"What do you mean by village?"

Dabi flickered his eyes between Tomoyo and Eisuke. Both cousins gazed at him with eyes glowed with hostility as Eisuke pressed his katana against his throat. The cold metal kissed his neck, almost bringing out a little shiver of fear down his spine but Dabi focused his attention on the stone-faced gray-haired girl.

The hostility in her violet eyes faded into a complete blank look. She flickered her eyes between him and Eisuke, who pressed the katana even tighter against his throat. Blood dripped out and it was not long before the woman shot a warning look to her cousin. The red-haired man thinned his lips but the grip on the katana did not lighten.

"Don't play dumb with me," Eisuke growled as Tomoyo took a step forward. The red-haired man fixated his hand on the paper on the palm of his hand before looking back at him. "How the fuck can you not know what I mean by village when you have a transformation seal! Which village? Kiri? Kumo or are you from Iwa? Are you after Tomo-chan?"

Transformation seal? He glanced up at his hand and looked back at the fuming male in front of him. Kiri? Kumo? Iwa? Those names were unfamiliar to him. Dabi licked his dried lips and took in a deep breath. This piece of paper was just one of the many papers that Isamu had left behind before one of those heroes killed him.

It had been useful and since Sasuke seemed to have similar capabilities like Isamu, it had been only natural to demand the boy helped him activate it. But the fact that Eisuke and Tomoyo knows what it is means that they have secrets of their own. His lips tugged into a frown. What was the connection between his deceased roommate and those two?

"Eisuke, why don't you deactivate the seal?" Tomoyo's voice was soft and weary as her violet eyes stared at his turquoise eyes. She curled her lips into a frown and then glided her way to the door. She locked the door and leaned against the door as Eisuke grunted. "If he is a shinobi from one of the villages then he will have a Hitai-ate on him if he is on a mission."

Eisuke eyed her. "I will deactivate it if you make the chakra chain."

Chakra chain? Dabi frowned and then blinked when a pair of thin whip-like chains wrapped itself around him like he was some kind of present. Twisting his head, he jolted at the sight of the glowing violet-like chains in the young woman's hand. How could she do this? Wasn't her Quirk a healing Quirk? So how could she do this? Something didn't make sense.

"I don't think he is from one of the hidden villages," Tomoyo observed as Eisuke slid the katana back into its sheath. Violet eyes rested on his turquoise eyes before moving back to the grimacing red-haired man. Dabi blinked while the red-haired man raised an eyebrow at her. "If he was after me or a member of our clan then they would know what these chains are. Our clan was well-known for them or so Father says."

Why are they talking like they are from a feudal system?

"Or he could be ignorant like how Konoha tried to make their own children ignorant of what our great-great-grandfather gave to that ungrateful place," Eisuke stated, grabbing his hand. Great-great-grandfather? Ignorant? What the hell was those two talking about? He curled his lips into a frown while Tomoyo thinned her lips. "Our great-grandfather handed them Kushina-obaachan and her own daughter had to be treated like dirt!"

Tomoyo sighed. "Are you really going to talk about this in front of a potential shinobi? You need to learn how to keep information to yourself."

"What can he do? Use that information against us or Konoha?" Eisuke asked, shaking his head. Dabi blinked and then yelped as a flood of energy burned through his hands. The gray-haired woman narrowed her eyes at the male and the red-haired man exhaled. "The fact that the abuse was so obvious means that Konoha doesn't believe for one second that it could be used against them."

The gray-haired woman sighed. "Uncle Kenji proved that wrong when he used it to get compensation for what happened to her. Now finish deactivating that seal, Eisuke!"

"What does she think I'm doing?" His childhood friend's voice colored with irritation as his hand continued to burn his own. What the hell is this bastard doing to my hand? Dabi clenched his jaws and squirmed, only to wince when the chains tightened against his body. Air wheezed out of his mouth and his throat tightened as a pair of violet eyes shot a warning look at him.

