"I see, so he's choosing to eliminate the biggest threat..." Glao's voice resonated through the air as it showed the starry sky. He was soon exposed in the scene and his eyes were glued to Hateshiganai's backside. He and Kurimi stood outside of the temple waiting patiently for Hateshi to say something. Though from seeing all of those creatures he made emerge from the black liquid and charge out of the building, he pondered on what his master's plan was. "Sending out scouts to hunt down the half breed and their comrades to be rid of them all, would be the best course of action if he wishes to succeed in pursuing his destiny," he added and held the glass orb in his small hands. His emotionless purple eyes not once left Hateshi's back. The said master himself was standing on top of the dead hill and his attention was forward as if he knew exactly where Y/N and her gang were.

"I agree, sir. Though, what about my sister n' law? Queen Suji? If those creatures appear in Mamono City and she sees them scavenging for the half breed and her allies, then she'll be on guard immediately. She'd block off the entrances to the city, have everyone under lock-down, and force her people to stay within doors until those creatures are dealt with or have moved on past the city. She might even hide the half breed... She and the half breed are acquaintances and lord Sesshomaru is involved. He, the half breed, and his allies are going to be obstacles, including Queen Suji," Kurimi said quietly and closed her eyes, with a quick exhale through her nose.

"They shouldn't be too much of a problem for him. I'm certain his creatures can annihilate them effortlessly, they cannot be killed like other beings after all. As far as I've observed and contemplated on their pros and cons, their only weakness is sunbeams. Though, why they don't dissipate from contact of the sun during the day can only mean that they are connected to the Great Hateshiganai... They would need direct hits of the sun's rays or its substance to cause any harm while they're still connected to him. The sun, alone, won't deal any damage as long as the Great Hateshiganai himself is keeping them rejuvenated in a continuous manner." Glao's statement met her ears while he slowly began to step closer to his master.

"How would you know all of that, sir? I doubt you've watched them battle in person..." Kurimi asked before mentioning the latter. She sweatdropped and peered down at her boss with one eye, keeping the other one closed.

"Who was the one that kept in contact with our master...? Who was the one who pleaded for backup to the Great Hateshiganai and received those foreign creatures, that he crafts from black liquid...?" He asked her and peeked over his shoulder at her, with an expression of slight anger in his eyes.

"S-Sorry, sir...! You..of course... But, how did you communicate with him? I'm simply curious," She asked nervously and fiddled with her fingers while they remained clasped together.

"Telepathy... He speaks to me mentally. I am honestly curious if that's how he can speak... Originally being a walking corpse, I can understand that he has no voice or internal organs to use to communicate physically. Though, his creatures can speak, yet, they haven't spoken to us. It's as though they only respond to his mental words; which would explain their actions, such as bowing or nodding," he explained. Those creatures could physically talk, but now that their master is back up in action, they really had no need to anymore.

Hateshiganai's head not once moved from the direction it faced. Occasionally his head would lift up an inch or tilt just by a fraction, the two behind him guessed he was speaking to his creatures; like an Ant Queen to her million offsprings, in his case though, he'd be a King ant...

Finally, after five to ten minutes of standing there, maybe even longer...his head looked over his shoulder at the two behind him and gestured his head forward. He signaled them to follow after, so why he didn't mentally tell them to do so instead was beyond Glao... They did exactly that, Glao and Kurimi disappeared out of thin air after Hateshiganai did.

His master was fast...too fast. It was difficult to keep up with him, both Glao and Kurimi flew through the air as fast as they could. Hateshi had to slow down for them to catch up... Glao, who flew through the air on his glass orb that seemed to have grown bigger in size, watched as Kurimi caught up from behind using those mosquitoes from last time. "Where is he going?" she asked, blinked, and glanced over at her boss for an answer.

"My guess is, he found them. His creatures, as I said before, would be enough to take down those obstacles that are in his way. So, he either wished to watch from afar, or he's heading somewhere else that's in the half breed's direction. He seemed to have stopped using telepathy after he awakened from his deathbed... So I'm unsure of what his intentions are at this point. But, I dare not question his tactical thinking," he replied.

Hateshiganai was just levitating in the sky, soaring high above the trees in a horizontal position. "Great Hateshiganai...! Tell me, where should we take part in your plans?! If you plan to eliminate the biggest threat that's blocking the path to your destiny, then tell us what we must do to assist you!" Glao rose his voice so Hateshi could hear him.

