Hi Readers!

So I'm sort of rushing today because I'm not using my IPad.

Anyways, today is the FIRST DATE!

Enjoy!

Percy and Annabeth walked out her house to a waiting car. Piper, Thalia and Hazel waved them goodbye calling teasingly, "Don't stay out too late."

As the car left the street the girls walked back into the house and to Annabeth's room where they were having a pretend sleepover. If Annabeth's family returned early then they would pretend Annabeth was in bed or in the bathroom, then later on she could sneak in through the terrace window without anyone noticing.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going now?" Annabeth asked Percy.

"Nope!" He smirked. "You're going to have to wait longer."

"Fine!" She sighed. "But was it really necessary for me to dress up so much?"

"Honestly I don't think so." He told her. "But Piper will take any chance she can to perform glamour duty."

They fell into an awkward silence.

Luckily though, the car rolled up to a halt as they had arrived at their destination.

Percy got out first and held out his hand for Annabeth.

"Milady!" He winked.

"Why thank you, kind sir." She said deciding to play along.

She stepped out and looked at what was in front of her.

Her breath stopped. She was completely captivated and enraptured by what she saw in front of her.

A beautiful building with marble pillars stood proudly in front of her. It had a dome like ceiling and was a cream colour. The marble was a reflective surface and she could see the few stars that were in the sky on it. There was a constellation of an adolescent girl with an arrow.

The 'hunter' she was called.

"Wow!" She breathed not being able to hide her amazement.

"I knew you'd like it because of your love for architecture." Percy told her.

"You remembered?" She asked turning to him.

"Of course I did!"

He led her into the building.

They took a lift to the top floor.

When they got there Annabeth ran forward completely hypnotised by what she could see.

There were tall windows with gilt frames of gold. Through them she felt as if she could see the whole world and more.

The New York sky line stood proud, boldly emblazoned by dozens of street lamps.

But that wasn't all.

Percy stood by Annabeth and coaxed her to look up.

On the inside of the dome were beautiful caricatures (paintings) of Greek gods, Goddesses and heroes.

Annabeth gazed in wonder at the beauty of it all and couldn't believe how lucky she was.

"Thank you for bringing me here!" She breathed, coming back to reality and looking Percy in the eyes.

"Your welcome!" He shot her a dazzling smile.

Percy beckoned her over to the centre of the room where there was a picnic mat covered in assorted foods.

She kneeled down, careful not to wrinkle her dress.

Piper would have her head otherwise.

They ate while holding conversation for a while.

"So how did you find this place?" Annabeth asked Percy brushing any crumbs from her hands.

"My mum brought me here when I was younger." He told her. "We wanted a break from my stepdad."

"Oh." She replied knowing he didn't like talking about HIM.

"The only place my dad ever took me to when I was younger was to an exhibition of his." she told him trying to change the subject.

"Really?" Percy asked.

"Yeah!" She continued. "An exhibition of his love towards his girlfriend."

They laughed at that.

"It's nice not to talk with pressure." Annabeth mused.

"Gotta agree with that!" Percy told her.

They fell into a comfortable silence.

"I remember laughing like this a long time ago!" Annabeth said. "It was back when my mum and dad were together. My mum had a Yankees cap and I used to wear it and pretend it could make me invisible."

Percy gazed at her in adoration.

"It's stupid now!" She said looking up.

Percy moved to hold her hand.

"It's not stupid!" he assured her. "I used to pretend that my favourite pen could turn into a sword."

"Really!" She said spluttering into laughter.

"Yup!" He laughed along.

Sometime later….

The date had ended on a happy note.

They had walked back to Annabeth's home in the liquid moonlight and climbed up to the terrace.

"Thank you for a really good time." Annabeth whispered as they had a final look together at the stars.

"And thank you," Percy replied. "For giving me the chance to go out with an amazing girl."

They embraced before pulling away.

Percy watched Annabeth climb through the window before jumping down from the terrace.

When Annabeth got to her room she was ambushed by her friends who were waiting for her to spill on her night.

"Shhhh!" She told them. "We don't want to wake anyone up!"

So that is it! As promised.
