Chapter 47: Shin Meets Shin?
Last Time after recovering from his battle with Sekai, Jason and the Z-Fighters discuss with King Kai about the mysterious Majin Buu. When nothing came about it, everyone returned home as Jason and Neo had their wedding officially, making them husband and wife.
Soon Neo had found out she was pregnant, and Jason trained to not only protect the universe if need but to protect his growing family. However, the wizard Babidi has been informed by the demon king Dabura that people with the necessary energy of reviving Majin Buu had appeared!
Will the evil Babidi succeed in reviving the monster, or will our heroes manage to stop him before he can pull it off? Find out Now!
Remnant Shin Household…
Jason slept in his bed, unwoken by the rays of sunshine that seeped through the curtains. Next to him was his nine-month pregnant wife Neo, who also was deep in sleep. Both had been up late last night as Neo was kept up by morning sickness.
Not wanting to have her deal with it alone, Jason stayed by her side. She did tell him that she could handle it alone, but Jason just couldn't help himself. No matter what, Jason stayed by his wife, making sure that she was always okay.
It had been an eventful nine months for Jason and Neo's life as they awaited their new child. Jason was excited for the baby to come as he didn't care whether it was a boy or a girl. Though if he had to choose, he did want a boy.
When Jason was not taking care of Neo, he was working as both a huntsman and a construction worker helping people all around. Whether it was killing Grimm, stopping crime, or building homes, Jason was on it.
"Wa…p…" A voice said through Jason could barely hear it.
"Who's talking?" Jason questioned.
"…ke…u…" The voice requested again, still inaudible as Jason tried to keep sleeping.
"Wake up!" The voice demanded again, this time as little hands pushed Jason, finally bringing Jason to consciousness.
"I'm up, I'm up!" Jason replied as he sat up slowly so as to not wake his wife. He turned to meet heterochromia eyes though these did not belong to his wife.
"Scarlet, what did I tell you about waking me up like that?" Jason asked as he got out of bed.
"I know, but you promised you would take me to Vale today! Plus, it's almost noon." Scarlet responded.
This little girl was Scarlet Shin, the five-year-old daughter of Jason and Neo, who had her mother's eyes and her father's hair and tail. She was their first child, who was born shortly after they got married. She wore a red coat with black shirt and pants, and her hair was short, just ending below her ears.
"Sorry, I was busy with your mom last night." Jason apologized as he got dressed. Jason now wore instead of a Gi a black shirt with red pants and boots, both of which allowed him to still fight.
"Do you think the baby will come soon?" Scarlet asked.
"Yep, it has been nine months, and with you, it was pretty soon after, so with your little sibling, it should be the same," Jason answered as he and Scarlet slowly and quietly exited the room.
"I hope it's a girl I want a little sister!" Scarlet exclaimed as Jason began cooking breakfast.
"Well, don't give your hopes up because you may just end up with a little brother," Jason replied.
Five and a half years had passed since Jason had defeated Sekai, and during those five and a half years, he had been training non-stop. Though no news on Majin Buu had come up, Jason still had it in the back of his mind almost every waking moment.
But he didn't let that stop him from enjoying life, like spending time with his family, which was slowly growing. As Jason set down a large plate of food, he and Scarlet dug in, filling both of their Saiyan stomachs.
"Though I don't mind having two daughters, I do like the idea of having a son." Jason thought as he thought more on the topic of his second child. As he thought about his kids, he remembered that he had business in Vale that he needed to attend to.
"By the way, Scarlet, when we go to Vale, we need to stop by your Uncle Elias so he and I can get some business done," Jason informed as Scarlet pouted.
"Ahh, but I wanted to go play with Nicole first." Scarlet pouted as Jason patted her head.
"Don't worry, I won't take long, and you'll have the rest of the day to play with Nicole." Jason smiled as Scarlet smoothed her hair back down.
The Nicole they were referring to was Jaune and Pyrrha's daughter Nicole Arc. She and Scarlet were close friends as they would always play with one another whenever they had the opportunity.
It seemed everyone was having kids nowadays, including but not limited to Jaune and Pyrrha, Yang, Nora and Ren, and Elias and Amber. Blake, who had married Sun Wukong, was still waiting on having kids as she was now Chieftess of Menagerie, and Ruby and Weiss were still single.
The same was with Damian and Alex, who focused on their work as teachers in Beacon and going to help out their cousin Asher who had now split from the family. Apparently, the former madman had settled down as a sheriff of a small village with a wife of his own and a kid.
"I wonder who he married because every time I ask Damian and Alex won't answer?" Jason wondered.
South of Vale…
"So how's it been, Sheriff?" Damian teased as he, Alex, and Asher sat in Asher's office.
"You know you could just ask normally instead of doing this bit, right?" Asher pointed out.
Damian and Alex wore similar clothing to what they did before, but Alex grew out his hair, putting it in a small ponytail, and Damian grew a small beard. Asher looked much the same, but he hid his robotic arm under a cloak that also concealed his ax.
"But to answer your question, I'm fine. Thankfully no one from the family has found me yet." Asher answered.
"You know you could always challenge them to a Jiyu Game like we did, right?" Alex questioned.
"Unlike you, I did a lot of bad things. If they found me, I would be executed." Asher replied.
"I forgot about that." Damian sighed.
"To be fair, you two left when you were young." Asher reminded as the door to his office opened.
"Uncle Damian and Uncle Alex!" A small green-haired girl with red eyes exclaimed as she entered the room.
"Hey there, Viridian, how have you been?" Damian asked as he knelt down to her level.
"Good, mommy's been teaching me a new trick." The Now named Viridian answered.
"What trick has your mother been teaching you?" Asher asked, concerned about what his wife had been teaching his daughter.
"This!" Viridian responded as she held out two wallets.
"Wa-those are our wallets!" Alex gasped.
"How the hell…?" Damian wondered as the door opened again.
"What can I say? She did learn from the best." Emerald bragged as she entered the room.
"I thought we agreed not to teach her this sort of stuff since your trying to put your criminal past behind you." Asher pointed out as he returned his cousin's wallets.
"Hey, I told her not to use it to steal, and besides, she wanted to learn," Emerald smirked as she picked up her and Asher's daughter.
"I still can't believe you two got married," Alex smirked.
"Is it because I used to work for Salem, or is it because Asher used to be a little unstable?" Emerald asked.
"A little of both," Damian responded.
"Whatever. So have you guys heard anything from the family about me?" Asher inquired.
"Nope, your still good, and here are their recent movements, according to Diana," Damian answered as he handed Asher a scroll.