Nothing but silence, it has been about a minute or two since he asked that and waited. Until... Mu gurava... Mu gurava tone veise... Ashlan Vividia bouwo, des kahn. Hateshi answered telepathically to the two behind him. Kurimi and Glao widened their eyes at his foreign tongue and glanced at each other for a second. The city... The city up ahead... Find Princess Bouwo, she's there. He translated to them, causing the short male fox demon to ponder on what he meant.

"Princess Bouwo... She was the Ketix that used the solar flares on you centuries ago. I'm sorry, master, she is no longer alive... Though I take it, the half breed's blood that I had Kurimi extract and pour into your casket, the half breed must be her descendant. She's in Mamono City, but, why do you wish to be rid of the Princess's descendant when she has done nothing wrong to you yet?" he questioned.

Without any warning, Hateshinagai's thin feet morphed into liquid and extended out after Glao. They were shaped into sharply pointed stakes, which nearly broke the fox's glass orb if Glao hadn't of swerved out of the way in time... From that, he knew Hateshi threatened him not to question him. The little fox expressed fear on his face, wide purple eyes and nervous beads of sweat. He never took his master to be the aggressive type... "Please, forgive me...master..." he gulped and lowered his head to show respect while inching back into his spot.

In one street in Mamono City where Sesshi who held Y/N in his arms and his gang were, the scene showed Miroku firing sun beams at an incoming blackened creature. "They just keep coming!" He shouted with devastated features and used his staff to block an attack from his left after the blackened creature he shot at, had exploded from the beams. He got sent backward and crashed into the wall of a building nearby.

The scene went in slow motion after Sango's giant boomerang came flying. Her boomerang had a Plexiglas outlining; tracing along all the sides of the boomerang except the grip that she could hold on to. It caught that creature by its midsection and with the heated sides of the boomerang, it sliced it in half and caused it to explode. It flew past a few of her friends in the gang and sliced through countless other black creatures that came charging after them; each one it'd cut through, an explosion would occur. With ease, Sango caught her boomerang by the grip on it after lifting her hand up. "Miroku, you alright?!" she exclaimed in worry and ran after him. After she got up to the caved-in wall, she dug through the rubble that collapsed and helped him out of the hole.

"Yeah, for now. Thanks," he appreciated the help and smiled.

Shippo mentally thanked Y/N for making Plexiglas shards he could use to throw at the enemy. They were shaped like talismans, having a sun symbol in the middle of them. He chucked several at the said creatures when he hopped high into the air to avoid being tackled or gutted by those things. "Stay away from me!" he hollered with fear in eyes and managed to kill a few from getting headshots. Instant death, their heads exploded a few seconds before their own bodies did. He landed on a rooftop of a building and panted, watching as more creatures emerged from the shadows and alleyways. "What are these things even made of?! I tried my foxfire a while ago, are they really immune to all attacks except for sun-related weapons?!" he exclaimed in shock and saw Inuyasha slice off a head from one of the creatures with his claws. But, its head just came back!

After that, Inu snarled angrily and swiped his sword down the middle of its body, making it explode on impact. Inu couldn't use his wind scar, lest he destroys the buildings in his path... "These things really are nasty...!" Shippo mumbled in surprise and took a step back. He froze in place after bumping into a soft leg. Soft...that didn't seem right... When he recognized the unfamiliar softness, he gradually reached for a glass talisman in his pocket and quivered in his place.

Out of nowhere, Koga swiped his clawed foot weapon by doing a round-house kick at the creature behind Shippo. "Behind you!" he hollered through gritted teeth and deeply cut the black creature's side. It cried out with a strong and masculine voice, instinctively reaching for the fresh wound it received. Shippo ran for it, spun around and saw Koga move with great speed during his second round-house kick to the creature's head.

The thing exploded into liquid, dispersing the substance all over everything in a small radius. It even covered Koga in some spots, but he shook it off with a flick of his leg, foot, and hand. "Be more careful!" he exclaimed and disappeared, heading off to find more of those nasty things.

Jaken had his staff pointing at several blackened creatures, shooting out sunbeams from in between the two heads. He was standing behind Sesshomaru who carried Y/N over his one shoulder and sliced of heads of the creatures that lunged at him. "My lord, there seems to be no end to them!" The imp yelled in shock. All around them, those two could hear explosions going off from the others that attacked them with their solar weapons. "What should we do?!" he asked with a risen voice.

