"A C-section? But why… what happened? Is there something wrong with her or the baby?"

Squeezing her eyes tight shut and wrapping her hands around the railing of the hospital bed she was currently laying on, Regina Mills tried to concentrate on her breathing, inhaling slowly through her nose and then letting the air escape through her mouth; the attempt of releasing the tension from her head to her toes being her only objective.

She tried to think only of that, to just focus on her breathing instead of letting Robin's tone of concern as he asked what was wrong affect her already distressed psyche anymore than what it was already; but the thing was that as much as she tried to, nothing of what she would do seemed to help because honestly speaking, the words of the doctor threw her off, disrupting the rhythm of her breathing technique and thus giving room for the pain to take over her.

And it came hard, the contraction so strong when it peaked that it made her groan and writhe on her side, her knuckles turning white with the effort of squeezing the railing with everything that she had.

Now, if it wasn't because she was currently feeling like her entire midsection was being torn from inside out, the already mother of two would have protested the nonsense the doctor in turn just said. She would have gotten up to her feet, stand face to face with the man and demand that he take back what he just said.

She would have probably ended up asking to see another doctor who knew what he was talking about as well, because this one clearly didn't know.

The way she saw i t, he didn't know shit and no, she was not going to go through a c-section just because he said it. Who did he think he was anyway?

Did he think that this was her first time and that she didn't know? Because yes, as painful as the whole ordeal has been, she has delivered two babies already and everything turned perfectly fine, without the idea of having to put her under the knife being tossed around. That's why she wanted her doctor, the one who assisted in the childbirth of Roland and Rylee because that one… that one knew…

"They are both stable as of now when it comes to their vitals, and she's dilating fine and everything. But the baby is not in position and going through the delivery like this can end up being harmful for both of them. A C-section is the safest way to evade any complications."

"Okay so how do we do this, what happens now?"

Listening to Robin's ask the question in a much more rational tone than the one she would have used herself, Regina buried her face into the inside of her elbow, trying to suck into a deep breath as a cold sweat started to run down her back.

Breech… wasn't this something she should have been told about in her last visit to the doctor? And if the baby was really not in position, couldn't they turn him?

"The nurse will come and prepare her. We'll use spinal anesthesia since-"

Shaking her head and blocking the rest of the conversation, Regina groaned again. Now, she was in too much pain to think rationally or to even voice out how she was against being put under the knife, but if there was something that she knew, it was that she didn't want a C-section.

She knew it would be uncomfortable and probably painful, but what if they turned him? And didn't Robin know this? Because really, she couldn't believe he was there making all the decisions when it was going to be her the one being butchered.

God, and to think she promised Roland that she was going to be back with his baby brother as soon as the following day…

Now if she had a c-section, they were going to keep her there for days, and they were going to drug her and cut her, and Robin would have to leave because who was going to take care of their children and she was going to stay there all alone.

No, no, no, she thought, over and over, because this was not going the way she has been expecting.

That morning, she should have woken up happy and enthusiastic because it was the closest to a reconciliation she has been with Robin in weeks, but instead there she was, riding a contraction from hell while Robin kept asking his question about the procedure.

Was it safe, was the doctor sure they were both going to be alright, was he going to be allowed to be with her?

Unfortunately, it wasn't until the pain started to fade away and she was able to open her eyes, that she lifted her face a little so that she could take a look at her husband talking about this nonsense, and once she did, she went ahead and let him know what was on her mind, probably a little too late… as the doctor was leaving.

"Robin, no, no... I don't want a c-section. Can't the baby be turned… if he turns him I can deliver him without any problems, I know it."

Grabbing the blanket that has been covering her and yanking it away, Regina meant to stand up and go after the doctor so that she could talk it with him instead, but before she could even sit, Robin went to her and laid her back down.

"You heard the man, turning the baby at this point will only make him go into distress, and you… and we can't risk this. I won't risk it."

Feeling her eyes water, Regina sucked in a deep breath because yes, he was probably right and so was that asshole doctor who should have told her on her last visit about this so that maybe, she would have gotten to the hospital sooner and have the baby turned in time, but at the same time, the thought of having to go through such a procedure was something that kind of intimidated her.

First because a c-section was a major surgery and of all the things she has gone through in her messed up life, being in an operation room has never been one of them; and second, because doing it this way took control from her. It was changing her plans and God, how she hated the fact that she couldn't do anything to make the situation turn in her favor.

"I don't want to… they'll drug me and don't do well with drugs."

