CH 84

Bus parking a the Houston Stadium was full. Being a pre season game, the attendance was above normal. The 50 yard line seats near the field went for a premium price, but John paid for them anyway for the all the families around the lake an the two busload that came from Driftwood.

Making their way into the large stadium, they followed the overhead signs to their seating section. Their tickets were checked in the tunnels out to the field. Getting to their seats, a reporter and cameraman stopped some girls from town, seeing the had brought a large banner with them.

The scene showed up in the large screens around the stadium.

"Ladies, I see the banner you have, which team is it for?"

"It's for Joan!" They unrolled it and held it up. It read, : Joan's TNT, she's dynamite!

"So, who's Joan?" the reporter asked.

"Quarterback from our hometown!"

"She's playing for Dallas, and she's going to kick ass!" another girl cheered.

"Wow, I take it you've seen her play before?"

"We have! If anyone can get touchdowns, it's Joan."

"Every friggin time!"

"I can't wait to see what happens when she gets on the field," the reporter said. "Up here is another big sign, let's go see it."

.

After she dressed, Joan went over the rules differences again. There weren't many. The extra point was a field goal, not another attempt at the end zone. Punting was allowed on the forth down, anywhere on the field. The changes weren't many but she wanted to be sure she had them all.

Suited up, Joan met her team outside the men's locker room. They all got in line in the tunnel, Joan in the middle, and waited for their turn to run out on the field. When they were called out, thy ran out past the bitchy cheer leaders cheered and shook their pompoms for the team as they jogged past.

"And here's the teams out on the field! This is a big crowd for the first game of the year!" the announcer called.

In front of her, the cheer leaders were doing their dance. Behind her she head a loud, familiar chant.

TNT

Joan's dynamite!

TNT

and she'll win the fight!

TNT

She's a power load

TNT

watch her explode!

Joan had to smirk. She could tell the cheer leaders were not happy about that chant. A few smiles were fading.

The national Anthem was called, all the cheer leaders ran to the side. The man to her left took a knee. She grabbed his collar and pulled him upright. "Stand, or I'll stand you."

"Get off me!"

"Then stand up."

He glared at her, but stayed on his feet.

After the Anthem, he walked over to complain to the coach. Emerson told him, "You start a fight, and you're out of the game."

Joan didn't notice it, but standing and holding him up went on the big screens. She didn't know why there was such applause.

The coaches went out for the coin toss. Dallas got the toss. "Coach!" Joan called, "Let me go out for the kickoff, I LOVE doing this!"

"Second quarter, not now," he said firmly.

"Man," Joan whined and went over and sat on the bench.

The man she'd pulled to his feet sat next to her. "You do that again, we're gonna have a big problem!" he warned.

"No, you'll be busted up, moaning on the ground," Joan replied as she watched the teams set up.

"Think you're hot shit, don't you?"

"I know I am," she said as she watched the football get kicked. It was a good, high kick. One of the their players caught it and charged a whole six yards before he was taken down.

Dennis did a couple runs. He made four yards, then five. He did a pass play that he barely got off, and only went 12 yards. Another run for three yards. Another pass that was incomplete, then his run from a receiver was stopped with a lousy 1 yard gained.

Watching the defenders, Joan took note of them. They were a little weaker in the right side, and the safeties stayed right beside the receivers that came out. It was the same pattern every time. Their offensive line was doing good, holding the defense back. The drive downfield petered out on the Houston 37 yard line with a failed 4th down.

The man by her got up and went out to defend as the teams changed over.

The linemen had listened to her. ON the hike they crashed low and fast into the Houston line. He man that was by her shoved the Houston man he was covering back on his ass and ran through. Two other stumbled back. The Houston quarterback had moved back to pass, the changed his mind, tucked and ran. He didn't make it. He was sacked for a three yard loss.

The next play he did a shotgun and got the ball off. The receiver caught it and was pushed out of bounds, eight yard gain.

The first quarter went on like this, Houston drove down to the Dallas 25, then a fumble was jumped on, making a turnover. Dallas then drove painfully down the field and was stopped at the Houston 17. Huston got the ball back and at their 47 yard line, lost the ball on downs.

The first quarter ended scoreless.

As the whole team gathered at the end of the first quarter, Coach Emerson said, "All right, Joan, get out there! They will be expecting the same this quarter. Show them differently. Mix up the plays and keep them off balance."

"Got it!"

Heading back out on the field, she heard the announcer. "Dallas is has changed quarterbacks. Number 32, Joan Connor is now the Dallas quarterback."

