Good Morning, Uncle Toshi

Making his way down the hall, Zu-chan following along in his wake, Tenko pressed his right hand against his mouth to muffle his giggles. Sure, Uncle Toshi slept like a log – a big, goofy, cuddly log that just so happened to be the Symbol of Peace – but it would be really stupid if he ended up waking Uncle Toshi just because he couldn't keep himself from laughing.

"Remember, Zu-chan, we want to get Uncle Toshi up so we can all celebrate his birthday together," he said, tugging his little brother – Well, Auntie Inko's son, but she and Mom were close enough to be sisters, so Tenko figured it was close enough not to matter so much – to move faster.

"Right, Tenko-nii," Zu-chan said, with a bright smile on his cute little face.

Once they'd made it to Uncle Toshi's room, Tenko peeked inside, before pushing the door open so that he and Zu-chan could make their way inside. The sound of Uncle Toshi's snoring – something he always claimed he didn't do, but something that Tenko would end up hearing more often than not when he went inside to check on his and Zu-chan's uncle – brought a smile to his face, and Tenko found himself having to bite back a laugh at the look on his little brother's chubby little face.

Tugging Zu-chan over to Uncle Toshi's bed, Tenko smiled as his little brother climbed up onto Uncle Toshi's chest, calling to him as he bounced up and down on their dummy of an uncle's broad chest.

Looking down at Uncle Toshi as he bounced on his chest, Izuku grinned as Uncle Toshi's eyes started to open.

"Hi, Uncle Toshi!"

Uncle Toshi blinked up at him, but just as Izuku was about to call out to him again, Uncle Toshi wrapped his big, strong arms around him, turning over on his side the same way he sometimes did when he went to sleep. Squirming as hard as he could, Izuku looked back up at his big brother.

"Tenko-nii, I'm stuck."

Making his way down the hall, the sound of muffled, shuffling footsteps brought an amused smile to his face as Tenko pulled out his phone to snap a picture. Sure enough, the sleepily-shuffling form of Uncle Toshi showed up not soon after he'd managed to bring up the app that would allow him to take a picture. The sight of his and Zu-chan's uncle, with his left arm stuck through the neck-hole of his shirt, all the while having clearly attempted to shove his head through the left sleeve of his shirt, had Tenko snickering even as he put away his phone after snapping the picture of his and Zu-chan's Uncle Toshi as he shuffled his way toward the kitchen.

Making his way over to Uncle Toshi, Tenko helped him to adjust the shirt he was wearing, easily keeping pace with his half-asleep uncle, chuckling all the while.

Yawning as he prepared his lunch for the day, Tenko looked over his right shoulder as he heard his and Zu-chan's sleepyhead of an Uncle Toshi making his way into the room alongside him. Watching amusedly as Uncle Toshi started up the coffee maker, then pulled out the mug before the stream of coffee could even start. Chuckling under his breath, even as he shoved another mug under the spigot before any of the coffee could start spilling on the floor.

Grinning as he watched Uncle Toshi trying to drink out of the empty mug he was holding, Tenko got up from where he'd been packing his food, carrying the now-full mug over to where Uncle Toshi was standing, still trying to drink out of that empty mug of his. Sure, it wasn't quite as funny as when he'd poured what he'd clearly thought was an empty bottle of orange juice over his head, or even when he'd smeared peanut butter on his hand while he was trying to make himself toast and then bitten himself while he was trying to make breakfast.

Biting back a laugh at the confusion on Uncle Toshi's face, Tenko handed over the mug of coffee that he'd attempted to prepare for himself while he was entirely too out of it to know what he was doing.

"What would you do without me, Idiot Toshi?" he muttered, chuckling under his breath as he handed over the mug.