Running his fingers through her hair and then leaning forward to kiss her forehead, Robin blew out a breath. "I know, I know Babe, but the important thing is that you two can come out of this fine."

Wanting to take comfort in the fact that he was there, reaching for her lower back so that he could massage some of her tension away as he looked at her with something she hoped was love in his eyes, Regina lifted one of her hands and touched his face, her thumb tracing a path down his cheek and toward his lips. "No you don't know. You've never seen me drugged."

"Well I've seen you drunk, plenty of times. I've also seen you in full labour, hating me through the whole thing so how worse can it get, uh?"

Scoffing even if the last thing she should be doing was being humored, Regina blinked slowly, dragging her fingers to his chin and then up the outline of his jaw. "It can get a hell of a lot worse." With that being said, she turned back to serious, her brows furrowing and her lips pursing. "What if something goes wrong, Robin? With the baby..."

Grabbing her hand in his, the blue-eyed man kissed it, pressing his lips to her knuckles. "Nothing will go wrong, not with any of you two."

Now, Regina wanted to trust him on this, wanted to close her eyes and rely on those words; but how could she do that when she could read the concern in his eyes as easily as she recognized the clench on his jaw as he said that to her?

"You don't know that."

"Yes, I do; I have to believe it Regina… because if I don't I'll go out of fucking wits right now and I can't..."

Swallowing hard down, the brunette woman closed her fingers over his and blinked slowly, drinking on the image of her husband staring at her with all the intensity of his blue eyes on her.

Having him there, like that, made her remember how there were still so many things to fix between them, especially from her part; the same way that there were a lot of things that were being left unsaid, and because she didn't want to go through a major surgery without saying them, she went ahead and started to go with what she needed to say to him.

"I love you-"

Flashing her way what was supposed to be a reassuring smile, Robin kissed her hand again. "I love you too."

"And I'm sorry… about everything…"

"Shh, it's okay, you don't have to apologize for anything, alright?"

Before she could reply that yes she did, another contraction started to rattle the very core of her existence and she had to groan in pain, letting go of Robin's hand so that she could go back instead to crushing the railings.

"Remember to breathe slowly in, and then out, you're holding it."

"Oh my God shut up." She whined, even if he was right because yes, she was tensing and holding her breath and that didn't do her any favors.

The pain was brutal, blinding, and as she trembled with it, she did her best to fall in line with her breathing.

Through it all, Robin just kept his hand on her lower back, kneading, soothing, he also kept telling her how good she was doing, rubbing his hand up her leg and ultimately, reaching for her hand when it went into her hair so that she could entangle it there.

"Is she having another one?"

Taking her hand from her hair and letting her squeeze it instead of yanking at her hair, Robin spoke to the nurse that just walked in. "Yeah, they are getting stronger and longer."

"Well, she won't be feeling much more of those soon. I'll put a Foley catheter, an IV and then we'll take her to get her ready for the anesthesia."

A foley, Regina winced even harder, because this was definitely not what she signed for. She let them do it all anyway, trying to put on a brave font when all she wanted was to sob; especially when they took Robin away, as he needed to meet God only knew who for a minute and then get ready to be allowed into the operating room.

She was basically left on her own, and as that downed on her, she went through an inner denial stage where she couldn't believe what was happening.

It was surreal... like a nightmare, the coldness as they moved her to where they were going to operate, the huge needle that went through her spine, the numbness that started to sweep through her… how it felt like she was being confined to that surgical bed as if she was a prisoner.

Then there was the anesthesiologist talking his heart out as if she was paying him any attention and people moving all about and around, and even in her numbness, it was overwhelming.

"Where's my husband?" She asked, not feeling anything from her chest down. She even tried to make her arms move so that she could retreat them back to herself and not have them all spread out, but much to her horror, they wouldn't cooperate.

"He's getting his scrubs and mask on, he'll be here in a second."

Shaking her head right to left a couple of times and hoping the movement would make the tubes they shoved up her nostrils fall off, Regina hummed.

It was supposed to be a complaint because God, she wanted the tubes off. She also wanted to move her fucking arms, not just her fingers… but her entire arms.

"Hey." Recognizing Robin's voice immediately, Regina searched for him with her eyes, finding him as he sat in a chair they apparently put for him by her side.

"Don't like this-" She mumbled at once, and even if she couldn't see his entire face as he was wearing a mask, she could see in the corner of his eyes how he smiled at her.

It was reassuring, having him there, being able to feel his touch on her face.

