'It's the good girls who keep diaries. The bad girls never have the time. Me… I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember. Even if I don't write it down.
Later on that day
The Davis Home
The spacious colorful home was filled with teenagers and loved ones. Pink, purple, and green streamers were hung around the room besides pink, purple and green and and Jake. Mouth and Rachel. Victoria and Ted. There was someone in charge of music. A cook handling the food. A gift table by the door. And a collage of photos in the entryway of Sam through the years that Brooke added to every birthday. She was so sentimental about it. She could never pin point a reason as to why it affected her so much.
After thinking it over before any guests had arrivied. Brooke decided to hold off on reading the letter and telling Sam anything until tommorow.
She knew without a doubt her secret was safe with Lucas.
...
"1600 dollars. That is one way to say happy birthday." Brandon stated. Handing the check back to Sam.
Sam stared at the check once more before putting away. The best friends were seated beside each other in the backyard.
A pool steps away from them.
"Grandpa Ted shows his love through these kinds of things. Money, gifts. I have no idea what i'm going to spend it on." Sam replied.
"I'll help you figure that out." Savannah McFadden stated.
Sam smiled up at her closest girlfriend and made room in the chair beside her.
While Brandon was all brown and blue eyes.
Savannah was red hair, brown eyes, a combination of both her mom and dad.
"Well it looks like Q couldn't stay away." Savannah stated.
Sam looked over at the group of basketball players all seated together spotting his face.
"He said he wouldn't miss it. I didn't take him seriously." Sam replied.
"He's coming over. We will go check out the rest of the party." Brandon announced.
"No don't!" Sam replied. Feeling her stomach flip. As he sat down beside her.
...
Brooke handed off the new refilled snack bowls and dessert trays.
When she felt a hand go on top of her shoulder she was taken aback. She was left more unsure turning around. Staring up at a stranger.
"We don't know each other. But our main connection is what matters. I'm Rebecca Dennis. Sam is my daughter." The woman admitted.
Brooke felt her blood run cold. Her eyes went wide.
...
Tree Hill Cemetery
Lucas laid down a newly bought bouquet. He stared down at his wedding ring. At some point he would take this off. But he wasn't ready yet.
