After a tough case for Callen was solved, Granger went to see Hetty in her office. And saw her sitting on her couch looking at photos.

'What are you looking at?' He asked.

'Old photos of myself from, who knows how long ago.' Hetty responded.

'Mmm. I find it a bit amazing that you hardly look any different today then you did then.'

'Well, believe it or not, my hair DID look longer at one point. Back in the 80's.'

'Really? How did I miss that?'

'I don't think we were talking then.' Hetty said.

'What's with the sudden burst of nostalgia all of a sudden?'

'Oh. Just remembering an important day.'

'Like?'

'I'd rather not say.'

'Come on, I think you can trust me enough to not rat you out if you did something stupid.' Granger said.

'Sigh. I'm remembering the day I met Mr. Callen.'

'That long ago?'

Nodding her head, 'Yes. I saved him from going to jail. And that is all you need to know.' Hetty responded.

Smiling, 'And I thought back then, you had chosen another guy over me!'

Rolling her eyes, 'Oh come on.'

'Kidding. I've suspected that you and Callen had some kind of bond.'

'It's a special bond. One that I won't discuss not because I don't trust you, but because it's none of your business.' Hetty responded.

'That's okay. I won't pry.'

'Thank you.'

'Any old photos of us?' He asked.

'You mean the one from when we went on that fake date? If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were actually hitting on me then.' Hetty said.

'That's because I was hitting on you. And I wish it wasn't a fake date.' Granger thought sadly.