"I bet you don't, but you know what? It's going to be fine and before you know it, I'll get you and our baby out of here." Sliding his fingers into her hair and scratching lightly on her scalp, Robin cleared his throat.

"Hmm." She doubted that... like yes, whatever kind of drugs they put on her were making her feel woozy and like her mind was floating, but she wasn't so far gone as to believe this was going to be quick.

Maybe the operation, but the recovery of a c-section was a serious thing and that was something she wasn't exactly looking forward to.

But, even if his words were an empty promise to make her feel better, maybe he could at least help her take off the annoying thing on her nose. "Take this off my nose… can't breathe with it."

"That's oxygen, I'm pretty sure you need that."

Snarling her lips, she hummed again, looking straight ahead to see nothing but the blue curtain they put up over her. She stared at it for a while, wondering what was going on at the other side.

That was until Robin grabbed her chin and made her look back at him. "I love you, so much."

"Love you too."

He smiled again, and for what felt like an eternity, all she could do was look into those two pools of blue that composed his eyes. Sure, she could feel the doctor prodding and a strange pressure being applied on her, but all she could focus on was Robin's gaze on her.

"Here we go, baby's coming out." The doctor announced and for a whole second, she felt her world spin fast and then settle.

"Robin-"

"It's okay, it's going to be okay."

Listening to those words, Regina sucked into a deep breath and the pressure was stronger. It wasn't painful, but the sensation was there.

"Go check." She said at last because the wait was killing her. She needed to know if her baby was fine and since she couldn't look, Robin would have to do it for her.

Not having to be told twice, the father of her children stood up, looking over the curtain. He did that for what felt like a whole eternity, making the wait drag into forever.

It wasn't until she suddenly heard the distinct sound of a baby crying, that she was able to relax.

"Is he alright, Robin?" She asked, her voice shaking.

Blowing out a breath and sitting back on his chair, Robin blinked a couple of times, as if in shock. Regina just watched him, taking notice of his watery eyes and the way he was looking at her.

It scared her, because he wouldn't just talk. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing… it's…"

"It's a girl, a very healthy one if we go by those lungs." A nurse voiced out, holding a still crying baby to her face so that she could kiss it. She did, not even able to have a good look because her eyes were clouded with tears.

"A girl?" She whispered in confusion, blinking for several times. "Are you sure?"

"I am most certain." The nurse said, handing the baby to Robin now.

Taking her and fixing his eyes on the newborn, he scoffed. "Hey there, my Princess. Yes yes you are, a beautiful one. Want to go and say hi to mummy again."

Holding on her breath and feeling drowsy as hell, Regina watched as Robin got the baby close to her and placed it on her chest. It gave her a chance to kiss her again and feel her, her mind trying to drink on all the little details of her.

"She's beautiful." And so tiny compared to her two siblings, even though she was the one who came full term.

"Beautiful just like you. Well… at least she has your nose."

Regina scoffed, or at least tried to because this baby had most of her father's features but his nose; she was even blonde, for crying out loud.

"Poor thing got my ears too." Robin added, wiping the tears forming in the corner of his eyes with the back of his hand.

Feeling her own tears escaping her because she was in awe by how much in love Robin was already with their daughter, Regina licked her lips. "Let's hope she gets your temper too."

"Well… I'm not sure if that's a good thing, you know? Her old man is stubborn like a mule… sometimes tone deaf as well."

In that moment, Regina wanted to tell him that he was perfect the way he was, and that she wouldn't have him being any other kind of way. But one, she didn't want to keep skating in the same spot and keep reminding each other of the horrendous fallout they were barely getting out of, and two, her tongue was suddenly feeling too heavy on her mouth.

That's why she just watched her baby, her heart full of love as the creature got cozy against her.

The moment lasted until the nurse said she needed to take the baby to clean her up and check on her, and after that, it was back to just Robin and her.

"A girl…" Regina mumbled, groaning low in her throat because this definitely took her by surprise. "Not fair… she'll love you better, like Rylee."

"That's nonsense. Rylee loves you like crazy, and so will this one" Leaning closer to her, he kissed her, his mouth covering her own as he told her how much he loved her too.

She was going to tell him she also loved him, so much… but before the words could roll out of her tongue, her eyes closed and everything turned black.

When she opened them again, she was in another room, her entire body sore and feeling odd. She also took notice that there was no one but a nurse there, and that when she saw how Regina was getting back to consciousness, she started to explain what was happening and what she could and couldn't do.

