Naruto's P.O.V.

"The Land of Ebbies, it has this incredible sake, I've been doing some research, they infuse berries in it, it's supposed to be one of the highest quality in the world." My husband smiled, running his hand through his now mostly grey hair, still perfect as ever.

"That sounds amazing babe." He said going back to the meal he was cooking.

"Better than amazing! It's supposed to be like ten thousand dollars a bottle!"

Sasuke raised his eyebrow."Sounds expensive."

"Well duh." I said rolling my eyes at him. "Quality ain't cheep." I chuckled. Just then the doorbell rang.

"You're lucky I love you. Answer that please?" He said, kissing me on the cheek.

"I'm just saying, this vacation is going to be the best one ever." I said walking to the front door.

"You say that about every vacation, we have yet to have a bad one." I sighed and opened the door.

"Gramps!" My two twin granddaughters screamed, both leaping into my arms.

"Naruko, Satsuki." I said hugging them back. A tired looking Shikadai walked in trailed by Mikoshina glued to her iPad.

"Hey Dad." Shikadai said giving me a handshake, helping the girls inside.

"Hey son, Mikoshina." I said as she had yet to say hello.

"Tell your husband I don't want his job anymore." She growled, touching cheeks with me before walking inside.

"You're the only one in the entire world qualified to have it." Sasuke said from the kitchen.

"Why'd you have to make everything so advanced, security was easy before you came in and ruined it." She said giving Sasuke a hug.

"Oh how tragic, Mikoshina has to work hard." Sasuke teased. I got the girls set up at the table, but on their own tablets doing algebra problems I think, I'm not sure. They are way too smart for me, that's a fact. Ten years old, already have their sharingans and testing as gifted. Mikoshina and Shikadai sure have some good apples on their hands. The doorbell rang again as I poured Shikadai some sake.

"I got it." I said with a smile, going back to the front door. I opened it to Hima, Inojin, Himiko and Inotachi.

"Hey guys, come on in." Himiko and Inotachi ran inside, Inojin giving me a hug before coming in as well.

"Is my husband here yet?" Hima asked me, giving me a hug to.

"Hey, I thought I was your husband." Ino laughed. I mean legally his is, I suppose.

"Oh please, you're my wife Ino." Hima chuckled walking inside.

"Minatachi's always late you know that." Miko said hugging Hima.

"When Lee's on his own, he's never ever late. A real stand-up guy that one." Shikadai commented. They have been working together for years now. "But when he's with MT…"

"All hell breaks loose." Miko chuckled, stealing a sip of sake from her husband.

"No kidding, I needed him for a legal meeting for The Red Fan, had to tell him it was an hour earlier than it actually was. Still shows up ten minutes late." Hima balked.

"That's our husband for you." Inojin jested, helping Sasuke in the kitchen.

"Which reminds me, while I have you and your husband here, I need to expand Hurricane Hima's, I want to hire like four more staff attorneys and for that I need a bigger space, maybe even an office with a view… on the clan leader's side of the district of course…" Hima mused. Hima is an attorney, she won a ground-breaking lawsuit a few years back, now she's the most in demand attorney in the Land of Fire.

"No! No more building in my district. I already okayed your art gallery, your opera house, your this and your that. No more." Mikoshina said crossing her arms as Shikadai pulled out his map of the Uchiha district and spread it across the table. Sasuke and I looked on, holding each other. The rebuilding and expansion they've done over the past twelve years has been astounding. Impressive is an understatement. Metal Lee with his engineering and Shikadai with his strategic engineering planned it all. Rebuilt it from the ground up.

"That's not fair, we took on the food sector, and the business street. I deserve an office with a view."

"The Red Fan has a view. Maybe you should discuss it with my brother instead of yelling at me."

"The Red Fan is right on the line of your property and my property, that doesn't even count it's the only view we even have! I want my expanded office on fourth street."

"Where my rental rates are highest? Only if you pay me for it."

"As if, in changing my name to Uchiha, I don't have to pay you rent."

"Oh that's right Himawari Uchiha." Mikoshina teased.

"I don't like them fighting over property." Sasuke mused into my neck.

"They always do this, they fight, someone gives in, then everyone's happy. Have you been down there lately? The library is so beautiful."

"Well of course, our kids and their significant others built it, the whole district is more alive than it ever was at its peak."

"And it's only getting better."

