I look at Moon for a second. Hawk nudges me and Aisha gives me a suggestive smile. I walk up to Moon and we go inside and to an empty part of the house.

"So what's up?" I ask taking a sip of my rum and coke mixer.

"Well... I wanted to say that this is a great party," Moon says awkwardly and stumbles slightly due to alcohol.

I remember her saying she didn't drink, but she's obviously drunk right now.

"Thanks, im glad you're enjoying it. But I don't think you pulled me off the side just to complement my house party," I say folding my arms and giving a teasing smile.

"Oh really the great Murphy is too good for a simple compliment from little old me," she teases while putting her hands on her hips and smiling.

"I actually wanted to tell you something," I say.

"I'm all ears," she says grinning.

"Oh boy," I exhale anxiously and Moon giggles.

I clear my throat and bite the bullet.

"Moon, ever since Halloween, my life has been this weird mess of things that somehow came together to make something beautiful. Ive regretted yelling at you no matter how justified it was at the time. I know we moved in from it, but I still can't get over how much I regret everything. However, one thing I certainly was never able to move past was you. Moon, you were this light in a very dark room. Being around you, it made the entire room light up and breaking up with you was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I'm sorry, I'm dorking out, but the point is that I love you Moon. I think I really knew it when you embraced me despite my issues and I never truly stopped. I understand if you don't wanna get back together, but I—" I say wearing my heart on my sleeve.

Moon cuts me off by smashing her lips against mine. The kiss last an eternity and for a bit, there's nothing else in the world, just this moment. We separate and Moon looks at me with watery eyes.

"I love you to," she says.

I look up with a smile and see a fucking mistletoe hanging on the doorframe. Courtesy of my mom, but how fucking cliche.

"Look," I say pointing at it.

Moon looks at it then grins from ear to ear. We kiss again.

"Merry Christmas," she whispers.

"Merry Christmas, Princess," I whisper while caressing her cheek.

"Wanna go upstairs?" She asks.

"Yeah," I whisper.

We make our way through the crowd. I see Hawk and Demetri looking over at me. The see my arm wrapped around Moon and Hawk grabs Demetri's shoulders and starts celebrating. Demetri is laughing while drinking his Dr. Pepper. The first thing I see grosses me out when re get to the top of the stairs. I see McCarthy walk out of our guest room shirtless with one cheerleader in each arm. Both chicks are absolutely inebriated and wearing a bra and panties. They're both hot. Gotta hand it to McCarthy.

"Hey man," he drinkingly slurs with a joking smile.

I force a smile do a small wave as Moon and I go into my room. Thank God I locked my door and established the one rule about hooking up. Not in my room or my parents' room. If two people wanna do the nasty, they go in my brother's room, the guest room, the game room, or just say fuck it and make out in the middle of the drunk crowd outside.

As soon as I close the door behind us, Moon throws her arms around my neck and sloppily kisses me.

"Jeez aren't we excited today," I tease and pick her up.

I sound either like a dork or a douche, but at the moment, I couldn't care less. She wraps her legs around my waist and I fall back on the bed. Despite her passive personality, she was usually in charge of the physical aspect of our relationship. I may be a fighter, but I usually let the girls rule in the bedroom. I've yet to cash my V-card and I'm in no hurry, but making out is always fun. However, this was something else. It was like there was nothing else that mattered at the moment, just me and the girl of my dreams enjoying our night. We separate to catch our breath and both let out a silent laugh. I put my head on my pillow and Moon leans her head down on my chest and smiles into my sweater. I go for it and take it off along with my T-shirt. She bites her lip and smiles.

"What? Like what you see?" I tease.

"No," she says sarcastically.

I laugh and we kiss again. She takes off her Jean jacket and removes her tank top. She's just in her white bra and skinny jeans. My brother told me all about how hot skin to skin contact was. I never thought it would be this good. We feel the heat of each other's bodies and we started out frantic and needy, but eventually, the kissing grew more affectionate. I let out a small gasp as Moon begins to kiss my neck.

"I guess someone's ticklish," she whispers in my ear before playfully nipping my ear lobe.

"Hey," I whisper in a joking whiny tone.

"So, why don't you show me a few moves," she whispers seductively.

I smile and roll us over to where I'm on top. I lean down to kiss her, but stop right before.

"Wanna tap out?" I tease.

With astounding strength, she flips us back over and pins my hands down. Not that I'm resisting in the slightest. She gently lets go of my hands.

