Lessons In Love: Chapter Eighty-One: Seven Nation Army (Part 1)
The older Tony was exploring a place that was called "Otherworld". He felt like he traveled back in time to a magical place that he had only seen in movies.
He was feeling some "Medieval Times" vibes as he looked around, and he wondered when Lancelot or some barkeep would show up.
It was really freaking him out. He was intending on heading toward Roma's main area of operations. She resided in a place that was called the Starlight Citadel.
He told Steve about his dream, and the soldier reacted in a way that was expected. Big Steve formed his own plans, and the two of them separated to get some answers.
They both decided NOT to talk to Stephen and Clea. Those two were all lovey dovey, and Steve was determined to take over their responsibilities. He got started on it without consulting Stephen.
Steve went to Thor, and the two of them were currently discussing jurisdictions. The blonde was in a serious mood. Thor picked up on it, and he was clued in on the situation. Thor decided to give Steve a brief history lesson before the two of them got to work.
"I protect and look over the nine realms. Stephen is in charge of Earth. Earth has a counterpart, and Clea is in charge of it. Since she is now the Sorceress Supreme, the responsibility and upkeep of the Dark Dimension and Earth falls upon Stephen and Clea. Remember?"
Thor had a kind smile. Steve nodded his head yes, and he looked at an Asgardian illustration of all the realms that were under Thor's protection. Thor was pointing at a dark section of space that was close to Earth.
"These two worlds are not supposed to intersect. Stephen's objective, as the Sorcerer Supreme, is to keep everything from the Dark Dimension OUT of his jurisdiction. He's doing a swell job of that, isn't he?"
Thor was teasing their friend. Stephen friggen married the one person that he was supposed to keep out. Steve brought his hand up to his chin, and he pondered their marriage for a moment.
Clea and Stephen Strange we're married in many dimensions. It happened over and over, and they never found any instances of it turning out bad for them. They were divorced in two scenarios, but that was over infidelity... stuff.
It didn't seem like that was in the cards for the couple that they knew. Steve could see that they were very devoted to each other. He softly sighed and placed his hands back on his hips.
"So.. I guess we are catching onto something that possibly relates to them. Maybe, it relates to all of us? Everyone is throwing around different theories."
Stephen was convinced that Roma wanted to eliminate one version of the Vishanti. He believed that she intentionally chose vulnerable versions of the three of them to possibly test, destroying them?
Steve wasn't sure how that would play out. He had a gut feeling that it had something to do with the infinity stones. That theory resonated more with him, and Tony's dream helped that theory make sense.
Thor watched Steve ponder the multiverse for a while longer, then the colossal blonde decided to chime in.
"Whatever comes of this, just know that Roma's intentions are always pure. There must be an imbalance out there somewhere that she is trying to correct. That is the only theory that I can throw into the mix."
Thor's words didn't really comfort Steve. He had way too many unanswered questions, and he started thinking that he needed to go directly to the source. He slowly glanced over at Mjolnir.
Thor was getting restless. He started tossing his hammer up and catching it over and over.
"You three are worrying too much. Would you like some food Steven?"
Thor wanted them to relax. He didn't think that Roma had any bad intentions for anyone. Thor was confident that Steve, Tony, and Stephen we're mistaken with their theories.
Steve was always hungry, but he didn't reply. He kept staring at that hammer as it was tossed up toward the tall ceiling.
