I wanted to get this chapter posted before I have the next 7 days busy with work. Can't believe this story is still going strong and you guys seem to be enjoying it. I might not be able to write or post after this chapter until the new year, but I always seem to find a way when I think it's impossible. Anyways enjoy this chapter. I appreciate you guys.
While Tommy and Jane were trying to figure Crowe out, Frost and Frankie soon arrived. The twins rushed over to greet them showing the pictures they drew.
"What exactly did you guys draw?" Frankie asked them, both drawings showed two people in a house and one had which looked like a dog.
"I drew a picture of you Uncle Frankie," Kate smiled, "And there's Jo Friday and Uncle Frost in your house. See how happy you two look, even the sun in smiling," she handed it to him.
"And I drew Uncle Frost with Jane in her guest house," Todd explained, handing his to Frost. "Friendship is better than romance, I would have drew Maura but this takes place while she's at work, they are celebrating that she has her job back."
"Well this is a nice interpretation on things," Frost looked at his picture. "Me and Jane do always have fun together that's for sure," he looked over at Jane who was smiling at him from the couch. "I'm going to go sit with Jane and Uncle Tommy on the couch until dinner is ready."
"Can I sit next to you at dinner Uncle Frost?" Todd asked and Frost nodded.
"Of course Todd, I'd be honored for you to sit next to me," he ruffled up the boy's hair before going to join them on the couch. "I'm glad that he looks up to our friendship Jane."
"I mean who wouldn't, it's pretty kick as- I um mean butt. We make a good team, right Tommy?" Jane asked her brother who seemed to be distracted and Tommy nodded.
"Oh yeah definitely," he smiled at Frost.
"So I noticed that Crowe is here, what's that about?" he directed his question to Jane.
"Maura decided to invite him earlier, said he was going through stuff, me and Tommy are trying to figure out what his deal is. Care to partake in our investigation?" Jane nudged her friend.
Frost shrugged, "I guess it wouldn't hurt, he was acting sort of strange at work today, he hardly insulted anyone. He kept smiling to himself, seemed sort of suspicious."
"Alright dinner's ready everybody," Korsak came out of the kitchen to make the announcement. At the news Todd rushed over to grab Frost by the arm, pulling him towards the table.
"Well it looks like you have to help me in my chair Tommy," Jane looked at her brother who sighed, picking her up and placing her back in her wheelchair.
"I think you're milking this pain thing, just a little bit Jane," he shook his head.
"I at least have to stay off my feet for a week, doctor will let me know how I'm healing. Don't be such a baby," she shook her head, as he led her to the dining room. "Well it looks like you're sitting next to me Tommy, unless you prefer to sit on the floor."
"I think a chair will suffice for the needs of my butt, thanks."
"Your butt needs to not be so smart," Jane glanced at him, smacking him lightly on the arm.
"Jane no hitting!" Kate scolded her and she frowned.
"You are pretty good at that scowl face, you either learned that from my mother or Maura," she smirked, causing both Maura and Angela to scowl at her. Jane observed them both, "You definitely learned that look from Maura."
"I don't think you're in a position to be making jokes Jane," Maura raised her eyebrows.
"I'm pretty sure it was a compliment, I said she was good at that face, plus you're cute when you scowl."
"Well I'm going to be real cute for a long time then if you keep this up."
"Can we please eat now?" Todd asked, interrupting the adults of their banter.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea Todd," Angela smiled. "Don't make me move the both of you."
"Yes mother," Jane rolled her eyes.
"I seen that Janie. Now behave and enjoy the meal our spouses and Crowe helped make, or no dessert."
Jane's jaw dropped, "Not the dessert," she smirked, before looking down at her mother's scowl, that one was not so cute. "I'm sorry for my manners Ma."
"I think she should have dessert still," Todd spoke up. "No one should miss dessert."
"I like your argument, although there would be more for you to eat if I didn't get any," Jane shrugged causing Todd to smile.