"Lee and I still have one lot on fourth, we were going to build a high-rise office complex there anyway…" Shikadai said reluctantly.

"Perfect, I want the top floor!" Hima said.

"Not so fast, I was going to put a security hub there."

"And you can do that on the ground floor." More creative discussion ensued and the doorbell rang once more.

"I got it", I once again said, stepping around my large and boisterous family to answer the door.

"Hi Mr. Uchiha."

"Hey Dad." Minatachi said with his warm smile.

"Hey Lee, hey son. You're late."

"Always." Lee chuckled, letting go of my son's hand to give me a handshake before walking inside.

"Well you know, you guys moved all the way out here, it takes forever to get outside the city limits and everything from the Uchiha district." He muttered, not making eye contact with me before giving me a hug. I looked my son up and down. He seemed to be glowing today, he did look a bit pudgy under that blue sweater, however, and maybe a little in his cheeks. He and Lee are usually very fit and in shape. I guess what they said is true, you let yourself go once you get married. Sasuke and I have a bit too I must admit.

"I have a bone to pick with the two of you." Hima said as my children then gathered around the map and made negotiations. I checked on the grandkids and everyone seemed to be fine. Inotachi had pulled out a canvas we kept here for him, Himiko was playing hackie sack with one eye a sharingan, the other a bakyugan tracking it with an unmatched skill. She's really going to be something one day, whatever that something is. Probably an athlete like her father, but then again, maybe a world leader like her grandfather. If Naruko and Satsuki don't beat her to it. They're already a year ahead of Himiko and Inotachi in school even though they are almost three years younger.

"How's the food coming?" I asked checking on Sasuke.

"We're almost there. Have I ever mentioned how much I love this kitchen?"

"Every time you cook in it. I designed it just for you teme." I chuckled, kissing his hand affectionately.

"Dobe."

"Ewww gross, Gramps and Pops are being all nasty again."

"It's called love Naruko, something I wish your Uncle had for me." Hima rolled her eyes.

"I tell you I love you every single day, I even got you this expensive tennis bracelet remember?" Minatachi said kissing Hima's neck and showing the room her wrist. He then went over and kissed Inojin before going to the living room and seeing his kids. Minatachi is… polyamorous. The first pro soccer player ever to come out as such actually. By law he's married to Metal Lee; Hima and Inojin are technically, by law, married as well but… in reality, they're all married to each other… I think. No, that's not right… Lee isn't married to Inojin or Hima, but he's okay with it? Or something. I really don't know the complexities, and I'm a little terrified to ask. All I know is I've attended three of Minatachi's weddings, along with Hima and Inojin's wedding, no divorces, and he is very happy. So I suppose I'm happy for him. The kids are happy too, they have four parents, four times the love. They make it work incredibly well, living in an obnoxiously large mansion in the Uchiha district. If he's happy, I'm happy. Sasuke doesn't have a problem with it at all. Apparently, it's an Uchiha thing to have many wives. Madera had eight or something like that. I'm not sure. He said some clan traditions never die.

"Okay Uchiha Clan, dinner is ready."

"Daddy, this looks amazing, here let me help you. Girls." Mikoshina said as she started helping me and Sasuke, the twins hurrying to help as well. Within a few minutes we were all eating and enjoying this amazing meal my husband made. I poured the adults all a glass of wine and noticed Minatachi didn't touch his, handing it to Hima when she finished her first glass.

"Everything alright?" Sasuke asked, noticing as well.

"Oh yeah, fine." He lied. Even I could see through that one, last clan meal we had all together he nearly drank the whole bottle by himself.

"Trying to stay in shape for the upcoming season?" I asked, or rather get back in shape, he was sort of looking pudgy.

"Umm… actually." A blushed crossed his face. "I guess I should tell you guys first before the media gets wind of it."

"Tell us what?" Mikoshina said taking a bite.

"Well ummm… you know I've won six straight championships in the pro league. Five MVPs."

"Oh stop bragging and tell them." Inojin chuckled.

Minatachi rolled his eyes and Lee grabbed his hand. "Just tell them." Lee urged.

Minatachi cleared his throat. "I… am retiring from soccer."

"What?" Sasuke said in shock.

"You've only been playing for what eight seasons? No way you're done yet." I added.

Minatachi looked down. "Yeah, but you know… The Red Fan is really taking off… they need a full time CEO…" He skirted around.

"Oh, would you please tell them the real reason." Hima laughed.

