You asked for some more Rizzles moments, you get some in this chapter, you're welcome. Let's see what happens now, shall we?

Maura made it back home, greeting the twins and Frost, noticing that Jane wasn't on the couch like she pictured her being when she arrived home. "What did the three of you do with Jane?"

"Why do you think we did something with Jane?" Frost asked. "She went to go take a nap before you came home, we were waiting for you to come home before we ate dinner. The twins didn't want to eat without you and we all know how Jane is when she gets hungry."

Maura nodded, "Yes, that we do. I'll go get Jane, has Cailin come home yet?"

Frost inwardly sighed at Maura mentioning her sister. "Actually she decided to go back to live with Hope, I guess lunch with her mother made her miss her or something. She said don't worry about her and she'll keep in touch," he was glad Cailin told him what to say when Maura asked about her.

"Oh well that's a shame, was hoping she'd be able to stay here while Jane recovers. Guess Angela has to come over more."

Frost chuckled, "Yeah she'd totally love that."

"Let me go summon my wife," Maura smiled before heading to the guest house. She looked at Jane who was sleeping peacefully, she remembered their phone call earlier and smiled. This was the perfect opportunity to tease Jane. Maura softly sat on the bed making sure not to wake Jane quite yet. She figured Jane would find her cruel but she was the one who hung up on her.

Maura rested her hand on Jane's leg, slowly moving up towards her thigh. Jane shifted slightly, scrunching up her nose, causing Maura to stop her hand for a moment, making sure Jane was still again before treading slowly. Maura didn't get much further when Jane grabbed her hand opening one eye. "What do you think you're doing?"

"You weren't supposed to wake up yet."

"I woke up as soon as you opened the door, you're not very sneaky babe," Jane smirked, letting go of her wife's hand. "You're such a tease."

"Well you hung up on me."

Jane laughed, "Really, is that your reason for wanting to tease me?" she slowly sat up. "God my back is killing me."

"I can give you a back massage later, but for now it's time for dinner."

"You know what else would help? A nice soak in the tub. You can join me if you'd like," Jane spoke warmly to Maura as she helped her into the wheelchair. "You know, you're much stronger than Frost, I swear he almost broke a sweat maneuvering me to the bed," Jane paused. "That sounded odd."

"Just a little," Maura smiled, wheeling Jane into the main house where she placed her at the table, the twins and Frost joining them after they set the table. Jane had to remind Todd to eat slow before they even started eating dinner. He nodded, knowing to not mention the cake, still very excited to surprise Maura.

There wasn't much small talk during the dinner, everyone was enjoying the food that Frost made, Jane was so grateful for her friend being here and he seemed really content. She knew the stress of everything was wearing him down, he actually seemed like himself, something she hasn't seen in months. Maybe she was right in saying that he doesn't need a Rizzoli.

Soon the twins helped Frost clean the table before they went to go get the dessert, leaving Jane and Maura alone for a moment. "I think we might need to keep Frost around, I must admit he almost cooks better than Angela."

"Don't let Ma hear you talking like that Maura? We do not need her being all competitive with Frost and she'd cook you everything in the world to prove your comment wrong," Jane drank her water.

"I said almost Jane."

"Yeah well Ma would take that as, I must do better, don't you know that by now?"

"I know where you get it from," Maura squeezed Jane's hand. "We just won't tell Angela what I said then."

"Good idea," Jane smiled, linking her fingers with Maura's. She wouldn't give this up for anything in this world. She could never get enough of alone time with her best friend. The moment was over as the twins came out with the cake they made with Frost. The twins both had smiles on their faces holding both sides of the plate and Jane leaned back in her chair.

"We made you a cake Maura," Todd grinned and Maura sat up straighter in the chair.

"You made me a cake?" Maura smiled warmly at the two, they put the cake down in front of her. She felt her eyes water reading what they wrote. Congratulations on getting your job back. We're all proud of you.

"Todd had the idea and Uncle Frost helped us make the cake and told us how to spell Congratulations," Kate explained.

"Well I thank you both for thinking of me. It's very thoughtful of you both," Maura moved to give both of the kids a hug. "Thanks for helping them Frost."