The pain faded and the chains loosened as two sets of eyes widened. Dabi schooled his expression into a blank expression. Eisuke's eyes widened and the irritation in his eyes faded as his lips parted. Tomoyo stared at him with unreadable eyes and wobbling lips. He kept his expression on them, even though his heart and eyes pleaded for him to look away.

"Touya." Tomoyo's voice was sad and grief-stricken just like that day when he woke up. And just like that day, his heart lurched and howled with pain while his legs wobbled slightly. Dabi lowered his head and took in a deep breath. I left behind that name! I won't use that name until I make that bastard pay! He tilted his head up.

She didn't affect him. No one affected him. His siblings couldn't move him and the same went with Eisuke. I'm not affected. His legs did not tremble because of the care and concern coming out of her mouth. His heart beat in a slow pace, not in a rapid pace because Eisuke gazed at him with wide, concerned eyes.

"Didn't I tell you, Sweetheart? You shouldn't think every stranger on the street is him."

Why do you still care and look for me when you have everything?

"You know I would agree with you but you can't look Tomo-chan in the eye, can you…Touya?" Eisuke shook his head and Dabi just continued to stare at him with blank eyes before shaking his head. The red-haired hero clenched his jaws together. "You think we can't recognize you with all those scars and that hair dye? You are our best friend!"

"Wanna play with me? All the other boys are being asses to you because they are jealous!"

Bright cheerful green eyes and a cheerful grin flashed before his eyes. His heart fluttered with happiness and hope like it always did whenever that memory came. For a brief moment, the 23-year-old hero in front of him changed into 4-year-old boy with a wide, cheerful smile that always radiated with warmth. That deep voice faded into a squeaky, concern voice to him saying—

"Tou-kun! We're going to the Old Goat whether you like it or not!"

He shook his head.

"I'm not Touya, Uzushiokage."

"Don't pull that bullshit over me, Touya!" Eisuke clenched his jaws together and stared at the stone-faced woman before looking back at him. "You think I'm stupid enough to believe that if you keep saying that, that I'm going to believe you? Your eyes haven't changed one bit from the days leading up to your escape! And you still look the same! You're Todoroki Touya! My best friend!"

The beds rattled and jumped as green eyes flared up with determination. Eisuke's body shivered and trembled as silence flooded the room and Dabi averted his gaze to the second person in the room. Tomoyo nodded and her eyes moistened as her bottom lip trembled slightly. Why the hell do they still care after all this time? They hadn't talked to each other for a while.

They should have forgotten about him.

"Will you still call me a friend if you knew I murdered people?" His lips curled into a smirk as his turquoise eyes landed on them. "Will you be willing to tell the whole world that your best friend is a criminal? Can you still call me a friend with the knowledge that I murdered people? Can you honestly call a criminal a friend?"

Eisuke trembled and gazed at him with wide eyes as the confession hovered in the air. Sweat formed and dribbled down the side of his forehead as green and violet eyes gazed at him. Tomoyo's eyes lacked surprise. Her face was blank as a canvas but her shoulders quivered. Her bottom lip quivered.

This is what I want.

He could endure the pain and guilt erupting inside of him.

"You are still our friend," Tomoyo declared with a quiet and even tone. Her violet eyes flickered to Eisuke and Dabi stumbled when the red-haired man bobbed his head. Why? What? How? His throat dried up as violet eyes flared with determination. "We still care about you and we still love you, Touya even if you killed them."

Her eyes shone with sincerity.

"Why?" His voice almost trembled and Dabi clenched his jaw. I can't waver because they still care about me. It could be a trap to lure him into spilling information because neither of them was insane enough to still care about him. Neither of them was stupid enough to love him. His siblings cared about him but it was a given because they had a blood connection.

Eisuke and Tomoyo didn't have that connection to him.

"Because you are our friend first before anything," Tomoyo repeated as her violet eyes fixated on him. "Do you think because you did all of those horrible things that we are going to renounce what we have? You think we can throw away so many years of friendship because you committed horrible things? What you did is horrible but we know what lead you to do this."

