Piper looks like Tea from YU-GI-OH!

I apologize if I'm concentrating too much on Shiro/Piper.

Please review! I thank you!

Shiro sighed heavily as he leaned back in the bathtube of his bathroom inside his quarters inside the Galaxy Garrison. He was so glad that they had the whole day for the Paladins to really reunite with their families after being gone for years. He closed his eyes as he let the hot soapy water soak in his old wounds and new wounds.

It was so hard to do things with only one arm, and it had to be his right arm too.

Shiro slowly awoke from his nap to find Piper sitting on the bed and gently stroking his hair.

"Piper?" He whispered, thinking he was seeing things.

She smiled through her tears. "Hi."

He slowly pushed himself to sit up as he looks at her. She throws herself at him, her arms locking around his neck as his left arm hugs her waist as he falls backwards back onto the bed.

"I'm so sorry." She chokes on her sobs as she clings to him tightly, afraid to let him go.

"For what?" He asks gently as he holds her with his only arm. "You did nothing wrong."

"I thought I caused you to crash." Piper sobbed into his chest as she held tightly to him. "Ever since the Garrison sent that broadcast about you guys crashing and saying it was a pilot error." She had to stop and take a few choking breaths. "I kept thinking that you were thinking about our fight and you were distracted and ... and." She couldn't finish.

"Oh Piper." Shiro said gently as he hugged her tightly as best as he can. "You couldn't have known what was going to happen. Nobody knew." He said gently.

"The guilt I felt for walking away." She whispered, her throat hurt as she didn't cling to him so tightly, but held on to him. "You never tried to come after me."

Shiro winced. "I didn't know you wanted me to chase you down." He now felt guilty for that. "Didn't you get that disc I asked Sam to give you?"

Piper nods as she swallows hard. "Commander Holt gave it to James who in turn gave it to me, but I couldn't watch it alone." She explained.

Standing up she walked over to a window and looks out at the flag that flew high as it blew through the gentle wind outside. "You still love me?" She asked softly, thinking about in the video he told her that he did.

"I never stopped." Shiro walked up behind her. "I never should've left for Kerberos. I'm the one who should be sorry. I should've been thinking about you and helping with the wedding instead of thinking about what I needed for Kerberos."

Piper turns around to face him. "The Galra ... they took your arm." She reaches out to place her hand on his right shoulder, then reaches up to trace her hand along his face gengerly. "What else did they do to you?"

He gently took her hand. "It's way too graphic. I still have nightmares about what they've done." He explained.

Piper bites her lower lip. "There was another reason why I didn't want you to go to Kerberos." She pulls her hand away and turns back to look out the window again.

Shiro frowns as he watches her. "What is it?"

Piper reaches into her pocket, pulling out her cellphone and unlocks it to reveal a picture of Edith as she sits on a swing, smiling into the camera. "Her." She turns around to him and shows him the picture.

Shiro frowns. "Is she's James'?" He asks as he studies the picture.

Piper took a deep breath. "She belongs to you." She watches as his eyes grow as he straightens. "She's our daughter."

With the shock of the news, Shiro sank onto his bed. "What?" He whispered.

She walked over to him, coming between his legs. "Shiro." She said as she places her hands on his shoulders.

He rests his eyes on her. "Did anyone else know?"

"James and Keith both found out. Keith wanted me to tell you as soon as possible, but ... I couldn't."

"Why?"

"Cause you were so happy when the Admiral gave you the clear to go to Kerberos, you were estatic and so excited." Her lip trembled. "I couldn't tell you. I didn't want to take that away from you. So I begged the boys to keep it a secret." She swallowed thickly. "They helped as best as they could, but when the due date arrived the three of us got stuck inside an elevator. I had to listen to those two argue over who was going to be the favorite uncle and who should do this and who should do that."

"Keith knew this whole time?" Shiro asked, and Piper nods.

"Yes, one day he was suppose to pick me up and drop me off at home after my car decided to brake down again. But he never showed up, he had stopped answering his cell, he never responded to any text, it was like he just disappeared. Then the next day Pidge, Lance, and Hunk had gone and disappeared. Now I know why."

"Piper." Shiro's eyes searched hers. "Can you ever forgive me?" He asked with a whisper.

She steps backwards out of his reach. "I'm so mad at you Takashi Shirogane!" She tried to keep her anger, but it came out in hurt. "So much time has been lost between us, so many years apart."

Shiro looked down. "So, you found someone new then to take my place in your heart?" He shrugs. "I mean after what I did, I'm."- He trails off when Piper suddenly grabs his face and kisses him.

After a long time, they pull away. "I hope you felt that." Piper replied. "There has been nobody else."

Shiro smirks. "I did feel that."

She smiles. "Good." She wraps her arms around his neck, hugging his tightly, he returns the tight hug as best as you can with one arm.
