"This is ridiculous." Peter rolled his eyes as he stood outside of Stark Tower, waiting for the rest of his classmates to arrive. Ned laughed softly at his best friend's obvious discomfort.

"Why were you here so early, Penis?" Flash sneered. He had arrived moments after Peter had, only Peter had arrived from within the tower as opposed to outside. "Bribing people to keep up the internship lie?"

"You talk a lot for a guy who literally had his ass handed to him like a week ago." MJ scoffed as she walked up to the group, draping her arm lazily over Peter's shoulder.

Flash huffed and wandered off to join their instructors.

"I think he saw me coming out of the tower." Peter moaned.

"So?"

"So, so much for lets keep Peter's life under wraps I guess." Peter said.

"Its not like it'll be a secret forever." MJ said.

"Oh my God." Ned said breathlessly, "Can you imagine how Flash will react when he finds out?"

"Ugh." Peter groaned.

"Alright guys!" Mr. Lee called, beckoning the various groups of teens over to a central location. "Everyone's here so we're going to head on in. I just want to remind everyone to be on their best behavior- not only are you representing Midtown but yourselves. Don't forget Stark Industries is a highly coveted location for both careers and internships. You want to make a good impression if you want to get your foot in the door."

A murmur traveled through the herd of teens as there was a collective action if shirt tugging and hair fixing.

...

"What on earth are you wearing?" Pepper raised her eyebrows, looking up from her computer as Evie walked into the office carrying two coffees.

"Uhh," Evie glanced down at her outfit, "aren't jeans business casual? Dad wears them."

"Your father is not an example to follow." Pepper rose from her desk and circled the girl. Taking in the messy ponytail, ripped jeans, boat neck blouse, and muddy sneakers, not business casual at all. "The shirt works. You cannot wear those pants. Did you forget we're meeting with the architects today?"

"Shit."

"Go home. Put on the mustard pants you like, brush your hair, get a new pair of shoes- brown heels or flats, and a sweater, jewel tone. And hurry up." Pepper pushed the teen out the door and towards the elevator.

...

The lobby of Stark Industries was beautiful. It was a large airy space with massive windows going up multiple stories as floors and floors of balconies looked down below into the lobby.

"Midtown!" A young security guard clapped her hands directing the attention towards her. "Hi! I'm Louise Prescot and I'm a member of the security staff here at SI. I'm going to make sure everything is in order so you guys can get on your way!"

The room buzzed with excitement as Louise began to pull key card lanyards out of a small box and lay them out on the security desk.

"Alright! I've got all your badges here. Come up and grab the one with your name. If you do not see your name on a card come see me. Its probably nothing and we're just missing a signature or something.

The students eagerly each draped their newly acquired badges around their neck. Peter retrieved his own badge from his wallet and as he clipped the card to his shirt he said a silent prayer of thanksgiving for Happy. The man had insisted upon each of the children getting badges despite their biometrics being registered with FRIDAY, Peter supposed that he had received one too many call from a good samaritan employee about unattended children in restricted areas.

"Everyone has a card?" Louise asked, the group gave a collective affirmation allowing her to proceed. "Ok! Great, so you guys are going to head out as soon as your guide, Liam, I think, gets down here. But before anything we need to go over some rules. The papers you signed touched on this first one, but no pictures. Liam will tell you if you're able to take a picture somewhere, but assume not, doing so will result in being asked to leave and having a fun chat with our lawyers. Secondly, please remember that this is a workplace. Our employees are here to work, they will let you know if they are able to talk to you about their project but some might not, its not anything personal, but remember to please be respectful and keep your volume appropriate. Everyone always wants to know if they'll see the Avengers or Mr. Stark and I can't say for sure but we ask that if you do, please remember that this is their space, and again to be respectful and if they aren't able to talk that's that."

The group gave a collective groan as Peter slunk behind MJ who shook softly with silent laughter.

"On a similar subject. Mr. Stark's children are sometimes on company floors, if you read over your NDA you might have noticed a clause relating to the identity on the Stark family or anyone else you encounter. We ask that any personal information you might uncover about the Starks or anyone else remain private, if you do sell or leak information to the press about anything the Starks reserve the right to take legal action."

"Hey everyone, I see Louise has covered all the boring stuff." A young man entered the lobby with a wink. "I'm Liam and I'll be your tour guide. I've been with SI for three years and I work up in marketing. I'm pretty sure that means you guys are way more sciencey than me but that's why its awesome that you're here."

Liam beckoned the group to start following him as he headed across the lobby.

"Stark Industries has a state of the art security system, FRIDAY. She's Mr. Stark's personal AI and is monitoring us now. So, please keep your badges on and stay with me. Say hi FRIDAY?"

"Hello Midtown High School." Friday's voice came through the ceiling, "welcome to Stark Industries."

The students and teachers began to chatter excitedly as Liam led them up a small set of stairs to a level overlooking the lobby.

"This is our mini museum. We are actually in the middle of planning a remodel for this area so if anything looks a bit out of place that's probably why. But, if you look down this way-" he gestured to his right, "- you'll see a collection of Stark Industries' greatest hits so to speak, all the stuff we've made throughout the years as well as some interesting articles and photos. To your left though is a bit about the Avengers, since this does still technically serve as one of the Avengers' bases. There's a little bit about each of the Avengers as well as the construction of the various Iron Man suits. Take your time and look around."

The students scattered through the large hall, staring into large glass cases and talking to one another.

...

"Can you grab that tablet baby?" Pepper called over her shoulder.

Evie jogged slightly, trading her aunt the StarkPad for a coffee as the two headed to the lobby. She tugged at one her newly braided hair only to have her hand swatted away by Pepper.

"I just did those. Please don't mess them up until after this meeting." Pepper said as she scrolled through her notes.

"Do you know where Peter's field trip will be?" Evie asked rocking on her heels as the elevator descended.

"Not offhand. You can ask security." Pepper looked up. "Please don't fuck with them though. I finally convinced your father that pranking the group was a tad childish."

Evie giggled and drowned the rest of her coffee as they reached the lobby.

"Hi Louise," Pepper greeted the smiling security guard. "Has anyone from Wooster and Sons Architecture Firm arrived yet?"

"Not yet Ms. Potts. I'll let you know as soon as they show up."

"No bother." Pepper smiled. "We will wait down here."

"Hey Miss Stark?" Louise called, beckoning Evie.

"What's up?" Evie rested her elbows on the front desk with a grin.

"Was your brother with the field trip this morning?"

"Mhm. Stupid right?"

"Definitely weird. I could have sworn I saw him but he wasn't on any of the badges I put out for everyone but now that I think about it Mr. Hogan probably didn't want to double print one."

"Yeah. Morgan and I had discussed wreaking some havoc but as you can see a damper has been put on that plan." Evie said gesturing towards her aunt with a dramatic sigh.