"I'll take her dessert then, want to share it with me Uncle Frost?"
Frost chuckled and nodded, "Sure, I do like dessert time," he noticed the look Jane gave him and he just shrugged, "You weren't really behaving like your mother asked Jane. Bad behavior doesn't get rewarded. The twins should know that."
"Is Jane always like this?" Crowe looked at Frost in amusement.
"Family time Jane is not as tough as Detective Jane, trust me on that one. Everyone has a weakness, what's yours?" he asked.
"A guy like Crowe doesn't have a weakness, isn't that what you planned to say?" Jane looked at the man sitting across from her.
"No I was just going to say that I can't think of one right now, but I'll get back to you on that one Frost if it's important I think of one."
Jane shared a glance at Tommy who just shrugged. This was going to be a much tougher task than she thought and it irritated it more than it probably should. What was up with Crowe? She frowned as she continued eating her dinner, Maura rested a hand on her knee giving it a squeeze. Maura could tell that Jane was tense as they ate dinner.
"Well, this just got oddly quiet, how have you been doing Frankie?" Korsak asked, breaking the unbearable silence.
"Me?" Frankie shrugged. "I can't complain, everything is pretty normal on my end. I'm doing good, I did have someone tell me to keep my eye on you though, especially since your visit this afternoon," he didn't say Sean's name but Korsak knew what he meant and Angela picked up on his words.
"Vince Korsak, what did you do now?" she asked with a frown.
"I just had a little talk with Sean is all, it's no big deal. Nothing happened besides him not apologizing for his remarks the other day."
"Unbelievable Vince, were you trying to look for another fight with him?"
"No of course not, just thought we could talk is all. I told him what you said about it not being his, he didn't seem to care, so it's honestly nothing," Vince reassured her wife.
"Sometimes I swear you're worse than my children."
"If Todd is having Jane's dessert, can I have grandpas?" Kate perked up in her chair eating her broccoli.
"You guys are evil when it comes to desserts," Jane looked at the twins. "We might need to cut you back after tonight, sugar is turning you two into devious humans. Wouldn't you agree Maura?" she asked her wife who nodded.
"Yes, I would have to agree with you Jane. Kids you shouldn't be greedy, if you have too much sugar there's a chance you could have diabetes in the future, and I don't think you want to go through that."
"Maura, I didn't want you to freighten them, no matter how much I agree with your approach. If I can cut back beer, you two can cut back on sugar, deal?"
Kate and Todd both nodded, continuing to eat their meal, in silence now. "You enjoying Rizzoli family dinner?" Frost asked Crowe with a laugh and he nodded.
"It's nice seeing you guys in your more natural habitat. I hardly seen any of you out of work, I mean besides from the Dirty Robber."
At the mention of the Dirty Robber Tommy looked up at Korsak, "Hey Vince, aren't you supposed to be working tonight? I don't think it would look good on you if Lydia beats you to work."
Korsak frowned, getting up from the table, "You're right, sorry to leave dinner like this," he was glad he finished his plate. "Ang, I'll come pick you up later, alright?"
"I'll just stay here tonight Vince, spend time with my girls," Angela smiled, still upset at him, Jane rolled her eyes. "I'll see you in the morning."
Korsak nodded, saying the rest of his goodbyes before leaving. Soon everyone was finished with their dinner, Maura got up from the table to clear the table of the dinner dishes, Jane really wanted to help but she was glad when Crowe offered to help clean the dining room table and get dessert, once him and Maura left the room Jane turned to his brother.
"So Frankie, how do you feel about Crowe coming over for dinner? Think we scared him off?" Jane asked, trying a different approach, she knew Crowe and Frankie worked together today.
"Is that what all this childish behavior was for? Real mature Jane," Frankie took a sip of his beer.
"My childish behavior had nothing to do with this, not my fault that just happens. I was just curious is all, he doesn't seem to scare very easy, that's definitely not a weakness of his. Being arrogant on the other hand."