Joan gathered her team into a huddle. "OK, Their defense is a little weak on the right. Shotgun start, I'll fly over the right side. Danny, go out like you're getting ready to catch a pass on the right but watch for me and keep that safety off me. I call two numbers, then hike."

"You're going over the line?" Danny asked.

"Yup, let's go!" Joan announced and clapped her hands.

The announcer said, "Joan Connor came from the women's league, it will be interesting to see how she does."

They got set up. Joan hiked. she charged the ball and caught it then raced over to the right some and leaped up to hurdle the line. Coming down on the other side, she saw the safeties staring at her. She took off running as cheers roared from the sides. Pushing hard she watched the safety on her left running at her to intercept. She kept on her straight path until he was almost to her, then cut left behind him. He tried to follow and slipped. She raced on and into the end zone. There she spiked the ball on the ground and pumped a fist.

"Touchdown, Dallas! That was an amazing play, we've never seen anything like that before. We checked the rules, there is nothing saying the quarterback can't jump over the line! No one has ever attempted that before!"

"Look at the Houston team, They were stunned by that play. No one expected anything like that!"

"Jump the line, avoid a tackle, and she did it at a speed that's very hard to match! That girl was flying down the field."

"I think Houston may be in trouble."

They are set up for the kick... and it's good!"

Joan walked back to the benches, her fans were calling out the TNT chant. Joan pumped her fist in time with them.

"Like that, Coach?" Joan asked, beaming him a smile.

"Just like that," he agreed, grinning broadly.

It was Houston's ball. They worked their way down to the Dallas 46 yard line, then attempted a pass. It was intercepted. The safety didn't get far on his return run, but Dallas had the ball again.

Joan got her huddle together. "Again shotgun start,The safeties will probably be watching for me to do another jump. Receivers, this time go out and run your asses off to the end zone. I'll run back and pass. Long bomb. Let's go!"

As Joan suspected, the safeties set up farther in, and watching her closely. She hiked the ball and took off to run down to their own 20 yard line. Stopping and turning, she saw some Houston players were following her, looking confused. She had plenty of time to pick her target and throw, The safeties just realized it was a pass play, they were far out of position. Her ball flew straight to where her left receiver had just turned around near the end zone, he caught the pass and stumbled back into the end zone before he fell.

"Touchdown Dallas! A long bomb from their own 20!"

"Did you see that reception? That ball knocked him over!"

"Good thing he was near the end zone."

"Someone put a rocket on the football?"

"I got information here on Joan Connor's Acoustic records. She's never had a second down. Every time she goes out on the field, she gets a touchdown. This last year she was quarterback MVP of the league. With am arm like that, I can see why."

"Dallas is now ahead 14 to zero, both downs. If Houston can't stop Connor, they may be looking at a humiliating defeat."

Houston got the ball and made some yards with a sneak play. Their quarterback ran back to try a log bomb. Their line getting broke up, a pair of Dallas defenders chased him. he tried to run and got tackled, loosing 15 yards.

Having 23 yards to go to get a first down, they didn't make it. Joan went out again. She scanned the defenders. it wasn't far to the goal, only 30 yards.

Joan got her huddle together. "OK, guys, normal starting positions, Line men get in their faces, Receivers, shadow me to the sides. I'm running low and to the right. Clear me a hole. Let's go!"

At the hike, Joan took off to the right, bent low. Seeing an opening, she charged through and stiff armed a defender out of her way. He tumbled as she ran through the line, the safety on this side saw her and ran at her. She ran at him and bend low at the last second then pushed up as they slammed together. He bounced over her, Joan ran into the end zone.

"Touchdown Dallas! Did you see that? Connor plowed through the line and knocked that safety right over her back!"

"I would have never thought that she would have that kind of strength. I swear I felt that hit when that safety ran into her. That was bone-crushing!"

"He all but swallowed her and she threw him off! Can anything stop her?"

"That's three possessions in this quarter for Dallas, and three immediate touchdowns. This is unbelievable!"

The safety Joan ran into was being helped off the field.

The second quarter ended 28-0, much to the delight of the Dallas fans.

At halftime, more reporters wanted to talk to Joan. She'd gone from a novelty to a real news item in one quarter of play. Although she wanted to spend some time with Bob, she spend it taking to reporters.

"Joan, when that safety ran at you, you charged him and he went flying over your back. HOW did you to that?"

Joan grinned. "Leverage. He was using strength and momentum to try and tackle me. I used leverage to use his momentum against him. He went flying, I kept going."