"She says hi, by the way, and she would love to meet her niece someday," Alex stated.
"I'm surprised she's so willing to help me after how I treated her." Asher sighed as Emerald and Viridian left the room.
"She's forgiving and believes in second chances. Who knows, maybe one day you can return to the family." Damian replied.
"Yeah, I don't see that happening anytime soon." Asher laughed as the three caught up.
Shin Household…
Jason finished the dishes before helping Neo to the couch, where he turned on the tv for her. He made sure she had everything she needed before he and Scarlet left for while he wouldn't be long, Jason didn't want his wife to be alone for too long.
Neo now had her hair always in a ponytail and more a white tank top and a black sweatshirt. She also wore brown cargo pants and pink boots. Before they left, Scarlet conversed with her mother and felt the baby kick some.
"Does it tickle when the baby kicks Mama?" Scarlet asked.
"A little," Neo answered via sign language.
"When the baby comes, I'm going to be the best big sister ever!" Scarlet exclaimed.
"I think Yang would argue over that title." Jason laughed.
"Aunty Yang would totally lose!" Scarlet stated, looking confident.
"Sure she will." Jason smiled as he patted her head.
"Alright, is there anything else you need?" Jason asked his wife.
"Nope, everything's perfect. I'll message you if I need anything else." Neo answered.
"Great, take care. We'll be back soon." Jason replied.
"Ready, Scarlet?" Jason inquired.
"Yep!" Scarlet smiled as she followed Jason out the door.
"Hey Dad, can we fly today instead of using Instant Transmission?" Scarlet requested.
"You like flying that much, huh?" Jason asked as Scarlet nodded with a big smile.
"Flying is amazing!" Scarlet exclaimed.
"When can I learn how to fly?" Scarlet inquired.
"When you're a little older," Jason answered as Scarlet hopped on his back, and the two flew off.
Scarlet raised one of her hands to touch some clouds as they flew high up. She had always enjoyed flying with her father ever since she was born. The Half Saiyan couldn't wait until she was old enough to learn.
She also couldn't wait until she was allowed to train, period, as she wanted to be as strong as her father one day. Scarlet remembered the first time she had seen her father in action as he spared against her Uncle Elias.
The battle was amazing as it was also the first time she had seen Super Saiyan and Elias's True Tuffle. Though Elias and Jason held back a great deal so as not to scare her, they made their fight a spectacle to watch as Scarlet sat with her mother and Aunt Amber.
Soon they touched down at the outskirts of Vale and walked into the city. The city was filled with people of all shapes and sizes as Jason and Scarlet walked through. Jason made sure to hold his daughter's hand the whole way so as to not lose her.
While he could always sense where she was, he wanted to be safer than sorry. It wasn't long before they arrived at their destination being the Autumn Orphanarium. The Orphanarium itself was run by Elias and Amber, who retired as professional huntsmen to take care of the orphaned youth of Vale.
The building itself was constructed by Jason, who built it as one of the many construction jobs he had over the years. Currently, it needed a repair as some damage came during a storm a few days prior, and Jason was always up to help.
"Right on time, Amber was getting a little worried." Elias smiled as he exited the building to greet his friend and Scarlet.
"It's good to see you, Elias. How're the kids doing?" Jason asked as he and Elias shook hands.
"They're doing great and having fun. We had a few adoptions since your last visit, which is always good." Elias answered as he kneeled down.
"And how're you doing, kiddo?" Elias asked.
"I'm doing good." Scarlet smiled as the three entered the building.
"So, where's the damage?" Jason inquired.
"It's in the attic under the roof. A beam is damaged, and I have the supplies to replace it, but I need an extra hand." Elias explained.
"Gotcha, let's get this done," Jason smirked
"Scarlet, go and see your aunt and help her a little until I get back," Jason ordered as the two went upstairs.
"Okay," Scarlet replied as she went to find Amber. Eventually, she found her in the big living room of the orphanage.
"Hi, Auntie!" Scarlet greeted as she joined Amber, who was tending to her own child while the other kids played.
Amber and Elias's kid was a boy with Amber's hair and Elias's eyes. His name was August Autumn, and he had been born earlier that year. Elias had taken Amber's name when the two got married as he saw it as putting the past to rest and starting anew for the Tuffles.
"Hi, Scarlet. It's good to see you," Amber replied as Scarlet helped her with August and the other kids.
Surprisingly for her age, Scarlet was very strong, much stronger than her father was at that age. According to Vegeta, it had been because she was a hybrid that she had greater potential for power than even Jason meaning that she could grow up to be much stronger than him.
As Scarlet was doing that, Jason and Elias worked to replace the damaged beam. Elias held up the roof while Jason put up the new support before Elias placed it into position. With the job done, the two went downstairs.
"Thanks again for coming so quick Amber was concerned it would collapse soon." Elias thanked.
"It's no problem. I'm always happy to help. Besides, I know how hard being an orphan is, so helping keep a roof over these kid's heads is the least I can do." Jason replied.
"While I'm here, is there anything else you need help with?" Jason asked.
"Nope, we're good. Yang actually stopped by with Milo a couple of days ago and helped out, so we're good at the moment." Elias responded.
"But you can always come by and say hi to the kids. Seeing such a strong and successful orphan brings their spirits up." Elias added.
"Definitely." Jason agreed.
"You should have seen Milo, though. The kids getting big." Elias smiled as he noted Yang's son Milo Xiao Long who was the same age as Scarlet.
"I still can't believe Evan was able to get her pregnant. You'd think being dead would prevent that." Jason laughed.
"Still though, Yang seems real happy with it, and Milo's a good kid," Elias replied.
"That's true. I think I'll visit them as soon as Neo gives birth." Jason said.
"How's she doing, by the way?" Elias asked.
"She's doing good. The baby should be coming any day now." Jason answered.
"I'm going to drop Scarlet off at Jaune and Pyrrha's before going back to Neo," Jason added.
"How's August, by the way?" Jason inquired.
"He's good. The kids love him too, and I couldn't be happier." Elias responded.
"I'm glad to hear it." Jason smiled.
"I guess in a way, both of our species are slowly coming back." Jason laughed.
"Yep, and one-day, Tuffles and Saiyans will be plentiful again. Though, of course, they'll be mostly human, but I digress." Elias agreed
"By the way, have you heard from Gohan recently?" Elias asked as he took part in training from time to time.
"No, apparently he's going to be starting his first year at a school, so he wanted to focus on that for a month or two," Jason answered.
"I see. He did always want to go to a school." Elias replied.