"Do you?" She teases back.

I stay silent and just smile. She leans closer to me slowly.

"I said. Do. You. Want. To. Tap. Out?" She whispers.

I gently pat her ass twice and she finally gives me what I want. After we finish making out, we're just cuddling on my bed.

"I missed this," she says into my chest.

"Things are worth waiting for," I say smirking and kiss her gently.

"Let's head down," I say.

I put my shirt and sweater back on and Moon puts her top back on and we go downstairs. We enjoy the rest of the night. Hawk and I go on a 7 game winning streak in beer pong. We even have a handshake by the end of it. It starts with us smacking a fist together on the top the bottom. Then we clap our hands together and do a quick chest bump. Finally, around midnight, I get a text from my parents telling me that they're on their way home. The party has winded down for the most part and we've changed to chill music as everyone is inside now. The 8 of us from the woods remain along with Sam, Aisha, Moon, and a few kids from school the dojo. Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri are staying over, but the rest of us are just hanging out.

"Alright, truth or dare," one of the cheerleaders shouts.

Thankfully not one of the ones with McCarthy. I think he took both of them home. If they made streaks on our sheets I'm gonna beat him up again.

"What are we in middle school?" I say laughing.

"Who knows maybe it could be fun," Tracey says.

"Doesn't hurt," Miguel says shrugging.

"Oh I wouldn't ask me because I always go with truth," Demetri says putting his hands up for emphasis.

"Cmon don't be so lame," Hawk says playfully nudging Demetri's shoulder.

"I dare myself to give Mel a big smooch," Hawk says and dips Mel down and kisses her right in front of all of us.

He picks her back up and hugs her close.

"Alright, Murphy, truth or dare?" One of the cheerleaders asks.

I decide to take a risk and go for dare.

"Swap spit with Emily here," she says motioning to her blonde cheerleader friend who subtly smiles at me.

She is blonde and has blue eyes and freckles across her face, but the perfect amount and not too many. She's absolutely gorgeous, but I have a girlfriend.

"Well that's not an option," I say.

"Why?" The cheerleader asks.

"I'm booked already," I say and wrap my arm around Moon's shoulders.

"So you two are back together, nice," Miguel says smiling as he sits with Sam on the smaller couch.

To my confusion, Amelia gives me a look of pain and shock. She looks hurt for some reason. Did I say something while intoxicated to get under her skin. She must notice because she blinks rapidly and just smiles at me. Her naturally rosy cheeks looks slightly redder than usual and her barely visible freckles glow. I wonder what's wrong. She and Tracey start to talk secretly in the corner. My new dare is to make mixed drinks for everyone. I was waiting for this moment.

"I thought you'd never ask," I say confidently and go to the kitchen.

Demetri follows me to the kitchen.

"So, you and her," he teases nudging me.

I chuckle. "Yeah," I say smiling.

"Heeey! About time. Unfortunately, I haven't reached the astute mental stupidity to indulge myself in the rapid consumption of alcohol," Demetri says in his Sheldon voice.

"Hey man, it's the holidays, you can drink whatever you want," I say encouragingly patting him on the shoulder.

I grab a watermelon and begin to cut it. They are only in season during the summertime, but my mom found this supermarket with these amazing fruits that taste great year round. I put watermelon, ice, and coconut milk in the blender and press the button. Once the slush is mixed, I pour two shots of Malibu into each glass.

I also pour eggnog and bring it out on a tray. I would make vodka peppermint shakes to celebrate the holidays, but the mint chip ice cream is mine and mine only.

"Alright, so you guys ready to try the Murphy special?" I ask with a smirk.

"Looks like a watermelon slushy," hawk says.

"It's called the mallowmelon breeze," I say.

"Watermelon, ice, coconut milk, and two shots of Malibu," I say and everyone tries it.

"Oh my God, this is amazing," Mel says putting her hand on her mouth.

Miguel, Sam, and I clink our glasses together and drink.

"To the holidays," I say holding my glass up.

We all toast and drink. Once we finish our drinks, everyone leaves. We say our goodbyes and Miguel and Sam have a slightly longer hug than friends typically have.

"We'll clean up tomorrow," I say looking around at all the mess.

"Sounds good. Plus I need a shower," Hawk says.

Luckily, the guest room isn't badly damaged. Just messy, but I expected it to reek like a strip club at 6am, but we change the sheets. I go into my room and give myself my insulin shot and go to figure out sleeping arrangements. Hawk's hair looks hilarious. It's all disheveled in patches of red and green.