"You have used some very controversial plays. Are these plays you made up?"

"Not really. When I was young, I watched my mothers play. Much of what I do is variations of what my Mother, Cameron, did when she played college football."

"Cameron Connor? She's your mother?"

"Yup!" Joan beamed. "Instead of brute force, I use speed, position and leverage to complete most plays. Going through the line, that one lineman was already being pushed on by my lineman, so it was easy to double-team him and get him to fall. That opened a hole and zoom! I was past them."

"You have a unique style, and a winning one. Good luck Joan!"

"Thank you!"

A reporter also talked to the Houston Coach. "What do you think of the new Dallas quarterback?"

"The shock factor is there, no doubt about it. Part of it as I see it, is she's so small, it's hard to keep track of her. She is fast and talented. We will devise a plan to deal with her now we get to see the plays she uses. Once we shift our defense, we'll stop her then come back to gain some points."

After the bands played in halftime, the big screens showed the pack of girls with their TNT banner. Seeing themselves, they cheered and shook the banner.

A sports analyst said, "These girls got it right. Joan Connor is dynamite out there on the field! What is making her so dangerous to Houston is her combined speed, throwing ability and accuracy, and her ability to pull off unique plays no one's ever seen before. I can easily see her being game MVP. She has a full bag of tricks, and she knows how to use them."

"The teams are going back out on the field for the third quarter! It's Houston's ball, let's see if they can answer a few of these goals."

.

Joan watched Houston struggle down field and talked to the coach. "I want to try a Quarterback sneak next. Bob is fast, I put him on center, then I try to push through the line next to him. They'll be all over me, he takes off. By the time they realize I don't have the ball, he'll be gone down field."

Coach Emerson grinned. "It's the last thing Houston will be expecting you to do."

"Yup."

Houston made it down to the Dallas 13 in their drive. Their next play was a pass. The quarterback got the ball off and in watching the ball to catch in, the receiver ran out of bounds. They tried again and the quarterback was sacked and they lost 4 yards. The third try, they tried to punch through the middle and were stopped with only a two yard gain. Turnover on downs.

As this was happening, Joan told her offense, "We have to do this play fast. Bob, you're center, We're doing a QB sneak. At the hike, you keep it and charge. I'll charge right beside you like I'm going to do a jump. Tuck the ball low, get clear as fast as you can, I'll probably have a couple guys on me. Line, guard him."

They went out, did a fast huddle and lined up. The instant Houston's defense was in place, Joan called, Sixteen, HIKE!" She felt the ball touch her hands, she tucked nothing and jumped up into the line. Immediately, the defender in front of Bob, and the one on her other side crashed into her and drove her backwards to the ground. Bob shot away and raced down field.

Lying on her back, Joan grinned at the men on her. "Great tackle! But I don't have the ball."

One spit out a curse. They got up as a safety chased Bob to the end zone.

"Touchdown, Dallas!"

"Connor got put down hard on the ground that time, but it was a quarterback sneak. No one does a quarterback sneak with so much turf to go, and on their first down!"

"That's why it worked. Houston saw her jump and were quick to stop her. It looks like she's all right. Getting driven to the ground by 500 pounds of linebacker, I'm surprise she's not crushed."

"Joan Connor is turning out to be one tough woman! She sacrificed herself for that play."

"She set up and started the play fast. I don't think Huston dreamed she'd give the ball away. It's almost like she's reading what Houston is expecting her to do."

"They have to be getting frustrated."

When the score reached 49-0, Coach Emerson put Dennis back on the line as quarterback. Joan cast him a questioning look. "Why put Dennis back in?" she asked. "I can drive that score through the roof."

He frowned at her. "Joan, you ran them over. There is no way they can catch up and Dennis needs to get more field experience. We're up 49 points, and in the 4th quarter. We got this game won."

"Hokay," she said with a sigh and went over to sit by Bob. She saved his seat when he went out to struggle up field with Dennis. For her, the rest of the game was boring. She might as well be out there dancing with the cheer leaders.

.

Joan never knew there were so many magazines. Sports Illustrated he figured on. USA today, Sports weekly, and The Cowboys even had their own magazine. She was swamped with requests from the men's magazines that usually bothered the cheer leaders. The game wasn't even over yet and she was being propositioned for photo shoots.

It amazed her that they were willing to pay her that much money to see her naked. She declined all of them except the team magazine and Sport Illustrated after she got them to agree to a 'no nudity' clause. Thy were also paying her $10K for every picture they published.

