Chris: Last time on Total Drama Island: the final four campers went on an unexpected trip to a completely different island. Percival tried to be the voice of reason while everyone else panicked, and me and Chef took a nice day off. Duke ended up finding a cabin which belonged to none other than the missing Lyle, who'd been living in the wilderness since he was kicked off the show. Lyle promised to take the campers back to Camp Wawanakwa and the five had a nice bonding session overnight. When they eventually found their way back to us and came back to the island, Lyle was eliminated again for breaking the number one rule: no coming back, ever! Tonight, one of the final four will actually go home. Who will it be? Find out now on Total. Drama. ISLAND!
The camera opens up on the island with Chris standing on the dock. The final four are shown outside of the cabins in the pouring rain before each going inside and drifting away in the flood. Percival is seen trying to keep everyone calm as Desiree and Veronica freak out. Chris and Chef are shown relaxing on the other island while the campers look for shelter. Duke is then seen showing the way to the straw hut, followed by Lyle entering as the four sit inside. Lyle is then seen telling them that he'll bring them back in the morning and they all eat dinner together. They're then seen approaching Chris and Chef from the bushes and heading back to the island before Lyle is sent to the dock of shame in a straitjacket, from which he is removed from at Playa Des Losers and reunited with his friends. The camera cuts back to Chris, who finishes his intro. The opening plays, and when it finishes, the four campers are seen being tossed out of a helicopter by Chef and onto a beach.
Percival: What's the deal, Chef? It isn't even seven in the morning!
Chef: This is today's challenge, maggots! Boys work together and girls work together. Each of you get one of these-
He throws a duffel bag down to the two girls and sand flies into their eyes from the impact, and one to the boys, which lands on top of Duke.
Chef: -to help you survive and find your way back home! The first team to make it back wins immunity! Now, get out there and win this thing!
Chef (Confessional):My money's on the boys. Veronica's gonna curl into a ball and die out there.
The helicopter flies away as the four look off at it before it's out of sight. Duke lifts the duffel bag off of him and dusts himself off while Percival takes a look inside.
Veronica (Confessional): The top four, huh? I feel great about being here! I'm in it to win it, no matter how terrifying or deadly "it" may be!
Desiree (Confessional): My alliance is gone and I'm surrounded by people that hate me, this should be a great time! Not.
Duke (Confessional): Oh, yeah! The champ is almost there! I can taste victory now!
Percival (Confessional): First place is just a hop, skip, and jump away! Big thanks to Evander and all my other pals! I couldn't have made it here without you guys!
Percival: Huh, looks like we have a map...some energy bars...a sleeping bag...and that's pretty much it.
Desiree: Ugh! Water? A compass? Bug spray? Is anything in here useful?
Veronica: Can you stop complaining about what we got and just deal with it? Sorry, boys! We're off to go win this challenge, see ya!
The two grab their duffel bag as Veronica holds the compass, leading them off into the woods. Percival takes a good look at the map.
Percival: Okay...so we're her right now...and the campgrounds are way south of here. It's gonna take a while, we'd better get going now.
Duke: Already on it! Give me the map!
Percival: Nope, I don't think so. After what happened in the battleship challenge, I don't trust you with directions.
A flashback is seen of the two getting lost twice during the battleship challenge and Duke shrugs before Percival leads them into the woods. Some time passes and the girls are seen near a creek, sitting down while Veronica is inspecting the compass. Desiree looks around and realizes that the area doesn't look familiar at all.
Desiree: Are you sure you know what you're doing? I've never even seen this place before.
Veronica: Yes, just relax, okay? It's gonna take some time to get to familiar ground, there's nothing to panic about.
Veronica (Confessional): Can you believe it? Me, telling somebody that everything's gonna be okay and that there's nothing to fear? What a strange world.
Desiree: Well, I still don't like this place. It gives me the shivers.
Desiree turns away from Veronica and her eyes widen. The latter continues to look at the compass.
Veronica: It's not like anything bad is gonna happen to us. If we find any wild animals, we'll just leave them be and they won't attack us, okay?
Desiree: Wild animal...
Veronica: Yeah, I just said that.
Desiree: No, look...
Veronica turns around and her eyes widen as well as the camera pans over to show an angry Sasquatchanakwa running towards them. The two scream and start to run away. Meanwhile, the boys are seen, walking together while Percival continues to examine the map.
Duke: How long do you think it'll be until we get back to camp? I'm hungry.