The glass sword that glowed beautifully, looked like a lightsaber flashing through the darkness of the night each time he'd swing at a blackened creature. "At this rate, we'll lose the stamina to fight..." He said and blocked a strike from a creature to his right when the said creature formed its arm into a long, black, shiny stake.

Once he sliced off the stake and cut it down the middle, he kicked it away before it exploded into nothing but liquid. From above, he sensed another one of those things whip out two long arms and he instantly faced Jaken to kick him out of the way.

"Gah, my lord what was that fo-?!" Jaken cut himself off when he stood up to see Sesshomaru cutting away at the arms, as he jumped high into the air. Pieces of that thing's arms it used to whip at him, fell and hit the pavement below. "You saved me?! Oh, thank you lord Sesshomaru!~" he was happy to know that his lordship saved him from getting hit by those arms.

Once he rushed past the creature, much like a samurai zipping past someone with their blade, the creature exploded in mid-air. When he descended, he landed on a rooftop not too far from Shippo. That explosion made Y/N's eyes flutter open and she groaned, alerting the lordship. When she saw his feet, her eyes widened in surprise and as if on cue she felt him slide her down off his shoulder.

She blushed heavily when she felt her chest brush slowly across his torso, so she could stand on her own two feet. The moment her feet touched the surface of the roof, she instantly backed up and averted her eyes. "You've...been carrying me this entire time...? How long was I out?" she asked timidly, feeling embarrassed that her chest had literally brushed against his own.

Even Sesshomaru had faint pink cheeks, but he kept his composure and looked off to the side to view everyone else. "Thirty minutes... Those black creatures from before, have returned and we have been in this battle the moment we stepped foot outside of that blacksmith's shop..." He explained and gave a low growl, hating how they just kept coming after them to get to Y/N.

"W-Wait... Those damn creatures I killed a while back?! AGAIN?! Are you serious?!" she exclaimed and widened her eyes, surprised yet angry at the same time. "So, you've been protecting me this...entire time..huh...?" Her question was more of a statement when she mumbled it and looked down at her feet. "Thank you..." A shy smile formed on her lips, she knew he wouldn't see it since his attention was elsewhere. Since they had JUST got together, things would start to feel a bit awkward now... Her cheeks burned red the who time they stood there.

"I cannot have my future...mate...to be harmed..." He mumbled and squinted his yellow eyes, still blushing faintly. He hesitated to say the word mate since he wasn't used to it yet. When he said that, Y/N's entire body turned beet-red and her eyes went comically round and white. Steam came out of her ears, just the word mate gave her so many bad thoughts... She almost had a nosebleed at the naughty thoughts.

"Future...?" she asked, started to get tipsy and felt her heart race ninety miles an hour.

"Yes... When you are ready..." he reassured and looked in the corner of his eyes at his woman without moving his head. She dramatically fell on her back inside her head and had a swirling animation in her alien eyes. A hidden smirk formed on his lips when he saw her nearly faint at his words. When she is ready... he noted in his mind. From behind, he saw one of those blackened creatures appear and it caused his golden eyes to widen.

It all happened in slow motion, a stake-shaped arm swung from the side and aimed at her head. He went to grab her to move her out of the way but Asashi zipped past them both and sliced off its head. It was so fast, not even he could keep up! It just looked like a streak of golden light cutting through the air with a faint blur of black following it. He just saw Asashi standing there, his side was angled to where part of his back faced them. His long robes with the feathery fluff around the neck flailed gently with his long black hair. The dagger Y/N made him, glowed brightly in the dark and his eyes were red. He was in killing mode, most likely furious that the creature was about to kill Y/N.

"You have to move faster, lord Sesshomaru..." he mumbled darkly after he peeked over at the lordship with narrowed angry eyes. "We'll take them down, all of them... Guards and other soldiers had already ran through the streets, entering people's homes and informed them about the Queen's orders during this battle here. The citizens are now being rushed underground into the waterways. Torgadi went with them, as planned and Kurochi's Ketix Scythe was delivered without any trouble," he explained, looked over at Y/N and gave a slight nod.

She returned the gesture but gave a confused expression. "Take up your weapons, Y/N. Help me kill them off, they will eventually cease to appear..." he demanded.

"Sure... Hold on," Y/N answered, dug into her outfit and pulled out the small cube that she stashed in her obiage (An obiage is a part in a person's kimono, like a pocket.) "Thanks for saving me, you two! These guys..." she trailed off, tossed the small cube in the air and caught the two solar pistols that grew in size after coming out of it.