Pictures were being snapped of her constantly. After the game, Joan had a 'photographic manager' talk to her Dad about doing a photo shoot at the house. They wanted a few more pics of her and her alligator. He declined like she thought he would. They didn't want people to know where their house was.

Although the team had another game next Friday, Coach Emerson cleared her to do the Sports Illustrated shoot. She did a shoot in her Austin uniform, then a bikini beach shoot, one in her mermaid tail on the beach, then she swam out to do a tail stand and a jump. She spent three days getting pictures taken of her. Then she and Bob had to run back to Dallas for the Friday game.

.

The Chicago game was a little tougher, in that their offense was better. They traded touchdowns the whole game. Coach Emerson kept Joan in the full game, and Chicago almost got an interception, but when the safety caught the ball, it bounced away after knocking him down. That was Joan's fault, she hadn't lead her receiver at the right angle.

70-56 was still a win.

Sitting in the big hot tub at Greg's house, Joan leaned her head on Bob's shoulder as he looked through the new ports Illustrated that just came out. The magazine sent Joan a copy.

"This is a really good write up," Bob said. "Pictures are pretty hot too."

"Somehow, they made me look prettier than I am," Joan noted, looking at the beach profile shot of her sitting with her mermaid tail on.

"Naw, you're hot, hon," Bob assured her. He then got to the centerfold and unfolded it to show Joan in her Acoustics uniform, holding a football.

Joan saw her curves and muscle creases looked a little exaggerated.

Bob chuckled and sang, "My blood runs cold! My memory had just been sold, my angel is a centerfold!"

Joan laughed at him.

"I bet every guy in America wants to do you," he said, folded up the centerfold and moved on.

"They can all pine away," she replied.

"Awww, here's a sweet pic," Bob said. It was a picture of Joan hugging her alligator. He read, "With friends like this, no wonder she has no problem charging the line."

"They did to a good job in this article. Doing those shoots, I thought it was going to be only a sex show, as Dad puts it," Joan said.

"They always put some sexy stuff in here to sell mags. The thing is, the write up does portray you as a serious athlete. They did you justice."

"Paid us well, too."

"That's always good."

.

Night vision goggles on, silencers on their pistols, Simons' team sneaked into the the older Littleton's house. There was another house a ways away. That one had buses and some shacks near it. They would do this house first.

Sneaking on, they checked out rooms. Coming to a bedroom with a big bed with two men and a woman in it, Simon motioned to kill them men on either side of the woman.

Soft pops sounded. one of the men jerked as he died. The woman opened her eyes ans creamed a loud piercing scream. Simon shot her in the head to shut her up.

"Damn it," he grumbled. He was hoping to keep her quiet s he could gt information on that other house.

"Hey, Boss, look," one of his men said and pointed out the window.

The woman's scream had alerted others. Men came out of a couple buses and from the shacks. They were panning lights and talking in Spanish.

"We'll come back and finish this later, Find the back door."

.

The sheriff was awoken at 2:30 Am by pounding on his door. He and Aliana got out of bed, Aliana threw a robe on to cover her nakedness.

"Coming!" he called and went out in his night shorts to see who it was. One of the migrant buses was outside. He opened the door to see Pedro, looking scared.

Pointing back up the road with a shaking hand, Pedro said, "We heard a scream! We thought someone was hurt so we went looking, Juan looked in the older Littelton house, and saw someone shot them!"

The sheriff let out a huff. "All your people here?"

"Si! We woke up the other ones, told them to lock the doors. Then we came to get you."

Calmly he said, "Park the bus around the side, stay here, I need to get some clothes on. Be right out."

The sheriff had Aliana go to the house. He got in his car and went there. On the way he called the State Police and Aliana appeared in the passenger seat.

"Three dead, shot as they slept it looks like. Four men are running running north off the road, heading for their car."

"Go slash all their tires," he told her. She disappeared.

Lights on, he drove faster to get to the perps car.

Aliana came back. "Tires slashed and flat."

"Go go to the other Littleton house, protect them and keep them from becoming hostages."

She disappeared again.

Coming up on the car, He pulled off the road so his lights shown on it. Using his search light, he didn't see anyone around. He got out to look at the plate on the car.

Simon saw the cop car coming, he and his men hit the dirt. a light passed over them, then they heard a car door shut.

"Fuck, they got our car!" a man hissed.

"It's only one man," Simon said and pulled his gun. "Everyone, aim. Fire when I do."