"Hey it's not a problem, I helped since Jane physically couldn't," Frost got the cake knife and handed it to Maura. "You want to cut it?"

"Sure, what piece do you kids want?"

"Maura, it's your cake, get your piece first," Todd bounced on the balls of his feet and Maura did so. The inside was colored in red, purple and pink layers, evenly spread out. "We thought your cake should be colorful."

Jane was very impressed by this, "How did you get all the layers the same amount?" Jane asked, leaning in.

"Just luck, I guess," Frost shrugged.

"Don't be so modest Frost, this is great. You should enter one of those baking shows. You'd definitely take first prize," Jane took some frosting off of the cake with her finger, causing Maura to lightly smack her hand away.

"Don't touch the cake with your hands Jane," she lightly scolded.

"Yes ma'am," Jane saluted her before Maura handed a plate to her. "I'm serious though Frost, this is amazing."

"Thanks I'm just good in the kitchen. I learned a lot from my mother when my dad was working and traveling," he sat down at the table with the twins next to him.

"Well I for one think you're bloody brilliant," Jane grabbed a fork and started to eat the cake. The twins shared a look, smiling at Jane's reaction.

"We did help to you know Jane," Kate crossed her arms and pouted.

"Of course you two did, I know that," Jane smiled warmly at the twins. "You did a great job mixing the ingredients and writing with frosting. My mother never let me write with frosting when she made cakes. Did you guys pick out the colors of the inside too?"

"Yeah, we did," Kate smiled, finally getting recognition for her and her brother's part in the cake before continuing eating.

There was some silence that passed before someone knocked on the door. "Were we expecting any more visitors?" Jane asked looking up from her empty plate.

"Not that I'm aware," Frost shrugged.

"I'll go get it," Maura got up from the table and went to go open the door. "Frankie, it's nice to see you take up my offer of coming over."

"I, yeah it wasn't my plan, can I talk to you about something, it's important," he shifted on his feet, Maura wasn't exactly sure why he seemed to have his nerves shaken.

"You can come in if you'd like, we're just having dessert."

"I, it's better to discuss this outside," Frankie spoke, silently begging her, especially since he knew Frost was inside. Maura nodded and slipped out, closing the door partially. "I didn't know where to go, or who to talk to, but I needed to tell someone. Can we sit?" he asked, taking a seat on the porch steps, waiting for Maura to sit next to him, which she did after a moment.

"What's wrong Frankie?" she was very concerned about his off behavior.

"Crowekissedme," Frankie muttered and Maura looked at him confused.

"Want to try that again?" she asked, wanting to help, but he had to calm down.

Frankie ran a hand through his hair, "Crowe hit on me and he kissed me. I'm pretty sure he was drunk but I couldn't quite tell."

Maura looked up at him in complete surprise, "Wait Crowe kissed you?"

Frankie nodded, "It was odd he was at the Dirty Robber drinking to celebrate that he gets to come back to work tomorrow. He was telling me how I go for the wrong people and he placed his hand on my leg. Saying how he sees me go through relationships and that they don't appreciate me. I didn't believe what he was saying, he left the bar and I followed him out. I tried to call BS on his behalf but a kiss like that doesn't lie. I told him we'd talk about it tomorrow, when he was sober, he claimed he wasn't drunk though. And I'm sort of freaking out I'm not exactly used to people coming onto me like that. I mean I like feeling wanted, but it's Crowe and I don't know how I feel about that."

"That's a lot to take in, I can see why you're freaking out. Have you ever gotten any clues from him before tonight that he was interested in you? If he was drunk like you believe, it usually happens something getting said because deep down there was something buried and it comes out onto the surface much easier."

"I honestly had no idea Maura, not even a little inkling. Maybe he had some sort of epiphany when he was out of work, he did mention how he spent his time being alone. So maybe it could be that he's lonely, I can't tell. I don't even know if I want to talk to him tomorrow about it, or just avoid the whole thing. I was already nervous enough wanting to talk to Frost and get our friendship back, and now this thing with Crowe, it's so overwhelming. He's seen me all the time after break ups and how it affects my work, like how much has he been noticing from the sidelines, and why now bring it up?"

"These are questions you should probably ask Crowe, wouldn't you think?"