"What?" He asks defensively when I laugh at him.

"Dude, you went from Hawk to reggae like that," I say and snap my fingers.

He does his usual angry snare and puts on a beanie he brought.

"Cmon Hawk, I was just messing around," I say starting to feel bad.

"No I always wear it when I don't have the mohawk. Don't sweat it brah," he answers dismissively.

Hawk is definitely sobered up. Showers do that for a person.

"Alright so Demetri called the guest bed, Miguel called my brother's room so you can crash on the game room couch," I say.

Miguel was quite intoxicated, but was good at hiding it so he passed out in my brother's room after we gave Demetri clean sheets.

"Cool. I'm not even that tired," he answers.

"I am," I reply.

"Cmon, one game of COD. Snipers only," Hawk begs.

"If you beat me, it's cause I'm drunk," I say and burp halfway through my sentence.

Hawk absolutely creams me in the game and I'm just laughing. We decide to watch The Hangover. Luckily, the game room couch is huge so I lean against the corner while Hawk rests on the other side with his feet almost touching my head. Thank God he's under a blanket.

"Dude, congrats on you and Moon getting back together. That's awesome bro," Hawk says grinning at me.

"Thanks. Congrats on things going smoothly with Mel. I can tell you two are gonna last a while," I say.

"Yeah man, I really like her. She never judged my lip or anything. She's perfect," Hawk says smiling to himself deep in thought.

It's a nice feeling to talk about girls to the kid who used to be the shy nerd.

"What lip? All I see is the mohawk," I tease.

Hawk chuckles.

"I need to tell you something. I wasn't gonna say anything because I thought it didn't matter, but screw it. I was in love with Moon for years," Hawk says shrugging.

This catches me off guard. No way.

"Wait really?" I say in awe.

"Yeah. Don't get the wrong idea. I'm in it with Mel and have no plans toward trying to steal her from you. Plus, your my bro and I wouldn't do that even if I was still pining," Hawk stammers out.

"Why didn't you ever say anything," I say curiously.

"Because I knew she liked you. Plus you and Miguel. You guys turned around everything for us. Before you two showed up, Demetri and I were losers and nerds. We were nobody. Then you show up and give us confidence. For years, Demetri always spoke for me and brought me down alongside him with his defeatist bullshit. Then you show up and force us to come out of our shell. You threw the most kick ass party in West Valley High history. I'm not saying that because it's my first rager. i heard everyone else saying that. I gotta admit, I was super jealous of you for a while. I mean I still liked you as a friend, but I resented how comfortable you were with your scars and how easy life seemed for you. I'm sorry about that I guess. I didn't know about the mafia and shit. That's really fucked man. Anyway, a few weeks ago, when we were all in the woods fighting Kyler and those guys, afraid for our lives, or I wasn't the hawk yet so I was pretty spooked to be honest. I realized how much of a brother you were. You were literally willing to die for us. So thanks man, you don't know how much you deserve," Hawk says genuinely.

I get up, walk over to Hawk and just hug him.

"Don't worry, I'll always be here. Also, I get it, about Demetri I mean. I get how he can sometimes rub people the wrong way, but remember, he was there for you when no one else was, he was the one who stood up for you with Sensei Lawrence and got humiliated as a result. Demetri is a true friend. He's a lot to handle sometimes, but he's always been in your corner. Just don't forget that. Not everyone has someone like that and believe me, true friends like that are hard to come by," I say.

"Yeah I know. But now, we're the ones on top. We're The Gang. And what does The Gang do?" Hawk asks with an open mouthed smile.

"Sticks together," I answer.

"Forever," he finishes.

"Forever," I say.

We finish the movie and I hit the sack. I fall asleep before my head hits the pillow.

Authors note: The party has come to an end at last. Btw I hope the makeout scene wasn't uncomfortable to read. Also, The characters were quite drunk, but writing them drunk isn't super easy so sorry if they seem too sober. Btw don't worry. I never write lemons because they're cringy and uncomfortable. The makeout scene is the closest thing Im ever gonna get. This show in particular shouldn't have lemons. The kids will certainly not have sex during the show or in my story so dont worry LMAO. Stuff like that makes the story unrealistic from the show and a little uncomfortable to read. Other than that, this chapter was a blast to write and I'm excited to continue the story.