"Well, I better get going. I'll see you later." Jason smirked as the two shook hands, and Jason and Scarlet left. The two walked down the streets of Vale before finally stopping at the Arc family home.
"Scarlet!" A voice exclaimed as Jason and Scarlet looked up to Nicole, calling from upstairs with a wave.
Nicole Arc had her mother's hair and father's eyes and wore a black sweater and red pants. She was about the same height as Scarlet, who was knee level compared to Jason. Soon after Nicole called to Scarlet, the front door opened, and the young Arc ran out to join her friend.
"Hey, Jason!" Jaune greeted as he joined them outside.
"Sup Jaune, how've you been?" Jason asked.
"I've been good and busy. Pyrrha's been out escorting a lot of big wigs along with Weiss, so I've been working to keep the house tidied up and taking care of Nicole." Jaune answered.
"Wow, it's like you become the perfect house husband." Jason teased.
"Hey, I still go out on missions!" Jaune replied.
"Yeah, I know, but you can't blame a guy for having fun," Jason smirked.
"So how's it been with you? Oh, and Neo, how's she doing?" Jaune inquired.
"I've been good, you know same old same old. As for Neo, she's due pretty soon, so I need to head back if that's alright?" Jason responded.
"That's fine, don't worry, we just went grocery shopping too." Jaune laughed.
"Thanks. Scarlet, I'm heading home, so you better behave for Mr. Arc." Jason informed his daughter.
"I will!" Scarlet replied as Jason used Instant Transmission to return home.
Earth Satan City…
Gohan let out a sigh of relief as he sat on the nimbus as it flew him home. Today had been his first day at public school, and he nearly exposed himself as being…abnormal. First, he stopped a robbery as a Super Saiyan spreading a rumor of a golden warrior.
Secondly, he stood out since he seemed above average in class compared to the rest and took it a bit too serious in comparison. Finally, he had accidentally shown off his strength during a game of baseball but managed to chalk it off as luck.
"No wonder people believe Videl's dad beat Cell if they're that gullible." Gohan thought as the nimbus sped forward.
"But that being said, I should be more careful in the future. Maybe I should ask Bulma for advice since Mom would probably flip." Gohan murmured as nimbus changed course to Capsule Corp.
"Hey Gohan, what's the occasion?" Bulma greeted as Gohan arrived.
"Hi, Bulma. I came over because I was wondering if you can help me with something." Gohan replied.
Gohan proceeded to explain his situation to Bulma, who suggested making a disguise to hide his identity. The Half Saiyan liked the idea, and as Bulma went to make his disguise, Gohan went to say hi to Trunks.
"Hey Trunks!" Gohan greeted as he found Trunks with Vegeta, who both just exited the gravity chamber.
"Hi Gohan, are you here for training?" Trunks asked.
"No, I'm just visiting, and I asked Bulma for a favor," Gohan answered.
"Shame with Arrow staying on Remnant with his wife I don't have a worthy challenge to spar against if you're not going to fight," Vegeta stated as he walked up behind Trunks.
"Oh yeah, I forgot he's having another kid," Gohan replied.
"I've only got to see his first kid twice before. If I remember right, her name was Scarlet." Gohan added.
"Tsk, he should give his children proper Saiyan names," Vegeta argued.
"He probably doesn't know how to make a Saiyan name." Gohan pointed out.
"Have I met his kid?" Trunks questioned, not remembering ever meeting Jason's kid though he remembered the aforementioned Saiyan.
"Yes, but you were still very young. You probably wouldn't remember meeting her." Vegeta answered.
"He better be training her, though," Vegeta stated.
"She should only be five, though." Gohan pointed out.
"So you started training when you were five," Vegeta argued.
"True, but not because I chose to." Gohan countered.
"I'm going to go and leave you two at it." Trunks sighed as he left his father and Gohan.
Gohan waited for another hour before Bulma returned with a capsule watch that contained a suit for him. The Half Saiyan immediately tried it on and smiled, very happy with how it looked though others like Trunks didn't think it looked that great.
"Thanks, Bulma, this is perfect!" Gohan thanked as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"It's no problem. It's nice to see you want to help others." Bulma replied.
"Well, I better get home now. See you later!" Gohan said as he flew off.
"While I'm on my way, I should stop by Satan City and see if there's a need for…wait, I should make a name for myself, so no one knows it's me." Gohan realized.
He stopped then and thought as to what he would call himself until he finally came up with a name. To test it out, he continued on his way to Satan City, where he spotted a reckless driver speeding through the highway.
"They're going to hurt someone driving like that!" Gohan gasped as he flew down to intercept the car.
Gohan landed right in front of the car as the driver slammed on the brakes. It skidded, struggling to stop before Gohan stepped on the hood stopping the car in its tracks. Gohan was unfazed as the two people in the car came out.
"What the hell, man, are you trying to get yourself hurt!?" The driver questioned.
"I won't be hurt by such things, but you were driving too fast! You end up killing someone with such reckless driving!" Gohan stated as he did a voice sound more heroic like.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" The passenger questioned.
"Who am I, you ask!" Gohan began as he proceeded to make a pose.
"I am defender of justice! Hero to all! The Great Saiyaman!" Gohan finished as he made a goofy pose.
"Uhh…" The passenger stuttered,
"What the hell is that? Are you some sort of clown act kid!?" The driver questioned.
"I am not a clown! I am the Great Saiyaman!" Gohan shouted, irritated as he walked over to the car and pulled out the engine.
"If you're not going to drive safely, then I'll just make sure you won't be endangering the lives of others," Gohan stated as he dropped the engine at the side of the road along with the car.
"My car!" The driver cried as Gohan picked him up along with the passenger and dropped them off on the sidewalk away from the highway before flying off.
"That could have gone better." Gohan sighed as he flew off towards home.
"I wish I could do this easier and get paid for this like Jason does. Though that being said, I don't think he goes around fighting crime like this." Gohan thought as he imagined Jason in a costume like his.
"I should schedule a training session in a few weeks," Gohan said as he touched down outside his home.
"Gohan, your late where have you…what in Super Kami Dende's name are you wearing?" Chi-Chi questioned.
"This is a suit Bulma made me so that I can use my power to help people without them knowing who I am," Gohan explained proudly, showing off the costume to his mother.
"Wow, cool!" Goten exclaimed as he exited the house to see his older brother.
"Well, at least it serves a purpose. Get inside before dinner gets cold." Chi-Chi ordered.
"All right, Mom," Gohan replied as he pressed a button on the watch Bulma gave him to put away the suit.