With her teeth, she caught the small cube and her hands gripped on to the grips of the guns. Her thumbs simultaneously pressed the buttons on the sides and turned them on. Her pistols began to glow, exposing the solar charges behind the Plexiglas where the magazine wall would be; even the barrel glowed. "Sesshomaru... Could you please go make sure that Inuyasha doesn't go destroying any buildings?" she asked, lowered her guns and saw him stand there pondering. "J-Just for now! Don't worry, I'll be fine! I'm gonna kick their asses!" she nervously said that after she saw him grumble angrily and narrow his eyes.

Without saying a word, he closed his eyes, turned on his heel, and vanished from sight. She kind of felt bad that she had to tell him that. Inuyasha is very reckless when it came to fighting... She knew that but didn't want to mention that part or it'd make it sound like she knew what he was like from the beginning. She hoped she reassured him...

She knew he was protective of her, for more than one reason...now. Turning to face her teacher, she fixed herself up a bit more so she could fight better and lifted her pistols. "Let's do this shit...and get it over with," she said with annoyance; she always did hate fighting... She almost forgot, quickly she held her one gun with her other hand by her thumb and reached into her robes. Out came her device from her outfit, she had it stashed away on the inside of her obiage too. As she held her device, she quickly scrolled through her music list and picked a song out.

Her device got clipped on the outside of her obiage and made sure it wouldn't come off. Now with both guns in the right hands, she closed her eyes and popped her neck once.

(Play: Armegeddon by Blue Stahli Instrumental! :D) As soon as the song started, her eyes snapped wide open to reveal their red color. She watched as the creatures ran amuck after her friends and disappeared with a new speed she trained hard to get. As soon as the song picked up, she shot out those laser beams after she was jumped in mid-air and flipped upside down. Countless beams rained upon the creatures and her friends all paused in their attacks, so had the blackened creatures that were in midst of striking at them.

Y/N ran down the street firing those shots, albeit angry that those things decided to attack her friends. Her eyes narrowed the more she made the creatures explode from her shots, thinking about the injuries the creatures gave her friends.

A creature did a flying high-jump kick at her from behind and just missed her head. Y/N did the splits, one leg forward and the other one behind her to avoid the said attack. She lifted one of her guns, as the scene was in slow motion, it showed it being nailed with solar beams all on its one side and piercing its head. It exploded in mid-air then she quickly swung her leg around and rolled backward to dodge another attack.

A creature had swung down a mallet-shaped arm and crushed the ground where she once was. She got her footing and raced after the said creature, jumping in the air a couple feet, twirling and smacking down her foot on top of its head. That thing face planted hard on to the pavement, causing a large crack to form from the impact. She used the said creature to her advantage and stepped on its head, hopping into the air with her pistols pointing directly at each creature that grew more distant the more she ascended.

She began to spin horizontally, as she did so numerous shots poured down on every blackened creature that was below her in her path. One by one they exploded and coated the pavement with fresh, black, paint-looking, liquid. All the creatures that surrounded her friends, charged after Y/N who slaughtered their comrades effortlessly.

Inuyasha and everyone were all awestruck at the fighting style, except Sesshi... Though he was a bit mesmerized by the red hue in her eyes, just as much as he was with her normal alien eye color. Her expression, that fierce look she's showing, he always did like that about her. There was just something about that expression that always intrigued him.

Asashi zipped past other countless creatures with a long stream of bright golden light in his trail. Heads flew high in the air and black liquid dispersed where their bodies once stood. Y/N did round-house kicks that would send any normal person flying and each martial arts move she'd do, a large burst of air would occur from it. She performed handless backflips to avoid several creatures that were whipping out their arms and reaching after her with them.

A few others sky dropped, each with their one foot's heel descending after her. Y/N stood in place after spotting the arms coming after her and the aerial attacks above, then lifted her pistols out away from her. She spun real fast in her spot, using the newfound speed from the kinetic energy she's been training and made a considerable amount of laser shots fly all around her. Dispersing liquid flew through the air but something caught her off guard, liquid literally moved and wrapped around her feet. She gasped with that small cube still in between her teeth and it stopped her from moving.

Asashi appeared, scraped his dagger across the ground and made a clean cut in the liquid after it started to take shape into one of those creatures. He saved her from that thing and she nodded as thanks. There was no time for talking, so they simply did gestures. Now they were back to back, even Sesshomaru decided to join in.

