A couple months later...
It was the day of the wedding for Pinky and Tim...
Katie was standing there outside of the wedding area that was set up out in the park. Now that Annie was no longer in trouble with the SPA Agency since Pablo is alive, she really wanted to bring her along during the wedding. It was the least that Katie could do after all that has happened months prior.
Along with her was Chaz, as well as Tim and Pinky's child sitting in his stroller, Tommy. Both she and Chaz were dressed a lot more formally than they'd usually be. Katie was wearing a dark blue buttoned-down shirt, with a black blazer and black dress pants, while Chaz was wearing a black blazer with a red buttoned-down shirt underneath, as well as black dress pants.
After a bit of waiting for Annie, Katie finally spoke up. "You know, dude..." Katie said. "...I'm happy that Pinky took my advice, and continued on with the wedding." The tomboy turns her head, looking behind herself at her boyfriend, who was kneeling down next to the stroller. "Am I right, Chaz?"
"Yeah." Chaz said, standing up from the ground. "I'm just so glad that Tim is finally a father now, as well as a husband. I thought that they'd not allow this event to happen at all, considering all the shit that has happened because of Crystal...and...the shit between Annie and the SPA Agency..." Katie nods her head silently, as she stared at the park's gate once again. "Speaking of Crystal...did you hear anything from her lately?"
"Well...all I can say is that me and her are not going to be on good terms for awhile. I was talking to her on the phone last night with her, and...as far as I'm concern, we're no longer friends." The tomboy looks down, kicking a pebble that was on the ground near her foot. "So...yeah...she said some things, I said some things, and...well, we mutually agreed that both of us need more time apart before we can be friends again."
Chaz frowned. "She's back in Simport, or..."
"She's back...but she's not coming to the wedding, like...at all. Crystal literately told me on the phone last night that she's back, but...she was unaware that the wedding was happening right now. She already said she wasn't going to come anyway, so...as far as I'm concerned...things are pretty much back to no longer being friends anymore." Chaz wraps an arm around his girlfriend.
"Damn, sorry to hear that, babe."
"It's alright...but...I feel like this was coming from a mile away."
After that was said, Chaz and Katie looked over to the gate to see both Odin and Annie entering the park. Both of them were wearing what they'd usually wear instead of what they'd wear at a wedding. The couple approached the tomboy and her boyfriend, ready to enter the wedding.
"Hey dudes, sorry we're late." Annie said. "Are Tim and Pinky ready to get married already?" Katie nods her head.
"They are ready." Katie said. "I thought I told you to find a dress to wear for this wedding."
"I know. But, dude...I hate wearing dresses. So me and Odin decided to dress causally instead." Annie looks over to the stroller that was right nearby the two. "Hey, is that Pinky and Tim's child?" Katie nods her head.
"Yep." Katie kneels down next to the stroller, before smiling at him. "Hey Tommy, I like you to meet Annie, and Odin, two friends of mine." Annie kneels down in front of the stroller.
"He's adorable." Annie waves at Tommy, as the little baby waves back at her. "So, where's the happy couple?"
"Tim's inside, Pinky should be coming right now."
"Alright then. Should we go in now?"
"Yeah. Vance should be saving us a sit along with Ginny and Pablo."
"Awesome." With all of that said and done, the four of them walked into the crowd of people who were sitting around, and waiting for the bride and groom to get together.
Meanwhile...
Sapphire was watching the event from a distance. Sadly, she, Candy, Zack, nor Amber were invited to the wedding, since Pinky and Tim weren't exactly friends with any of them. Also, the four of them were usually too busy anyway.
The party girl stood there, smiling softly to herself, before her girlfriend came walking over to her. Candy stared at the wedding that was out in the park, before placing a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder. Sapphire looks behind herself, seeing the blonde tomboy standing behind her.
"Oh, Candy. What's going on?" Sapphire asked.
"I was about to ask the same exact same thing to you." Candy said. "You just went over here when me, Zack, and Amber were still at the music store. What's up?" The party girl points towards where the wedding was in the park.
"Just seeing Pinky and Tim's wedding over there, that's all." The party girl looks over to the wedding once again. "Got to say, I like, knew those two were going to end up husband and wife one of these days. I like, knew it was going to be true, and now, there they are." Candy nods her head.
"Yeah. I see."
"Isn't it romantic, Candy?"
"Yeah."
The two stood there in silence. Both didn't really take their eyes off the car that was approaching the wedding, dropping off Pinky, who was wearing a light blue wedding dress, and holding a bouquet of dark blue flowers in her hands. The bride enters the wedding area, as Candy finally broke the silence.