"So Gohan, what was school like?" Goten asked.
"It was weird but fun. I think overall, I'm going to like it." Gohan responded.
"Good because this school will give you a great opportunity in the future." Chi-Chi smiled.
"You didn't show your strength today, right?" Chi-Chi inquired.
"I had a close call, but overall I managed to hide it," Gohan answered.
"It's why I got the costume from Bulma so that I can hide it better," Gohan added as Chi-Chi sighed.
"Just try not to go overboard, please." Chi-Chi requested.
"I'll try not to," Gohan replied.
Remnant Shin Household…
Jason sat on his couch next to his wife, who leaned her head on his arm. They were watching TV and relaxing to make sure Neo and the baby would both be okay. Though soon, that got too repetitive, and Jason helped Neo outside.
"So, how are you feeling?" Jason asked as he and Neo sat down on the grass.
"Good, I think I got all the sickness out of me last night," Neo answered.
"I'd be surprised if you didn't." Jason laughed as Neo punched him in the arm.
"Sorry," Jason said as they watched the clouds above.
"It's surreal, isn't it? I feel like it was just yesterday that I was training on Kai's mountaintop, and we met again here." Jason pointed out.
"Yeah. Now we're married, and we're expecting our second baby." Neo smiled.
"Honestly, I never saw myself like while I was growing up. Maybe it was because my mom never got married or because I never liked a girl before like I do with you, but either way, it's a nice surprise." Jason said.
"I've never imagined myself like this either. When I was working with Roman, all I saw myself doing was helping run his criminal enterprise." Neo agreed.
"Did that all change when you met me?" Jason asked.
"Not immediately. I'll be honest when we first met, I was more interested in you because of your looks, so I decided to tease you a little." Neo began.
"Then when you saved me and took me here, that slowly started to change as you showed me a different side of life." Neo finished.
"I'm glad I was able to help." Jason smiled as he held Neo's hand.
"By the way, I wanted to ask you something," Neo stated.
"What is it?" Jason inquired.
"If the baby is a boy, I wanted to give it a name…" Neo began as Jason knew exactly what she wanted.
"Let me guess you want to name the kid Roman if it's a boy." Jason guessed.
"Yeah." Neo nodded.
"I'm fine with it. After all, I wanted to name Scarlet after my mom. You should be able to name this one after Roman if you really want it." Jason replied.
"Thanks." Neo smiled as her eyes widened.
"I think we're going to find out real soon too," Neo stated.
"Why?" Jason asked.
"My water broke," Neo answered as Jason sat there stunned.
"Okay, okay, okay, let's get you inside, and I'll get Ruby and Yang," Jason said as he picked up Neo and brought her inside.
Ruby had assisted them when Neo had given birth to Scarlet as she had some experience helping Yang give birth to Milo. Yang was also coming to assist her sister, and since she was Scarlet and the new child's godparent, it was only natural for her to be there beyond helping.
Jason placed her on their bed before using Instant Transmission to bring himself to Patch. He went up to the Xiao Long Rose house and knocked on the door. After a few minutes, Milo answered the door.
"Hi, Uncle Jason!" Milo greeted as he opened the door.
Milo was about the same height as Scarlet and closely resembled Evan though he had Yang's eyes. He wore a tan shirt with black cargo pants and was given his father's bandanna as a gift from Jason.
"Hey, kiddo is can you get your mom and aunt for me." Jason requested.
"Okay," Milo replied as he went back inside.
"Hey, Jason, what's up? You have come over in a while?" Ruby asked as she arrived first, followed by Yang.
"I need your help," Jason said.
"With what? Did something happen?" Yang inquired.
"Neo's going into labor," Jason answered as Ruby and Yang looked in shock.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Bring us to her now!" Yang demanded as she grabbed onto Jason's collar.
"Milo, you stay here and behave for grandpa," Yang ordered.
"Why can't I come?" Milo questioned.
"Because I said so," Yang stated as she grabbed onto Jason's shoulder.
"Oh, and feed Zwei." Ruby reminded as she grabbed onto Yang's shoulder, and Jason used Instant Transmission to bring them to his home.
"Ah man…I wanted to see the new baby first." Milo sighed as Zwei sat next to him. With Jason, he arrived in his living room with Yang and Ruby.
"Okay, she's in the bedroom. Let's go!" Jason said as he went to enter, only for Yang to block him.
"You are going to stay out here while Ruby and I help Neo," Yang stated.
"Wha-why can't I go in?" Jason questioned.
"You remember what you were like when Scarlet was born?" Ruby reminded as Jason had been panicking and wasn't really helpful.
"Okay yeah, fair enough, I'll uh…sit on the couch," Jason replied as he sat on his couch, and Ruby and Yang entered the room to help Neo.
"Hey, Neo, we're here, so there's nothing to worry about," Yang announced as she and Ruby entered the bedroom, bringing a smile to Neo's face as she felt another contraction.
"Okay, Neo, just stay calm and keep a steady breath," Ruby advised as Yang held her hand.
"I always forget how good you are at this." Yang laughed.
"Well, since you couldn't help with the other's when they gave birth, I had to step up." Ruby declared proudly.
"Aw, you grew up so fast!" Yang teased.
"Uh, not now." Ruby sighed as they continued to help Neo.
With Jason, he was currently informing everyone via scroll that Neo was in labor and his daughter wanted to come back with Nicole. He told her that once the baby was born, she would be the first one he picked up.
As he waited for hours, he tapped his foot on the ground out of both worry and impatience for the new baby was born. Even though he was already a father, it wasn't any easier as he was nervous about the new arrival.
"Will the kid have a tail? Will they be able to talk? Oh, Kai's above what if neither happens?" Jason thought as Yang came out of the bedroom.
"Hey, big guy, you're now a proud father of a little baby boy!" Yang exclaimed.
"Really? Wait, I don't hear any crying." Jason pointed out.
"He's a mute like Neo," Ruby explained as she joined Yang.
"And he's so cute!" Ruby added.
"Thanks for helping you two." Jason thanked as he entered the room to join his wife.
Neo was still lying on the bed and was holding their new child, who, as promised, would be named Roman. He had Neo's hair and Jason's eyes along with a tail just like Scarlet. For a few minutes, Jason sat with Neo taking a look at their new baby.
"Hey there, little guy." Jason smiled as his son grabbed onto one of his fingers.
"I'm going to pick up your big sister so she can meet you, little guy," Jason said as he stood up.
"You okay?" Jason asked.
"Yep, Yang and Ruby are still here, so everything is fine," Neo responded.
