A/N: Hey! Thank you so much to everyone who is reading this story! I am going to try to update as soon as I possibly can. Also, it has been brought to my attention that Fleamont and Euphemia Potter died of dragon pox a few years prior but I wanted Hailey to have time with her grandparents so yeah. Please leave reviews with suggestions or feedback :)
Sirius woke up to an unfamiliar owl hooting on his window sill with a letter attached to its leg. Sirius untied the letter from the owl and the owl turned into a quill. Weird, who would want to send a transfigured owl? He wondered before reading the note. He read it over and over again, it did not make sense. It sounded like a person who knew the future but also knew him really well. Could it be a seer? But Sirius didn't know any seers and besides they don't even remember their predictions, how would they write a letter? And Regulus DEFIED Voldemort?! He was too scared to run away from their mother, how could he defy a psychotic serial killer who would most likely kill him as soon as he found out? Wait! That meant Regulus was in trouble! He needed to protect his baby brother. Sirius hurriedly got dressed and apparated in front of an all too familiar building. 12 Grimmauld Place.

Regulus was awake all night, he needed to do this. It was the right thing to do. He couldn't put it off any longer. Once the Dark Lord figures out that Regulus has figured out his secret, he will kill him without a second thought and the information will die with Regulus. Oh, how Regulus wished that he could see his older brother once more but it would put his life in danger and that was a risk Regulus was not willing to take. He was interrupted in his thoughts when a tiny owl flew through the window and landed in his lap. Regulus took the note off of the owl's leg and the owl turned into a paperweight. Regulus read the note, a horrified expression taking place instead of his sad one. Somebody knew he had figured out his secret! How had they known? And how did they know what happened in the cave? At least this person seems like they intend good. But he needed to do this. After what he had to do for Voldemort, he needed this as a chance for redemption. Regulus was interrupted from his thoughts once again but this time by a knock on the bedroom door. It must be Kreacher, he thought. He slid off his bed and opened the door.
It wasn't Kreacher.
It was Sirius.
Sirius hugged his brother right away, nearly choking him. Regulus hugged him back but with less enthusiasm.
"Oh! Thank Merlin, you're all right! The note, It made me so worried. I just had to see for myself that you were awake." Sirius exclaimed.
"You got a note too?" Regulus questioned.
Sirius pulled out his note from his robe pocket and showed it to Regulus.
"An owl, technically a quill transfigured into an owl, delivered it just this morning" Sirius explained. Regulus examined the note for a while before Sirius spoke again.
"What is this about Reg? Defied Voldemort? Did you really? I am so proud of you!" Sirius said.
"Yea, I didn't know what this was all about Siri. I thought it was a pureblood supremacist group. I didn't really want to join but Bella dragged me into it. It's crude! Bellatrix and her husband took me to a muggle street, saw a muggle and used the cruciatus curse on it for no reason. He didn't even see us. Bella was cackling and Lestrange was laughing. They made me join but I couldn't. Bella very clearly expressed her disappointment. I wanted to back out but it was too late and then last month The Dark Lord needed a house-elf and Bellatrix volunteered Kreacher. He used Kreacher and left him there to die! If I hadn't summoned him, Kreacher would have died. And then Kreacher told me everything. He has a Horcrux in this cave.." Regulus explained.
"A Horcrux!" Sirius exclaimed. He had heard of a Horcrux before of course. There were plenty of books in the black library regarding Horcruxes. Sirius remembered he had thrown up when he had accidentally read it once. He never stepped back into that library. Even for Voldemort, it was shocking not that it should be. That man was psychotic.
"Yes, I was going to go retrieve it and then destroy it but this note obviously is telling me that it would be pointless to do so," Regulus said.
"I think it's best we leave it Reg if this person doesn't want us to retrieve it then, we shouldn't" Sirius reasoned "If I had to make a guess, I would say he or she is a time-traveller and they know what they are doing. We shouldn't interfere with their plan."
"I think you're right Siri but I don't want to serve him. I want to join forces against him. I want to fight alongside YOU."
"Reg, if you openly defy him, he WILL kill you and I will NOT lose you again. I think it would be better if you stayed hidden. We can go to Dumbeldore tomorrow and get advice from him."
"That old coot?" Regulus questioned
"Yes, he may be an old coot but he is a powerful and wise old coot. He will know what to do." Sirius concluded.

