Luz knew that once she became immortal that time would be different. Days would feel like seconds, years would feel like minutes and so on. Yet, these few minutes felt like centuries. She held onto Lilith's staff with an iron grip.

"We're here." Lilith said, getting off the staff.

Lilith noticed how tense her niece is and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"I-I'm nervous."

"I know you are but don't worry, I promised your mother that nothing bad will happen."

"Okay, I trust you." Luz said, "Let's go, Auntie Lily."

Normally being called 'Lily' would make her mad, but when Luz said it, it made her feel... happy. They went towards the throne room and Luz froze in front of the door.

"Luz?" Lilith looked at the vampire, "Everything will be okay."

They entered and Lilith kneeled. Luz followed her lead and kneeled too. Belos got out of his chair and walked over to Luz.

"Nice to see you again, Ms. Clawthorne. I see you came to talk about my proposition."

"You... didn't really give me a choice, you showed up at my house." Luz said, "What is this proposition?"

"There was one vampire that tried to end the rule of witches and I believe there are more." Belos said.

"And what does that have to do with me?"

"Well, you killed the Vampire King, so that officially makes you the new vampire monarch. Vampire's must listen you. I believe this can be beneficial for everyone. You prevent vampire's from trying to start an uprising and in return I will heal your mother of her curse."

Luz thought about that for a minute. On the one hand, she didn't trust the Emperor as far as she could throw him. On the other, this is the only chance she has for Eda, the person that has given her more then she could ever imagine, to be cured. Her mind was made up.

"What do you have in mind?" Luz asked.

Belos walked over to a wall covered in Coven banners. He pulls a cord and a black and grey banner unravels. The banner had a crescent moon with bats flying in the sky, there was a light fog type graphic near the bottom that lightly covered a figure. The figure had a cloak and fangs slightly sticking out of their mouth. The only thing with color on the flag was a small trickle of blood coming from the lips and their eyes.

"Ms. Clawthorne, Queen of Vampire's, you will hence be known as the first leader of... the Shadow Coven."

Well, that's one hell of a proposition. Let me know what you think, if anyone wants to draw the banner let me know because I want to see that. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
