New Super Ridonculous Race
The Final Update!

...I SWEAR THAT I WANT TO CONTINUE WRITING THIS, BUT I SHOULD PROBABLY NOT MAKE COMPLICATED CHALLENGES!

Sorry for the capital letters, anyways and the title of the update is there for a good reason!

I really don't want to make a fourth Ridonculous Race fanfic, as three is already too much and having two go on at the same time isn't exactly a good thing!

But, man, some explainations are needed!

Hello, it's me.

I know that I probably shouldn't have made an overcomplicated non-linear challenge for the story with a billion characters and to be honest, it's the main reason why this fan fiction has been so slow to update.

To be honest, the challenge isn't entirely to blame either, as having 128 teams would eventually wear me down at some points with that being 256 characters.

Weirdly enough, I thought it was going to be way later than this point because there's still a lot of ideas floating around for this story and I'd feel like that the only one to really do something like this would be someone like me.

Unsurprisingly, putting an overcomplicated challenge with an insurmountable amount of teams probably made this harder to write than it really should have and it was my favourite story to write.

Trying to keep track of certain teams was already a pain with Episodes 1 and 2 and Episode 3 multiplied it by ten times at the very least, so I'm going to cancel it before entropy hits me in the face.

You know, what's weird?

The non-linear challenge would work greatly in a smaller race consisting of 60 teams or even with 80 teams, but 128 just happened to be too much and even then, said challenge would have to be saved for later on.

Having 108 teams would technically make my fourth RR a smaller race and it is coming with a smaller roster that has spare spots open for any requests!

It's called A Really Ridonculous Race, which kinda just takes the better parts from this story and puts it in a smaller set of teams and in addition, works in a lot of ideas.

While it is not going to be lasting forever, I hope that I don't forget the lessons that I learnt this year and besides...it is going to be reallly ridonculous, I can promise you that!

See you in 2021 with Total Drama: Crossing Trunks being continued and A Really Ridonculous Race having the first episode's first part drop in January 2021.

...Probably not going to be continued.

But it'll be continuing in spirit with A Really Ridonculous Race, at least, as I made a good enough remake for a good chunk of the original Super Ridonculous Race!

Even without the corona, I still would've thinked that maybe a non-linear challenge with two hundred characters would be a nightmare to write, so COVID-19 wouldn't change that much!

Total Drama: Crossing Trunks is still continuing!

A Really Ridonculous Race's prologue should be up by now and the first episode's first part will drop within the first week of January 2021...for quality reasons and not just because of Christmas!