"Jane be polite, Crowe doesn't seem that bad, I honestly don't know why I thought he would be up to something," Tommy looked at his sister. "He also seems pretty helpful, cooking dinner, cleaning the table, obviously he's trying to impress someone."
"Who does he need to impress? We all know how Crowe can be," Jane shrugged. "Do you kids like him?" she asked the twins and both of them nodded.
"Yeah he's nice," they said in unison.
"I kind of want to draw him a picture, can we after dessert?" Kate asked and Jane nodded.
"You two sure like drawing, one day me and Maura's fridge is going to be covered in your pictures. It'll definitely be more colorful than it is right now. Us Rizzolis never had much artistic talent."
"Maybe Crowe just wants to impress the kids, makes sense, the loneliest people always seem so good around kids," Tommy shrugged, continuing the other subject.
"Well I think you're great with kids," Frankie told his brother.
"Don't you two start arguing now," Angela frowned at her two sons, thankful that Maura and Crowe came back with the dessert. They had made macarons, Jane couldn't help but pout.
"Ma, can I please have my dessert? I love macarons, Maura and I had them on our honeymoon, they were like the best."
Angela shook her head, "You're an adult Jane, I was just teasing, have a macaron, especially if you're going to pout. That's not very adult-like."
"Thanks Ma!" Jane smiled, grabbing macarons from the plate, handing one to Tommy. "I usually cheers my dessert with Korsak, but you'll just have to do."
"I never understood why you needed to do that."
"It's just something we do Tommy, you wouldn't understand," she tapped her macaron with Tommy's. "Cheers," she smiled popping it into her mouth. "Good God Maura, these are just as good as the ones from Paris."
"I'm glad you like them."
"This is definitely my kind of aphrodisiac, mix this with some wine and I'm... you know I should stop talking," Jane's cheeks reddened, she really had to remember people were around sometimes, the twins were looking at her confused.
"We shouldn't know what that aphro word means, right?" Kate took notice and Maura nodded.
"Yes, there's actually quite a few words Jane says that you shouldn't know about, especially the bad words."
"She does know a lot of bad words," she looked at Jane smiling so innocently.
"You're such a kidder Kate, and I can't help but love you for it."
"Can we go color now?" Kate asked as they quickly finished their dessert.
Jane nodded, smiling warmly at the two rush to the living room, pouring out their crayons. "You know that they deemed you worthy enough for one of their drawings Crowe. You must have made quite the impression on them, consider me impressed."
Crowe shrugged, "What can I say, I'm good with kids and they seem to have a good judge of character. Thanks for your compliment. And thanks for allowing me to come to your home for dinner, it was a delight. I think I'm going to get a start on those dishes," Crowe got up from the table and into the kitchen.!
"Well, I must say Crowe is proving himself to be quite a gentlemen, you boys should take an example from him," Angela directed towards her sons.
"I'll take an example from him right now in that case," Frankie grabbed his beer bottle and went into the kitchen to help Crowe. "Why are you being a suck up Crowe?"
"I'm not trying to be a suck up Frankie, I just want you to realize that I'm not a horrible person."
"I know you aren't Crowe, but Jane isn't going to change her mind, if she ever found out I can't even imagine of what she'd do. Just, please calm it down like a lot."
"I'm not afraid of your sister Frankie, and quite honestly you shouldn't be either. You always want her approval, but don't you think it's about time you do things on your own. I know you aren't ready to try more with me, but at least try to be, you know, more independent. I mean I'm trying to be less of an ass, it's bound to be a pretty long process. We can both try to be better with our faults, I want to be a better person."
Frankie placed his beer down on the countertop, "I don't have a fault just because I want my sister to approve of my choices. What I don't want is to be involved in whatever competition you always seem to be in with each other. I think I'm going to head home. I'll see you at work tomorrow, okay? You don't have to call me Frankie in private anymore, I don't want to get used to it," he turned on his heel to leave the kitchen and to say his goodbyes to his family before leaving the house.