Frankie slumped his shoulders, " Yeah, I guess so, I just... I didn't know who to turn to."

"Well I am truly sorry that I can't be more help."

"No need to apologize, you're the only one who I could talk to who wouldn't judge or look at me or Crowe any differently. I thank you for listening, I should go now," he stood up and helped Maura up off the step.

"You sure you don't want to stay, the twins would love it if you were here. Frost seems to be in a good mood tonight. Maybe being here can help clear your head of the Crowe thing so you won't be worrying about it too much."

Frankie thought for a moment and nodded, "I-yeah maybe I will come in, just for a little bit. You sure Frost will be okay seeing me?"

"I think he will be fine, especially if you remind him that you will always be a friend to him. It's better than making things awkward in the long run, you both could always use each other as a friendly shoulder," Maura spoke warmly as she went inside with Frankie. "Look who decided to join us," she made herself known in the dining room, causing Frost and Jane to look up.

"Hi Jane, Frost," he gave them a nod.

"Did you want some cake? Frost and the twins made it for me today," Maura offered the Rizzoli and he shook his head.

"Maybe later," he sat down across from Frost. "What a colorful cake," Frankie decided to make small talk, Maura sat back down next to Jane, who glanced at her wife for a moment, silently asking if this was a good idea. Maura patted her hand in reassurance.

"Me and Kate picked the colors out Uncle Frankie," Todd smiled and Frankie nodded.

"Kate and I, you mean dear," Maura corrected and Todd scrunched up his nose.

"You didn't know we were making you a cake."

"She was just correcting your grammar," Jane told the boy and rolled her eyes at her wife. "You'll learn that one day in school. Don't let her confuse you," she smirked, winking at Maura. Maura glared at her wife, crossing her arms, causing Jane to take some icing off the plate with her finger and wiping it on Maura's nose.

"Jane, you're such a child," she grabbed a napkin and wiped it off her face.

"That was for earlier Maura," Jane winked again. "And you don't waste good frosting."

Frankie and Frost shared a look, smirking at Jane's shenanigans, "Did you want us to leave you two alone?" Frost asked and Jane looked up blushing, forgetting for a moment that people were here.

"I- no, sorry," Jane apologized. "But since Maura and I," she emphasized, "are done with this, she has to help me get ready for bed. Did you both mind getting the twins ready for bed, we can all have a movie night when Maura and I come back inside." She thought it was a good idea to have her brother and Frost spend time with each other and the twins to hopefully get their friendship back on track.

"Not at all, I think we can manage," Frankie nodded. "Right Frost?"

Frost looked between Jane and Frankie and nodded, "Yeah that sounds like a simple task."

"Good, come on Maura," Jane wiggled her eyebrows before starting to head to the guest house. Maura gave the four one last glance before following Jane. "Do you think Frost and Frankie will be alright?" Jane asked as soon as Maura entered the room.

"Yeah, Frankie mentioned missing Frost and their friendship. They'll be fine, Frankie coming inside was the first step towards them making amends. So, you ready for that back massage?" Maura asked, helping Jane out of the wheelchair and onto the bed. She laid Jane down who nodded, Maura removed Jane's shirt and Jane rolled over so her face was facing the mattress.

Jane waited patiently for a moment before Maura started rubbing at her shoulder blades, gently enough not to put a lot of pressure on Jane's tightened muscles. "How's that feel?"

"Amazing," Jane muttered, closing her eyes,

enjoying Maura's hands on her body. She groaned as Maura moved her hands down slightly and pressed a kiss on the back of her neck. "That feels good," she whispered.

"Yeah?" Maura continued kneading her fingers against Jane's back.

"Definitely," Jane moaned, "God, you're amazing."

"I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself. Maybe I should change my career and be a masseuse for a living."

"And have you touch other people besides your wife, I'm not down for that," Jane told her. "I only want your hands on me."

"Jane, I examine dead people and their cause of death, that's very hands on, you realize this right?"

"Well that's different, they're dead. They don't get aroused, they have no emotions and quite frankly they aren't warm," Jane lightly argues. "No touching alive people then, that clarified better?"

"Nobody likes a smart ass Jane."