"It was painful to watch you and your siblings go through all of that," Eisuke's voice was soft and Dabi froze as green eyes looked at him. "In no way, does that abuse excused what you did but we get it. What Endeavor did to you could make any one crack but murdering innocent people because of that, doesn't excuse your action. Abuse can explain what lead you to become that person but it doesn't excuse your action."

She nodded. "What was your plan by doing all of this? What did you gain from this? What do you think would change by doing this?"

Dabi stared at her.

"If you want me to explain then I need you to explain the whole being a ninja."

Eisuke flickered his eyes between them and pulled out a cellphone. What is that guy up to? Dabi eyed the phone before shifting his gaze to the stone-faced Tomoyo. His childhood friend looked back at him, violet-blue eyes lingering on the scars of his arms before moving to the one on his face. The red-haired man bobbed his head and pocketed his phone.

"Tomo-chan can explain things to you while I go and find your partner-in-crime," Eisuke's eyes rested on Tomoyo as Dabi slacked his jaw at him. "Don't give me that look, To-kun! I'm smart enough to realize that there might be a shinobi in the building! Now Tomo-chan don't let Touya go because—"

"—I know," Tomoyo said curtly. "Go and find that shinobi! And take someone from Konoha with you because god knows whether you are strong enough to deal with the shinobi."

Eisuke rolled his eyes before dashing out of the door. Dabi barely blinked as the door slammed shut. He stumbled and tilted his head as Tomoyo nipped her thumb. The gray-haired woman drew several characters on the door and there was a faint glow that soon faded into nothing. She dropped the chains. No smile played on her lips as her eyes rested on him.

"I could run away now that you let those chains go."

The gray-haired woman snorted.

"I care about you but that doesn't mean I'm foolish enough to let you go, Touya."

No, she wouldn't be Tomoyo if she didn't do things in logical manner.

We only have 10 minutes before the exam starts.

Naruto hummed and leaned against the chair as several people began to cue up in front of the bathroom. In the corner of the room, several of her classmates began to pile up food onto their plates. We don't know how long these rescue operations are going to take place. Mera never did tell them about the length of the second part, only telling them that they were rescuing injured civilians.

She sighed and snuck a glance at Shouto. Her boyfriend had a tiny frown playing on his lips as his eyes scanned the hall. Who is he looking for? Tilting her head, the blonde scanned the room. All of the faces were the same faces from the hall. There was no one new. The blonde offered a curt nod to Shindo. The black-haired male flashed her a fake smile.

I have to admit that he does a pretty good job with luring people into thinking he is a good, innocent person.

Honestly if it was not for the fact she liked Shouto and grew up in Konoha, she probably might have gotten a little crush on him like Ashido did. But I really don't like the calculating type but I respect his tactic. The blond-haired girl, beside Shindo, stared at her and her eyebrows twitched before poking the boy on the ribs.

He winced and flashed a smile to the girl before whispering something in her ear. Oh, she is the jealous type when it comes to her boyfriend staring at someone, who isn't her. The happy smile on the boy and the flushed cheeks really did speak volumes about their relationship. Naruto shook her head and glanced at Shouto.

Heterochromatic eyes continued to scan the room.

"Wanna tell me who you are looking for, Hot Stuff?" Shouto blinked and raised an eyebrow as the blonde leaned her body forward. "What you don't like the nickname?"

He tilted his head. "Only half of my body is hot."

"It means that I find you to be extremely good-looking," Naruto chuckled and grinned as Shouto looked away from her. The tip of his ears reddened and the heat radiating from his left side was no longer warm. Sweat formed around her arms and the blonde chuckled. "You still get embarrassed whenever I tell you that you are good-looking."

Her boyfriend coughed. "I'm not embarrassed."

Then why are your ears becoming even more red? She chuckled and shook her head as Shouto stared at her lips. His eyes were thoughtful and the whiskered teen rested her head on top of his shoulders. Several girls shot her looks of jealously while a couple of other people only stared at them before looking away from them.