"What the hell was that?" Crowe muttered to himself before continuing with the dishes he was washing.
"I think it's called avoiding," Maura entered the kitchen. "You shouldn't rush him, you know."
"I wasn't rushing anything Maura, I was just trying to get him to try being his own person."
"People do have role models Crowe, Jane just happens to be Frankie's. We never grew up with siblings, we don't know what that's like, we don't quite understand any of it. They have this certain relationship, of course he's going to have his fears, Jane has her fears all of the time. It'll take time, Jane and I took time and look at us now. You didn't have to finish up these dishes if you wanted to go home. You helped with dinner, and it's obvious you need to do more thinking," Maura patted his arm.
Crowe nodded, "Yeah I guess. I'm glad you approve of this thing, whatever it may or may not be."
"He'll get there I promise, slow and steady wins the race. That's what that book said I read to the twins last night, the tortoise and the hare one," she smiled up at him. "Be one with the tortoise Crowe, and you'll be glad that you did."
"How philosophical of you Maura," he chuckled drying off his hands as the twins rushed in the kitchen.
"Uncle Crowe we finished our drawings," Kate showed him her picture first. "You and Jane are giving each other a high five. Jane doesn't like you but I do, one day she'll feel the same," she smiled up at the tall man.
"Mine's a picture of a crow, sitting on a scarecrow looking out to the city of Boston, you're the crow," Todd smiled, handing him his drawing.
"These are really cool, you guys really are good at drawing," Crowe smiled at the both of them.
"Did you want to watch a movie with all of us? Grandma is going to make popcorn."
"Well I was planning on going home, but if you'd like me to stay then I will."
"Come on then you can help us pick something out," Kate grabbed him by the hand, leading him into the living room. Maura smirked, glad the kids at least took well to Crowe's presence.
"So I guess Crowe is joining us for a movie then," Jane spoke as she entered the kitchen.
"Yeah, the kids seem to like him that's not a problem, is it?"
"Of course not Maura, the twins being happy with new people is good for them. They need that happiness in their lives. And I guess Crowe isn't all too bad, maybe I judged outside of work Crowe a little too quickly," she glanced over to the living room, both kids were smiling.
"Are you and Tommy done trying to figure out what he's up to then?" Maura asked with a raised brow.
Jane feigned surprise, "I was doing no such thing."
"And then you involve Frost in this madness. Yes I picked up almost right away in what you two were doing. I'm glad you and Tommy can bond, but Crowe is pretty harmless."
"Yeah, I know that now. He's not half bad I guess," Jane shrugged, "I'm going to join them in the living room, make sure they pick something we all want to watch."
"I'll be there in a moment," Maura leaned down to give Jane a kiss before she wheeled away, joining the twins, Crowe and her mother in the living room. Maura smiled to herself, maybe this was a good plan after all.
"So, did you want to join the family in a movie?" Tommy asked Frost as they sat in the dining room. "If you wanted to we can sit next to each other, unless you'd rather not."
Frost shrugged, "I don't mind but there seems to not be any room over there in the living room. Plus I kind of want to talk to you... about what you and Jane were doing at dinner, what you guys involved me in. I know what's going on. I didn't want to believe it but I put two and two together. Frankie seemed to be a little too upset at your remark about Crowe being lonely because he's good with kids. At work today I did kind of notice them making eye contact, sort of like Maura and Jane did when they didn't realize their pretty obvious feelings for each other."
"Shit you mean Frankie and Crowe..." Tommy asked in disbelief. "Are you sure you're not imagining things? I don't think Frankie would ever..." he stopped himself. "Are you okay with that? I mean Frankie would be moving on really quickly from you."
Frost shrugged, "I just want Frankie to be happy and if it happens to be with Crowe, why would I stop that? We may be friends again Frankie and I, but he did say some pretty hurtful things when we broke up. You never hurt me like that, you always tried but I guess I didn't notice it. And then overhearing that Cailin was never truly into you I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. Thinking something was real when it wasn't. I was even jealous when I tried to hide that I was, I just didn't know what to think, how I reacted... and well Tommy I'm sorry."
