/Bow quest/

"So, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, what's the matter?"

Bennett sure can be a foolish lad sometimes. I swear he was near when the unthinkable happened, how could he not remember?

"Wasn't thy who was passing by and came to my aid? I have to admit, even thought a prinzessin should not fret in such a way, that it caught me off guard."

"I know, you shouted really loud."

"You do remember! Then what's with the foolish question?"

"I thought you said you would take your bow with Wagner."

"Despite being quite skilled in the art of smithery, he could not amend my weapon."

Then Oz reminded me my disgust once more: "Fortunately, Mein fraulein had a Seasoned Hunter's Bow at home to replace her prototype". I had invested many resources in my dear prototype, but the stars aligned so it would break at the slightest touch! I could not bear such hole in my soul. And now I had no option but to use the very first bow I used eons ago. I was about to stand up and go home so I could cry with no fear of being judged, but Bennett intervened:

"If you don't have enough minerals for a new bow, we can go gather them".

"But I do not own any prototype".

"Then let's go Ask Wagner where we can find a bow! Oh! But first you should finish your breakfast".

After we paid Sara for our food, both of us headed to the smithy. Once we arrived, Bennett was the one who asked; turned out that Wagner did not know any specific place where we could find a rare bow, but he suggested we should head to the library and ask Lisa (indeed a great chance to give her back the books I borrowed).

I told Bennett I had to go home so I could return the novels I took from the library. Sometimes I wonder what is on his mind.

"Oh, so we are going to your house? Can I go take a look?".

"Bennett! You shouldn't invite yourself like that! Aren't you forgetting who you are talking to? I, The Prinzessin der Verurteilung, shall not grant you access to my home (not yet)".

"Sorry! I thought it would be a whole new experience, since you are from another world, so I got exited".

I made sure to take all the books with me as fast as I could so Bennett wouldn't get impatient.

Once in the library, I was the one who spoke with Lisa. I was nervous that Bennett's luck would get in the way by damaging the books or the shelfs, so to make sure He was not going anywhere I grabbed his hand, just as if he was a kid. While I was discussing what I was looking for with Lisa she gave a little laugh.

"To be honest, darling, I didn't expect you would treat your boyfriend like this. Looks like you care about him a lot!".

I didn't blush. Well, maybe I did, but I wasn't at the library to talk about such topics.

"He is not my boyfriend! I'm just worried that he might break something!".

"She's right miss, I just happen to have awful look, but she seems to mitigate it".

Lisa just gave us a smug face.

"Whatever, where can we find a bow? I'm aware you are a pretty knowledgeable lady, miss Lisa".

"Well, If I were to look for special weapons, I would go to Stormterror's Liar. It wasn't until recently that the barrier surrounding the area dissolved. I know there should lie even legendary weapons like the bow of Amos. However, you will need a lot of help in such dangerous place".

Bennett got excited about the adventure. "Do not fear miss librarian! I can take care of this".

The face Lisa made after this statement made me want to be swallowed by the earth itself, but I cannot deny that it was kind of sweet coming from Bennett.

Fortunately, my sworn rival was absent during our stay in these ancient ruins. Thanks to Oz I could investigate the ruins that surrounded the main temple, but there was nothing of value. I tried to get into the main structure, however the barrier surrounding it was impossible to penetrate. It was Bennett who managed to find a gap in the barrier that we could use to get inside.

While walking around the tower to find the gap, we drew the attention of a ruin guard. I was clearly not suited for battle with my old bow, and Oz had to rest before I could use Nightrider. I did my best to hit the weak point of the automaton, but while I was trying to get a second hit in his eye, he ignored Bennett who was in close range, and instead turned around to shoot missiles at me. I don't remember exactly what happened, I just remember seeing Bennett's big smile, while feeling the warm of his Fantastic Voyage; I felt safe during this time. Before I knew it, Bennett had finished off the ruin guard and my wounds had healed.

Once inside, deep down into the tower, we found a domain with an ancient tree, larger than any other one I had ever seen. We both get through it with ease, since the only enemies within the domain where a bunch of slimes. Bennett was so happy about all the weapons the ley lines dropped, but he only took one, and so did I.

When we got outside, we kept on contemplating the remains of this city. It was all a little nostalgic but being with Bennett in such atmosphere sure made a good time for both fun and reflection. Somehow, we managed to get to the top of the tower to see the sunset together. I think I even took a glance of Celestia, but I'm not sure.

"Hey Fischl! Where was the entrance to the domain?"

I did not notice before, but now It was gone. Back at the library, Oz did his best to describe in great detail what we saw.

"A domain that leaves weapons instead of artifacts? There's not such a thing".

It sure was an adventure going to Stormterror's Liar. Bennett was still shocked.

"Can you imagine, prinzessin? We where the firsts ones to encounter a weapon domain! No one has ever done so before! We sure are lucky to have witnessed something like that."

"Indeed, we sure were in a good light from The Seven's perspective. We were blessed with an unique experience and a handsome reward for a task well performed".

"Yeah"

"…"

"…"

"I'm talking about you Bennett!"

"What? Me!?"

"Yes!... thankyouforsavingme"

"Oh! It was nothing! I told you and the librarian that I could handle it"

I never felt that I could rely on someone like this before. It feels strange to have a friend; that's it, after all this time, I finally made a friend.