"Well do you wanna tell me who you are looking for?" Naruto hummed and allowed her smile to drop slightly as her eyes regarded him. "You seem to be determined to find someone. Should I worry about someone stealing you from me right underneath my nose?"

Shouto blinked. "Why would someone steal me from you? I will be too heavy for someone to carry."

"You are lucky that I know you don't understand things or I would have smacked my head," Naruto laughed. Her boyfriend furrowed his eyebrows together and the blonde shook her head at him. "When I mean someone stealing you from me, I meant if I have to worry about you liking someone else more than me and you being tempted to cheat."

"Why would I look at anyone else when I have you?" Naruto's cheeks reddened as sincerity and confusion shone through his eyes. And this is why I can't ever become jealous. How could someone ever doubt their partner when they could be this genuine? She chuckled as her boyfriend regarded her for a couple of seconds. "I'm looking for the guy that I was talking to earlier when you and Midoriya had your talk."

Naruto frowned. "Why are you looking for him?"

"Well he asked me a very…strange question and asked me some very strange questions," Shouto answered. His heterochromatic eyes flickered around the room but never really met her eyes. He rested his hand on her hair and a small frown tugged on the corner of his lips. "I wanted to know what those questions have to do with the topic."

"What was the topic?"

Her boyfriend coughed and focused his gaze on the screen. "Well he wanted to know if I was in love with you."

What? Why? Her heart raced against her chest with nerves and her palms moistened. Naruto licked her lips and cleared her throat before looking down at her lap. Why would someone care about Shouto's feelings towards her? How could this guy be so blunt to ask such a personal question? She knitted her eyebrows together.

"W-What did you say?" Her voice trembled and Naruto took in several deep breaths as her whole body began to tremble. I-Isn't it way too soon for us to know? And if Shouto knows then does that mean I'm weird? She tilted her head and inspected her boyfriend. His eyes focused on her before looking down at the floor.

"I said I don't know," Naruto relaxed her shoulders as her boyfriend focused his eyes on her. "I like you. I really like you but love is a really big word to use, isn't it? How do we know if we are in love with each other? I know we like each other but saying we are in love after nearly two months of dating is way too soon. Isn't it too soon for us to know?"

At least we are on the same page about that. She took in a deep breath and looked up at the ceiling. The fans swirled around in a greeting and only dirty brown ceilings greeted her. Love was never her forte. It was easy to adore the boy beside her. He brought out so many feelings out of her but could she genuinely say she was in love with him?

That was still something that needed to be figured out.

"It feels way too soon because while I like you and I love being around you, we still need to figure things out," Naruto admitted. Her boyfriend nodded and relaxed into his seat. She clasped their hands together and looked at him. "We've been together for nearly 2 months now and saying we're in love after 2 months doesn't seem we are taking it seriously. But maybe it's just me."

Shouto frowned. "What do you mean it's just you?"

"Well I never really understood love," Naruto rubbed the back of her neck and stared at Shindou and his girlfriend. "When I was in Konoha, every girl could pinpoint when they fell in love with a certain boy. From what Ero-Sennin told me, my own Dad knew he was in love with my Mom after meeting her."

Her boyfriend chucked. "You don't believe it, do you Princess?"

"My Dad met my Mum when he was eight," Shouto blinked and the blonde snorted. "I know they say that love doesn't make sense but eight-years-old was way too soon for my Dad to decide he was in love with my Mom! If Ero-Sennin says that my Dad knew he had a crush then that would make so much more sense! Kids at that age have crushes! It's normal even!"

Naruto's eyebrows twitched when her boyfriend looked at her with amused eyes. How was that even funny? She wondered as she crossed her arms together and puffed her cheeks. The corner of her boyfriend's lips tugged and the anger inside of her washed away, replaced with a faint smile. How could anyone stay angry when he looked like that?

His smiles was a treasure to her.

"Did you ever have a crush then?" Shouto asked, looking down at her with curious eyes. "You said that it was normal for kids at that age to have crushes."