"Okay, I'll be right back," Jason replied as he used Instant Transmission to go to the Arc home.
"Jason!" Jaune gasped as he suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Sorry, I'm here to pick up Scarlet." Jason apologized.
"Oh yeah, Neo gave birth, didn't she?" Pyrrha asked as she came downstairs with Nicole and Scarlet.
"Yep, and I thought you were on a mission?" Jason pointed out.
"I just got back, and Weiss is in town as well," Pyrrha responded.
"That's great," Jason replied as Scarlet ran up to him.
"So was it a girl or a boy?" Scarlet asked,
"Scarlet, you now have a little brother," Jason answered.
"A brother? I wanted a sister, but that's still exciting!" Scarlet exclaimed.
"Mom, can I go with Scarlet to see the baby?" Nicole inquired.
"Sorry, but you're going to have to wait a few days. Newborn babies are very delicate." Pyrrha explained to her daughter.
"Congratulations, though." Pyrrha congratulated.
"Thanks. I'll let you know when you can come and see the baby." Jason replied as he used Instant Transmission to go home.
When they got there, Scarlet greeted Ruby and Yang before she walked with her father into the bedroom to see her mother and new baby brother. She instantly loved him as she sat next to her mother, looking at him.
"He's so small." Scarlet complimented.
"Well, baby's come out small, but he'll grow," Jason explained.
"What's his name?" Scarlet asked.
"Roman. Roman Shin." Jason responded.
"Hi, Roman. I'm your big sister Scarlet!" Scarlet exclaimed.
"Hey, Jason, not to be a bother but mind sending us back home. Since we're not needed, I don't want Dad to teach Milo anything I don't want him to." Yang requested.
"Yeah, no problem. Thanks again for helping." Jason thanked.
"It's no problem. I'm always happy to help out and see new babies." Ruby smiled.
"If you like babies so much, maybe you should have one, Ruby." Jason teased as Ruby looked down as she was still single at twenty-three. After Jason returned them home, he came back to his family.
Earth Satan City…
Gohan sat in class as he listened closely to the lecture the teacher was giving while other students barely paid attention. As Gohan took notes, Videl eyed him intently. She had been suspicious of the boy ever since his performance at the baseball game the prior day.
The Half Saiyan did his best to ignore her, but it was hard as his natural battle instincts always alerted him when she stared at him. He just hoped that today she wouldn't try to follow him home like she did the previous day.
"Now for homework, I want you all to read pages two hundred thirty-one through two hundred fifty-five. Enjoy your lunch." The teacher announced as the bell rang.
Everyone got up and went to lunch as Gohan stayed back and got his things together. Though in actuality, he took his time to avoid being watched by Videl any more than he already was. When he was ready, he left the classroom and placed his things in his locker.
Gohan then made his way to the cafeteria, which had many food options. To his surprise, it seemed the school had gotten many items from local restaurants. He had brought his own lunch the day prior but left a little too early today for such a thing.
"Guess I should buy some food, though. I should probably keep it light, so it doesn't look weird." Gohan thought as he walked up and got enough food to feed four people.
"Videl, is something wrong you seem distracted?" Erasa inquired.
"It's nothing," Videl responded.
"Are you sure because you've been staring at the new boy Gohan all day? Don't tell me you like him?" Erasa questioned to Videl's surprise.
"Wha-NO! That's not it at all. He just seems odd, that's all." Videl explained.
"Seeing as he took a baseball to the face, I guess that isn't exactly wrong." Erasa laughed as Videl's eyes widened.
"What? What's going on?" Erasa asked as she turned to look at what Videl was looking at.
She herself was shocked to see Gohan eating so much food like it was nothing, and the same went for many in the cafeteria. Though Gohan had thought he had gotten a light amount of food, he didn't realize that he had still gotten a large amount.
"Where is he putting all of that?" Erasa wondered as Videl remained speechless.
"I wonder why everyone is staring at me?" Gohan questioned as he finished his food.
"Who knew the nerd had a large stomach," Sharpner muttered as he stared in astonishment at Gohan.
"Well then, if he can hold that much food…" Sharpner thought as he picked up a little food to mess with Gohan.
"Let's see you dodge something you won't see coming!" Sharpner smirked as he threw it at Gohan.
However, Gohan had noticed the move and pretended to drop something so that he could dodge without it looking too suspicious. The food flew right over Gohan but much to his and Sharpner's dismay, it hit another student.
This ended up resulting in a cafeteria-wide food fight where nearly every student took part save Gohan, Videl, Erasa, and a few others. As Gohan slowly made his way out of the cafeteria, he noticed a piece of food head towards Videl and picked up a tray and threw it to block it.
When she was clear, Gohan left, but Videl had just noticed the move, surprised at Gohan's accuracy. This made her that much more curious about the Half Saiyan as she decided to investigate him more.
Hours Later…
Gohan walked the streets of Satan City as he waited for the best chance to switch to his costume, but once again, he was being followed by Videl. He was going to just run and lose her when several police cars drove by in a hurry.
"Something big must be going on," Gohan noted as Videl ran off to see what was going on.
"Well, at least now I can change into my costume." Gohan thought as he ran into an alley and pressed on his watch to change into his suit.
"It's time for defender of justice to save the day!" Gohan smirked as he flew off. He flew off to where he sensed Videl's energy and arrived soon after seeing a bank robbery in progress.
"Thank goodness, Videl, you're here!" One of the police officers exclaimed.
"We need help getting the hostages out of there!" Another pointed out.
"Don't worry, I got this!" Videl declared.
"Are they crazy? She'll get herself killed in there!" Gohan thought as he dropped down and broke through the bank roof, entering the lobby.
"What the hell!" One of the robbers gasped.
"Who the heck is this guy!?" Another questioned.
"I and the Great Saiyaman villain! Surrender now, and I promise not to hurt you!" Gohan stated as he did the voice.
"This guy's just some idiot shoot him!" The leader ordered as the robbers opened fire on Gohan.
The Half Saiyan easily caught each and every one of the bullets before letting them drop to the ground. Before any of the robbers could comprehend what could happen, Gohan rushed in and knocked them all out.
"They're shooting in there!" A cop shouted.
"I'm going in!" Videl declared, but just as she took the first step of the bank steps, all the hostages ran out as the robbers were tossed into a heap.
"What just happened?" A cop questioned as Gohan walked out smiling.
"Who are you?!" Videl asked.
"I am the defender of justice! Hero to all! I am the Great Saiyaman!" Gohan declared as he made another pose.