"Yes, do tell MT." Mikoshina said, activating her sharingan, challenging Minatachi. He activated his back, getting some nerve.

"Yeah okay…" He squeezed Metal Lee's hand then looked at us. "The real reason I'm retiring is… is because…"

"We're having a baby! Minatachi's pregnant!" Metal Lee blurted out, excitement taking a hold of him. My jaw dropped. Another grandbaby. Another grandbaby my son is having. Before I knew it, I was hugging my son and sobbing.

"I'm so happy for you two!" I cried.

"Another grandbaby!" Sasuke said joining the hug.

"Congratulations!" Shikadai cheered, followed by his daughters.

"Thank goodness, I thought you were getting fat." Mikoshina laughed.

"Not fat, just pregnant."

"How far along are you?" I asked, putting my hand on my son's pregnant belly.

"Just past three months, we wanted to make sure it was for sure before we told you."

"Oh I'm so excited! Our first grandchild while we're retired. Sasuke! We have to cancel our trip! I want to be here for every second!"

"Dad!"

"Naruto, he's only three months along, we'll be back long before his feet even start swelling up."

"That happens?" Minatachi said with a look of dread. I went back to sit down next to my husband as we continued our meal.

"Oh yeah." Hima laughed.

"Big time." Inojin chuckled too.

"And then you'll never pee the same." Sasuke added.

"Or poop." I too added, with a laughed. Minatachi looked mortified, then glared at Metal Lee.

"Don't look at me." He chuckled. "You wanted this baby just as much as I did."

"I can't believe you're having a baby Tach. You were there for me through the postpartum hell I went through with the girls." Mikoshina said. It was hell. Mikoshina has the worst postpartum depression possibly in the history of the Uchiha clan. So much worse than Sasuke's. She couldn't get out of bed for months, we all took turns taking care of her, taking her to a therapist, making sure she got her meds. She cried all the time. But we got her through it, none of us were gonna let he slip through the cracks the way Sasuke did. When she was ready, she came back better than ever, ready to take on the world. She vowed never to have another child, we were all grateful she had twins, but we got her through it. The whole clan. Especially Minatachi, he stayed by her side day and night. Skipped his entire off season for soccer and the first few games. Apparently, it's why he didn't win MVP that year.

"Yeah well, I guess it's time to repay the favor big sis." Minatachi smiled at her.

"I have your back little bro." We all chuckled and continued eating, talking about all things baby, getting more updates on the grandkids. Mikoshina thinks the twins might start high school next year, start college as fourteen-year-olds. I honestly wouldn't be surprised. They got their sharingans six months ago and basically haven't stopped studying with them since. Himiko wasn't happy to hear about that, only having got her sharingan at thirteen about a month ago, but she's always had her bakugan to rely on and gets straight A's herself. Inotachi's the late bloomer like his father it seems. All he's ever cared about is his art. Still hasn't gotten his gift. Now with this new baby, I wonder who it will take after. One thing is clear however, I can't be more proud of my clan.

"So Dad, when did you say you two were going on your trip?"

"We leave in a couple of weeks, on the fifteenth, then we'll be gone for a little over a month." Sasuke answered to me.

"So then you'll be there for the dedication next week?" Hima asked.

"Another dedication? What building did you guys finish now?" I asked. They open a new building in the Uchiha district every other day it seems.

"This one is a surprise. Can I get your RSVP?" Mikoshina added.

"I'm not speaking." Sasuke said tiredly. "I'm no longer the clan leader, you are."

"I second that, and I'm not the president anymore either." I added, not wanting to speak at all.

"Okay what good is it having the president and the head of the Uchiha clan as in laws if you can't call on them to bless all your projects and get some publicity?" Shikadai said with a laugh.

"Is that all we are? Your prize ponies."

"Well… sort of. Which reminds me, The Red Fan actually needs you for a campaign we're working on. Federal prison aid." Minatachi said, his mouth half full.

"Oh that reminds me too Daddy, some kid called my office looking for you. He said you were friends with his father, Inari."

"Inari? Wow that takes me back. I should give him a call. What did his son want?"

"Prison reform. Specifically, supports for babies born in prison. I gave him yours and MT's numbers, He'll call you Monday." Mikoshina stated.

"Who's Inari?" MT asked.

"A friend. Since the Red Fan is expanding to other types of aid, maybe you can help him out."