She blinked and stroke her chin as heterochromatic eyes shone with curiosity. Will he be happy if I tell him the truth? Her stomach fluttered and flapped with nerves. It was not like it was a secret. The other girls knew about it and obviously her best friend knew it too, because she would never keep it a secret from her.

It would have been a secret if they liked the same guy.

"You are my first crush," Naruto admitted. Her cheeks heated up as heterochromatic eyes widened. A giggle escaped her lips as her boyfriend's jaw dropped at this confession. She cleared her throat and folded her legs together as her hand slid back into his larger, warmer hands. She smiled slightly wider. "Is it really hard for you to believe?"

Shouto nodded. "Why me?"

"What do you mean why you?" Naruto frowned and tilted her head at him. If it had been anyone else, she probably would bristled and scowled but her boyfriend was like her. He had never been someone's first choice and that knowledge allowed her to keep her head. "Why wouldn't you be the first guy that I like?"

"Well there must have been a lot of guys who caught your attention," her boyfriend replied. He lowered his head and took in several deep breaths before resting his eyes on the screen. "I know I'm not the most handsome guy and I'm definitely not the comforting guy. I still don't understand certain things…so why was I the first?"

Naruto blinked and hummed. How did she go about explaining things to him? There were a lot of reasons why she liked him more than any boy she had ever met. There are just no way to fully explain it to him but I guess I could try. Bobbing her head, the blonde straightened her skirt and exhaled.

"Because you are Shouto," he blinked and the blonde smiled. "I like you because I like being around you and you never ever ask me to change. I like you because I like the way you make me feel and we can talk about everything. You treat me well and well you have been there for me through thick and thin. I mean why wouldn't I like you? Looks have never been enough to catch my attention."

Shouto smiled faintly. "So you don't like me because you think I'm a good kisser?"

"Y-You are passable," Naruto muttered as her cheeks burned red. "You still have a long way to go before I deem you a fantastic kisser."

Her boyfriend hummed and his eyes gleamed with mischief. "And what do I have to do to get your seal of approval, Princess?"

Why did I unleash this side of him? Naruto groaned and ducked her head down as heterochromatic eyes regarded her with curiosity. She waited for the flips and twirls of her silly heart to died down before looking at him. She cleared her throat and leaned closer to him as several people began to join the cue for the toilet.

"Well I heard from a certain someone that practice makes perfect," she allowed her cheeks to heat up and the blonde smiled when those heterochromatic eyes gleamed with determination. "Are you really considering the idea of kissing me until I say that you are an amazing kisser?"

Shouto nodded and smiled faintly. "You did say practice makes perfect."

We are definitely going to have a talk about progression because if he kisses me like that time outside the door then we're in real trouble.

She smiled and made a mental note to herself to ask Shouto about his very first crush.

"So your fathers came from a bunch of countries that used to be hidden from the world and used to be child soldiers."

Dabi stretched his fingers and gazed at the blank eyes of his childhood friend. Her lips did not tug and her violet-blue eyes flashed with weariness. His fingers itched to bring the corner of her lips back into the warm, serene smile that the girl used to direct at him. I'm lucky that Tomo-chan hasn't decided to kill me. The fact she had been trained by a shinobi meant messing with her wouldn't be as fun as before.

It brought a heat to his stomach but that was a whole different story if you asked him.

"My Mother and Eisuke's Mother are from here," Tomoyo tucked a strand of her gray-hair against her ears and sighed. "Neither me nor Eisuke are considered shinobi since Uzushiokagure is gone. Father did say that if we had been raised in one of the Hidden Villages, we would have been lead to believe that being a shinobi was our only option."

Dabi nodded. "But why Japan? Why here?"

He looked down at his charred hand before fixating his gaze on the slender, petite woman in front of him. Her violet eyes lured him and the tension inside of him died down. His racing heart began to slow down like it always did as violet eyes flashed with understanding. This was why escaping from that horrible place had been difficult.

'You and your siblings could stay with me and my family! We can have fun and all of you could smile from your heart! You will be safe!'