Percival: Eat an energy bar then, there's six of them. We can just eat three each.
Duke: No can do, I finished those already.
Percival: You did what? Why!?
Duke: I just told you I was hungry!
Percival: So you ate all of our food!?
Duke: Yes! What part of that is so hard to understand!?
Percival: Duke! You're such a-
Just then, the girls pass by the boys and confuse them. As they turn to see what they were running from, the see the beast and also scream, running in the same direction. Eventually, they come about a very large tree and climb it, hanging on for dear life while the Sasquatchanakwa shakes the tree furiously. Hours pass and the sun is starting to set, and the beast finally leaves, causing the four to sigh in relief as they slide down the tree.
Chef (Confessional): Turns out, you can make just about anything angry enough to attack on sight by taunting it. Boy, was that creature mad.
Duke: That was crazy, that was just like that time that we had to camp in the woods and the bears attacked me and everyone hid in the trees.
A flashback is shown of Duke getting attacked by several bears while his team climbs a tree to stay safe. He laughs and the other three roll their eyes. The girls start to walk away from them again.
Desiree: We're off again, you know, to win this thing. Ciao!
Percival: Yeah, yeah. Come on, Duke.
The two head in a similar direction as the girls and are seen passing by a raccoon. Duke stops and stares at it, causing it to blankly stare back at him.
Duke: Raccoon...
Percival turns to face him with an irritated look on his face.
Percival: Yeah? What about it? You see plenty of raccoons around here.
Duke: Raccoons are made of meat...I need meat!
Duke starts running towards the raccoon, causing it to run away.
Percival: Duke! Ugh.
He follows after the wrestler and the camera cuts back to the girls, who are passing by a bear cave.
Desiree: We've passed by this cave four times now! You have no idea where we are, do you?
Veronica: I do, it's just a little confusing. Calm down, already. Geez.
Desiree: No! I'm tired of this! Give me the compass, you don't know what you're doing.
She tries to grab it from her, but she doesn't let go.
Veronica: No! You're gonna get us even more lost!
Desiree: Aha! So you admit that we're lost!
Veronica: Shut up!
The compass breaks from the pressure and the two look down at the pieces, shocked, before looking back up at each other, both angry.
Desiree: Great going, Veronica.
Veronica: Excuse me? This is all your fault! You can't just let anybody do anything you have to butt in and mess things up!
Desiree: Oh yeah? Well at least I'm not boring.
Veronica: Well, at least I don't embarrass other people for my own personal enjoyment! Nobody on this show even likes you!
Desiree: Oh, cry me a river. Do you really think that you, the person who's scared of her own shadow, has that many friends?
Veronica: Whatever, let's just keep going until we lose this stupid challenge because of you and one of us gets eliminated.
Desiree: Fine.
Desiree (Confessional): the nerve of her! I can't believe I'm stuck with her!
The two continue to walk without even looking at each other as the day fades to night. Percival is shown again, entering a clearing. He sees Duke on the ground, passed out while the raccoon stares down at him from the tree. He lightly kicks him to wake him up.
Duke: Hey, what's the big idea? I'm sleeping here...
Percival: Did you forget that we have a challenge to win? Come on, man, it can't be that much further.
Duke: I know...but I'm so tired.
Percival rolls his eyes and sits down next to him.
Percival: Fine, you can nap for an hour. But I'm waking you up when that hour's over, got it?
Duke: Yeah, yeah...
Duke falls back asleep and Percival keeps watch, staring at the raccoon. Before long, his eyes start to feel heavy and he struggles to keep them open. Slowly but surely, his eyes close and he falls forward into the grass, sleeping next to his partner. The camera shows the girls, sleeping at the bases of two separate trees. The camera pans up into the sky and the sun rises, panning back down to show Percival slowly waking up and smacking his lips before his eyes widen and he shakes Duke.
Duke: What!? What!?
Percival: It's the morning! We have to hurry up or the girls are gonna beat us!
The two snap up and start running off in one direction. As the dash through trees and bushes, the campgrounds slowly comes into sight with a finish line that still hasn't been passed by the girls. Chris and Chef are both seen sitting down there, waiting for the campers.
Percival: Duke, look! There it is!
Duke: We're gonna make it! Aw yeah!
Suddenly, the girls pop out from a bush behind them, running towards the campgrounds as well. They notice the boys ahead of them.
Desiree: Great, just great. The guys are ahead of us now because of you!
Veronica: Can you not do this right now? Just go, we have to try to win!