The next day Sirius and Regulus visited Dumbeldore in his office. They chose not to tell Dumbledore about the Horcrux because they knew that Dumbledore would more than likely interfere. They told him everything else. In the end, Dumbledore suggested that Regulus should go into hiding as he couldn't spy against Voldemort because his Occlumency shields were no match for Voldemort's Legilimency skills. Regulus and Sirius accepted the advice and Regulus went into hiding.

A few days later...
Dumbledore was pacing his office. The Order was getting a lot of mysterious tip-offs. First, they caught 4 death eaters (Dolohov fleed) who had tried to attack the Prewett twins. Then they caught 4 more who had tried to attack Emmeline Vance and Dorcas Medows. If they hadn't received the information, the order members would likely be caught off-guard. Then there was Sirius and Regulus, both of whom had received notes too. There was obviously someone who knew a lot more than the rest of them and that bothered Dumbledore greatly. He liked and was used to knowing and having control over things. He didn't have to power this time, however.

A few months had passed, Hailey had continued sending out letters and so far she had avoided all casualties that she knew of. And the situation was getting better as the death eaters were also caught. The Potters had decided that it was best that Dumbledore became their secret-keeper which Hailey was grateful for. She knew how Voldemort thought. He would definitely go after Sirius. Hailey had, of course, placed a charm on Sirius so she would know when he was in danger. Other than that, she enjoyed being a normal child. She not only had parents but Grandparents as well who adored her. She would spend all day occupied by someone. Remus and Sirius came by very often. Hailey figured out that Regulus and Sirius had not gone to retrieve the locket by looking into Sirius's mind. Her plan was working quite smoothly.

Hailey's First Birthday….
Hailey was over the moon about her first birthday. By now she had already started walking and speaking "baby". She liked that she could somewhat communicate and move around freely without anyone questioning her abilities. This birthday party was a lot different than the one Lily had described in her letter to Sirius. Most likely because they lived in Potter Manor and not their cottage in Godric's Hollow. Hailey's Grandmother and mum had baked her a huge chocolate cake. The McKinnons were also here as they were best friends with the Potters and had not died this time around. They also had a daughter who was a few years older than Hailey. Remus was also here this time (most likely because they no longer suspected him of being a spy for Voldy), Sirius had made it this time too. They had a blast the whole day! Hailey was glad that Sirius had brought her a broom this time around as well. She was bored of all of those toddler games and although the broom only lifted a few feet off the floor, it was much better than anything else she had received. Her dad was practically jumping with excitement when he saw Hailey's skill on a broom. He let out a snitch. It was very slow and only hovered a few feet above Hailey, It was lots of fun. Everybody was cooing at Hailey as she zoomed around the room. That's when Hailey decided she wanted to go faster, she picked up as much speed as her toddler broom would allow her. She started bumping into people and everybody was laughing. James tried to run after her but she made a sharp turn, causing James to trip over his own feet. He fell on the floor laughing his head off. Mumbling something about making her a chaser. Hailey spotted her grandma taking lots of photos. Finally, she was tired and slowed down. James was quick to pick her up off the broom and Hailey tried to squirm her way out of her father's grasp. Ugh! She was trapped. Hailey decided that the best course of action would be to start bawling and so that is exactly what she did. James looked utterly confused and handed the baby over to Lily. Lily sat Hailey down on the sofa. Hailey stopped crying, jumped off the sofa and mounted her broom again. Laughing so hard that there were actual tears coming out of her eyes as James began his chase again this time Sirius, Remus and Lily joined. Hailey tried escaping but a toddler broom would only take her so far. They cornered her and tickled her, showing no mercy. She couldn't remember ever being so happy.
A/N: This is a very long and eventful chapter. Hopefully, liked it. I haven't decided what will be in the next chapter so feel free to leave suggestions on what you would like me to do. I will be adding lots of Hailey and Family moments before she starts Hogwarts. I am so grateful for everybody who is following the story. Thank you :)