Teary violet eyes flashed before his eyes and his heart groaned with agony. I was so tempted to take the offer of staying with her and that Asa-ojisan. Dabi kept his expression blank. But it would have been a big court battle and no one would have taken their side. Heroes never got punish for their own horrible deeds, even when the signs were right there.

No one questioned why his mother was sent to the hospital and even if Endeavor sent his mother's flowers, Dabi could never ever forgive him for what he did to her. He never even give her flowers before all of this! Now that he got what he wants, everything is better? Until Isamu died, he had been the one person who helped him to see his mother.

Now it was Sasuke and even then the bastard would look at him with slight surprise in his black eyes.

"Kenji-ojisan lost our other uncle and various other family members because three villages were terrified of our clan helping Konoha during the war," Tomoyo leaned against the door and slid down. He blinked as the girl shook her head. "He never forgave Konoha for abandoning us during our time of need and even though Naruto's Mom was there, he believed Japan had been the better option."

Dabi snorted. "It was war."

"It might have been war but Kenji-ojisan was suddenly given the task of being the leader of a whole village," Tomoyo stated. She inhaled and inched closer to him as her eyes rested on the horrible, ugly purple burnt marks on his body. "From what Father and him believe, the village wanted to scatter us and make us go to one of the villages. Kenji-ojisan loved Ren-ojisan and found the idea to be a betrayal to my deceased uncle."

That man knows how to love someone? Dabi snorted and turned his head away as Tomoyo looked at him with twitching lips. It didn't mean anything. Just because he hated Kenji for what he did to Eisuke, did not mean he was still Touya. He took a deep breath and turned his head back to the gray-haired woman.

His heart almost stopped at the knowing smile playing on her lips.

"Don't overthink it," he grunted.

"You still care about Eisuke even if you decided to ignore him," Tomoyo observed. Dabi rolled his eyes and folded his arms against his chest. The gray-haired woman frowned and fixated her eyes on his white shirt. "You did care about the fact that Kenji-ojisan made Eisuke sleep on the street because he wanted to go to Yuuei High."

The black-haired man grunted. "Bastard could have done a better job of making Eisuke not go there. That idiot brawled for days over not going to that shitty school and I still don't fucking understand why he couldn't just let him go."

"Everything that Kenji-ojisan did was because he wanted to protect the clan," Tomoyo replied. Dabi blinked and jerked his head as violet eyes hardened. She pressed her thin lips into a very thin line as her eyes rested on the door. "People with Quirks are valued and they will get kidnapped because they are seen as a potential weapon. The fact that Quirks could change and mutate over generations? That makes it even more valuable."

Dabi regarded her. "The second time that you got kidnapped, was it from someone from that part of the world?"

"I ignored my mother's warnings again and someone from Iwagakure found out about me," the gray-haired woman clicked her tongue and shook her head. "If it wasn't for Naruto reading my hint then Kenji-ojisan wouldn't have been able to threaten Iwagakure over their actions. I wanted to kick those bastards in the balls especially when one of them wanted to make me breeding cow."

His blood boiled with rage and he clenched his jaws together as Tomoyo looked at him with faint sad, bitter eyes. You were going to end up in the same fate as my mother and you can do this? Threatening them isn't enough! He inhaled and exhaled. The desire to throttle Eisuke and his father was great but that would feed into that reckless belief that they had of him.

"You should have done it."

Tomoyo giggled and his stomach fluttered again. For a brief moment, the walls of the infirmary faded and was replaced with the walls of their high school's classroom. The 22-year-old woman was replaced with a smiling 16-year-old Tomoyo being surrounded by so many people. Her violet eyes would rest on him and the smile on her face would widen as she say to her friends—

"To-kun isn't weird! He doesn't have to be sociable like everyone else!"

He shook his head.

"Why did you kill them?" Dabi blinked as the giggles died down and violet eyes focused on him. Concern and curiosity flashed before her eyes as Tomoyo tucked her head between her legs. Her violet eyes pleaded and begged for him to open up. He paused. Why should I even open up to her? Why should I tell her? She would cry.