Simon waited for him to walk around the back and put his flashlight on the license plate. He shot, all his men shot. The man stumbled back and fell down. "Go!"

They got up and ran at the car to see the flat tires. The cop was dead. "We take his car, get in!"

They ran to the cop car to pile in. A shot sounded, The man getting in to drive fell to the ground and screamed. Simon looked, the cop was up, gun out.

"We killed him!" another man cried.

"He must be an immortal. Put him down again!" he barked and got out. Getting out, he aimed. The cop had ducked down behind their car. on the road, one of his men walked towards the car, un aimed. A shot sounded, his man fell.

Fuck, this was turning bad, fast. Simon ran to the side low and headed out away from the road to circle around the cop. He herd a siren and saw flashing lights. More cops were coming. He slipped off to the side. When he was clear, he ran.

.

The sheriff watched and listened. He tagged another perp, then the statie arrived. He pulled his badge to display it and kept up his aim on his car. Seeing a figure run, he yelled, "Halt!" The figure didn't, so he shot. The State police got out, they and the sheriff cleared the area and got an ambulance for the wounded man beside the sheriff's car.

"What caused this?" the State cop asked.

Watching the countryside where the last man fell so they wouldn't see his bloody shirt, the sheriff told him. "Down the road about three quarters of a mile, these guys murdered a family. The wine orchards, second house back from the road. Immigrants came to let me know, they are at my house now. I haven't been to the house that was attacked yet. Situation there is unknown. That was my next stop."

"We called for backup as soon as we saw you. Stay here at this scene, we'll go check out that house."

.

"How did you get in here?"

Ailana turned from the window to see the pale haired man gaping at her. "Hi, I'm the sheriff's secretary. He told me to come watch over you in case those men come back."

"Thank you, but, how did you get in? The door's locked."

"I just passed through it," she said with a flip of her hand. Hearing a siren, she went over to the window facing the road. "It's OK now, the police are here," she said. She ran for the door and disappeared.

Appearing outside, Ailana waved at the cop car then pointed at the other house. They stopped by her. "Ma'am, did you see what happened?"

"I saw in the house, the older Litlletons were shot in their bed. The sheriff went after those who did it. He left me her to guard the rest of the family."

"Who are you?"

"I'm the sheriff's secretary."

.

It as a long night, and following day. Right after the State police left, the sheriff got in his trunk and replaced his shirt, using the holed one to wipe the blood off his chest before he put the new one on. Coming around to his driver's side he looked down on the moaning man holding his stomach.

"Stay still, an ambulance is coming."

The man looked up at him and groaned out, "We killed you!"

"Apparently not. Who's your boss?"

"Fuck you, you freak," the man hissed.

"No, fuck you," the sheriff said and stepped on his wound.

The man screamed. "STOP!"

"Who's your boss?"

"Stop!"

"After I hear your boss's name," He stepped down harder.

"Horton! He's the boss!"

The sheriff removed his foot "See, was that so hard? Where is this Horton? Or do I do a tap dance on your bloody belly?"

In a gasp, the man said, "He moves around. Only Simon knows where he is."

"And where is Simon?"

"I think he fled, if you didn't kill him, you freak!"

"Why kill the Littletons? What did they ever do to you?"

"They are aliens. They. Don't. Belong. here!" the man spat in huffs. He grimaced then passed out.

.

Cop cars, detectives ambulances and a coroner's car. The Littleton farm had many visitors. Everyone was interviewed. At the sheriff's house, the migrants were all interviewed. The sheriff found he had a ton of paperwork to do. The worst part of shooting someone was the paperwork and explaining yourself after it was over.

Knowing he was going to be tired up with forms and filling out statements, the sheriff told Aliana, "Go see if you can find this Simon. Learn everything you can about him and his boss, this Horton fellow."

"I will find them. What do I do when I have them?" she asked.

In amusing tone, he said, "The Littltons were irritating, that is true. They never did anything to anyone, the only ones they ever hurt, were themselves. To gun them down for no reason other than they were different is a special kind of evil." He looked to at her and sported a brief smile. "Make sure these killers don't kill anyone else. How, is up to you."

She grew a grin. "Yes, Master, your will we be obeyed." She disappeared.

.

Simon was miserable. He thought he knew where the road went, but somehow, he lost it. He plodded along and cursed that woman for screaming. It had been a piercing, terrified scream that was loud and woke up people nearby. Humans, not targets. Then they got in a fight with an immortal cop, and didn't even have blades to finish him. What a disaster!