As the two continue to run, the boys near the finish line. Suddenly, Sasquatchanakwa reappears behind all the campers, still angry, and now, carrying a very large rock. It hurls the rock at the campers, hitting Veronica and pinning her to the ground by her leg. She screams and the boys skid to a halt right before the finish line, turning to see what's happened behind them.
Percival and Duke: Veronica!
They start to run back towards their injured friend, passing by Desiree on the way. When they reach her, the start to try and lift the boulder, struggling.
Percival: Desiree! Aren't you going to help?
Duke: Yeah! She's stuck under here!
Desiree turns to face them and scratches her chin in thought.
Desiree: Hm...yeah, no. I'm more interested in the guaranteed invincibility tonight! Later, losers!
The camera freezes on her and Chris voices over the screen.
Chris: Wow, that girl is eviiiiil! Makes for a good show, though!
The camera unfreezes and Desiree turns to run towards the finish line again. Finally, the boys manage to lift the boulder off of Veronica's leg, helping her up as she puts her arms around their shoulders. Desiree then passes the finish line, meeting Chris and Chef on the other side.
Desiree: Woohoo! I win!
Chris: Desiree, that was really harsh, man.
Desiree: Oh, whatever. Just give me my invincibility already.
The boys pass the finish line with Veronica, all looking over at Desiree, angrily. Chris sighs.
Chris: Alright, the girls win this challenge. Sorry, dudes.
Desiree happily prances off to the cabins while the other three look down, sort of upset.
Veronica: Thanks for the help back there, guys...
Duke: Anything for a pal!
Veronica: But now one of you is going to get eliminated...it's all my fault...
Percival: You didn't choose to get attacked by that crazy monkey man, right? Then it's not your fault.
She smiles up at them and they smile back, before being interrupted by Chris.
Chris: I hate to break up this touchy moment, but you guys gotta do some planning on which one of your friends you wanna kick off the show in front of the whole viewing world, remember?
They sigh and the camera pans up, showing the sun turn to moon again. As it pans back down, the four campers are seen, seated at the campfire are. Veronica is now fitted with a proper cast on her leg. The three buddies glare at Desiree, who is sitting away from them and looking over, smugly, knowing that she can't be eliminated. Chris approaches them, but isn't holding his usual marshmallow platter, giving rise to some confused looks from the campers.
Desiree: Uh, Chris? You forgot the marshmallows.
Chris: I'm sure you guys know all about the elimination ceremony?
Duke: Yeah?
Chris: You know, the one where you all vote to have one of the campers removed from the island? Where we force them to walk the dock of shame? Catch the boat of losers? Never come back to the island, ever?
Percival: Yes, get on with it!
Chris: Well, if things were happening normally tonight, then Percival, you'd be on your way right about now.
Percival: What!?
Chris: Shush! Let me finish talking, gosh!
Percival shoots a glare his way.
Chris: Well, it's true. The most votes tonight would've gotten Percival here eliminated from the game. But, after a long and drawn out conversation with the show's producers, we've come to an agreement. According to the incredibly serious injury clause in everybody's contracts, any camper who sustains an injury serious enough for them to be deemed by us, "unable to compete," will be eliminated at the next ceremony, regardless of any votes or immunity that they may have accrued.
Veronica: So, you mean...
Chris: Yep, Veronica, you're out!
The guys gasp and look at her, who seems to be slightly smiling through her tear-filled eyes.
Duke: V-Dog? You're smiling?
Veronica: Yeah...yeah, I am.
Percival: But why? You're being eliminated!
Veronica: Before I came here, I was scared of literally everything on the face of the planet. But after meeting people like you and Roxy, well...I feel like I can take on anything! Yeah, I lost, but I've had such a good time here with you guys, so what does it matter?
The three hug each other and Desiree rolls her eyes before they break up the hug and Veronica, with crutches, makes her way to the boat of losers. As it starts to depart, she shouts back to the other campers.
Veronica: Hey, guys! Kick Desiree's butt for me!
Percival: Oh, you know it!
Duke: Goodbye, V-Dog!
The boat takes her out of sight and the guys look over to see that Desiree is no longer at the campfire. The camera cuts to her in her cabin, brushing her hair as she hears a knock on the door. Irritated, she goes to open it, seeing a box in front of the door. As she opens it, bees swarm out of it and she screams, running away from them as they chase her. Percival and Duke can be seen behind the cabin, snickering as the camera fades to black.