Jane laughed, "Yeah, well, you're in love with one, your theory is off babe."

"You know exactly what I meant Jane Rizzoli," she stopped her hands for a moment.

"Hey, why'd you stop?"

"Just contemplating if I should continue massaging you, I might not if you continue this rude behavior."

"Aww come on babe, don't be so cruel," Jane wasn't quite sure if Maura was joking or not. She turn her head slightly much to her discomfort, but she seen Maura smirking. "You're such a fucking tease. Pretty please can you continue?"

"Well, I guess since you asked so nicely," Maura started to move her hands again. "Better?"

"Much better," Jane grinned and placed her face back against the mattress. She felt Maura's hands continue to trail lower down her back, continuing her kisses as well. "Shit," she muttered, feeling the heat between her legs. "You're making me wet Maur," she admits. "Isn't that against protocol I'm supposed to be healing."

"I'm a doctor Jane, I know what I'm doing," she nipped her lips against Jane's ear, slowly taking off Jane's pants and underwear. She let one of her hands run against Jane's inner thigh, "As long as you're not on your back you should be fine. Would you like for me to continue?" she asked in a husky whisper, driving Jane crazy.

"God yes Maura, fuck me," she begged, causing Maura to smile.

"Whatever you do just don't turn over," Maura's hand rested against Jane's crotch, letting her thumb gently rub against her entrance. "You are very wet indeed."

"Don't be a tease," Jane mumbled and Maura kissed her shoulder before sliding a finger into her slick folds. "God..." she closed her eyes. "Maura," she groaned, biting her lip as Maura slowly began fucking her with her finger, pumping in and out of her, harder at each thrust. "Oh mother fuck..." she managed to breath out. "Fuck, me."

"I am," Maura replied, inserting another finger, picking up the pace. "Are you doing okay?" she asked and Jane nodded, clenching her jaw, feeling herself tighten around her fingers as she curled them.

"Oh I'm almost... there!" she shouted, the orgasm taking over her body as she released around Maura's fingers. Maura felt Jane tremble slightly below her, feeling Jane's juices warm on her fingers as she pulled out. Sucking the juices from her fingers. "You're such a naughty doctor," Jane spoke huskily after catching her breath.

"I think I'm ready to give you that bath now," Maura stood up from the bed, stripping out of her own clothes before helping Jane off the bed.

"I think I should return the favor first, don't you?" she looked up and down at her wife's naked body.

"You can return the favor when you're healed. You'll owe me a lot."

Jane grinned, "Is that a promise?"

"We'll see," Maura winked before they headed to the bathroom, Jane in the wheelchair as Maura got to tub filled up with bubbles and warm water.

"I like my view, what'd I give to eat you out right about now, give Frost's cake and dinner a run for his money on a level of tastiness," Jane licked her lips, admiring how Maura looked when she bent down to check the bathwater's temperature.

Soon Maura helped Jane in the tub before sliding in herself, across from her wife, "I should have bought some wine in here, really get us relaxed."

"Too bad I'm on meds or else I would agree with that suggestion," Jane leaned back and closed her eyes.

Maura admired her Jane, "So, did you enjoy the rest of your day?"

"Yeah, it was alright," Jane nodded, not wanting to bring up the Cailin stuff that came up, but once Maura asked 'How did Cailin seem before she left to go back to Hope's', Jane tensed up. "She seemed alright to me."

Maura noticed Jane's posture change from relaxed to tense, "Jane, is she okay? If something is wrong you can tell me, you don't have to hide if she seemed depressed. She seemed pretty sure she'd stay here to help you, so when Frost said she went back home I couldn't help but feel a little worried."

"She's still trying to cope with things Maura," Jane said trying to get the subject off of Cailin. She still wasn't completely sure how to talk about what Maura's sister confessed hours ago, Maura didn't seem to want to drop the subject.

"I wish she knew that we were here to help her, you know? We're family and I'm sure I could have helped in someway. I know she can talk to you, you could help each other out a lot."

"Maura, she needs to work it out on her own. Do we really have to discuss your sister while we're in the bathtub?" Jane frowned and Maura sighed.

"I guess not, but I am worried."

"I know you are, and babe it's sweet how much you care but I can't help her with this problem. Neither of us can help her, we're not professionals in this kind of stuff."