Hearing the sound of an engine, he looked off to the right. a cloud of dust was angling towards him. Even though he was exhausted, he forced himself into a trot. He topped a knoll to see the dirt road on front of him, he ran down to the road and waved hi arm at the rusty old truck coming his way. Driving it was a curly, dark haired woman with her elbow out the window. She slowed and stopped to frown at him.

"What are to doing out here?" she asked.

Her button down shirt was low cut, her large breasts held it out to show cleavage. Damn, she was pretty. "I need a ride."

"Hop in," she said with a tip of her head.

He went around and got in.

"Where ya headed?" she asked and kept driving.

He took out his cell phone and looked at the bars. "Someplace to get cell service." he said. "Then Clovis."

"Clovis?" she asked.

"It's in New Mexico."

"Taking a trip? How are you getting there?" she asked.

"He pulled his pistol out. "You're driving me."

She looked the gun and grinned. "OH, you you're a forceful one, huh?"

"Behave and I won't have to show you how much," he warned.

"Oh! I'm scared," she said with a wide grin.

"I got no problem killing you," he stated.

"You should have, I'd driving," she said and stepped on the gas. "And guess what? No seat belts or air bags! You shoot and I yank the wheel." She then sang, "Guess what's gonna happen."

"Do that and you'll be dead!"

"You'll be worse, stuck out here hurt and in the middle of nowhere," she replied.

Simon swallowed. she just might be crazy enough to do it.

She held her hand out. In a smooth, sexy tone, she said, "Give me the gun."

He handed it over automatically. She threw it out the window. Only after it sailed out, he realized what he did.

"You're not as bad ass as you think, Simon," she told him.

"How do you know my name!" he asked in a challenge.

"Oh," she cooed, "No reason to use that tone with me. Look at my legs, aren't they sexy, Hmm?"

He did, and that little short skirt didn't hide very much of them. Yeah, she was real sexy.

"Bet you want to touch them, slide your hands up and down, feel a bit where you can't quite see?" she asked in her smooth tone.

"Oh yeah," He agreed.

"Then come over here, put your head on my lap and see what you're missing," she coaxed.

He did. Now that she had him charmed she brought her tail out and slapped the spaded end on his forehead. As he petted her leg in a daze, she read his mind. She got everything he knew. She then put him to sleep. Aliana still had use for him.

Aliana turned her truck invisible, stopped making the engine noise and the truck sprouted a pair of leathern wings and lifted up in the air to fly to New Mexico.

.

"Wakey wakey!" Simon heard as his face was lightly slapped. He sat up quick and looked around he was in the old pickup truck with the dark haired woman. He remembered getting in to get a ride from her. They were parked by the side of a road.

"Where are we?" he asked.

She pointed out the window. "You wanted to come to Clovis, New Mexico, didn't you?" she asked.

Out the windshield was a sign welcoming them to Clovis. "We're here already?" He'd just gotten into the truck.

"You were so tired you fell asleep. You slept all the way," she told him. "We came to see Horton, right?"

He nodded absently, then looked at her, wondering how she knew that.

"So, where do we go?" she asked.

"How did you know who I was coming to see?"

"You were half asleep telling me how to get here as you were petting my leg," she replied smoothly.

He looked at her legs. Right, those smooth sexy legs. Man how he wanted to get in between them!

"Let's go see Horton, then we can play with legs, OK?" she coaxed.

"OK! Go into town, take the second right," he instructed.

She drove him to an dilapidated building on the edge of town. The man by the entrance nodded, Simon nodded back.

"Guard?" Aliana asked.

"Yeah, he know who' allowed in and who's not." Right after he said it, he wondered why he told her that.

He had her park in the back by a couple other cars. They got out. She let him go first into the back. He knocked a coded knock. The door opened.

A man with a pistol out asked, "Who's She?"

"I want to help remove the filth in this world," Aliana stated.

"It's OK, she's with me," Simon said.

"She'll have to wait in back here until she's cleared," the man said firmly.

"Go ahead, I'll wait," she said.

Simon went on through the next door.

"Have a seat," the man said motioning with his pistol.

In a smooth fast move, Aliana brought her nails out stuck one handful of the up under his ribs, and chopped his gun hand off with the other hand.

Wide eyes and unable to breathe the man gaped at her.

"I think you need to sit," she told him and pushed him into a chair. he then pulled up and out with the nails inside him, ripping his chest open. She lowered him to the floor as he bled all over the place. She then followed Simon.

.