His whole body always became numb whenever Tomoyo cried because she rarely cried. But the complete lack of judgment in her eyes made his eyebrows twitched. Why? Why does she still care even after knowing what I did? She could stop caring about him. She had no obligation to be patient with him if you asked him.

That was probably why he confessed to her.

"It would have been the biggest blow to the Hero Society if the new Number One Hero was the one who created a villain," Dabi admitted. Tomoyo continued to stare at him with blank eyes and her lips remained in a thin line. He cleared his throat. "At first, I thought I would hurt Shouto when he ended up getting to the Top Five because Endeavor rested everything on him. Now that he is Number One, this seem like a better plan."

The gray-haired woman turned her head away as her whole body trembled. Dabi clasped his hands together and took in several deep breaths as the words hovered between them. After a couple of seconds, Tomoyo swirled her head at him. Her pretty violet eyes flared up with anger and irritation. Her jaws clenched together and he only allowed his lips to twitch.

"Shouto is your little brother," Tomoyo hissed, shaking her head. "I know you are upset and maybe even a little bit jealous that Endeavor showered him with attention but from what Fuyumi told me, Shouto never even got to see the decent side of your father! If you had one good memory of him training you then Shouto had none! Your sister spent years crying over what happened to him! She needed you!"

Dabi winced and Tomoyo faltered before shaking her head. He gazed down at his unmarked hand before looking out to the small window. Did Fuyumi really needed him? She had been doing a good job of fulfilling the role of their mother to Shouto. Natsuo had always been the kind one. He could take care of Shouto way better than him.

What would have been his role?

"Shouto is still that man's tool," he declared with an even and calm tone as violet eyes sharpened. "My little brother stopped being himself when Endeavor took him in."

"You are projecting yourself on him," Dabi blinked and clenched his jaws together as Tomoyo threw her hands up in the air. She shook her head and looked at him with moistened eyes. "From what I know from Fuyumi-chan, your youngest brother had been surpressing his fire side because of what happened to your Mom! Do you know how many times Fuyumi came to me, sobbing over how Endeavor keeps yelling at Shouto for not using that side?"

Don't tell me! I know Fuyumi and I know she must have done it a lot! He inhaled and exhaled before looking away from the furious, teary eyes of Tomoyo. Why did she have to bring up his twin? Why did she have to tell him this? His cheeks stung and he quickly pressed his finger against the bottom of his eyes.

Did she really think it had been easy for him to abandon them?

"He shouldn't have used it," Dabi stated. "Those flames are Endeavor's flames. We are both extensions of that man's will."

The younger woman clenched her jaws together and made her way to him. He kept his eyes focused on her furious eyes, even though her hips swayed in a really mesmerizing manner. Even though that white coat hid her figure, he always did know that other than her striking gray-hair that her bottom half was probably her fourth best feature.

Her second had been her smile and third would have definitely been her eyes.

"How the hell are your flames and your little brother's flames are the same as your abuser!" Tomoyo hissed. He stared at her as her hands grabbed hold of his shoulders. Her violet eyes gleamed with frustration and grief. "Your flames are blue! And so much more vibrant and prettier than that man's flames! If you think like this then are you going to say that his flames caused those deaths? Because it didn't cause those deaths! You did! How many times do I have to tell you that it is your Quirk!"

He grabbed hold of Tomoyo's slender arms and felt his throat clogged up when tears poured down from her eyes. Her bottom lip wobbled and his heart throbbed with pain. I'm causing her to cry again. Regret crept up in his stomach as he rubbed her arms. The woman furiously shook her head and yanked her arm away before rubbing her eyes.

"You are crying."

Tomoyo sniffed.

"You think I want to cry? I hate watching you suffer like this because it hurts so much!" She took in a deep breath and rubbed her eyes before shaking her head at him. "Watching you cling to that belief was always like a bullet! You were always suffering! All of you were and there was nothing I could do to stop it! Now your self-destructive level went from 7 to a 100!"

His heartstring tugged and he looked away from her. "Why do you still care? You are achieving your dreams! You could have anyone! So why do you still care so much, Tomoyo!"