Regina hummed in agreement, only getting smalls bits about how she needed to keep her head and neck down, how she was going to get some sort of medication for the pain on her IV and how when the effects of the anesthesia would completely wear off, that she was going to be sent into a private room.

After that she passed out again, and she was in and out for what felt like a hundred times. Sometimes she was on her own, another time she was being moved through a corridor, and in the last one, she had Robin there with her; the man grabbing her hand and pressing it to his lips as she drifted off to sleep again and again.

All that went by like in a dream, until a point when her eyes opened and even though she was sleepy as hell, she didn't feel like closing them right back.

"Welcome back."

"What time is it?" She growled, watching as Robin walked closer to her.

"Late, it's almost eight o'clock."

Wondering how time went by so fast, Regina lifted a hand to her stomach, feeling around and finding the whole area numb. "My baby?"

"She's fine; strong and healthy, there were no complications."

Trying to form a smile but falling short, the brunette breathed in. "You should go back home with the kids."

"They are fine and being well taken care of, so I'm staying here. If you'll have me, of course."

Rolling her eyes, Regina felt like she needed to protest that because he could do so much more with Roland and Rylee than there watching her sleep; but at the same time, as soon as he said that, her hand reached for him and she gave it a small squeeze. "Will always have you"

And really, she didn't want him to go… not now or ever.

Not when she felt like she just got him back; and not when for the first time in the last several weeks, she felt like her stupid mistake wasn't hanging heavily on them.

"Good, because I already got everything set up to spend the night here. I even have my phone handy, because next time you start cussing and hissing under your breath like you've been doing, I'm going to be recording you."

Instead of asking what the hell was he talking about, Regina grimaced, trying to move a little to the side to be more comfortable while looking at him. The movement ended up sending a pang of pain straight into her core, so she quickly desisted.

"Are you alright?"

"Hmm, I'm never going through this again. You need to know that."

Blowing out a breath, Regina said, and in her fuzzy mind she wasn't sure if she was talking about their fallout or the whole thing with the c-section.

"I know, you told me like a thousand times when you woke up earlier on."

Furrowing her brows because she didn't remember even opening her mouth before, Regina blinked. "Really?"

"Yes. You also demanded I get snipped, you threw me out of the room, and you pretty much started babbling about how you needed me to get you some hot cheetos."

At his words, she felt like scoffing, but thinking that would be too painful to do in her condition, she just closed her eyes for a second and shook her head. "And did you get me the hot cheetos or no?"

Scratching down his jaw as his other hand kept his hold on hers, Robin breathed deeply in. "I… didn't… and not because I didn't want to, because trust me, right now I would do anything you asked; but I didn't because the nurse said you shouldn't eat anything right now, let alone chips; and also, because this hospital doesn't sell those wretched things."

Biting on her lips because it was alright since she wasn't hungry at that moment nor did she think she could stomach anything, the brown-eyed woman smiled at him.

"And you, did you eat something? It's so late-"

"You don't worry about me, alright?"

Regina blinked, the feeling of his fingers intertwining with hers making her entire being brim with warmth.

"Sorry if I got difficult to handle, I told you I didn't deal so well when drugged."

Flashing her a small smile with his dimples in full display, Robin fixed his eyes on her and sure, even if it was something he has done a thousand times before, she felt something in her heart tugged this time. Maybe it was because she almost lost this, lost him… and all because she was such a stupid ass.

"It was nothing. Besides, I was too happy to have you kind of back, even if it was by talking gibberish or snapping at me that trust me, I wasn't even bothered."

"God, I was bad, wasn't I?" Regina tightened her hold on him, slapping a hand to her forehead because fucking shit, snapping at him has been the last thing she needed to be doing.

Like she still wasn't crawling out of messing up one time and there she was again. He must be wondering what good were her therapies that she was back at not being able to control herself.

"In my defense, I was drugged… I don't even remember any-"

"I got scared back there, you know?" He interrupted her. "I kept thinking that anything could go wrong and I… just, I was freaking out."

Dropping her hand away from her face and searching his eyes with her own chocolate brown orbs, Regina pouted her lips. She couldn't remember most of the details, but if there was something that she knew, it was that the thought of him freaking out was one that never crossed her mind.

He actually has looked composed and so well put, while she has done horribly.

"You looked fine, me on the other hand… tsk."

"I wasn't fine. If anything would have happened to you, Regina… I wouldn't have known what to do with myself. I can't lose you, and I won't, in any possible way. Okay?"