"Hey you don't need to apologize, we all make mistakes sometimes. I'll be here for you Frost however you need me," Tommy moved to rest his hand on Frost's knee. Frost licked his lips at Tommy's gesture. "I'm sorry I couldn't be what you wanted me to be. I'll do better, even if we remain just friends."
"I don't think we can be just friends Tommy, we have a past and it was hard but I will always have these feelings for you ones I tried to bury so deep after we broke up and I find you really attractive when you are around Camille's twins."
Tommy smiled, "The feeling is mutual, who knew kids can bring out my soft side."
"That's a side of you I don't mind seeing more of. Did you maybe want to..." Frost didn't get any more words out when Tommy leaned over to kiss him for only a second. "I didn't get to finish my question."
"My apologies, did you want to get back together I'll do anything to make sure this time it sticks."
"I don't want to rush getting back into a relationship, give it some time, plus I know you still hurt knowing that Cailin doesn't feel the same for you. Not the way we felt for each other."
"It was dumb for me to want to get involved with Maura's sister. I'll wait for you Barry Frost, whenever you'll have me, however you'll have me, I'm there," Tommy squeezed his knee.
"Let's just keep this between us for now, alright? The twins will definitely get their hopes up."
"Well I don't know about Kate, she seemed to be attached to you and Frankie."
"If what I think is true and Frankie and Crowe are involved somehow, I'm sure Crowe will be her new favorite person," Frost smirked.
"You'll always be my favorite person Barry."
Frost blushed at his words, "You know you're the only one I'll allow to call me Barry. We should go join the others now."
"That sounds like a good idea, I'll try not to cuddle up next to you."
"That wouldn't be keeping it between us though, now would it?"
"No I guess not, want to come to my place after family night is over, we'd be very much alone there," Tommy smirked, causing Frost to smile.
"I'd like that," he pushed himself out of his chair and went into the living room, Tommy in tow. Jane looked between the two as everyone else was watching the movie, silently trying to figure them out, but Jane's detective senses were totally drained for the evening.
The next morning came, Jane woke up next to Maura in the guest house, the twins and Angela stayed in the main house during the night. Jane was glad to be waking up with Maura and no one else besides Chad the tortoise in the room.
Jane ran her finger up and down Maura's arm, smiling warmly at her tired wife, who yawned, causing Jane to smile even more. "Morning sleeping beauty."
"Morning," Maura stretched before sitting up in bed. "I like waking up next to you, you're always so warm."
"I'm like a reptile babe. I'm glad last night went pretty well. I hope the kids will be okay with hanging with Angela today while we continue the me joining you at work plan."
"Are you trying to do some work when you're there? I mean you're not crippled, there's nothing dangerous about sitting at a desk, I'm sure Cavanaugh would be okay with it."
"You just don't want me to distract you, do you?"
"Well you can be quite distracting, plus I'm sure you'd much rather partake in work than just stare at me work all day," Maura slipped out of bed.
"I beg to differ, I could stare at you all day and never get tired of looking. Every inch of you is so beautiful I hope I never go blind because not looking at you is worse than any other pain I'd ever possibly feel," Jane spoke warmly causing Maura to blush.
"What's gotten into you this morning?"
"Too much flattery for you?" Jane looked up and down at her wife, licking her lips. "I'm just very appreciative of my wife this morning is all."
"I think someone woke up a little horny this morning."
"If I were a man I'd have the biggest boner right about now, wanting my beautiful wife to take care of me."
"I can't believe you just said that Jane," she shook her head. "Well you would have to take care of your boner yourself. I need to get ready for work."
"Such a buzzkill Maur."