"Hey, uh...Sapphire..." Candy said, as she slowly held onto her girlfriend's hand. Sapphire turns her head towards Candy, wondering what she's about to say. "...I just want to say that...I'm just so glad that the both of us remained together, despite whatever pressure came our way during those two weeks when...my dad and Amber came back into my life. I'm grateful for a lot of things in my life, but...probably one of the best things that I'm grateful for was...well..." Candy looks into Sapphire's eyes, smiling at her. "...Finding you."
"Candy, you tell me that a lot." Sapphire said, blushing and almost giggling.
"I know...but...really, that was like, the first time that...I ever saw two people who I...thought were gone from my life for good...once again, and both times, I thought I'd lose you because of one of them. But...I'm happy that you and I were together, pulling through it." Candy chuckles a bit. "I'm finally on good terms with my dad again, and...as for Amber..."
The two looked over to the store across the street. Zack was exiting the store, with Amber by his side. The two appear to be talking to each other, as well as laughing. It really seems like they are really becoming a couple as the weeks went by.
"...I'm happy that she found someone new." Candy said, finishing her sentence.
"They do seem pretty happy." Sapphire said, smiling at the sight of the couple across the street. The party girl looks back at the blonde girl once again. "I'm just glad that I was able to get those two together."
"You always say that to the people who end up being couples." Candy places a hand on her best friend's back, smiling at her once again. "Either way, I'm happy for them, and hope things go great for them in the future."
"Like, I totally agree with you, sweetie." Sapphire kisses Candy on the cheek. Candy held onto her girlfriend's hand, as the two of them across the street to meet up with Zack and Amber once again.
Back at the wedding...
Katie, Chaz, Vance, Ginny and Pablo took their seats in the group of people, as Tim stood there near the podium. Katie kept the stroller near her, as Tommy waves at his father from his spot. Tim waves back, and that's when the wedding actually began.
Pinky stood by the entrance of the small gathering, holding the bouquet of flowers in her hands, with her father by her side. The wedding music played, as the two walked down the lane, heading up to the podium where Tim was standing at. Once Pinky and her father made it up to the front of the podium, the father went back to his wife, as Pinky stood right in front of her soon-to-be husband.
The entire crowd went silent, as Pinky and Tim stood side by side, now facing the man at the podium. "We are gathered here today, to celebrate the marriage between these two people, Tim...and Pinky..." The man started off saying. "Before we continue, I would like to ask if anyone would like to say anything against this marriage, or forever hold your peace."
A couple moments of silence came about after that question was asked. It was pretty obvious just by the silence alone that nobody had anything against Pinky and Tim getting married at this point, considering all the hardships that it took to get to this very moment. After that moment of silence confirms that all of them had nothing to say, the man continued.
"Alrighty then." The man at the podium said. "It was told that these two has had a lot of pressure over the time of setting up this little event, but despite all the hardships that they had went through, they always had each other and their friends to keep them from being left down, when they really need somebody to help them, and when one of them needed a person by their side for comfort. Now along with their new-born son, Tommy, these two have finally decided that this marriage is going to be worth it for them."
Tim took a deep breath as the question was asked to his girlfriend first...
"Pinky..." The man said. "...Do you take Tim, as your lawful wedded husband, to cherish always, for better or for worse?" Pinky smiled, as she nods her head.
"I do." Pinky said. The man then turned to the blue-haired groom near the podium.
"Now, Tim, do you take Pinky, as your lawful wedded wife, to cherish always, for better or for worse?" Tim smiled.
"I do." Tim said, bowing his head. Tim looks over to the group of people who came here, seeing Chaz giving him a thumbs up.
"That's my dude." Chaz said, causing Katie to look towards her boyfriend, rolling her eyes at his comment.
"Don't ruin the moment for them, dude." Katie said.
"Very well then, then I pronounce you...husband and wife." Tim pulls out the wedding ring, placing it onto Pinky's finger. After that was done, the two looked at each other one last time, before the man spoke one last time. "You may kiss the bride."
Tim and Pinky closed their eyes, kissing each other on the lips, finally confirming their marriage together. Everybody in the group clapped their hands for Pinky and Tim, happy to see that they finally got themselves married. It was the happiest moment of their lives, that's for sure.
Seeing that Tim and Pinky were happy at last, Vance watched the married couple getting ready to leave, as the song 'I Love You, Always Forever' by Donna Lewis started to play on the radio in the wedding tent. Vance then wrapped an arm around his girlfriend, seeing that things really were happily ever after him and his friends.
Pablo stared at Vance with his arm around his former crush for a good few minutes. At this point, seeing the two together as a couple a lot more, Pablo is actually a lot happier seeing Ginny with somebody else, rather than with him. Granted, he still didn't have a girlfriend now, but he is still happy at the moment, and he really didn't want to try to think about dating for a bit. It seems like things were better this way right now.
It really seems like things were smooth sailing to him from now on.
