Marry Me, By Train, 2009

A Thousand Years, By Christina Perri, 2011

Gazelle heard a knock on her door.

"Come in," She said.

The door to her office/dressing room opened and in walked a red fox, wearing a police officer's uniform.

It took her a second but gazelle then realized she "knew" this fox, or at least who he was.

"Arnt you Nick Wilde, partner to Officer Judy Hopps?" She asked.

"Um, Yes, mam." The fox stuttered.

"Oh please call me Gazelle. Mam makes me sound so old." She smiled at the fox. He looked slightly uncomfortable.

"Um, Gazelle, I was wondering if I could ask a favor of you?" Gazelle raised her eyebrow.

"For the first fox officer of the ZPD and probably the only predator who didn't want to kill Hopps? Sure why not?" Gazelle leaned back in her chair. When she wasn't in concert wear, she liked a powerful suit, so Nick didn't see anything special.

"Um, I was thinking, you could help me out with a question I wanted to ask Carrots...I mean Judy." The fox reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small black box. He flipped it open revealing the ring inside. Gazelle felt her eyes widen in surprise.

"You, a fox, want to marry a bunny?" She asked.

"Well, we've been dating for almost a year..." Nick stopped himself. Gazelle realized she must not have the nicest look on her face. She smiled.

"What do you have in mind?" She said, leaning forward.

"Gazelle is putting on a private concert for the ZPD?" Judy asked.

Nick nodded.

"I heard the chief talking about it."

"Awesome!" Judy exclaimed. "You wanna go?"

"Of course. As long as I'm with you, I'm happy."

Nick and Judy's cruiser pulled up to the ZPD building.

"Uh, Nick, are you sure it's tonight?" Judy asked, seeing the building was completely dark.

"Positive." Nick began to walk to the entrance. Judy followed. Nick opened the door and walked inside.

"Nick? I can barely see anything." Judy said. She waited for an answer. "Nick?"

Nick had disappeared. She walked further into the building. If memory served her right, the front desk was still a few hundred feet away. All of the sudden, a single light blazed. Standing in the light, was the singer herself, Gazelle.

"What the..." Judy trailed off as Gazelle began to sing.

Forever can never be long enough for me.
To feel like I've had long enough with you.

Forget the world now, we won't let them see.
But there's one thing left to do.

Now that the weight has lifted.
Love has surely shifted my way.

"Marry me." She heard a voice say behind her. Another light flipped on so Judy had a spotlight as well. Slowly, she turned. When she saw the fox there, on one knee holding up a ring, she gasped.

"Nick?" She was dumbfounded. Then she realized he was waiting for an answer. "Oh, Nick! Of course, I will! Yes, I will marry you!"

"You will?!" Nick jumped up and enveloped her in a bear hug. He spun around, laughing and set her down. "I love you, Judy. And I want to be with you... forever."

Nick bent down and kissed her. He broke the kiss and slipped the ring on her finger.

Suddenly, all of the lights flicked on.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" The voices of the entire ZPD shook the building. Judy laughed as Nick and her were picked up by 2 rhinos. The crowd gathered at the edge of a makeshift stage. Gazelle walked across it.

"Hello ZPD!" She said.

The rhinos had placed them on their shoulder, close enough so they could hold hands.

"This song goes to Nick, and his new fiancee, Judy!" The crowd cheered as a beat began to play from the speakers and the lights dimmed..

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

One step closer

I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer

I have died every day waiting for you
Darling, don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

One step closer

One step closer

I have died every day waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

The song ended and Nick pulled Judy in for another kiss.

"GAZELLE! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH!" They heard Clawhauser shout. Judy giggled.

"We better go make sure Clawhauser doesn't kill anyone," Nick said. The two walked to the chubby cheetah (who looked about ready to climb on stage), holding hands as they did.

I liked this one, personally. :)