"Okay. I'll drop it, I don't know why you're getting so upset," Maura looked down and Jane sighed.

"Come on Maura, don't do this. I just... I don't want you upset, but it seems like I did what I didn't want to do. I just... I can't discuss this babe." Jane looked at her wife with sad eyes. "You just have to talk to her."

Maura nodded, "Alright."

Jane scooted over towards Maura, lifting her head up so she could look in Maura's eyes. "Please don't be mad at me."

"I'm not mad Jane, I promise. We should finish our bath now, the twins will be concerned why we're taking so long and I really don't want to explain the birds and the bees," she paused at her words, "Dear God Jane, you realize we'll have to have that conversation with the twins one day."

"I'm sure you'll explain it so well with your scientific Google mouth they'll be scared shitless to ever have sex."

"So, you'll leave that important talk for me?"

"They have sex ed classes Maura, they'd probably teach it before we think they're ready to hear the talk," Jane smiled.

Jane and Maura finished up their bath, drying off and changing into their pajamas before they headed back inside. The twins were on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, Frost and Frankie weren't sitting together but they looked content and there was no tension. Jane and Maura joined the twins and Frost on the couch.

"How long does it take for you two to get ready for bed?" Kate looked up. "It took Todd and I five minutes," she held up five fingers.

"Well it would take five minutes but since I'm in this wheelchair it takes much longer to assist me. I can be quite difficult at times," Jane told her. "So what movie are we going to watch?"

"Toy Story 2, it's our favorite Toy Story movie," Todd told her and Jane smiled.

"You know, it's mine too. Buzz Lightyear is such a good friend in this one," Jane nodded and snuggled up next to Maura, thinking just how nice this was. She felt so relaxed right now. Jane just hoped that this feeling would stay this way for a long time.

Frankie had ended up staying the night at Jane and Maura's house, joining them for breakfast before he slipped out. Maura wasn't on call until later, so he knew they'd be fine before their mother came over with Korsak to help with Jane and the twins. He still couldn't wrap his head around the situation with Crowe, quite curious of how things would be at work. To be honest he was dreading it, still not knowing what to believe or what he himself felt. He never seen Crowe as anything except an arrogant co-worker but he seemed to have softened up since Jane became Sargeant Detective. Even broke some rules to help Maura out with the Dean situation.

Frankie was grateful that him and Frost were friends again after their argument yesterday, he noticed how happy Frost seemed being unattached to anyone. He thought maybe it was best they ended their relationship before things got more serious. Frankie was a little angry about the whole thing, not everyone could date their best friend though he came to realize.

Frankie walked into the precinct just as Crowe was exiting Cavanaugh's office. Crowe didn't say anything as he made his way to his desk to sit down. Of course he'll avoid me, he thought to himself. "Crowe, what was that about?" Frankie crossed his arms approaching his desk.

Crowe glanced up at Frankie, "Just confined to my desk, imagine that. I come back and he tells me I'm strictly on desk duty. Make sure I stay out of trouble."

"I'm talking about you ignoring me just now as you left his office, I would think after last night you'd feel comfortable to talk to me."

Crowe leaned back in his chair, "You would think that, wouldn't you?"

Frankie frowned, "So, that's it? I spent the whole night overthinking things and you act like nothing went on."

"Can we not do this here Rizzoli?" Crowe asked, closing a file.

"I can't believe this, I can't believe I wasted time worrying about what it all meant," Frankie shook his head, storming off to his desk.

"Dammit Frankie that's not what I meant," Crowe stood up and went to Frankie's desk, lowering his voice. "I meant we should probably discuss it privately. I still don't trust that this place isn't bugged from when Anthony was here. You aren't supposed to be here yet and I'm going to be stuck doing files until I redeem myself worthy again to Cavanaugh and this department, we can go outside."

"Oh," Frankie honestly felt embarrassed for assuming Crowe was back to being his douchey self. "Yeah, we can talk outside then."

"I'll be outside in a minute, okay?"

Frankie nodded, "Okay, but I'll only wait for you for a minute," he told him before heading outside. He ran a hand through his hair, not knowing where this conversation was going to go, of where he wanted it to go. He looked down at his phone, timing Crowe's arrival. Crowe appeared at the 40 second mark.