The words sounded harsh and his chest tightened as her violet eyes looked at him with disbelief. What did I do to deserve it? We might have been friends for a long time but she could move on! She could find someone better! Someone without any physical or emotional scars! He took a deep breath and glared at the sealed door.

"You really are silly and you are still so dense," Tomoyo stated. He blinked and swirled his head as violet eyes radiated with sadness and understanding alongside irritation. "Why wouldn't I care? You are my friend. You were the friend that tried to cheer me up whenever I had doubts or whenever I remembered my Mom! You were the friend that would try to get Eisuke to stop crying whenever Kenji-ojisan went too far. Even though you were in pain, you tried your best to help him."

Stop trying to see the good in me.

The words seemed intent to be stuck in his throat.

"Well you did a terrible job of getting him to stop brawling like a crybaby."

"I know," she smiled slightly and he blinked as her violet eyes rested on him. "But watching you made me want to do a better job. I used to watch you try and keep Eisuke and your other two siblings a float even though it was clear that you wanted to withdraw from them. Watching you go from being that quiet, happy boy to a quiet, sad and angry boy was the worst thing I ever experienced."

He cleared his throat. "You got kidnapped twice."

"And that wasn't the worst experience," Tomoyo stated. "Watching you suffer was so much more painful."

Sincerity colored her tone and Dabi felt his throat clogging up. Why was I foolish enough to come here? Why did I have to watch her work? He could have left. If he never met her or Eisuke then everything would have been easy for him. He could have burned himself at the age of 14 and ran off but the idea of leaving them and his family hurt.

But then it got worse and the anger in him just kept on brewing inside of him.

"You are still too kind for your own good."

Tomoyo shook her head.

"I'm not kind and I'm definitely not good," her hand caressed his burnt-half cheek and her eyes fixated on the medical staples in his face. "If I was kind and good then I would have done a better job of watching out for you. I-If I had been good then you wouldn't have left your siblings. They missed you so much, Touya. They're definitely going to be heart-broken about this!"

He stared at her teary eyes and took a deep breath as his chest tightened. Excited grey eyes flashed before his eyes alongside the hero-worshipping heterochromatic eyes. I don't regret what I did. Doubt crept up in his stomach and he gently pushed her warm hands away from him. Tomoyo sniffed and rubbed her eyes before looking away from him.

"They are going to be more heartbroken that I destroyed their family honor."

The violet-eyed woman shook her head and rested her eyes on him.

"Do you honestly believe those three give a fuck about family honor? Natsuo would be more than willing to talk against Endeavor if he didn't worry about your Mom!" Tomoyo shook her head. "Fuyumi? She wants you back! They all do! And I'm willing to bet that at the end of the day, they will still love you after all you have done!"

Dabi stared at her. "Tomo-chan."

She blinked and rubbed her eyes as he gazed at her trembling shoulders. Irritation and frustration filled her eyes as her jaws kept clenching and unclenching like a clockwork. Was she going to smack him? That had never been her style. Even when Eisuke teased them, she had never raised her hand at him.

"What you, ass?"

His lips twitched as violet eyes flared up.

"You are the only person to have faith that they will still love me once they find out that I'm a villain and the crimes I've committed."

There was no way his siblings would still love him after learning of what he did.

A/N: So this chapter was more Dabi focused than Naruto. Eisuke and Tomoyo still consider Dabi to be their friend even if they disapproved of what he did. Naruto and Todoroki had a moment before the exams and Tomoyo tells Dabi that he is destroying himself and that his siblings will still love him. Now here are a couple of questions:

Q1: How do you feel Shouto and his siblings are going to react to Touya?

Q2: How did you feel about the conversation between Dabi and Tomoyo? And the conversation between him, Eisuke and Tomoyo?

Q3: How did you feel about the conversation between Naruto and Todoroki?

Q4: How do you feel about the secondary pairings?

Please do tell me of your thoughts on this chapter and what could be done to improve the story.r