Everyone present was speechless at the current situation. They were both shocked about how fast Gohan took care of the situation and the goofy pose he was making. An awkward silence fell through the area as no one moved an inch before Gohan broke the silence.
"Well…uh, my work here is done! Farewell!" Gohan said as he flew off.
"Wha-what?" Videl questioned as she watched Gohan fly away.
"Maybe I should stop with the poses." Gohan thought as he flew home.
Remnant Shin Household…
A few days passed since Roman was born and today was the day Jason and Neo decided to have a party to celebrate his birth. Everyone who could come arrived to congratulate Jason and Neo and to see the newborn boy.
The few that couldn't come were Elias and Amber, who were busy running the orphanage, Nora and Ren, who were on a mission. And finally, Blake and Sun who were busy in Menagerie. From those who did come were spread around the house.
Yang, Pyrrha, and Neo were talking with one another mostly about being mothers. Weiss, Ruby, and Jaune were catching up in another corner while Jason conversed with Damian and Alex. The kids who had come all were gathered around Roman, who was sleeping in a crib.
"He's so cute!" Nicole exclaimed.
"I wish I had a little brother," Milo commented, knowing that he would stay a single child as his father was dead.
"You should see how much he eats too!" Scarlet laughed. She explained how he had drunk two gallons of milk the day prior.
While Neo would normally breastfeed, both her children were Half Saiyan, so it was easier said than done to do so. So she and Jason had decided when Scarlet was born to give their children regular milk or formula.
"I wish I had a little brother too." Nicole sighed as she walked over to her mother.
"Mom," Nicole called.
"Yes, dear, what is it?" Pyrrha inquired as she knelt down to her daughter's level.
"Can I have a little brother too?" Nicole asked as Pyrrha went wide-eyed, and Yang and Neo laughed behind her.
"We-well I uh…that's something your father and I have yet to discuss, dear, so don't give your hopes up." Pyrrha stuttered, trying to not get too specific with her daughter.
"So, how's work been, Weiss?" Ruby inquired.
"It's good, Blake, and I have been working on giving faunus more protection. Even though my father is no longer CEO after my 'hostile' takeover and with the new civil rights laws, I need to clean up the mess." Weiss explained.
"How about you?" Weiss asked.
"I've been good. I usually travel a lot before taking long breaks in Patch to patrol and babysit my little nephew!" Ruby responded.
"Wow, both of you sound like your lives are pretty exciting." Jaune sighed.
"Hey, being a househusband is still pretty cool!" Ruby teased.
"I'm not a househusband! I still go on missions with Pyrrha from time to time." Jaune stated.
"Isn't that only when Nicole is with Scarlet here, though?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah." Jaune deadpanned.
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with your life Jaune. Be proud of yourself." Weiss encouraged.
"Thanks, Weiss." Jaune thanked.
"Man, two kids already, I can't believe you." Damian laughed.
"Hey, what's so funny about that?" Jason questioned.
"Nothing, it's just still odd seeing you as a dad," Damian explained.
"Yeah, well, maybe if you had kids, you would understand," Jason replied.
"Good point," Alex said.
"How's that dating game been going for you two anyway?" Jason asked.
"Well, we haven't been looking as of late, so not great." Damian sighed.
"Well, one day, I'm sure you'll find the right one for you, pal," Jason assured as he patted Damian's shoulder.
"Thanks, man," Damian replied as a knock came from the door.
"I thought everyone was here, weren't they?" Yang asked as everyone turned to look at the door.
"Yeah," Jason responded as he walked to the door.
He opened the door and was met with a strange sight. There were two men standing before him. One was tall with pink skin and long silver hair along with green earrings, and the other was small with light purple skin and a silver mohawk wearing yellow earrings.
"Um, can I help you?" Jason asked.
"Yes, would you happen to be Jason Shin?" The smaller man inquired.
"Yes, that's me. May I ask who you are?" Jason asked as the man's presence was off-putting.
"I'm sorry to interrupt such a festive matter, but I come to you on an urgent matter." The man began.
"I am the Supreme Kai." Supreme Kai introduced himself as Jason went wide-eyed.
"The…the Supreme Kai!" Jason shouted, waking up Roman.
"Oh, crap." Jason sighed as he turned around though his wife beat him to the punch to comfort their son.
"Wait? Supreme Kai like the god that was supposed to be of higher power than the other Kai's?" Yang questioned, having had a crash course of the Kai hierarchy from Evan.
"That is correct, I am he. You may call me Shin, and yes, I do see the irony at the moment." Shin responded as everyone stared at him.
"This is my assistant Kibito." Shin introduced.
"Daddy, what's a Supreme Kai?" Scarlet inquired, confused at what was going on.
"He's…uh…he's god sweetheart," Jason explained as he knelt down to her level.
"But I thought King Kai was god." Scarlet pointed out having been told about the Northern Kai from her father.
"Correct little one, the Northern Kai is a god, though to be more precise, I am the god of the lower Kai's." Shin clarified.
"Does that mean I have to pray to him?" Scarlet asked.
"Well…uh…" Jason stuttered as he was very unfamiliar with the workings of the Supreme Kai.
"No, you don't need to pray to me, child," Shin answered, easing Jason.
"What do I owe the pleasure, sir?" Jason asked as he got back up.
"Yes, getting back on point, I'm sorry to burst such a happy moment, but as I said before, I have come on an urgent matter." Shin began.
"We request your aid, Mr. Shin, as the universe may be in grave danger." Kibito continued for Shin.
"Let's take this outside if you don't mind." Jason requested not wanting to have whatever conversation that was about to happen to occur in front of the kids.
"Of course." Shin agreed as the three went outside, and Jason closed the door.
"Is something bad happening?" Scarlet questioned, becoming worried. But her worries were put to rest as her mother placed her hand on her shoulder and comforted her.
"I hope not," Yang whispered.
"Okay, so what's going on?" Jason asked as he stood before Shin and Kibito.
"Yes, I'm afraid I am here to ask for your help as I fear Majin Buu may soon awaken," Shin answered as Jason stood stock still as the memory of Sekai's last words went through his head.
"Be..ware Ma…ji…n B…uu…" Sekai had warned.
"Majin Buu?! But I thought he wasn't real! King Kai looked everywhere!" Jason pointed out.
"Yes, well, the matter of Majin Buu is an ordeal that is much older than the Northern Kai or any of the current lower Kai's." Shin began.
"Majin Buu does indeed exist though he was sealed away several millennia ago before the original breach to the demon realm was closed." Shin continued.