Sucking in a deep breath and feeling her eyes burn with the weight of some rebel tears that wanted to come out, Regina nodded, the meaning of his words digging into the deepest part of her being and settling there.

"Okay."

Sucking his lips into his mouth, Robin nodded as well, and it was there that she noticed that his eyes were not as clear as they were normally and that in the time she has been out, he has developed a shadow under them that spoke volumes of the turmoil he just described.

It made her feel like lifting her hand so that she could run her fingers down his face, and much like he has been doing before, he grabbed her hand and kissed it, from her knuckles to her wrist.

"Why don't you try to rest a bit more now?"

Sniffing, she placed her other hand over his. She was going to say that she didn't want to, that she was okay and wanted to keep talking with him, but the truth was that she was tired, and she wanted to close her eyes for a little so she did.

After that, time kept moving on and she was in and out again, dozing off for short periods of time and then being snapped awake.

It wasn't by choice though, but it happened just because everyone and their mothers apparently took a liking to waltzing into her room every couple of hours or so. To take her vitals, to give her painkillers, or antacids, to take out the trash and even once, to change the pad they put under her.

The last one was a humiliating thing she hated Robin to witness, but it was what it was, and there was nothing much to do about it.

When morning came and the nurse disconnected her from the IV and then the Foley, she was told that if she held her breakfast and got out of bed, that they were going to bring in her baby, and that's how she ended up doing one of the most painful things she has ever done in her life.

Standing up from a bed after a c-section.

It took her breath away, it burned, it hurt and it made her eyes water. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, taking those first few steps towards the bathroom to take a shower ended up killing her.

"I can't." She admitted, lifting her eyes up to stare at Robin, who was right in front of her, holding her steady as she walked with the pace of a crawl.

"You're doing fine. Just remember what the nurse told you, keep your back straight and do it at your pace, there's no rush."

Whimpering, Regina held tight to Robin's forearms, and that way, she made the tedious walk from her bed to the bathroom.

Taking a shower was no better, dressing was even worse… so much worse that if it wasn't because it would hurt too much to do so, she would have ended up sobbing under the spray of the water.

She didn't, she was able to keep it in, but it was Robin the one who ended up brushing the tangles in her hair and putting a pair of socks on her feet when she said she was too cold, the same way that it was him the one who pushed for her to eat all of her food.

And yes, maybe she was being babied and she was being a bit over the top, but she was in too much pain and if he wanted to be the one taking care of her, who was going to say no?

It was only when the baby was finally brought over, that she felt life surge within her and suddenly, she was the one wanting to do everything.

The pain was secondary now, because her baby was there and that was all that mattered. It was that way that she fed her, changed her nappy, held her close, smelled her, counted her fingers and toes, made sure she was really a girl and that Robin wasn't trying to prank her…

"She's perfect." And it was so good to finally have her in her arms.

"She looks so much like Rylee when she was born."

Letting her eyes roam along the baby's features, Regina smiled. "Yeah she does, which means she's all you. It's not fair, you know? Forty one weeks in my womb, kicking and turning like crazy, not letting me sleep... and she comes out looking like you."

"Well that frown, is all you."

Lifting her chin up, Regina looked at him, her intention to refute what he just said; but when her eyes met him and found him smiling, she couldn't help but to do the same. "What?"

Before he replied to her, Robin moved forward and kissed her, his mouth brushing against hers with enough pressure to make her sigh. It didn't last enough though, as it ended with him giving her a small peck before pulling away.

"Do you mind letting me hold my daughter for a bit?"

Licking the spot he just kissed, Regina hummed. "Why, she's sleeping, and she's comfy. You'll have her later."

Biting down on a bigger smile, Robin scoffed. "Right…"

"Shut up."

"So how will we name her?"

"Oh shit." Groaning because this was something she almost forgot, Regina closed her eyes and cringed.

"Well there you are, one day old and you are already cursing in front of her. Give her to me."

Almost against her will, Regina handed the baby over, but only because there was nothing she liked better in the world than seeing Robin interact with their kids. The way his eyes would light was simply endearing, and there was no doubt in her mind that he was made for this…

"I'll say that if we want to keep with the R name thing, we should name her… Ruperta."

"Oh my God, Robin, no…"

Before he could reply, the door to the room opened and in a rush, the room was filled with a voice she has been missing too much.

