity."

"If it's making stuff, then doesn't Izu-kun have a classmate that does that?" Himiko whispered to Pipi, the bat girl's head snapping to look at her with wide eyes.

"Yaoyorozu-san! Of course!" the support student said excitedly, suddenly hugging Himiko, "If Hinokami-senpai already has the composition, then she should be able to make it!"

"I'm sorry," Shoichi said, "But who are we talking about?"

The bus was noisy as the class made their way towards the site of the Practical exam, everyone talking about various things as Izuku adjusted his new gloves on his hands, getting used to the weight.

"You changed your costume a bit," Ochako said as she leaned over from her seat across the aisle, "Are those brass knuckles?"

"Yeah, they're built into my gloves, I got the idea from Ms. Joke," He replied.

"Oh, cool! But won't they get in the way of some quirks?" she asked, looking at the thick white gloves.

"Nah, they're held together with Velcro, so they come off really easily if I need to remove then," Izuku chuckled, "I actually have a similar set up for my jacket sleeves, they'll split down the seam if my arms get big enough."

"Wow, you've really thought out your costume, huh?" Ochako muttered, "Maybe I should add some new things to mine as well."

"Oh, if we're talking about things to add, how about tethers or small grappling hooks?" Izuku grinned, "That way you can move more effectively when weightless and could even use things you've made weightless as weapons!"

"That's a really good idea," Ochako smiled back, her cheeks turning slightly red as she looked at Izuku's smiling face, "I'll talk to the Support Department after these exams about that then."

The bus braked a moment later, the students quickly filing off under Izuku's orders, the teen glancing out the window at the gathered teachers outside.

"Wow, what are all the teachers doing here?" Mina asked as they stood opposite the Pros.

"I'm sure you've all heard what the practical exams will be like," Aizawa grumbled as he scratched at his stubble.

"Yeah!" Mina and Kaminari cried, "We're fighting robots!"

"Not exactly!" a chipper voice called, Nedzu popping out of Aizawa's capture scarf and lowering himself to the ground, "Due to a few events, we have decided to change the format of the exams to give you a more practical exercise! Instead of fighting against simple unfeeling, non-thinking foes, each of you will be facing off against one of the teachers in pairs!"

"AGAINST THE TEACHERS?" Mina and Kaminari shrieked, "Oh no! We're all going to fail!"

"Don't worry," Nedzu laughed, "We've taken special precautions to ensure that you all have a chance of success. As long as you try your hardest and go Plus Ultra!"

"So, who are we going up against?" Izuku asked, Tenya immediately speaking after him.

"But there are nineteen of us, and ten teachers! Who is the student that will be participating alone?"

"Don't worry, young Iida," Nedzu chuckled again, "We've planned this all out meticulously."

"Oh, I apologize for interrupting then!"

"As I was about to say," Nedzu continued, "You each will be divided into pairs, and face off against a teacher. The teachers will be restrained by special compact weights, so they will not be able to use their full strength against you, so don't worry. As for the student who will be taking part in the "solo" exam-."

"Midoriya," Aizawa barked, "You're with me. Let's not waste any more time-."

"That would be illogical, right?" the green-haired teen said cheekily as he followed after the taller man, drawing a grunt from the Pro.