"I was alive at the time though I was still a Supreme Kai in training, but I remember the monster Majin Buu very clearly," Shin stated.
"So he is real." Jason thought as he was glad he had trained so much.
"Wait, but if he is real, why didn't you tell King Kai or any of the others?" Jason questioned.
"The same reason I did not go after the two halves of Zandaka when they stole the relics. As the Supreme Kai, I am not fully allowed to interfere with the goings of mortals." Shin began.
"That includes interacting with the lower Kais, for it is not my place. It is the job of the destroyer though he is currently asleep." Shin continued.
"I've always trusted that everything would work out as the lower Kais were the ones to split Zandaka in the first place, but Majin Buu is another story," Shin said as he got more serious.
"Majin Buu is a terrifying monster that was created by an evil wizard named Bibidi with a special concoction. He was strong enough to destroy several Solar Systems without breaking a sweat." Shin explained.
"My mentor, the Supreme Kai at the time, and I were forced to act. If nothing was done, all life would have been eradicated. Eventually, Bibidi was forced to seal Majin Buu away as he was too strong to control, giving me the opportunity to kill Bibidi." Shin continued.
"Sadly, before that happened, Buu had killed my mentor, leaving me alone to clean up their mess. But now Bibidi's son is planning to unleash Majin Buu once more!" Shin proclaimed.
"That is why we need you, the warrior who defeated both Zandaka and his brother Sekai. Only you may have the strength to defeat the monster should he be revived." Kibito stated.
"I see," Jason murmured as he processed the information that was just explained to him.
"Okay, I'll help you because I'll be damned if I'll let this monster that has been in my thoughts all these years threaten the universe, especially now that I'm a father!" Jason declared.
"Excellent. I thank you for your aid. But if I may, would you please demonstrate your power for us." Shin requested.
"Oh, sure," Jason replied as he took off his shirt so that it wouldn't be torn apart.
With a loud scream, Jason powered up, shaking the planet as he ascended to Super Saiyan Primal. The very energy he exerted shocked both Kibito and Shin, who were astonished by Jason's power.
"Amazing with this much power, he may even be able to beat Buu himself should he be revived!" Shin exclaimed as Jason powered down and put his shirt back on.
"Never could I think that a mortal could become so strong!" Kibito gasped.
"I'm a lot stronger than I was when I fought both Zandaka and Sekai, so I hope I'll be strong enough for this Majin Buu," Jason smirked.
"Yes, I do have to say your power is on par with Majin Buu's when I battled him many years ago." Shin agreed.
"So are we going now?" Jason asked.
"I'm afraid not. Babidi has hidden himself on Earth where Majin Buu resides and has taken the sealed Buu away. We must wait for him to make his move so that we can find him." Shin explained.
"You see, in order to revive Buu, he needs massive amounts of energy to do so, and the best way to get that is finding strong fighters." Shin began.
"So he'll be coming to me?" Jason theorized.
"No, he will not leave Earth, and so he will find the energy he needs there," Kibito answered.
"Eventually, he will be searching for the energy, and we believe we know exactly where he'll start," Shin stated.
"On Earth, there will be a World Martial Arts Tournament. No doubt strong fighters will be there, making it a target of Babidi's scheme." Shin explained.
"So you want to go to the tournament?" Jason asked.
"No I want to participate to give Babidi more of a reason to show himself." Shin clarified.
"I see," Jason murmured.
"It is in one month's time, and you are free to decline help. I will not force you." Shin said.
"No, I will help. I've been thinking about Majin Buu for the past five years since I beat Sekai. Like I said before, I will not let this creature run rampant." Jason replied.
"Thank you." Shin thanked.
"We shall return to you when the time is right to go to Earth," Kibito added.
"Wait, what about my friends on Earth? Shouldn't we tell them about this?" Jason asked.
"We will in time. But for now, we need the element of surprise, which is why we came to you first." Shin explained.
"Fine, but I need your word that we will inform them," Jason said.
"You have it," Shin replied.
"Thanks. Would you two like to come in for a while?" Jason offered.
"No, thank you. We must leave." Shin declined.
"Until we next meet," Shin said.
"Kai Kai." Kibito chanted as he and Shin disappeared. Jason then entered his home again, and once he did, everyone was curious about what was going on.
"What's going on? Did something bad happen?" Yang questioned.
"Are you in trouble with god Dad?" Scarlet asked.
"What's happening?!" Ruby inquired.
"It's fine. The Supreme Kai just wanted to talk to me." Jason responded.
"But he said he came on an urgent matter." Weiss reminded.
"Don't tell me the universe is in danger again?" Neo asked as she held onto Roman.
"Hey Scarlet, how about you, Nicole, and Milo play outside for a little bit," Jason suggested.
"Dad, is something bad going on?" Scarlet asked.
"No, of course not, there's nothing to worry about," Jason assured his daughter. Scarlet nodded and, with Nicole and Milo, went outside.
"Jason, what's going on?" Jaune inquired.
"It's about Majin Buu," Jason answered as everyone was shocked.
"Wait but wasn't Majin Buu not real?" Damian questioned.
"Turns out he is very real. According to the Supreme Kai, he was sealed millennia ago by its creator." Jason began as he explained the story told to him by Shin.
"So you're going to Earth in a month then to participate in this tournament to lure out Babidi?" Alex asked.
"That's right," Jason answered.
"Knowing you, you're excited about the tournament," Damian said.
"Actually, I'm more worried about Majin Buu to think about this tournament," Jason replied as Neo approached him.
"Be honest with me how dangerous will this be?" Neo inquired, concerned for both her husband and their children if Majin Buu were to be revived.
"Probably more dangerous than Sekai and Zandaka," Jason responded.
"If that's the case, I guess they need you but don't get yourself killed." Neo requested.
"Of course," Jason replied.
"Well, that's not for another month, so let's get back to what we're all here for!" Jason smiled as he got everyone to go back to celebrating.
But in the back of Jason's mind, he was still thinking about Majin Buu. He had the feeling things were going to be much harder than how Shin had put it. Hopefully, they would ideally stop this Babidi from ever reviving Buu, but if they couldn't.
Well, Jason didn't want to think about that as he wouldn't allow Buu to be revived. Plus, he will have the help of his friends from Earth after all. For now, he will train and prepare for the upcoming battle.
Earth Satan City…
Videl was getting irritated. For the past couple of days, this Great Saiyaman had been stealing her thunder, stopping every crime in the city. That was her duty to stop crime, yet somehow this guy was doing it far faster and better than her.