"Remember yesterday when I got you aroused and then you had chest pains? Being a buzzkill can save you from experiencing that pain again. We both need to learn self control, plus just think of all the hot sex we'll have when you are fully healed. The sooner you heal, the faster we can do nothing but fuck each other, over and over again," Maura smirked, before turning on her heel and heading inside.
"I can't fucking heal fast enough," Jane moaned, wheeling into the house, where Frost was in the kitchen, the twins helping him make pancakes. "Morning Frost, children. I think you like coming over here, are you sure that you don't live here?"
"I like it here Jane, plus the kids love me."
Jane smirked, "You're such a softie Frost. You ever think about having kids one day? You'd be a great father any kid would be very lucky to have you in their life."
"I'm not used to your early morning flattery, did you and Maura get some last night?"
"No, of course not, I can't get anywhere right now, it looks like you did though. You and Crowe didn't do anything did you?"
"Why would I do that?" Frost asked. "Crowe isn't exactly my type."
"Well that's a relief, well whoever he was, I hope he was good to you."
Frost smirked, "We can talk about that later Jane. Right now we have kids right here."
"Alright, but later sounds good. Where's Ma? Did Korsak come over to pick her up?"
"Grandpa and grandma are on the couch," Kate responded to the adults conversation.
Frost nodded, "Yeah that's why I decided to have the kids help with breakfast. They are kind of apologizing to each other, if you catch my drift."
His words caused Jane to glance over in the living room, at her mother and Korsak in a lip lock session. "Can't they do that at home?" Jane groaned.
"They are designated kid sitters for the day, let them have a few more moments before breakfast."
"Well someone seems to be in a good mood," Maura mentioned as she came into the kitchen, dressed for the day. "Frost, breakfast smells amazing, sorry I'm going to have to skip it. I have to be off, Jane you're going to have to ride into work with Frost since you aren't ready. I'll let you enjoy breakfast with your family," she leaned down to kiss her wife and the twins' cheeks, giving Frost a pat on the arm, saying her goodbyes to the couple on the couch even though they weren't paying attention.
Once breakfast was made, Jane went to go get her parents. "Okay you two, break it up. It's time to eat before you two pass out from not breathing."
"Morning Jane," Korsak readjusted himself after pulling away from Angela.
"Morning, can I trust you two to keep your hands off each other when I'm not here today."
"Where are you going today?" Angela asked.
"I'm going to work Ma, remember I told you yesterday about my plans to attempt to work because Maura doesn't like being away from me for too long."
"Oh yes, sorry dear, I seemed to have forgotten my head this morning."
"Maybe you guys should pull back to breathe every once in a while, I'm sure that there's some scientific fact Maura would explain about it, but it's time for breakfast," Jane waited until they got off the couch and headed to the dining room, making sure they didn't get distracted again. Jane wheeled in after them, sitting next to Frost and Todd, enjoying breakfast with part of her family.
Jane's mind kept on wandering to who would Frost have gotten luckily with and had him giving off good vibes. She would have to thank him whoever it was, she liked Frost when he was this relaxed.
Soon after breakfast was done and Jane got ready for work, she had her mother help her change because it seemed like the less embarrassing option. "So are you and Korsak going to keep arguing and making up like that? It's kind of odd, you getting more action than me."
"He doesn't make it easy on himself doing things he know would upset me. I just hope this thing with him and Sean can be put to rest now," Angela shrugged.
"Yeah Vince sure likes to over react, he definitely has rubbed off on you and your habits. You know I'm going to be okay going to work, I'm just going to be sitting on my ass the whole time, most the time down in Maura's office," Jane explained, knowing her mother was worried.
"I'm sure you'll be in good hands with Frankie and Frost there as well. Speaking of Frost, I don't think you want him to be late for work," Angela helped her back to her wheelchair before wheeling her back into the kitchen.
Jane looked at Frost, "Come on Frost, time to get to work."
"Yes ma'am," Frost saluted with a grin, hugging the twins and waving farewell to Korsak. "Did you want me to push you?"