That made her eyes widen, why he decided to join in when she specifically asked that he'd watch over Inu, was beyond her. Of course, there was the fact that she was his woman now and he's overprotective.~

Sesshomaru cut down every creature with his glass sword and would snarl angrily at those things. His future mate almost got captured! He felt he owed Asashi for that... (Song ends here, hope you liked it! \o/) "Fewer are appearing now, it seems we're winning..." Sesshomaru spoke up and cut down another one of those things. What he and the whole gang never expected was for those creatures to retreat back into the shadows and make a run for it... They all blinked confusedly except Sessho.

Y/N lowered her pistols and watched the last one flee into an alleyway, disappearing into black liquid and seeping into some dirt in one of the grassy patches. "That's weird... Hah, looks like you were right! Damn, I guess even THEY get scared,~" she teased and saw Sessho lower his blade. Asashi turned his dagger off and stashed it away into its hilt.

"No... They retreated. Those things I highly doubt, have emotions...other than idolizing their master," Asashi answered and his red eyes returned to their normal orange color.

Sesshomaru's golden eyes peered down at Y/N and he examined her form, making sure no harm was done. No signs of scratches other than a few scrapes on her knees when she did the splits and no cuts; not even a single bruise. "We must head back, you need to be cleaned up..." he stated and fully faced her.

"Huh?" Y/N blushed lightly and lifted a brow. She raised her one arm and smelled her armpit, only to gag for air then dropped it instantly. "Fweeew, no kidding! AH!" she yelled out, pinched her nostrils and closed her eyes.

"Guys, you alright?!" Miroku exclaimed in worry and in awe, while the others all followed behind him when he ran to catch up. The three turned to face the running monk.

"Yes, we are perfectly fine..." Asashi stated reassuringly only to make Y/N snicker with a huge blush on her face. He peered over and knitted his brows, so had Sesshi and the others.

"Pft... The only man here that's perfectly fine... Is Sesshomaru...~" she whispered to herself and covered mouth. She felt her own face heat up at that quiet statement of a pun and the only person who heard her was the lordship himself; which in turn, left him standing wide-eyed and a red face as well... Asashi smirked at Sesshi's predicament and shook his head, whatever she whispered to herself, he knew the nobleman heard her. Inuyasha, who put his sword away back into its hilt, just rolled his eyes at those words.

"I'll go get Kagome, she's still with Rin," Inuyasha yawned and walked towards the palace's direction. Sesshomaru just glared daggers at Inu's backside after he passed him up.

"Harm Rin and I will kill you..." Sesshi threatened and grumbled angrily, only to receive a wave of his brother's hand.

"Where's Obsidian...? Why wasn't he in this fight?" Y/N blinked and looked around. What they didn't know was that the entire time of their fight, Obi had avoided the battle and stood high up in the air watching it.

The batman's wings flapped to keep himself in the sky and that Sebastian smirk was plastered. There on his one index finger, upside down sat his pet bat. It squeaked and fluttered its wings, communicating with Obi. "I see... So that is where they came from. How unexpected, coming from the ancient ruins under the ground? Nature grew over the structures there and created a large hill; last I recall, it was completely abandoned. Those odd creatures that fled, all went back towards the same direction they came from..." Obi said and chuckled to himself. "Hmhmhm, my my, they sure don't know how to be discrete, they all followed a direct path as if they were guided,~" he added and hummed in thought. My little pet here told me about the ruins in the cave and its pyramid that had a casket in it. Perhaps I should inform my dear friends about the matter.~ It is quite odd how they're all retreating in the same direction where those ruins resided.~ he mentally noted and watched as some creatures disappeared gradually with distance.

What he wasn't expecting...was to see three small dots where the moon was, to appear within its lunar glow. His mouth parted once he picked up the sound waves; the sound of talking, faint murmurs of two individuals in the direction he faced. A real faint scent of a corpse wafted up to his nose and two other demons that he hardly recognized...except one. "Aunt Kurimi... Why are you with two other strangers?" he asked no one in particular and frowned. Something didn't feel right... The smell of a corpse grew more by each passing minute, the shadowed figure ahead of the two others gave off an ominous vibe that it made him feel a little startled. "I must inform my comrades..." he instantly got serious about the matter and allowed the shade to veil over his closed, blind eyes.