"Yeah, maybe I can since I am the full time CEO now. I can do whatever I want." Minatachi said putting his hands behind his head.

"Is this what retirement is going to look like on you? Maybe after the baby you should go back to soccer."

"Not a chance in hell babe, I'm gonna get so fat, I'm so ready!" Minatachi chuckled, kissing Metal Lee on the cheek. Oh Minatachi. I chuckled.

"So we can count on you guys being there?" Mikoshina interrupted.

"Yeah… we'll be there." Sasuke said reluctantly, grabbing my hand and kissing it.

After dinner the Uchiha clan just, hung out with one another. The kids went out the back yard, playing and training their sharingans. Mikoshina, Inojin, and Metal Lee cleaned up the kitchen for us, while Sasuke and I drank with Shikadai and Hima on the couch. Minatachi held Hima close while making fun of how drunk she was, she made fun of how he couldn't drink at all. We had plenty of guest rooms and they all stayed the night. In the morning Sasuke and I woke up to fresh breakfast in bed made by our kids. Life was just perfect. The way it should be.

Sasuke's P.O.V.

"You always look so incredible in your clan leader uniform."

"I'm not the clan leader anymore, our daughter is, remember?"

"Yeah, try telling her that." Naruto said with a chuckle, kissing me on the cheek. "Your eyes are still stronger."

"Eh I have faith she'll awaken her rennigan too, one day."

"Either that or one of her children."

"I hope they don't fight for clan leader, not sure which one would win."

"I could see them sharing it, I'd be more afraid of what Himiko could do with her gifts."

"Oh yeah?"

"She's only had the sharingan in one eye for a short time, but it's fully formed, advancing daily."

"Can she be a clan leader being half Hyuga?"

"More like a quarter, but yes, she could be whoever she wants. They all can. With the way the clan is being rebuilt, they aren't bound to the rules of the old days."

"You seem pretty happy about that." Naruto said, brushing off my shoulders, with a big smile.

"Beyond."

"Our son's having a baby."

I felt my face light up. "Yes, he is."

"You're gonna spoil that poor kid to death, aren't you?"

"All of our grandchildren are equally spoiled by us. But if you don't see me for a while once the baby is born, you know where I'll be."

"Maybe we should take Mikoshina up on her offer and move into the guest house she built for us."

"Guest house? That place is bigger than our first home!"

"We did give them an incredibly large parcel of land, you should be proud that they're maximizing it."

"I don't think it's possible to be any more proud of my kids. They've done outstanding for themselves."

"Yes, they absolutely have." I pulled Naruto in close and kissed him deeply. Retirement so far has been wonderful, just me and him. Everything is… perfect. The way it should be. The doorbell rang, pulling my husband and I from our bliss.

"Were you expecting someone?"

"No, were you?" Naruto said tying his tie and we both made our way to the front door.

"Can't say that I was." I opened the door and was pleasantly surprised. "Juugo, Suigetsu, Karin! What are you doing here?" I said happily, hugging them all.

"We heard it was a special occasion, so we thought we'd come down." Juugo said handing me a bouquet of flowers.

"Special occasion? They're just opening a new building in the district or something like that."

"Yeah, big smiles, cutting the red ribbon, yadda yadda." Naruto said, taking the flowers from me and putting them in water.

"Wow, Mikoshina is really good at keeping you two clueless, isn't she?" Karin chuckled.

"Come on, the limo is outside, don't want to be late." Suigetsu smiled, leading Naruto and I outside. We sat inside the limo and I enjoyed my friend's company on the way back in town and into the Uchiha district.

"So… Inari's son contacted me the other day." Suigetsu said to me softly.

"He turned out to be a pretty good kid, didn't he?"

"All things considered… yeah. I know The Red Fan called dibs on prison reform. Your kid's charity is what trying to tackle every problem in the Five Nations?"

I smiled, "If that's what he wants, he will no doubt do it." Been pretty successful at it so far. Not many charities have accomplished as much as his has in such a short amount of time.

"Well, I'd like to partner with this kid, he's got some real ideas, stuff I'd really like to push through as well. And I want to do it. For Inari." Suigetsu said with a soft smile. I nodded, feeling the sentiment.

"I'm sure Minatachi won't mind, he has enough on his plate."

"Did you hear the good news?" Naruto asked snuggling up to me. They all gave us questioning looks. "We're having another grandbaby! Minatachi's pregnant!"

"Oh wow!"