"Since you offered so nicely, bye kids," Jane ruffled up their hair, making them frown as her and Frost were out the door. Frost helped Jane into the car and put her wheelchair in the back.
The drive to the precinct was spent in silence, Frost looked deep in thought while he was driving. "Penny for your thoughts there Barry? Thinking about whatever mysterious lover you had last night. Is it serious? I never quite took you for just a sex man with no strings."
Frost turned to Jane at they came to a stop light, "There is feelings involved Jane, trust me I don't do strictly sex, I wasn't even planning on having it, but we got carried away and I didn't want it to stop. It was definitely... something," he shrugged.
"So who turned you into this brand new man? Can I meet him?" she asked, curious of who could get Frost to be so relaxed and not so depressed.
"I Jane, you sort of know who it is. We can talk about who it is after we get to work."
"It wasn't Cavanaugh, was it? I swear to God if you let him do things with you, I'm not going to talk to you anymore."
Frost made a face and laughed, "Hell Jane, I wouldn't even talk to me anymore. That's kind of disturbing you thought of him. Plus seeing him at work and if it got around I slept with the Lieutenant."
"Yeah I see your point, well I know it wasn't Korsak. Was it Giovanni?"
"Jane, please stop guessing," he rolled his eyes. "You're not very good at this. And why would you even mention Korsak?"
"Oh please Frost, if he even swung that way you guys had so much sexual tension in the past it would be insane," Jane shrugged.
"I seriously do not know if you're kidding or not, but please, stop guessing off the wall people. Plus Korsak isn't even in my league of men," he laughed as did Jane.
"You have a point there," Jane decided to stop guessing, soon enough Frost pulled into the parking garage. When he took his keys out of the ignition Jane looked at him. "So, now we're at work. Who is it? I'll just keep guessing on your lover."
"Jane, I really don't know if you're going to like who it is," he put his hand up once she opened her mouth to speak. "Jane, just listen... okay? It wasn't one sided, I know you're probably thinking why would I be torturing myself but seeing him with those twins it just... it's made me fall for him again, I just I know you won't approve but I've seen a different side of Tommy lately and I just, I can't help it. I love him Jane..." Frost finished his confession, tears welling up in his eyes. "And I'm not going to keep on going back and forth between him and Frankie. Tommy is changing for the better and I honestly think it's something he really wants."
Jane listened to Frost's confession, "I just... I hate that you are back with Tommy, but I can't exactly dictate your life and who you want to spend that with. I just, are you really happy with this decision, with him? I can't handle it if you got hurt again. I want you to be okay, if something happened to you..."
Frost nodded, "I know and it is what I want, I want your brother. We really care for each other, last night wasn't just some sex because we felt like it... It was real."
"Okay, but I'm not exactly happy with your choice in men, but I have to be open to it. Him liking you is much better than him liking Cailin though, whatever that was definitely wasn't real, especially with how she claimed to feel for me. I still can't believe that," Jane shook her head.
"So we're good right?" Frost asked and Jane nodded.
"Yes Frost, we're good, me and you will always be okay," she patted his knee. "Oh and just never mention how good your sexual escapades are with Tommy. I love you but that's just as bad as seeing Ma and Korsak making out on the couch this morning."
"Yeah as long as you never use the words sexual tension when talking about me and Korsak ever again. I swear I don't know where you head goes sometimes."
"But you wouldn't trade me for anything in the world," Jane unbuckled her seatbelt.
"Damn right, a life without Jane Rizzoli isn't much of a life at all," he got out the car, getting Jane's wheelchair from the back, helping her get in it before they headed to the precinct. Jane was ready to take on the day, it was good to be back, even though she wasn't officially back at work, it felt like something was going back to normal.
So thoughts on this chapter? Frankie having his doubts about being involved with Crowe because his siblings dislike for him we'll have to see how that develops. Jane being amusing with guessing at Frost's lover despite how disturbing her guesses were haha. Happy holidays folks.
