Now with Ginny...

The girl was waiting patiently outside of the hospital, waiting for her boyfriend to come out. All she did to pass the time was sit on a nearby bench, watching the cars that were driving pass the hospital, heading off to who knows where. Too bad even that made her bored.

After a bit more minutes of waiting, Vance finally left the hospital building. He walks up to Ginny, who stands up from the bench once she saw him walking towards her. Once Vance was next to her, he finally spoke.

"Hey, I want to tell you something that the doctors had told me in there." Vance said, pointing behind him. "I hope you're willing to listen." Ginny just stared at her boyfriend for a couple seconds, before nodding silently.

"Go ahead and tell me." Ginny asked.

Vance sighed, before holding up his hands. "So...the doctors remembered me as one of the agents who was here last night, and told me some things about Pablo." Ginny raises an eyebrow, looking at her boyfriend.

"What about him? Is he..."

"No, he is not dead. But...they finally told me that later on tonight, he should be able to wake up." Vance places his hands together, as he continued to speak. "Now...that's not to say that once Pablo wakes up, he is going to be leaving the hospital. Once he wakes up, they said he should just rest at the hospital for a couple days only."

"How long will he still be in the hospital?"

"They said about...about only two days at most."

Ginny stood there for a couple moments, taking in what she was just told about her best friend. She was happy to hear that he won't die from his injuries after all. It was still kind of a shame that he was going to still be in the hospital due to his injuries, but than again, it's only for the best.

"Well...glad to hear..." Ginny said.

"Indeed." Vance said. The agent then blinked a couple times, before looking off to the left again. "Um...are you...by chance, still angry with him after what he had said to you?" Ginny frowned, before shaking her head.

"I can't really said I was angry..." The girl narrows her eyebrows, looking rather irritated by what Pablo kept to himself. "...I mean, I still can't believe that he has kept this secret from me after all these years...but..." Her face went back to looking depressed, rather than angry. "...I just wish he told me this sooner, rather than...now. I just...wish I didn't have to be hearing this now, especially when..." Ginny points towards the hospital doors. "...My own best friend landed himself in the hospital because of this secret. It's just bullshit."

"I know it's bullshit. But...from all that I know about him...can you really blame him for keeping this to himself? He seems pretty...well...shy."

"Pablo couldn't be shy, Vance. We tell each other our own feelings every single time..."

"But...romantic feelings, though?"

"Well..." Ginny frowns. "The only time that I ever talked about romantic feelings was when..." Ginny stops herself, before suddenly realizing who the boy was that she talked to Pablo about. "...You showed up in Simport..." Ginny cringed, before looking up at her boyfriend again. "...Vance, I..." Vance held up a hand.

"Look, Ginny...I don't want to break up with you, if you're coming to that conclusion. I love you more than any of the girls that are around here in Simport. I just want to help you guys, so that you two don't end up stopping your friendship." Ginny just stared at her boyfriend for a couple seconds, before wiping a tear that was about to be forming in her eye.

"So...what do I do about this than?" Vance blinked a couple times, before he places a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder.

"I'll be able to bring you back here later tonight to talk to him. But...to me, I feel like...maybe if you and him talked to each other, maybe you two can work things out." Ginny frowned a little bit, before looking at the hospital building again. "It might not be the best advise that I could think of to help you and him, but...I feel like maybe that's the only option that could help you two in this situation."

Ginny still wasn't so sure about this advise that Vance is giving her. She feels like if she talks to Pablo about the fact that he kept his crush on her secret for so long, things might escalate into them no longer being friends anymore. But then again, after all that has happened during the past few days between the two, Ginny really just wanted to talk things out between her and Pablo, and just...hope that a compromise is agreed on. It was really all she wanted at this point.

"Well...if that's what you think, Vance..." Ginny started off saying, before she looks up from the ground, now looking at him. Vance just stared at her silently. The tomboy with braids than nods her head, finally deciding to do what Vance has told her. "Then...we'll just see what happens later tonight..." The agent nods his head, as he took a deep breath.

"Alright..." Vance said softly, before the two than began to walk off to go somewhere else in the Downtown area.

Later that afternoon...

Katie was just skateboarding her way down to Gino's Pizzeria to get herself some lunch. She had her headphones in her ears, listening to the song 'Perfect' by Simple Plan as she was heading her way over there. She listens to the song whenever she's depressed.

Once Katie got to the building, she kicks up her skateboard, placing it into her backpack as she entered. She went up to the counter where Chef Gino was at, then placed her order down for him. After that, the tomboy went over to one of the random tables, placing her backpack to the side of her chair, and sat down on it so that she can wait.

While she was remaining in her spot, she just stared out the window that was right next to her. It was a short-lived amount of silence for her, as moments later, a male voice came from right nearby her. She felt a tap on her shoulder. Katie turns her head to the right to see that Ghostly was standing there next to her.

"Ghostly..." Katie said, as she finally took notice of who was next to her. "...Oh, sorry...you scared me, dude..."

"Chill dude, no need to get frightened." Ghostly said as he held up his hands. "I just saw you, and just...wondered how things are right now. Also, where's Chaz?"

"Chaz had to go to work...so...I'm alone now..." Katie stood up from the chair she was sitting on, looking over to her best friend. "I'm just trying to just forget everything that has been going on in my life, right now..."

"I see...have you ever heard anything about Annie or Pinky yet?"

"Not yet...Annie is still in the Agency Building, Pinky is still not talking to me...pretty much, I heard absolutely nothing from either of them." She then rubs a hand down her face, before looking over to Ghostly again. "So...is life fine with you right now? Because mine isn't getting any better at all." Ghostly shrugged his shoulders.

"It's fine really." The man sighed, before patting the tomboy on her arm. "Look, I'm sorry for all that you're going through still, Katie. I wish there was a way that Pinky can be able to talk to you." Katie shrugged.

"I was planning on visiting her tonight, since...I've been meaning to talk to her about her ignoring me...also to...apologize for snapping at her for her being too forgiving towards Crystal." The tomboy gave a light chuckle. "Truthfully, I can't really blame Pinky for that, she's such a sweet person, you know? She rarely gets angry with anyone." The tomboy then frowns. "...Well, except now, since...she's been a lot more stressed than ever."

"Damn..."

"Yeah..." Katie sits back down onto the chair, before looking up at Ghostly, who was just about to get back to work.

"I want to talk some more Kate, but I have to get back to work now." He gave her a light smile, before he is about to head off. "I hope things get better for you." Katie sighed, as Ghostly walks off.

"I've been telling that to myself so many times...so far, nothing is getting better..." Katie lowers her head down into the table. "...It never does..."