"That's amazing!"

"Congratulations!"

"We're so excited. This one can't stop buying baby stuff online." I said poking Naruto.

"After we get back from our trip, it's gonna be non-stop baby, all day every day." Naruto confirmed.

"Poor kid's gonna be spoiled as hell."

"Well yeah, he's gonna be born into the new Uchiha clan. He's going to be loved so much." Karin said with a big smile.

"He most certainly is." I kissed Naruto and we continued to talk as the limo pulled up to the Uchiha district. There was… an unusual amount of people here. If I didn't know something was up before, I certainly did now. We got out of the limo and several cameras flashed, reporters talked to us. I wasn't sure how to answer their questions seeing as I had no real idea what was going on. So I just stuck to my usual answer of I'm proud of my kids and everything that they do. It wasn't a lie. We made our way to the front and Mikoshina was in her custom-tailored clan leader uniform, Minatachi in in a nice suit, fitted well to show his small baby bump, the Uchiha crest displayed proudly. He even tied his hair back in a messy ponytail, it almost reminded me a bit of Itachi. Their families were gathered around them, all dawning Uchiha fashion of their own.

"Dad, Daddy!" Mikoshina said excitedly, hugging us both tightly. We were then hugged by the entire Uchiha clan, huge smiles on their faces.

"You want to tell us what all of this is?" I chuckled, ruffling Inotachi's hair.

"You'll see soon enough, just stand right here, look amazing, smile." Mikoshina said, adjusting Naruto and I.

"You ready Miko?" Minatachi asked with a warm smile.

She nodded, "It's finally time." My two kids went up to the podium and everyone calmed down, just pictures flashing and murmurs of excitement.

"Hi everyone, thank you and welcome. We're so glad you could be here to join the Uchiha clan on this very special occasion." Mikoshina started. "We're here today to honor my father, Sasuke Uchiha, the greatest Uchiha I have ever known. My brother and I grew up with stories of the Uchiha clan, legends of the greatest Uchiha in existence, but we had never met another Uchiha other than my father. The clan was just… gone to us. This district was a graveyard, a wasteland, filled with nothing but my father's pain. My brother and I wanted to take his pain away, restore this place to its former glory and make it even better than it was."

Minatachi stepped up to the mic. "My sister and I have worked hard to grow the Uchiha clan and it's still growing." With a blush, he put his hand to his baby bump and smiled at Lee. The whole crowd instantly understood what he was implying and cheered taking pictures. "But none of this would have been possible without the sacrifices our father made. When it all seemed hopeless, he did everything he could to give my sister and I a better life. Historians of the future may look down on his choices with distain, shame, but to us, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for those choices. Things would have never turned out as amazing as they are now without him. We would have never restored the clan. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be the person I am today." Minatachi smiled at me. Mikoshina smiled too and stepped in.

"Which is why we would like to honor him and all of the Uchiha of the past. We pray they're looking down on us, smiling, guiding our paths to the future. To honor their memory and thank my father for his lifetime of hard work to get us here, we are proud to unveil the Uchiha Memorial Museum." With that, the curtain behind us was dropped, the ribbon cut. I looked back, and my knees weakened. There was a statute of me right at the entrance. I looked… wow.

"Mikoshina." I said quietly, as she hugged me, tears in her eyes.

"Thank you, Daddy, for everything."

"Thank you." Minatachi said, hugging me from the other side, Naruto hugging us all. Pictures flashed, Naruto took my hand as the Uchiha clan was the first to walk through the memorial. We walked inside and the amount of time and energy my children put into this. All the research and resources they used to acquire artifacts. Incredible. Without giving too much away from the Uchiha scrolls, they did a detailed look at all the great Uchiha. Wrote down stories, gathered artifacts and war memorabilia that had long been sold off or stolen. They… restored the legend of the Uchiha, memorialized it. It was so beautiful. They made a wall of all the Uchiha who were lost the day of the massacre. Their names written with each member's ashes. It was beautiful. At the end of the Museum, there were busts of my mother and my father… and Itachi. My heart warmed and I felt tears come to my eyes.

"What do you think Daddy?" Minatachi asked, wrapping his arms around me.

"Do you like it?"

"Oh Sasuke." Naruto said, realizing how moved I was, pulling us all into another group hug.

"I am so grateful to have you all in my life." So grateful my life turned out the way it did. I wouldn't change a thing. It's exactly the way it should be.