She didn't know how she would do it, but she was going to find out who Great Saiyaman was. Currently, she was in class, barely paying attention as the teacher went on with the lecture. But her attention was brought back to reality when her watch went off.
"What's happening?" Videl inquired as she picked up the call.
"There's a grand theft auto of a bus downtown Videl. We need your help!" The officer reported as Videl hopped out of her seat and ran out of the room.
As she ran out, she heard footsteps behind her and quickly turned around to see Gohan exit the classroom and run in the opposite direction. She was curious about what he was doing but decided to focus on the grand theft auto instead.
Videl got to the roof and took out a capsule copter to fly over to where the grand theft auto was in progress. She flew off at top speed, but to her surprise, Great Saiyaman sped right past her coming from behind.
"Wait, but if he came from behind me, then…" Videl thought as she turned and looked at her school.
"Is he a student?" Videl wondered as she remembered how Gohan ran out of the room.
"Well, Gohan, let's see if you really are the Great Saiyaman," Videl smirked as she continued on her way.
When she arrived, Gohan had stopped the bus from moving as some of the thugs got on the roof. Videl returned her copter to her capsule and dropped down, easily taking down the thugs. Gohan finished the rest of them off when he opened the bus and entered.
As Gohan unloaded the thugs, Videl tossed the ones on the roof to the ground before jumping off herself. Before she could interrogate Gohan, the police finally caught up and apprehended the criminals.
"Thanks, you two!" A cop thanked as Videl turned her attention to Gohan.
"So you're the Great Saiyaman," Videl stated as she glared at Gohan.
"Uh…that's right I am, and while I don't like to see citizens in danger, you were impressive, Videl!" Gohan complimented making the mistake of saying Videl's name.
"I knew it!" Videl realized.
"So, how did you get out of class?" Videl asked, hoping Gohan would slip up once more.
"I told the teacher I had to go to the bathroom…" Gohan began before covering his mouth, realizing he gave himself away.
"I knew it was you, Gohan!" Videl smirked.
"Can you keep it down, please I don't want people knowing that I'm the Great Saiyaman." Gohan requested.
"Fine, but you better answer my questions, though," Videl replied as she brought out her capsule copter.
"Get in," Videl stated as Gohan complied, and they flew off.
"You know, I didn't think it would be so easy to find out your secret. I'm surprised that it was so easy to get you to confess." Videl said.
"Yeah, well, to be honest, I'm not used to keeping secrets or even spending lots of time with people my age," Gohan explained.
"People our age, are you sheltered or something?" Videl asked.
"Something like that," Gohan responded as he took off his helmet.
"So what's with the get-up and Great Saiyaman stuff?" Videl inquired.
"Because I want to live a normal life, but at the same time, I don't want to stand by and do nothing when I can help people like I can," Gohan answered.
"I see, so are you also the golden-haired warrior?" Videl asked.
"No, not at all. He's someone else entirely." Gohan lied, not wanting that secret out. If anyone knew, they might find out he was the boy who fought against Cell.
"I guess I can't be mad at you for wanting to help people then, and this does explain some of your weird behavior." Videl sighed.
"So, how are you so strong?" Videl asked.
"I've been training since I was young," Gohan answered.
"Does that include learning that trick to make you look like your flying?" Videl inquired.
"It's not a trick. I can really fly." Gohan clarified.
"But my Dad said stuff like that was only tricks!" Videl argued.
"Well, there are things about the world many don't know about," Gohan replied.
"So he can really fly, and he's pretty strong. This could be interesting." Videl smiled.
"Say Gohan, are you participating in the twenty-fifth world martial arts tournament?" Videl asked.
"Uh no, not really," Gohan answered.
"So how about you join then," Videl replied.
"But why?" Gohan questioned.
"Because no one who usually participates is a challenge for me, and I want to have some fun," Videl explained.
"As the daughter of the current champion, it's hard to even find a challenge, and the only person who could probably be one is you and my Dad." Videl continued.
"Sadly, no other champions from previous years have come back either the champion before my Dad was someone named Son Goku," Videl stated as Gohan began to sweat.
"Please don't put two and two together. Please don't put two and two together." Gohan begged.
"Wait a minute, isn't your name Son Gohan?" Videl questioned.
"Y-Yeah…Son Goku is uh…my Dad," Gohan answered, cursing the fact that she put two and two together.
"Really, that's great. That makes it even more of a reason to enter!" Videl exclaimed.
"But I can't participate if I do, people will find out about me!" Gohan declined.
"Well, if you don't, then I'll tell everyone that you are the Great Saiyaman," Videl stated as Gohan looked at her in shock.
"Wha-bu-I…okay, I'll enter." Gohan sighed, caving into Videl.
"Good, I can't wait. Also, I want to learn how to fly." Videl replied.
"Sure, whatever you want," Gohan said as they landed at their school.
"Why is it that every girl I know is like this?" Gohan questioned.
"Hopefully, Mom won't get too mad." Gohan thought as he and Videl returned to class.
Five years have passed, and now once again, the universe is in danger! The Supreme Kai has come to request Jason's help to prevent the revival of Majin Buu. Jason has agreed to help him and go to Earth to participate in the twenty-fifth world martial arts championship to lure Babidi out.
Gohan has started his new high school life, but with Videl learning of his secret, he too must now participate in the tournament. Will, our heroes, be able to prevent Majin Buu's revival, or will the insidious monster rise from his slumber?

Author's Note:
Woo! What a doozy. Hopefully, this chapter doesn't come off as overstuffed, but I wanted all this to happen in this chapter. Next chapter will be the time before the world martial arts tournament.
So off the bat, Scarlet is back though this time, it's going to be main timeline Scarlet. Though in reality, I don't know if it's possible if you think about how the two different timelines work, and since main timeline Scarlet was born a few years after Mirai Scarlet.
I don't know if that works, but you know what? I'm not going to question it. I'm going to have some chapters in the future show development of the kid characters, all of them. Except for Viridian, as honestly, she was a more recent addition.
Though I did say I would leave Emerald's fate up in the air, I just thought about the whole her getting with Asher a while back and just thought it worked. Finally, this fic is only ten favs away from two hundred! I can taste it, and I'm very excited. Now to the reviews.
Reviews:
P6lishb6kser – I wouldn't say Dabura is stronger than SSJ4 as I did show that both Sekai and Zandaka were stronger than him (Sekai even stated that he was stronger). Though he will be stronger than cannon.
Colossus Bridger – I'm glad you enjoyed the references, and as for Buu and his fate, you'll just have to wait and see!
