Albus left and shortly afterwards his portraits were put to sleep along with his phoenix by a disillusioned Lindsay Snape. She entered his office freezing all of his whirring objects which were very annoying and distracting and then groaned at the mess she knew she would find here. She had her house elf Tilly with her and had asked to her go around pulling on every book in the shelves while she searched the walls for hidden compartments. A few seconds into her work Tilly squealed. "Miss I found something!" she said as Lindsay came over and chuckled at what she was seeing. There in Tilly's hand was a copy of around the world in eighty days by Jules Verne. Behind her was a huge opened compartment full of various things.

"Thank you Tilly and may I say how predictable this all is. Please continue. More than likely he'd be relying on someone finding this and leaving it there but we are thorough and we leave no stone unturned in our work don't we!" she said proudly cooing at a beaming Tilly as she glanced into the large cupboard style space hidden behind the facade of the bookshelf. Once she looked inside properly and saw it all she gasped and managed to just conjure a bucket in time to throw up in. She was sickened. He had potions he had developed in here and not only that but he had detailed descriptions of what they were meant to do on the bottles so he wouldn't forget it in the future. This was good for her but also very sickening. I mean some of the things were pure evil and in all honesty not something you'd ever think the likes of him would have in his possession. It was a bit of a mind fuck if she was honest but so was much of what she did in her job on a daily basis.

He had potions for slow disembowelling, potions which were in essence the liquid form of the crutiatus curse which he had somehow managed to develop into a potion and everything in between. There were vials and vials of blood of which she couldn't identify. Who or what did the blood belong to? The green blood she knew was goblin blood and the black blood she knew was dragon's blood but what was the rest of it including the blue, red and purple blood? Tilly was nervous and scared for her Missy Snape but didn't say anything yet as she wasn't sure if she should or not.

"I'm alright Tilly don't you worry sweetie. Please take one bottle of each potion carefully now and bring it to Professor Severus Snape. Tell him he needs to examine these because I found them in the headmaster's office!" she said as Tilly did so. Severus was just finished a lesson when Tilly popped in making him jump.

"Missy Snape says she found these in the headmaster's office and you need to look at them for her!" she said handing them over to a stunned Snape.

"Thank you Tilly. I will look over those now and get back to you both on it when I am done. Tell her please that if she needs my assistance I will join her in the office!" he said sweeping from the classroom into his personal lab to look the potions over and shuddered at the bottles. If the labels were anything to go by he'd be very concerned indeed. Of course it could have been Albus' way to attempt being cunning by having heinous labels on potions which weren't at all heinous. It would be amusing after all not that Severus was amused now of course. That was Dumbledore's problem though. He often tried to be funny in all the wrong moments or a smartass when the time for that was not now.

Severus started with the potion which was meant to be the liquid form of the crutiatus. He used a dropper to feed it to a live rat he had before him. The rat did shudder slightly but didn't cry out in agony like he should have. Severus grabbed a bezoar and tried one drop of the potion himself and jumped. It tasted awful and so damn sour! He realised a few moments later it was melted down fucking lemon drops. He'd clearly intended to prank someone himself. The disembowelling potion went to the rat next which turned bright aqua marine blue. Severus had never felt so angry. There was nothing cunning about this and it definitely wasn't funny at all! The next couple of potions were much the same. It was almost like having Dumbledore there laughing at them.

The next potion he tested was a severe poison which killed the rat slowly and gave him the willies. He documented everything thoroughly none the less. How did it go from melted lemon drops to life threatening poisons? There was literally no sense to it at all.

Upstairs a horrified Lindsay had completely cleared everything out of every orifice of his office. Tilly had delivered them to the office for her while she took a collection of goblin blood vials with her to the bank. Her office were friends of the goblin nation through her in particular after she'd secured some of their most prized lost possessions a few year back. This meant that anything they found of interest would be brought to the bank at once and they wouldn't be judged for anything they had found. She entered the bank looking solemn indeed.

"I need to speak to Sharpaxe at once! I found something in my latest raid and he will not like it one bit!" she said as the stunned goblin was called to her. He led her into a side office looking very confused.

"Lindsay my dear you look very troubled indeed. I can assure you that we have seen it all so you do not need to fear my reactions!" he said kindly or as kindly as a goblin can.

"I have retrieved the contents of this box from the raid of high level citizen who is suspected of giving an illegal potion to a minor which was subsequently used to harm another. He had this in his office and I thought to return it to you as that would be only right!" she said sliding the box over the table to Sharpaxe who looked warily at it for a moment before opening it and growling loudly whilst banging on the table. He suddenly made a shrieking noise unlike anything she'd ever heard before and made her jump at the noise. He suddenly dashed to the corner reaching into a random drawer and pulling out a random box. He then dumped the contents of the bottle into the box which steamed and puffed as he looked at her.

"This will tell me not only who it belongs to why and how they died!" he explained sharply as he turned back to the box. In a few minutes a parchment piece came out which he took and read scowling his head off.

"This is the blood of Braincleave who died via the AK spell after he refused a bribe from Albus Dumbledore outside of the bank to tamper with various accounts in nineteen eighty nine. Braincleave was an honourable Goblin and we shall remember him with a feast in the hoard tonight. You are welcome to attend my friend!" he said shocked as he looked up to find her crying.

"Thank you Sharpaxe. I hate death so much it affects me to my core every time someone defenceless dies!" she said stunned as more papers came from the box in which he'd tested the other samples.

"Ok these here are all from Braincleave however this isn't. This is from Grinder who died via the AK spell in nineteen eighty five because he tampered with the wrong account on behalf of Albus Dumbledore. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! He stole millions of galleons and there is no honour in that. I hope he is burning in the fiery pits of hell. We dine tonight at seven. Get Albus Dumbledore for me Lindsay. Someone like him would not have the opportunity to go and clean dragon dung here. He would be sentenced to death at once and you and I both know the wizarding world wouldn't take that well. We don't need another rebellion on our claws!" he said as she nodded.

"I will see you at seven this evening!" she said leaving the office. It would take the week to go over everything she'd found in his office but none the less she'd get it done.