"Mommy!" Before anyone could stop him, the little boy was almost jumping over the bed with her, and if it wasn't because Robin grabbed him before he could throw himself over Regina, he would have probably crashed hard against her.

"Jesus, Roland, what did I say about keeping it quiet." Ruby said as she walked in with Rylee in her arms; the girl resting her head over her aunt's shoulder while her thumb was unusually stuck in her mouth.

"Hey, hey… first of all, hello to you too and second, you have to be careful with your mum there."

"Is mummy hurt?" He asked, almost in a whisper as he set his sparkling eyes on her.

Trying to show her best smile, Regina reached for him, running her hand through his curls as he rested against Robin. "I am a little, so you'll have to be careful with me, can you do that?"

Nodding, Roland pouted.

"Now come here and give me some love."

The boy did, and filled with love as he lightly wrapped his little arms around her neck and gave her a sloppy kiss, Regina tried to make her middle child look at her. "How about you Rylee, want to come give me a hug?"

Not thinking it twice, the girl shook her head no, and instead, she extended her arms towards Robin. But then, she must have apparently spotted the newborn in his own arms because she quickly turned her head away and looked stubbornly over Ruby's shoulder.

"I think she's a little jelly, I tried to talk to her but ever since I told her she was a big sister, she has been acting like this."

Not surprised because her daughter after all had quite a temper, Regina bit on her lips. "Do you want to come and meet your sister?"

As if shaken, Roland pulled away from her and looked at Robin. "No… that my baby brother."

Snorting, Ruby walked towards the bed and placed Rylee over it. "Well this is going to be interesting."

Oh, Regina could only imagine, especially with Roland inspecting the creature in his father's arms and asking if that was his baby brother, and with Rylee looking at the ceiling as if she would rather be somewhere else.

Clearing his throat and sitting down so that his son could look at the baby, Robin sent her a furtive glance that pretty much read, oh shit. "It's a girl, so this is your sister, Roland."

"No, I'm having a brother." He said, almost as petulantly as Rylee would get at times.

Wincing, Regina tried to reach for Rylee instead of getting on it with Roland, running a hand down her back and through her hair. "Is there no love for me, Rylee? I missed you."

Turning her head towards her mother and looking at her all serious, the toddler blinked. Regina was sure she was going to right off the bat say no, but then she went and threw her arms around her.

She did it a little too hard and it kind of hurt her for a second, but she sucked into the discomfort and hugged her daughter back, kissing the top of her head and her cheek and then the top of her nose.

"I love you so much, baby, you know that right."

"Love too, mummy."

Completely in love with her family right there, Regina tried to push it a bit more.

"So you want to meet your sister now?"

Nodding and then pulling from her, the blonde girl slid towards Robin, trying to get a good look at the new member of the family.

She was interested for just a second though, because then she was going back to seeking refuge on Regina's arms.

By then, Roland was still in complete denial, even when Robin managed to sit him on his lap and put the baby over him.

"Seems like it's going to be just us, buddy."

"No… I wanted a baby brother. You said that."

"I know, but… it turned out it was a girl. That shouldn't matter though, because we are going to love her all the same, right?"

Apparently not convinced, Roland shrugged. He did however giggle when the baby started to wriggle.

"She's so tiny, come and look Rylee." Ruby said getting nearer. "Have you thought of a name yet? Because I totally think you should call her Ruby, like her favorite aunt. Right there, you precious little thing?"

Snorting, Robin looked at the woman who even though was not related to him by blood, was the closest thing to a sister he had. "No way, and you will only be her favorite aut by default, as you are the only one."

"True, but that doesn't take from me feeling good about it though. So will you do it, name her after me? It goes with your R name thingy and it would blow Granny's mind off."

"Before naming her Ruby, I would name her Robin, or even Regina, so don't get your hopes up here."

As if in cue, the baby started to squirm and then cry, making Roland don't want to have anything to do with her.

"Give her to me." Regina said at last, and once she was nursing her, her mind kept rolling on and on.

Looking up, she saw Robin and Ruby talking and laughing, Roland on the floor trying to jump high enough to grab a balloon that Regina didn't even notice was floating around, and Rylee sitting right by her side, watching the baby out of the corner of her eyes as Regina let her snuggle against her.

It was then that it came to her… how she was going to call her baby; and with it in her mind, she looked at everybody before going back to setting her eyes on the creature feeding from her.

"Robyn." She whispered, and when the baby opened her eyes and looked at her with a pair of blue eyes that reminded her of her husband and love of her life, Regina just knew that her life was finally complete...