"I'm sorry about back there Rizzoli, I just... didn't want to discuss it inside and I was kind of hoping you'd forgotten about it. But seeing you get all upset up there, I know you probably spent a lot of the evening thinking about it..."

"Yeah, and this morning too."

Crowe nodded, "I'm sorry if my kiss made you uncomfortable, I didn't ask if it was okay and I know the last thing you needed was me hitting on you. I mean you and Frost just ended things and it was wrong of me. But I just I hate seeing you get your heartbroken again and again, it hurts. You shouldn't be getting hurt."

"And how can either of us know that you won't hurt me too?"

"I well... we don't, but I seen what heartache does to you and well, me being single was a choice and it's been a real lonely life I came to realize that I have. And honestly I'm worried about my self esteem."

"Why should you be worried about that? You act like you're hot shit all the time."

Crowe nodded, "Yes Frankie, it's an act. I have issues just like everyone else, I'm just better at hiding it, ignoring it, but seeing you heartbroken three times within a year I can't even begin to imagine how you feel about yourself. Maybe what we need is to help build each other up, make us feel not so worthless. I'm tired of acting like everything is okay."

Frankie listened to his words, he totally understood where he was getting at. Maybe he was growing a soft spot for Darren Crowe, he found it hard to believe but he never seen him so fragile before, so human, so attractive even. "I'm tired of that same feeling. I would never have imagined you feeling this way you always seem so confident, so damn arrogant."

"Is this your way of giving me a pep talk?" he raised a brow.

Frankie shook his head. "No I'm just saying I didn't realize you were... human."

"Maybe that's something I need to work on. Letting myself be vulnerable, showing weaknesses instead of ignoring them. Not acting like I'm better than everyone. I do like you though Frankie, I have for a while, it's not just because I'm lonely, I genuinely care for you. I'll try everything I can to not hurt you, I don't want you to hurt anymore," he spoke softly as if afraid to speak his feelings. "You believe me right?" he bit his bottom lip.

Frankie nodded, "Yeah, I believe you more knowing you don't have any alcohol in your system, you don't right?"

"Yeah because coming to work drunk is a good idea Rizzoli."

"Nobody likes a smart ass Crowe," Frankie couldn't stop himself from smiling.

"I could get used to me being the one who gets you to smile."

Frankie nodded, "It feels good to smile, I still don't know exactly how I feel about you, but I'm curious to find out where this progresses."

"Really?" Crowe asked and Frankie smiled, leaning up on his toes to press his lips against Crowe's.

"Does that answer your question?"

"I um, yeah I think it answers that. You don't have to feel obligated to kiss me though Rizzoli."

"I didn't feel obligated I wanted to try kissing you this time around, you know the whole me being curious to see where it goes thing I just said and can you just call me Frankie while we're alone?"

"I don't know, can you comfortably call me Darren?" he asked, laughing as Frankie shook his head, scrunching up his nose.

"Um no, I guess you'll just always be Crowe to me."

"Hell even I prefer Crowe over Darren. But I'll try to call you Frankie privately," Crowe smiled. "I guess I should get back to my desk before Cavanaugh puts a BOLO out on my ass." He turned on his heel, stopping a moment, turning to Frankie. "Did you want to meet up at the Dirty Robber after work?"

Frankie nodded, "Yeah, I'm up for that, celebrate trying new things."

"Of course you want to celebrate now."

"Well I just happen to be in a good mood, thanks to you."

"Oh don't thank me just yet Frankie. Thank me tonight," he smirked warmly at Frankie before heading back into the building.

"I might be able to get used to this," Frankie said to himself before heading inside to start work.

Oooh lala there seems to be a new romance blossoming in the air, I don't know why I like the thought of Frankie and Crowe, it's definitely different and I like writing Crowe since he's not a total douche in this. Plus Frankie was boring to me when he was involved with Frost. And how about that Rizzles though, hot right? So so glad my muse is back for this story I was losing hope. Not as much Korsangela as I thought this story would have when I started it, the story wouldn't have lasted as long if they were the main focus though. Thanks again for the continuous support.
